Writer's POV

Roshni took a seat beside Aman nervously. He was staring at her lovingly as if there is no tomorrow and this girl sitting beside him, is his whole world.

Roshni: I am very much tensed,doctor. Allah knows best zyada hogaya kya? Ap sunn rahe ho na? Main toh bas-

And she noticed that he was only staring at her. She looked in his eyes and their eyes get locked. Roshni realised the situation and took her eyes away.

Roshni: Aise kya dekh rahe ho ap?

Aman: Apko..

Roshni: Ap na bilkul wahiyaad prani hai! Aise cute si ladki ko koun taadta hai? Ap na wo judge karne wali anty o jaise meko taad rahe ho!

Aman: Par main toh apko unn anty o beto ke tarha taadna chahta hun..

Roshni: Sorry what? 😨

Aman became awkward.

Aman: Matlab wo..un ..anty o ke beetein honge..

Roshni:Han toh?

Aman: Toh unko shaadi bhi karni hogi..

Roshni: Unki shaadiyaan ap karwaoge? Kitni saamaj seeva kartey ho yaar ap doctor..

Aman: Samajhti kyun nahi ho yaar Roshni ap?

Roshni: Par kyaa?

Before Aman could say something the host announced that it was the result time. They selected 9 people in a row. And it was the 10th one. Roshni was nervous but Aman held her hands.

Aman: Be positive!

Roshni nodded.

Host: And the 10th contestant is.. RIYA SEHGAL.

And they didnt announce her name. Roshni gave Aman a sad look. But Aman told her through eyes that it was okay.

Host: But guys, there's one more announcement. Rima ma'am, please do the honour.

It was the same judge who questioned on Roshni's looks.

Rima: Good evening guys. Actually I want say something, actually I want to apologise to someone for my illogical behaviour.

Roshni and Aman were a bit surprised.

Rima: I always used to think that if you have beauty, you are beautiful. Bahari tamjhaam ke wajah se aksaar ham bhul jaatey hai ki insaan andar se bhi khoobsoorat hona chahiye aur wahi insaan ki asli khoobsoorti hoti hai. Aur yeh baat mujhe realise karwayi Roshni ne. So ladies and gentlemen, meet our final contestant, ROSHNI AHMED!

Roshni was shocked. Aman started clapping. She somehow stood up and tried to smile. All clapped.

Rima: And aplogun ko batadun, ye hamari extra contenstant nahi hai, Roshni ka score bohot accha aya and 10th position pe 2 log hai so we decided to take those two people. Roshni ke liye specially main hi announce karna chahti thi. Congratulations, Roshni.

Roshni: Thank..you, ma'am.

She smiled. Aman couldnt be proud enough.

They both retuned home after dinner. Roshni was arranging cloths.

Roshni: Doctor.. apne circular padh? Mere certificates bhi toh chahiye honge, photocopys submit karane bole but-

Aman: Mere almaari mein hai sare certificates. Nikaal lijiye.

Roshni stopped her work and sat beeide him.

Roshni: Are buddhu, mera competition hai, apka nahi!

Aman: Han wo actually, apke wale hi hai. Maine wo

Roshni: Apke paas kaise ayein, doctor?

Aman: Roshni, look, leave it yaar!

Roshni: Ap bata saktey ho mujhe..

Aman: Apke ammi abbu ke jane ke agle din maine staff bhijwaake apki sari chizein le aya. Usne jaake dekha apke ammi abbu apki..apki saari chizein jalane wale so wo le ayein sab.

Roshni: Including my certificates?

Aman:Hmm..I am sorry-

Roshni: Unko kitna naaz tha merepe.. Meri saari mehnat wo log jalane wale the.. Sab ammi abbu aise hotey hai kya?

She looked at Aman innocently.

Aman: Nahi, Roshni sab aise nahi hotey..

Tears were rolling down by her cheeks. She need to cry and Aman knew it better but he couldnt watch her crying so he left from there. Roshni cried her heart out.

So guys, I decided to go a little fast. The competition track was need but i am not in a mood to write the competition elaborately. I will be upadating the competition part on wattpad later. So let me tell you in short which i wont be describing- Roshni participated in the competition. She faced many troubles and cleared round 1 and 2. So it was the last round and she finally won the competition. So writing from this portion-

Host: And the winner is.. any guesses? So its Roshniiiii Ahmed!

All clapped. Aman was so happy he also clapped. Roshni wemt on the stage to collect the trophy and price money. She was given the mike to say something.

Roshni: Thank you so much. Thank you to each and every soul who supported me specially the one who took care of me when i needed mental support. It couldnt be possible without that person. Thank you!

Aman smiled widely. All clapped.

Later they were walking toward the car.

Aman(in mind): Should I tell her how important she is to me? ki wo ab mere liye kya maiinee rakhti hai? She holds so much impotance and she needs to know this.

Roshni was adoring the award she got. Aman stpped and called her.

Aman: Accha Roshni..

She too stopped walking.

Roshni: Hmm..

Aman: Apko mere barein mein kya khayal hai?

Roshni: Matlab?

Aman: Matlab ap yeh batayein main apko kaisa banda lagta hun? Accha ya bura?

Roshni: Ap..ap sabse alag hai doctor. Mere saviour! Itna jann lijiye Roshni apke bina zijda hi nahi hopati dobara.

Aman: Roshni.. abhi hi batana hai..

He took the things from her hands and kept tjem in the car. Then he held her hands.

Aman: Look I know that hame mile huye zyada dinn nahi huye but.. I think that..

Roshni was looking at him suprisingly.

Aman: Mohabbat kaise karte hai mujhe pata nahi par jab bhi yeh mohabbat shabd mere jehen mein ataa hai tab mujhe sirf apka chehra dikhai detaa hai. Ap mere mehez ek patient honi chahiye thi bas par apki baatein, apki akhein mujhe le dooba aur main nahi chahta ki kuch galat ho, isliye main iss chiz ko official karna chahta hun..

Roshni was shocked.

Roshni: Apka..matlab kya hai?

Aman: I couldnt stop myself from falling for you.

Roshni's eyes filled with tears. She was happy somewhere but also it was hard to accept.

Aman: I couldnt,Roshni, I coudnt! Yaar sote jagte uthte bethte muh mein sirf apka naam ajata hai, zehen mein sirf ap ajati ho..

Roshni: Yeh agar majak hai toh bohot hi ganda mazaak hai..

Aman: Mere akhon mein dekhiye Roshni, apko pata chal jayega main kitna serious hun..

Roshni: Ap..

She didnt know what to say. Her heard was giving consent but her brain, it wasnt ready to accept. She just had to deny all the feeling she'd got for Aman and she thougjt that it would be better for Aman as well.

Roshni: Kya yehi karne ke liye apne mujhe ghar mein ke ayein? Isiliye apne mera ilaaz kia taaki mera aise faida utha sake?

Aman: Mohabbat hai meri, isko faida uthane kaa naam deke beizzat matt kijiye. Mujhe pata hai apke sath jo kuch bhi hua, uske baad inn chizon ke liye ap ready nahi hongi, asaan nahi hai. Par mera ishq apne jagah jayez hai, apko munaasib laage toh ap ise apnana..nahi toh..

Roshni: Nahi toh kya? Aise nahi hota pyaar..

Aman: Mujhe toh hogaya and there is no going back!

Roshni: Bohot acchi ladkia mil jayegi apko.. I am tainted, used. Mere paas apko dene ke liye kuch bhi nahi hai..

Aman: Dena toh apko hai par sirf mohabbat jo ap chahe toh mumkin hai.

He was also in tears. He looked in her eyes directly.

Aman: Apke marzi ke binaa kuch nahi hoga so araam farmaiyein. I just had to confess my feelings jakd se jald taaki baadmein ap galat na samjhe.. Deir horahi hai, ghar chaliye..

Saying this left for the car to seat on the driving seat leaving her standing there only. A lone of tear escaped from her eyes.

It was not easy for her!

Writer's note- Its not easy to move on. Its not easy to accept a new relationship when you're still haunted by your past. Roshni's brain isnt allowing her to fell for the guy who saved her life, who gave her a new life but her heart knows how much she adores him. She should give a chance to herself but she is still confused what to do or what not.
