" I woke up in the morning with a heavy head in his arms. He was sleeping peacefully by keeping his hand under my head just like my pillow. I caressed his hair .

Messy hair and slightly parted lips , calmness in face , he was looking so pyaara , I kept my lips on his forehead and lightly unleashed from his arms and left to washroom .

I felt a pain in my head and feverish, " perks of dancing in rain " .

I thought about taking a rest today and remembered what happened when I got a little fever last time ..

Flash back ..

" Kya hua pallu ko " dadi exclaimed by caressing pallavi hair , by sitting beside her when she was laid on her bed.

" Fever dadi " Arjun replied by sitting on the other side of her .

" I will call our family doctor " Avinash implored by removing his phone .

Hearing the doctor's name, Pallavi remembered those bitter medicines and made a face ..

"Bhabhi , how did you get a fever ? " Anant inquired..

" What do you mean , how did she get a fever ??It came just like everyone else did, it didn't come after taking permission, did she? If the bhabhi knows how the fever came." Adit started his Aditya puraan .

"Bhabhi, I will make soup for you," Meera said, worried like everyone else.

"There's no need, Meera. The last time you made soup for me, I got a fever along with diarrhea. Don't do anything, Meera," Mohan Kaka stopped Meera.

"What are you saying, Kaka? I care for everyone so much," Meera whined.

"What if there is a viral infection? We won't take any risks," Ragini asserted

" "By the way, why is this sasuma , who usually ignores everything, so concerned about me today?"? '' Pallavi thought to herself,

Within a few minutes doctor Swetha comes inside the pallavi room and checks her by keeping a thermometer in her mouth ..

" How is the temperature doc?" Arjun asked , before Swetha could reply to anything ..

"Is it something viral?" Avinash interrupted her, and Swetha opened her mouth to say something...

"There's nothing to worry about, right?" Dadi interrupted Swetha again...

"Tests? What if it's viral?" Ragini implored, not letting the doctor speak...

"If admission is necessary, we'll admit them in Goutham uncle's hospital," Adit interjected into their conversation.

"Because Adit really likes the samosas from the canteen there, right Adit?" Anant said while playfully smacking Adit's head.

"I told you, there's no need to eat outside food; I will cook for everyone Meera thought," Why should she sit quietly when everyone is talking? She joined in on their conversation.

"I have said so many times that sick people..." before Mohan could finish his words...

" Boom '' Arjun fires his gun in the air and everyone gets frozen in their places , Swetha about to run from there but a heavy raspy hoarseness voice stopped her ..

" Rukiye doc " doctor stopped and gulped the lump which formed in her throat..

" Ab bathayiye , meri wife ko kya hua hai " he enquired and a shiver ran down her spine ..

" It..it's a normal fever mr srivastav, maybe bcoz of weather change" she said , after giving a prescription she escaped from this crazy family ..

Flash back end ..

" No no no pallu , Don't say anything about your fever, or who knows what kind of war will break out this time." I thought to myself and got ready for the office ..

I took medicine so I felt better after some time..

After completing breakfast i came to our car to go to office, ohh God I am already late , I almost ran towards the car and to my surprise, he was waiting for me near the car ,

I closed my eyes in frustration, now he will definitely get to know about my fever. I gulped and went near the car and my eyes got twinkled by seeing Neil bhayya..

" Neil bhayya , you here ? " I exclaimed..

" Yes pallu I too joined the Srivastav empire " I smiled widely but immediately understood that Arjun was glaring at Neil bhayya ,

" Now what happened to him , why he was glaring at Neil bhayya" I thought to myself

" Ahem ... i mean I also joined the srivastav empire ma'am " Neil bhayya asserted and now i understand why he was glaring at my brother ..

" It's ok bhayya you can call pallu , just like before " I concluded but he denied my words

" No ma'am , when my boss calls you ma'am then how can I call you by name , you are our super boss , but after office hours I can address you by name ma'am " he growled and I rolled my eyes ..

" Ma'am , we are getting late , actually we are late " my husband groaned without making any eye contact, and opened the car door for me ..

Is he mad at me ?

I sat in back seat of the car and he settled beside Neil bhayya , he is upto something which I don't know , he was hardly controlling his anger , I can sense that from his eyes , I can see the fury in his eyes , but what i have done , he is least interested to look at me ..

Last night was a stupendous night , we enjoyed every little moment together and now he was behaving weird. I gulped hard and tried to start a conversation but he didn't bother to give any answer ..

" Take this pill ma'am , you will feel better with your fever " he said and gave a pill , gulped it and drank some water ..

" Ohhh this is the matter , he was angry bcoz , i didn't informed him about my fever , come on it's just a fever nothing else " I thought and maybe bcoz of medicine effect my eye folds got heavy , and last night we slept lately , so I thought to take a small nap in my car ..

After 3 hours we reached our office , he tapped on my shoulder and I got up from sleep with a jolt , I went into a deep slumber , I didn't realise when we reached our office ,

" 3 hours ? " I spat while I came out of the car and my vision is still blurry ,,

" Ma'am , there was a lot of traffic today , he groaned and I felt like my head was spinning..

" Sleepless nights are dangerous pallu , you have to take care of yourself" I thought to myself and left for my cabin ...

when we reached our office, I tapped her shoulder to wake her up. If I am in a good mood I really take her in my arms to our cabin but I am in the worst mood. What if she understands the agony inside me ?? Albeit I know she already understood the anger in my eyes ..

She woke up with a jolt and rubbed her eyes with her knuckles .

" Awww she is my baby "

I must say if I saw her beautiful face for 30 seconds, my anger would fly away just like that. The same happened right now. I got normal after seeing her beautiful face.

She left to the main door followed by Leela , maybe in the effect of medicine she didn't observe the condition of our car , at least I can get relaxed , what if she asks questions by seeing our car's condition ?? What excuse will I give her ??

Ohh i forgot to tell you right , I had a small fight with my enemies, when we were coming towards our office , our car was slightly damaged and God knows how insanely I have driven the car in the past 50 minutes .

My gaze went to Mr Bhushan who was just flabbergasted by seeing our car , he swallowed a pill, maybe it's a bp tablet and drank some water in one go ..

I smirked a little after seeing his condition.

" Neil , get a new car till the evening with the same number plate , Pallavi shouldn't find out that our car has met with an accident " I groaned and Neil parted his lips in shock ..

I threw keys to him and he caught them immediately, I went near bhushan and wrapped my arm around his shoulder ..

" What happened Mr Bhushan, why are you sweating so badly ? " I asked playfully but I know the actual reason why he was behaving like that ..

" Do you want to know what happened to us ? "I implored and first nodded in no, then in yes ..

" Ok then listen carefully, toh hua yeh hai ki " I said and moved my hands like opening a film ..

Flashback ..

" Neil , what are you waiting for , let's finish them " Arjun said while seeing the CCTV footage of their mansion surroundings .

" Yes sir , but there is a problem " Neil scoffed , Arjun pivoted his head towards him , shifting his gaze from laptop ..

" What's the problem ? " He inquired

" Sir pallu ko " ......

" It's pallavi ma'am for you , you can call her by name after office hours , she is the CEO of Srivastav empire , And I want everyone to respect her the same way they respect me." Arjun growled and Neil nodded in yes and removed his handkerchief from his pocket and cleaned his sweat beads..

Although Arjun didn't raise his voice, his cold voice is nothing but a silent Storm which can destroy everything in a minute .

" Sir , if ma'am got to know about your underworld business, she might get afraid, by seeing all these blood shed businesses" Neil sniffed who was concerned for his sister ..

" Don't worry Neil , If not today, then tomorrow she will find out the truth, so let it be known today." he implored and as for their plan they came to the parking lot and waited for pallavi ..

She came to the parking lot and was surprised by seeing Neil over there , both Arjun and Neil nodded to each other for their further counter attack on the gangsters who were planning to attack Arjun and his family ..

Pallavi sat in the backseat and as for the plan Arjun sat beside Neil , Arjun once glanced at pallavi in the rearview mirror, red eyes , a little pale face , he thought maybe she was tired bcoz of last night's rain date ..

She was pressing her left side of the head with her thumb and index finger and trying to hide her headache ..

" "Keep her as far away from stress as possible; this phase is very tough for her right now. Make sure she doesn't strain her mind. If she ever gets a headache, give her this tablet, Arjun."

" What is this tablet for ? "

" this is for headache, it will relax their mind completely, who consumes this table they will get into a deep sleep for one or two hours and their subconscious mind will get relaxed with this tablet , but we can't use this regularly, it can affect her , so only give this one , only she gets severe headache especially in the left side of the head "

Arjun immediately took out a pill from the sheet and gave it to her , she gulped without saying anything and due to the effect of the medicine slept by leaning to the seat ..

Arjun slowly pivoted his head to Neil and his expression is as much as dangerous like a hungry cheetah ,

Quickly Neil removed his seatbelt , by handling steering with one hand as he understands the expression of Arjun , Arjun moved into the driving seat ,

The air was electric with danger as Arjun barreled down the desolate highway, his heart pounding in rhythm with the roaring engine. Four massive SUVs thundered behind him, their speed like hungry predators ready to devour their prey. Inside each vehicle, menacing goons readied their weapons, intent on bringing him to a swift end.

Arjun felt the adrenaline surge through him as he deftly navigated his car, one hand gripping the steering wheel, the other extended out of the window, gun firmly in his grasp. With a quick glance in the rearview mirror, he spotted one of the goons leaning out of the passenger side, an automatic rifle aimed directly at him.

Time seemed to slow as Arjun's instincts kicked in. He aimed, steadied his breath, and fired a clean shot that struck the goon square in the chest. The thug fell back into the SUV, his weapon dropping from his grip, and the vehicle swerved dangerously before regaining control.

"Nice shot!" he muttered to himself, but there was no time to celebrate. The remaining three SUVs were closing in, their drivers unfazed by the chaos. The second SUV pulled up alongside him, a burly goon ready to unleash hell. Bullets began to rain down on Arjun's car as the goon pulled the trigger, glass shattering around him. Arjun ducked instinctively, his heart racing.

"Not today!" he shouted and glanced at pallavi who was leaning to the window slightly ,

" Neil , make her sleep on the seat " he roared but his voice barely audibly over the gunfire. Somehow Neil understood what he was saying and pulled Pallavi in swift mode and laid her on the seat .

Arjun swerved hard to the right, narrowly avoiding the incoming fire while maintaining control of his vehicle. He squeezed the trigger, taking aim at the goon and firing again. The bullet pierced the driver's side window, and the thug screamed as he was hit. The SUV jerked violently, then careened off the road and crashed into a nearby ditch, sending mud and debris flying.

With one SUV down, Arjun pressed on, his focus unwavering. He was aware that the last two SUVs were right behind him, and they were determined to finish the job. Arjun spotted a sharp turn up ahead , a risky gamble, but he had no choice. He expertly manoeuvred his car into the turn, drifting just enough to keep his speed while giving the pursuers a challenge.

The two SUVs followed suit, but as they rounded the corner, the first one miscalculated. Arjun heard the screech of tires as the goon driver lost control, crashing into a tree. The impact sent a shockwave through the ground, and Arjun smirked , adrenaline surging.

" You are just kids in this game losers " he thought, But his victory was short-lived; the last SUV was relentless, edging closer and closer.Suddenly, he felt the jolt as the goons fired again, bullets striking his rear bumper. Arjun swerved to avoid the gunfire, his eyes scanning for any opportunity.

His gaze landed on a narrow alleyway just ahead. Without hesitation, he darted into it, his heart racing as he cut through the tight space.

The SUV followed, but the width of the alley was a problem for the massive vehicle.With a burst of speed, Arjun gunned the engine, praying for the best. The alley twisted and turned, littered with debris, but he navigated it expertly, his instincts guiding him. He could hear the roar of the engine behind him, the goons yelling as they struggled to keep up. They fired wildly, bullets ricocheting off the walls, but Arjun remained undeterred.

" That was a close miss sir " Neil mumbled who was just praying for their well-being in the alleyway ..

" Did you forget our previous attacks ?? " Arjun grunted and squeezed the trigger again without glancing at the backside ..

Just as he burst out of the alley onto a main street, he slammed on the brakes, spinning the car around. The SUV came barreling out of the alley behind him, unable to stop in time. Arjun raised his gun and fired, the bullet striking the front tire, causing it to explode with a deafening bang. The SUV swerved uncontrollably, flipping over and crashing to the ground, sending a cloud of dust and debris into the air.

Before he could catch his breath, Arjun heard another round of gunfire nearby. He turned to see vipul and the other bodyguards taking cover behind a row of parked cars, their weapons blazing. They all are well trained commandos from black soul organisation, especially trained for these types of unexpected attacks

The chaos intensified as Vipul and the bodyguards advanced, firing at the panicked goons trying to escape. Arjun jumped out of his car, adrenaline coursing through his veins as he sprinted toward vipul .

"We need to finish this!" he shouted, determination in his eyes.Neil and vipul nodded, coordinating their next move.

"Cover me!" he yelled as he sprinted forward, leading the charge. Arjun provided cover fire, taking down another thug who was trying to flank them. The streets were isolated and alive with gunfire, the air thick with tension and smoke.

But among all these Chaos, Pallavi was sleeping peacefully under the effect of drug.

As they closed in on the last remaining goon, The final goon, realising he was outmatched, attempted to flee, but Arjun was quicker. He charged forward, tackling the thug to the ground.The two men struggled for a moment, fists flying until Arjun gained the upper hand. He pinned the goon down with his right leg , gun aimed at his face.

"It's over," Arjun spat, breathing heavily. The goon looked up at him, fear evident in his eyes.

" Neil , record this one , make sure it was brutal till the date and send it to that bastard " Arjun groaned

Immediately Neil and the bodyguards surrounded them. Vipul started recording the video

"You're done," Neil said, his tone cold and firm.The remaining goons were subdued, they shot that man in one go and it was really a brutal one till the date , the blood was flowing like a river on that isolated road .

Arjun felt a wave of relief wash over him. He had fought against overwhelming odds and emerged victorious. It's been an hour and the threat has been neutralised. Arjun stood up, adrenaline still coursing through him, and exchanged a nod with Neil and Vipul.

"Let's get out of here," Arjun said, looking at the destruction around them.

"Agreed,sir " Neil replied while glancing at pallavi who was in the backseat ,

"You fought well today " Arjun said while sitting in the backseat . Vipul opened the door for him , keeping Pallavi's head in his laptop and caressing her hair lovingly As they made their way back to their office .

Neil was overwhelmed not bcoz Arjun praised him but he loves his sister to the core , in this massive fight , she didn't even get a scratch on her body .

Arjun knew that the battle was won, but the war was far from over. He glanced back at the wreckage of the SUVs, a steely resolve building within him. He would do whatever it took to protect his wife , and he was ready for whatever came next.

They headed towards the Srivastav industries ...

Flashback end

" So that's how we narrowed from goons Mr Bhushan" I grunted while seeing Mr Bhushan's frightened expression..

" Sir , why are you saying everything to me , you know very well that I am a bp patient" Mr bhushan growled and I chuckled inside ..

" Bcoz i like to see these sweat beads on your face Mr Bhushan , now get back to work we are already late , "If we don't go to the cabin right now, ma'am will get angry with us." I implored and left for the cabin and was followed by bhushan after 30 seconds..

" What rubbish is this ? " she banged the file on the table , Mr Bhushan stood like a robot, I pivoted my head towards her from my file..

"Ma'am, we had to make some changes to the new project." Mr Bhushan muttered to himself by seeing my wife ..

"Is this a small change? It's against the rules, Mr. Bhushan. There's permission for only 5 floors on that land, and if we build 8 instead of 5, you know what the consequences could be, right?" she yelled and I am amused with her tone , she is a fierce lioness for a reason

"Ma'am, if this deal gets canceled, it will be a huge loss, and enmity with Mr. Agnihotri is a different issue. Don't think about the government's permission; we will manage." Mr Bhushan again tried to explain but i nodded my head in dis belief ,

This bhushan had gone nuts that's why he was still trying to explain to her , even Arjun srivastav was never able to convince her till the date , where was Mr bhushan in the race ?

I turned my head towards the laptop and prepared some documents for the next meeting

"So if there is an accident there tomorrow, what about the loss of the families living there? Our loss is insignificant compared to theirs. And as for the enmity with Mr. Agnihotri, leave that to me; I will handle it. And please provide me with another blueprint according to government rules." she groaned and started tapping on the laptop, mr Bhushan still stood the same as before ..

"Ma'am, please think about it once." Mr Bhushan said , I was just ready to hear her yell but her phone ring interrupted their conversations,

Although my eyes are on laptop but my ears are hearing their conversation , I saw them from the corner of my eyes , she inhaled a sharp breath and exhale slowly and said

" If I receive any good news from this phone call, then I will consider what you said; otherwise..." She stopped her line and my lips twitched a little by seeing my lioness , and my wife is transforming like me .

I bit my lower lip to control my smirk , and played with a pen on my hand , Mr bhusan turned towards me for help I just nodded in no , meanwhile she attended the call and it was from prateek , then definitely it's a good news , maybe he joined in his new dream college..

She completed her call and her phone on the table ..

" "You're still here, Mr. Bhushan?" She grumbled and he understands that , there is no use to wait there , he left the cabin ,

Her black eyes met with my brown one accidentally, I raised my one eyebrow and she gulped hard by seeing my intimidating expression..

She licked her lower lip and continued her work, i smirked a little and continued my own business ...

Actually it's a lengthy chapter with 8k + words so i divided it into two parts because of my Wattpad glitch ..

So the next chapter will be a funtastic chapter as this was an explosive chapter ..
