Snot. Mucus. All that stuff that clogs up one's nose. How it becomes all drippy and goey once it is sneezed out. Hardens once it stay in the nose for a long period of time. Truly it disgusting. Spreading germs where ever it goes. Getting those around it sick. Digimon Ghost Game! Booger Blob!

Within Mei Hoshi household there resides forty baby digimon that Shiramon had taken in through finding digi eggs on her adventures. Each had come into the human world without any one to look after them. Each baby had their own personality and deeply loved Shiramon and Mei. Their love had even aid them to protect the two of them.

That love went far to the point where the babies can access mega form by will. They each had a twenty minute time limit to maintain their mega forms before tturning back. Only using such forms in emergency situations.

Much like how they battle Malicemon army of spirits. Each fought their hardest in order to free Shiramon from Malicemon deadly hold on her. They only wanted to rescue the female digimon that gave them unconditionally love since the moment they were found by her.

Shiramon had left them in Hiro, Ruli, and Kiyoshiro care while she went to visit Aliana in the hospital. After a bit more research, Blues and Mummymon had finally discovered an antidote that appeared to aid Aliana condition. Slowly leading her to recover from the monstrous transformation that Bruno forced on her.

Mei had gone to meet their detective friend. They had news of what appeared to be a major discovery that regarded the  "Dark Mist". The two often met with each other to meet in secret. The only reason they did this, it mainly regarded how they could handle situations much better than the others. Each could process situations differently from the other.

Hiro could calmly handle situations but his emotions tended to cloud his judgement at times. Something that could led to his down fall if not careful.

Ruli tended to go into situstions recklessly. Thst often got her into danger that could easily be avoid if she put a little more thought into her plans to resolve situations.

Kiyo was indeed a logical thinker and could develop strategies. Though his lack of courage made that hard to carry out. Especially since he constantly Integer Overflow.

Leaving Mei and their detective friend to be the best choices to handle new intel first and inform tje team while sharing the best course of actions on taking these new trends.

Another way that Mei became more of the motherly adult then a sisterly friend to the group. She had basically taken in four more kids if she counted Gammamon. Not that she minded most of the time though.

That left the other three taking care of the babies. Takes to the app that Blues developed, the babies could be safe in the environment that the app made for them. The surroundings changed weekly, so today the babies that were in app were relaxing in the swallow beach waters.

The babies that were out were Jyarimon, Popomon, Puwamon, Petitmon, Poromon, and finally Viximon. They were let out since unlike Mei app, only 34 babies can be in the app max. Leaving six babies would need to be watched by the young heroes.

Boy were they causing trouble for the team. Mostly focusing on Kiyo since he spoilered the movie that they were planning to watch. This was their revenge!

They were running or in they're cases, hopping around the dorm room. Making a mess of books, nibbling on anime figures, and messing up all value of the rare DVDs that Kiyo had collected over the years. He fell into a heap in the corner. Sobbing about how he lost his precious anime and mangas.

Hiro somehow got them to behave by using Gulus as a scare. Telling the six fresh level digimon that if they weren't careful that the "Jet Black Champion" would come and get them. Hiro felt bad since all of the babies were shaking in terror not too long afterwards.

He had to remember to bribe them not to tell Shiramon. Moreover Mei. She still had pictures of him in that Princess Peach costume from the group costume idea. Gammamon was Mario since he or someone else was always saving Hiro. Kiyo had been originally chosen to wear it since he constantly was kidnapped or put in damsel in distress situations more than the others. Sadly Hiro rimmed agreed to switch the moment Kiyo asked.

His sad inability not to say no to any request was his downfall this time. That and letting Mei take the stupid photo in the first place. Mei had too much dirt on him. One wrong move and she ruins his live forever.

Ruli was putting A cute little lace cap on Jyarimon head when her phone buzzed. Another case notice from Lirurun. This one was called "Booger Blob" The mere name made Ruli face fill with disgust.

Why did it have to be when they were having a peaceful time with adorable baby digimon?!

She read through the case before she noticed that the hologram silhouette had "Dark Mist" around it.Another case. Only this time Mei and Shiramon were out for this one. Best to give them a break anyways.

She let Hiro and Kiyo know but they now had a problem on their hands.

"What about the babies?" Hiro asked, petting Viximon who came over for a good head pat.

"We can't leave them alone, they could be in danger. Though we may need everyone to face this new "Dark Mist" Digimon" Kiyo pointed out. He believed that they had a better chance to beat whatecer they be facing asa full team.

"Yeah. Though Mei would kill us if we put the babies in harms way" Hiro could feel Mei stare of death in that moment.

"We can handle ourselves" Jyarimon pouted.

Did the Sin Code Arcs where they fought like heroes have slipped their minds?! They were amazing and the heroes knew it!!

The other five agreed. With much protesting and threatening to call Mei, the trio had no choice but to bring them along.

Reports from the Lirurun case had said that anyone that sneezed in a certain alley would hear this song.

"Plop Plop~ A sneeze hops to you~ Mucus runs and sticks to you!~ Sneeze Sneeze to make me gone~ Spread Boogery germs to everyone~"

After someone hears that song, they go into an immediate sneezing fit that then makes the victim extremely ill. Victims staying that they see a yellow booger come to them before they first get the symtoms.

That would be the main location of their search. As they looked around. Gammamon and the babies sang a little song.

"A Booger Hunt we Go~ A Booger Hunt we Go~ Mucus and Snot cover us not!~ A Booger Hunt we Go~" Jyarimon and Gammamon sang together while checking the trash cans of the alley.

"A yellow Blob!~ A yellow Blob~ Mucus and Snot cover us not!~ We seek a yellow Blob~" Viximon and Poromon searched high and low for the myster digimon.

"Pray we don't get Sick~ Pray we don't get Sick~ Mucus and Snot cover us not!~ Pray we don't get sick! Popomon and Puwamon searched with Ruli and Kiyo. Both seem to be amused by their song.

"Look there it goes~ Look there it goes~ Mucus and Snot cover us not!~ Look there it goes~" Petitmon managed to spot a small yellow blob matching the "Booger Blob" description hopping their way.

Their little song must have attracted it.

"That's Zurumon. It can make toxic bubbles, and if it touches any of us then we will be infected by a very strong virus" Everyone got ready the moment Angoramon said that.

Though something surprising happened.

"I am the Booger Blob~ I am the Booger Blob~ Mucus and Snot covers me indeed~ For I am the Booger Blob!~" As Zurumon sang, the "Dark Mist" expelled itself from his small body.

"Did Zurumon just expel the mist?!"Hiro asked. Seeing how it was the first time that this had happened so far.

"Maybe the babies song somehow got through to him" Ruli suggested while looking at how happy Zurumon was.

For a digimon that reassemble an actual booger, Zurumon actually looked cute.

Though Zurumon was one of the data files that the mystery girl and her strange looking digimon had managed to take from Blues lab. Could they have used that knowledge to purposely infect a Zurumon?

Welp, Shiramon has another reason to be upset with remaining "Dark Mist" children. Anyone who has the nerve to ever hurt or use a baby digimon for evil, Shiramon will make sure that they NEVER SEE ANOTHER DAY IN THEIR LIVES. WHETHER THEY ARE DIGIMON OR HUMAN!!  Shiramon will hunt them down and make them painfully regret it. With their lives!!

"The Booger Blob our friend~ The Booger Blob our friend~ Mucus and Snot cover us lots!~ The Booger Blob our friend!!~" The babies sang together as they welcomed their new friend.

Though the moment they returned home, the babies and Gammamon got sick. It must have been how closely they were playing with Zurumon.

Probably didn't help that Hiro brought Zurumon with them. He wore gloves so not to get sick too. The thought of leaving a baby digimon alone on the streets made him feel guilty.

Shiramon had clearly rubbed off on him.

Though their timing couldn't be worse since both Mei and Shiramon had returned.

Mei looked at the six sick babies as she went to get each a blanket.. After all of them were snug intheir own blanket cocoons, Mei looked at Hiro with a cold stare.

"WHY ARE THE BABIES SICK?! WE WERE ONLY GONE FOR TWO HOURS!! EXPLAIN TO ME HOW THIS HAPPENED HIRO!!" Mei anger could have matched the tales of onis in folktales. She really got so angry that she grabbed Hiro by his shirt collar while growling.

Hiro got scared. If he said one wrong thing then he get no mercy from the queen of blackmail. He had to measure his words carefully.

Sadly for him, Gammamon sealed his fate.

"We found "Booger Blob"" He said cutely before sneezing.

Shiramon blinded in confusion before Angoramon showed her Zurumon. That was how Shiramon acquired baby number forty two. Shell would be introduced later after the whole "Dark Mist" situation would be resolved.

Mei smirked at the information. "Thanks Gammamon" She smiled before senting Hiro picture as Princess Peach to the whole school.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" In that moment, Hiro life was over. He could never leave his dorm again.

From outside, Skullmeramon watched from a neighboring rooftop. In his arms was the sleeping child.

"Fail...." He muttered. He would have to inform Anika that her test had failed.
