Koi stood in his personal hide out with the remaining three "Dark Mist" Children. He seem relieved on how smoothly their plan was going. All at the cost of two people emotional traumas.

It was time for the next step. One that involved getting something first. For that Koi called upon his second in command.  The Digimon Modifier, herself or otherwise known as Subject Six and her digimon. Her name was Anika Haulani who once studied in Japan before N.E.S.T. got ahold of her. She  had repaired a machine like digimon that she found after the events of N.E.S.T.

Gizumon that was once a digimon exterminator made by Kurarata who was a made that once wanted to annihilate the very existance of digimon. The very creator of Gizumon. However DATS missed one that was still in one piece that managed to remain hidden from the final showdown with Kurarata.

Anika managed to find it and repair it. She reprogramed it to no longer be a digimon destroyer to a regular robot that acts like a digimon. Even developed  a personality too. Anika gave the Gizumon the nickname Gero. Gero can not talk but has it's own communicate with Anika through a special code that they made.

"You have a task for us?" Anika look at Koi nervously, unable to look him in the eye. He made her heart pound like a drum.

Gero beeped as it kept behind it's partner. Chuckling in beeps as Anika became more flustered.

"We only have nine days left before we  vanish again. We need to reveal the truth to them soon. Only through confessing what we each experienced and through battle may our souls truly be free. However just giving them the average fight leaves no favor of victory for us. We all need to strengthen our powers. For that we need to get something to aid us" Koi explained

"So is that why your sending Anika to get data from the digimon bank that belongs to that Blues boy?" A boy stand beside a sleeping child.

"Yes" Koi nods. "Only Anika has the skills to do this"

Anika felt her heart shoot out of her chest. Koi had intrusted her with a task that only she can do. Her and Gero alone. She must not fail!

"YOU CAN COUNT ON US!!" Anika refused to fail this mission. Koi will love her for this.

Koi can only smile "I can rely on no one better" He winked at her.

The boy shook his head watching this lovey dovey flirting. It made him angry yet he preferred to hold it in for his foes. After all, he learned of a certain digimon on the heroes side. Gulusgammamon aka "The Jet Black Champion". As one of the strongest "Dark Mist" children, he always wanted a challenge.

For now he had to be paitent. He  would get his chance. To  be able to free their two friends that are using their life forces to allow them  to be brought back for the month where spirits wander the earth. 

There two friends were Subject 2, a young Scottish boy named Alastair Gordon. He had lost his emotions from the "Dark Mist" which also allows him to craft and manipulate emotions of his enemies. Allowing him to turn friends against one another.

His digimon was Musyamon. The cursed samurai was greatly attached to the boy that gave him. The one who allowed him to face powerful enemies. Though now he remained as an archor vessel so that his allies could roam the earth.

To complete their mission. To reveal their pasts about N.E.S.T and for all their souls to be free.

The other soul that archors them to the earth. She was an American girl named Olivia Jones. Otherwise known as Subject Four. She was the most deadly of the others with her power, thus she was selected as one of the archors for this year. Not that she minded. She often prefered the peace and quiet. Even the greatest of mind manipulators need a break once and a while. 

Her partner was Hi Andromon. The only digimon that could approach Olivia without falling for her mind games. The one that remains by her side no matter how danger she is. Even now that he is an anchor for his fellow digimon teammates.

There are times where they swap places with another "Mist" child to have a bit of fun. However they can not use their partner digimon as a result. It is why Alastair had to use Puppetmon when he faced Mei and Shiramon.

"It should be the perfect time to break into his lab. It's night fall. Given the information that I gathered from my secret helper, Blues is still suffering from what Soulmon did. While his guard is down with his emotional grief. Your best opportunity to break in to his database for his intel on digimon. He has as much data than anyone has ever possessed. We may learn more about the digimon those heroes possess as well" Koi points out. He then walked over to Anika with directions on how to get to Blues Lab. "Come back safe" Koi whispered in her ear.

Anika face went completely red before she stammered back. Her eyes went spiral like. Gero could have swore that she was overheating. Even though she was not a robot.

"I WILL NOT FAIL!" She was full of confidence as she walked out the door. Gero following behind her.

Operation Data Heist is a go!

Anika managed to find the lab pretty easily. It didn't stand out or anything. The only really thing that made it stand out was the digital field presence that Gero was able to sense.

"We are here. Step 1 is complete. Now for step two!" The two went to look for a way in.

They could not go through the front door since Blues most likely set up security for them this time. That and who in their right mind just waltz into enemy terrority like an idiot. Gero scans located an open window right were Blues data base was. It seem that Blues was working there. However as their helper informed Koi, Amoramon was out.

Something to do with trying to find a gift to fill the hole in Blues heart.

A lucky break for Anika. Former Knight of Lust or not, no human can face a digimon by themselves. All she needed to do was deal with him then she could take all the data that they would need.

Blues himself was occupied with studying Aliana file. Mummymon had sent him a copy to analyze the unexplained injuries. The physical injuries were not properly healing and Aliana went in and out of constant fevers. The transformation seemed to have caused damage to her already unstable code. Blues began to look over a sample that Mummymon had gotten of the "Dark Mist". Studying it may be able to provide answers and a possible cure for their friend.

He also want to personally pay those children back for what they did to him. They had the very nerve to bring Alicia back from the dead.

Tormenting him with his lost love. He was still haunted by it. So much that each time he looked into a mirror, he saw her reflection behind him. Staring at him with cold eyeless sockets.

He shook his head a bit. He had been going through the file and the sample all day with little to no progress. Here he thought that "HE" was the only one that genius surprised him. Apparently N.E.S.T were brilliant minds that rivals his own. A challenge that he did not to lose. He went to his kitchen to get himself  another pot of pure black coffee.

This would be number 20. His only ally into hours of research. Hiro told him that he was becoming an addict for it, though Blues would comment on his grades to shut him up.

Anika used this chance to get into the data base. Gero used his hacking software to break the several firewalls and security protocols that Blues installed. The most advanced that Anika ever had to deal with.

"He's really brilliant, huh Gero?" Anika hated to admit it but she felt that Blues genius trumped her own. However she couldn't fail.

She had to succeed. For thier mission! Her friends! To reveal the horrors of what N.E.S.T did to them! More importantly to fulfill the mission that Koi gave to her himself. SHE MUST NOT FAIL HIM!!

Gero made a rapid chirp like beep which indicated that the hack had been successful. They had managed to get into the data base!

"Yes! Yes!! We're in! Gero proceed with step three! Download as much data as possible. Don't leave a single file unturned! We will not leave without the data we came for!" They were so close! They were just about to complete their mission.

Sadly, Anika shouting got in the ear shot of Blues who had just finished brewing his coffee. He already knew that they were here. If anyone tries to hack his machines, his VR eye alerts him immediately. Blues is the type of man to allow the enemy to have a bit of fun before he strikes.

Like how he did when Hiro hacked into his laptop once.

"Incredible!! So much data! Koi will be so pleased with us! He might even give me a "Gift" with his second ability!" Anika began to daydream of Koi taking her arms as he looked at her lovingly.

"Yes. The Data base was mostly based around what Hokuto forced me to study. Possibly the best thing he ever put me through. Have you seen the file of  "Code Crash"?" Blues wasn't noticed by the two yet. He would keep up the act for now.

"OOOOOH!!! Gero download that file next!" Anika insisted.

The Gizumon obeyed the command. Trying to download the file. Though it's red eye flashed a warning like beep before backing away from the data base. A few seconds later the entire data base exploded, erasing or destroying all the data inside.

"NOOOOOO!! We only got 35 perfect of thst data!! We needed more! Koi was really counting on us!!" Anika ruffled her long black hair like it was becoming a crow nest.

"Tch, did you honestly think it be that easy? That you could try to steal from me after what you made Soulmon do to me? Here I thought that you all had brains. You really thought that hurting me could give my brother a point in the right direction of your past. That is really crossing a line. Not to mention that one of you had nerve to hurt a dear friend of ours. I care very deeply for my brother Hiro. We may not share blood or parents. Though he is the most precious person to me and I refuse to let you hurt him. Especially using my data to do so!" Blues had the coldest glare that he ever held.He doesn't get emotional hurt without getting even.

Amoramon was his partner but Blues has been able to deal with digimon by himself. A reason he was so feared by the other knights. A teenager who not only deletes his enemiesbut mentally shatters their minds first. He demonstrated that by defeating six mega digimon that tried to mess with his new mother. He made them rue the day that they even batted an eye at her.

Gero could sense that Blues was trouble. It's first instinct wss to keep Anika safe at all cost. So the Gizumon grab Anika and made a break for it.

Blues watched the two leave. The girl screams to go back could still be heard for a few miles before it went silent

"Not good..." Blues got out his phone and called Hiro. "Hiro....We got a problem..."
