PROLOGUE

AT SHIMLA,

A little boy and little girl of age 10 are sitting near the park without speaking with each other as they know it's going to be the end.

Little roshni speaks breaking the silence between them

Roshni:you know iam leaving right..what did you bring for me?

The Lil boy turns towards her and gives her a small smile wishing this day would never come this soon. He opens his little hands and shows her two leather friendship hands and seeing them roshni smiles

Roshni's parents comes there and smiles looking at those children

Wasim(Roshni's father): roshni..it's the time say goodbye to your dear friend

Roshni sadly looks at him and her friend, she holds his hand and looks at their hands which have the bracelets brought by him earlier,she nods and smiles at him silently promising him that they would meet in the future

The jeep starts and roshni's parents thanks the kind family and Roshni looks at the boy and waves her hand...Roshni's vision of the boy gets far and suddenly she sees the lodge that she stayed is now victim of brutual fireblast

Tear rolls down from roshni's eyes she stops the jeep and gets down running towards there..roshni's parents are equally stunned by the situation and they are alerted by the sounds of shootings and quickly hold their daughter..roshni protests to leave with her father and falls unconscious in her father's arms

A peaceful night in a quick second of moment changed into a terror night

When roshni is conscious all she could see is number of persons getting treated in the hospital and number of people crying their heart out for their beloved ones now turned into lifeless bodies...Roshni slowly gets down and searches for her parents and stops hearing her father's conversation with someone

Wasim: is everyone dead from the lodge?

Someone: yes everyone dead including the owner's family and only a family of two children survived but their situation is quite critical

Roshni stuns hearing that ofcourse she knows what does it mean because her mother told her

AT PRESENT

Roshni wakes up from her sleep sweating badly and hurriedly drinks the water calmly as like it's something she is used to. Yes roshni is used to the haunting visions of her dark past

She sighs and leaves to outside and looks at the stars and full moon

Roshni in mind: i hope Ammi and you are safe there...i know ammi told me the ones who are dead will be watching us in the form of stars and i know ammi and you are watching me from above

Tears roll down from her eyes and she silently cries for a while and slowly drifts to sleep in the swing
