Ahana's POV

It was wedding evening, I was feeling someone is going very far away from me. Was it Manvi? Is she fine? Should I just go and visit her once. No she would get rude. I called the orphanage "hello.. Haan manvi hai kya waha?" I asked.

Just then my mother came in "Ahana chal.. Baarat aa gayi.."

I ended the call and moved out with her, my eyes fell on virat. He was looking so handsome dashing. I smiled at him. I stopped for a moment, I felt someone's presence around. I looked, my eyes were searching for her but she was not here. Why would she be here? She doesn't love me anymore. She doesn't even consider me as her mother.

Manvi's POV

I was hiding behind the tree and looking at the wedding rituals. I smiled seeing virat, he looked so cool in sherwani. Then my mother entered the scene. She looked more beautiful than before. I looked at her wedding dress, tear slipped down my eyes as it was same I demanded to buy. I smiled to myself.. "Nahi sudhrengi kabhi.."

Someone tapped my shoulder, I got scared. I turned and saw Anoop standing there.

"Yahan chupke kyun dekh rahi ho? Chalo saamne jaake dekho tumhari mumma ki shaadi hai" he said to my surprise.

I gave a tough reply "main galti se yahan aa gayi thi.. Mujhe shauk nahi hai shaadi dekhne ka.." I left the place without seeing the complete wedding.

I reached the orphanage and Mr. and Mrs. Sehgal were waiting for me.

Mrs. Sehgal came and said "chale beta? Flight ka time ho raha hai"

I smiled fakely, I meet everyone specially nilima aunty. I hugged her tightly and left the place into the cab.

Nilima looked on.

Ahana's POV

Finally the wedding was over. I was officially Mrs. Virat Singhaniya. It was something unexpected. My friend, Deepthi teased me "congrats.. Ab toh office mein tumhari hi raaj chalne waala hai"

I smiled..

We took blessings from parents. Aditi smiled.. "Aaj main bahut khush hun..."

Anoop finally broke his silence with "Ahana.. Ab toh shaadi bhi ho chuki hai Manvi ko phirse adopt karlo"

I was shocked hearing this. "Papa aap.."

"Ye kya kah rahe ho tum? Kyun adopt karna hai usko?" aditi asked.

"Sahi kah raha hun main.. Tumhe yahi takleef thi na Ahana kuwari maa bani ab married hai.. They can adopt Manvi" Anoop suggested.

"Bilkul bhi nahi.. Uss ladki ne 15 saal meri beti ki zindagi barbad ki hai.. Itna kuch sehna pada hai humhe aur ab aap phirse use wapas chahte hai.. Kuch nahi hoga kitna rulaya uss ladki ne Ahana ko.. Kitni takleef di hai" Aditi spoke hately.

"Sahi kah rahi hai aap... bahut takleef di hai usne apni maa ko" a voice was heard.

I looked at the direction, it was Nilima the lady who came to take back Manvi. She moved to my mother and said "aaj aapki beti aapke paas hai.. Uski shaadi hui hai sirf Manvi ki wajah se"

I was not understanding, what does she mean by that? I approached her and asked "kya kehna chahti hai aap?"

"Manvi ne jaan bujhke tumhe choda.. Wo sab kiya taaki tum apne maa baap ke paas wapas jaa sako.. Aur zindagi mein aage badh sako.. Sach jaanne ke baad usne faisla kiya ki uski wajah se jo kuch tumne saha aage na sehna pade.. Isliye usne khudko tumse door kar diya.." she exclaimed.

I was shocked hearing this. Tears slipped down from my eyes.

"Khush nahi thi wo orphanage mein.. Roj raat ko roti thi.. Virat tumhe jo bhi kaha usne wo sab jaanbujhke kaha tha.. Sach toh yeh hai aaj bhi tum uski mumma ho Ahana aur tum uske akdu uncle.." Nilima bursts out the truth.

Anoop smiled.. "Dekha Aditi jis bachi ko tum paraya kehti rahi usne tumhe tumhari beti lautayi bhi toh khudko Ahana se door karke.. Itna bada sacrifice kiya usne jo insan uske jeene ki wajah se use hi khudse door kar diya"

How stupid is she? Just to get me unite with my parents she separated herself from me. 😒 I want to slap her for this stupidity. She made me cry. She made me suffer in her memories.

"Aditi.. Ye hai Ahana ki parvarish.. Ek baar agar tum use apne gale se laga leti toh kya ho jaata haan? Khoon ka rishta hi sab nahi hota hai.. Dil ke rishte aur zyada bade hote hai.. Virat ko dekh itne saalo se manvi ko beti ki tarah pyar kiya.. Are humhe toh apni beti pe naaz hona chahiye tha usne ekanath bachi ki parvarish ki.. Par humne uska saath chod diya.." Anoop said emotionally.

I closed my eyes. I drop down on my knees. I recalled her harsh behaviour. It was all her drama, just to send me away from her.

Virat picked me up and I hugged him tightly.. "Aisa kaise kar sakti hai wo??"

"Tum kehti thi na tumhari beti paagal hai.. Sach mein paagal hi hai wo.." he said tearily.

"Galti ho gayi mujhse Anoop.. Bahut badi galti" Aditi apologized.

She came to me and cupped my face "I am sorry Ahana.. Uss bachi ne itni si umar mein samajh liya maa beti ka rishta kaisa hota hai..meri beti mujhe mil jaaye isliye wo tumse door ho gayi.. Aur maine kya kiya? Use tumse hamesha ke liye door kar diya"

I was shocked hearing this.. "Mumma aap ye kya kah rahi ho??" I asked.

"Wo.. Mr. and Mrs. Sehgal ko maine kaha ki Manvi ko adopt karle aur hamesha ke liye usey Canada le jaaye" Aditi confessed.

My eyes popped out hearing this. Nilima said "haan Ahana.. Maine manvi ko promise kiya tha tumhe kuch nahi bataungi but main nahi dekh sakti thi usey yahan se jaate hue.. Abhi airport ke liye nikle hai please stop her.."

"Haan Ahana.. Le aao use.. Hamari natin ko ghar le aao ab ye log kya kehte hai mujhe farak nhi padta hai.." Aditi said getting emotional.

I and Virat left the venue, Virat drove to the airport. I was so much angered with Manvi, how can she have another parents.

"Idiot duffer stupid.. Sab hai wo.. Aisa kaise jayegi mujhe chodke.." I murmured.

I looked at Virat's speed and shouted "jaldi chalao na.."

"Are.. chala raha hun.. Na" he replied.

He accelerated the speed. Within 20 minutes, we were at the airport. I rushed in but the security person did not allowed me to get in.

"Please let me.. Go" I screamed.

Virat came over and talked with the security person. He allowed them in as they knew Virat. Ahana enquired at the counter about flight to Canada.

"Sorry mam flight had already taken-off"

I was taken back hearing this. I lost her forever...
