I'm thinking about creating a cartoon, drawing up a beat board for the first episode (with the rest of the season already planned out) and pitching it Frederator.com--a website that animates cartoon ideas with potential.

Although I have a passion for fictional writing, I also have an even stronger passion for art--specifically cartoons and anime. For as long as I could remember, I always wanted to have a cartoon show of my own aired on Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Disney Channel, or Disney XD.

I know this isn't an easy dream to reach, but that's why it's called a dream and not a checkpoint. I'm willing and prepared to work hard for this.

Anyways, my rambling put aside, let's focus on my idea! I do not have a proper title yet but this is what the show is centered on:

Enter Bernie, the neighborhood's local hobo and avid lover of meddling in other people's lives. He has the body odor of a hobo , the lop-sided smile of a hobo and the clothes of a hobo. Everything about the friendly homeless man was stereotype hobo.

But that's not true.

Bernie lives a double-life. In reality, Bernie is an exorcist monk whose job is to banish demons or help wandering souls pass over. He was appointed by the Ring of Elder Monks to guard the neighborhood but he needed an identity that would -A) keep normal civilians away from his dangerous life, -B) allow him to keep an eye on the neighborhood and -C) give him plenty of freedom to do whatever he can to protect everyone. And thus, he became a hobo.

The Ring of Elder Monks concept is a whole new arc that will be reserved for if my show becomes a series.

So yeah, that's what I got so far. Of course, there will be one or two more regular characters, but I'm only revealing Bernie for now.
