A month later, it was getting harder and harder for Tai and Terra for to go out, mostly because of Terra's parents keep punishing Terra for going out with Tai and the lack of communication from Tai. Terra was currently running down the street since she just escaped from her room and from her guards. She was on her way to Tai's apartment for they can go on a date but just for to make sure he was home she kept calling his cell phone but no answer. Next she tried the house phone.

'Ring, Ring'

"Hello Kamiya residence Kari speaking"

"Hey Kari its me Terra..."

But Kari quickly hanged up the phone on Terra, not even giving her a chnace to speak.

"Serves you right"

Kari said lowly as she glared at the phone. Just then Tai stepped into the livingroom and looked at his sister.

"Who was that?"

"Wrong number"

Kari said as she sat on the couch. Tai shook his head and began checking his pockets.

"Hey Kari by any chance have you seen my cell phone?"

"Nope I haven't seen it, where was the last place you left it?"

"I was sure I left it on my bed before I headed into the showers"

"I have no clue"

Kari said with a smug smirk as she buried Tai's cell phone under the couch.

"Ugh come on, I'm going to be late again"

Tai said irritated as he went back inside his room. Kari sadly smile.

'I'm sorry Tai but believe me this is for you're own good'

Kari thought. Just then the house phone ranged again and Kari immediately answered before Tai had a chance to pick up the phone.

"Hello Kamiya residence Kari speaking"

"........"

"I'm sorry but we don't want your business here"

Kari said quickly as she hanged up the phone. Tai gave her a confused look.

"Who was that?"

"Just a scam"

Kari said lying through her teeth because it was actually Terra calling.

"Mom is really going to need to change the phone lines again"

Tai said as he back to his room. Just then the door bell ring, Tai went to stand on the doorway to his room while Kari went to open the door but then immediately slammed the door. Tai was in shock.

"Hey! Who was that?"

"Nobody"

Kari said simply as she made her way back to the couch. Tai let out a sigh and answered the door when it ranged again. He was surprise to see Terra.

"Terra? What are you doing here so early? You should have called"

He said as he opened the door for her to come in. Terra placed her hands on her hips with a slight glare.

"I did I been calling your cell phone and your house phone but someone kept hanging up on me and just now slammed the door on my face"

She said annoyed. Tai angrily went to face Kari.

"Kari why didn't you tell me that Terra was calling?"

"I thought it was a wrong number"

"You didn't give me a chance to speak"

Terra said confused. Tai shook his head and led Terra to his room.

"Tai mom said she doesn't want any visitors while she is out and that includes her"

Tai rolled his eyes.

"Mom is okay with Terra coming over since she is my girlfriend after all and you should try to show her a bit more respect"

"Why because she's a princess?"

"No its because she is also a human that deserves respect"

"Whatever"

"We'll talk about this later Kari"

He said before closing the door for some privacy. Kari crossed her arms over chest and stood up from the couch and made her way inside the room. Tai and Terra was holding hands and was about to kiss each other when the door slammed opened. Tai looked at Kari in confusion.

"Kari could we have some privacy in here please?"

"Its my room too"

"I know but...."

"Then I'm staying in here"

"Fine"

Tai and Terra stood up as they made their way to livingroom, they sat together on the couch but Tai immediately stood up.

"What's wrong?"

"I think I sat on something"

He then check under the cushion and found his cell phone. He looked at it confuse.

"What's it doing there?"

He said to himself, he was about to call out for Kari but Kari walked out of the room and headed to the kitchen and began taking out fruits to make a smoothie using the blender on purpose for Tai and Terra couldn't be able to hear each other. Tai shook his head annoyed at Kari's behavior, he then signaled Terra to go to the door as he put on his shoes.

"We are heading out and this behavior of yours have to stop"

He said to Kari as he opened the door for Terra. As soon as they were out the door, Kari stood by the doorway angrily. Terra stopped and looked to Kari.

"Kari by any chance did I do something wrong to you?"

Kari crossed her arms over chest.

"No"

"Well okay, would like us to bring you something back?"

She asked gently but Kari simply slammed the door on Terra's face. Tai quickly apologize for Kari's behavior.

"No its okay really, I'm just glad my guards weren't here because if they were to see that kind of stunt they would have thrown her into jail"

Tai was grateful for Terra's bravery even though she gets punish for not waiting for her guards and for dating someone like him, she makes big sacrifices just for him.

"I'm sorry for the way Kari was acting towards you"

"Oh its fine don't worry but it would be nice to know why"

"I'll talk to her"

"Good now let's go on our date before my parents decide to put a picture of me on the 10 o'clock news"

Tai chuckled as Terra wrapped her arm around his as they made their way outside to a nearby restaurant.
