"Okay, I can't take it anymore."

Kari said, slamming down her silverware.

"Kari!"

Tai said.

"No, I'm sorry I can't do this."

Kari stated. Tai got nervous, Kari was about to blow up.

"Terra, if it wasn't for Tai, my hand would be wringing your neck right now."

Kari seethed. Terra just looked at her.

"How fucking dare you come back after what you did to my brother!"

Kari's voice was laced with hate.

"Kari, stop!"

Mr. Kamiya yelled.

"I'm just saying what everyone else here is thinking!"

Kari yelled back.

"You haven't even given her a chance."

Tai almost whispered.

"Why should I, Tai?!"

Kari screamed.

"That's enough! You don't know how hard she's been trying to make this work."

Mrs. Kaimya finally spoke up. Kari ignored her mother and looked right at Terra.

"You're lucky I haven't kicked your ass."

Kari said.

"Why haven't you?"

Terra asked.

"Terra!"

Tai yelled.

"What was that?"

Kari asked.

"Why haven't you? I think I deserve it. I deserve everything that you're throwing at me right now. I don't know what it is exactly that has you so angry at me but apprently you act like I dont deserve to be here. I know that. It hurts me every day to see you angry at me and I'll never be able to forgive myself if I've done something horrible to you. I know I don't deserve Tai. So, if kicking my ass is what will make you feel better, please do it. I won't stop you. I won't fight back. I deserve it."

Terra said, looking right at Kari.
Kari was actually speechless. She wasn't expecting that. Kari sat back down in her chair, dumfounded. Terra thought about all the things she had just said and she felt tears coming to her eyes, she got up and walked as quickly as she could out the door with her guards following close behind.

"I'm not losing her again!"

Tai said with tears in his eyes, running after her.

"Christ, Kari."

Mr. Kamiya said.

"I wasn't expecting that..."

Mrs. Kamiya said.

"Tai seems so upset."

Kari said lowly.

"He is, because you didn't took the time to think about his feelings in all of this."

Mrs. Kamiya spoke up.

"I agree. We should have just heard him out. Now he feels hurts and so does Terra. I know Terra deserves it, but I could tell from Terra's eyes...she really regrets it breaking up with Tai."

Mr. Kamiya said.

"We'll talk to them, together."

Mrs. Kamiya said, motioning to her and her husband.

"Kari, you better apologize to Tai again."

Mr. Kamiya said.

"I will, but I'm going to give him a minute. I need a minute, I just can't process this."

Kari said.

*With Terra and Tai*

"Terra, wait!"

Tai yelled, running after her.

"Tai, don't. I don't deserve you and apparently your family thinks the same way...I can never hurt you. I'm a horrible person for letting you back into my life after you broke up with me but I can never hurt the one thing I care about most in the entire world...after you've given so much of your life to me...I love you so much, but I won't allow my darkness to destroy your bright, beautiful world."

Terra said, furiously wiping away tears with her sleeve.

"Stop beating yourself up over this!"

Tai yelled, tears pouring down his face. Terra turned away from Tai and began to walk away, when she felt arms wrap around her and a warm body pressing against her back. Tai was clutching to Terra for dear life, he was sobbing hysterically.

"I can't lose you again. I need you."

Tai whispered. Terra placed her hands over Tai's and pried Tai off of her long enough to turn to face him.

"You could do so much better than me."

Terra whispered.

"I can't after breaking up with you, I realized I made the most horrible mistake. It hurt me so much because I thought I would never get a chance with you again..."

Tai said, taking Terra's face in his hands. Terra pressed her forehead against Tai's and put her arms around his neck.

"I always fall right back into you."

Terra smiled. There was a long silence, it began to snow. The air was so cold, but all the two couples could feel was the warmth of each other. The whole world grew quite. They looked into each other's eyes, need and love clearly illuminated from them.

"I love you."

Tai whispered and leaned up to kiss Terra. For a split second, Terra was shocked, but she kissed Tai back immediately. The seconds felt like hours, the world had stopped around them. When they broke apart, Terra looked deep into Taii's eyes.

"Do you mean that?"

Terra asked, happy tears in her eyes.

"Yes."

Tai smiled.

"Oh Tai, I love you too..."

Terra cried and pulled him into her arms, not ever wanting to let go.

"Let's go back inside, okay? So we can straighten this whole mess out"

Tai suggested.

"Okay."

Terra smiled and they walked hand in hand back inside. As they entered the home once again, Tai called in a family meeting.

"Okay tell me what is that has you against Terra?"

Tai asked looking at his parent's except for Kari who went out.

"She broked up with you sweetheart, and it hurted us everyday because you would stay inside your room crying and we just knew Terra was the one that hurt you"

Mrs. Kamiya said sadly. Tai and Terra looked at each other confused.

"Mom, Terra never broked up with me. I actually broked up with her"

"What? But you were sad"

Mr. Kamiya said.

"Yeah because I broke up with Terra to be with Sora but then she was actually dating Matt. And then I met Meiko which it was impossible to have a long distance relationship so it never worked out"

"But what made you sad?"

Mrs. Kamiya asked.

"Because I realized that I would never have a second chance with Terra, I realized I made a big mistake on leaving her in the first place"

Tai said holding Terra's hand. Mr and Mrs. Kamiya looked at their in shock and immediately apologize to Terra for their wrong thinking.

"Well since Kari isn't here I will tell her the truth about it later. So can we still eat?"

Tai asked with a grin. Terra and Kamiya's laughed at Tai's appetite.
