Rika

We sat down with our parents , who were stunned of seeing us, covered with bruises, from the battle we had earlier. 

Dad was the first to spoke, "Rika, we don't understand. What you children doing here, in the Digital World?!?"

I was fused with anger, mostly because that we discovered about them being the Digidestined.

"I really am not going to tell you right off the bat. I'm mad at you, Dad, all of us are." 

He was stunned of the way I've acted as Ash calmed me down, "Take it easy, Rika. I'm just glad our parents were able to find us. It's not a big deal to me anymore." 

Mr. Himi said, "Son, you really don't know what is at stake here, you are not a -" 

"Digidestined?" Isabella finished his sentence, which causes the parents to be stunned of our knowledge of it. 

"How did you know that?" Mrs. Orimoto asks with a curious tone. 

We exchanged looks, wondering if we should show them our D-Tectors. 

Isabella said, "Rika, it's your call." 

I thought hard, but maybe Ash does have a point. We basically just become Digidestined and been summoned without any training. 

"Harry, Min, Ash, let's show them our D-Tectors."

They took the Digivices out as the parents gasp. 

Takuya 

I couldn't believe my eyes. Our children are the new Digidestined?!!?  I couldn't believe that my daughter is their new leader. 

Zoe said, "I don't believe it. You guys are the next generation of Digidestined?" 

Ash replied, "It appears that way, we all came through the train station and the next thing we know we ended up here, being the new Digidestined." 

"We never thought this day would be here. J.P . said, "It's totally uncanny that a descendant from a Digidestined comes to the Digital World before." 

Rika said, standing up, "We can't stand here doing nothing, not with the Digi Lords roaming around, trying to capture the innocent Digimon. 

Ash, you and Izzy go on patrol for the Digi Lords and find their next attack motive. Tommy, Harry and I would stay here with Bokomon and try from here." 

"You got it, Rika, don't worry about it." Ash said, walking out with Isabella, as I was amazed with Rika's leadership skills.

Rika stayed up as she looks at the stars. 

"Hey, Squirt. " I greeted the young teen, but there wasn't any response. 

"Listen, I didn't suspect that you are the new Digidestined leader. It's a big responsibility, Rika." 

She said, "You decided now to have a pep talk, dad? As I recalled, you didn't bother to mention to me that you were a Digidestined after all this time. " 

I sighed, she has a point, we never talked about my childhood, or the trust I've gained from the original Digidestined.

"I guess I kind of owe you an apology. I guess I was afraid of telling you the dangers of being a Digidestined. " 

Rika said, "You could've told me the truth. It's all in the genes. You know what? I was the first one to ever used Spirit Evolution right off the bat." 

I was stunned of that revelation. "Really? You actually use Spirit Evolution on your first attempt?"

Harry said, "It was amazing, Mr. Kanbara. Your daughter really knows what she is capable of." 

"H-Harry! How long you been listening to our conversation?" Rika asks nervously. 

"For a while. Rika, you really don't have to be worried about being a leader. You basically got the instincts and I would be careful the next time we meet one of the Digi Lords." He replies with a concern tone. 

The teen nods, "Yeah, thanks for the comforting advice, Harry. I'm going to bed now." 

"Get some sleep, Rika. I'll take your shift . See you in the morning." Harry said as I lean in, "So, what's with you two?" 

"Mr. Kanbara, it's nothing! I'm just being a friend that's all." He said, as I said, "Really?"

Harry nods as he begins his shift. 

I covered Rika with the blanket I've seen nearby as Zoe looks at me. "I still can't believe that you, Takuya, are a father. Why you didn't tell us that you had a daughter of your own?"

I rubbed my head, "We haven't seen each other since we defeated Lucemon and went back to the Real World." 

Zoe nods, "True. So, since we did find out who are the new Digidestined, what shall we do, force them back home?"

I thought about it, Rika already has a team and only they can defeat Lucemon and save the Digital World.

I really don't know what to do, but suddenly, Koji said, "Let them handle this, Takuya. Rika seems to get everything under control from here."

J.P. said, surprised of his calmness, "Koji, you can't be serious! They don't know how to do Spirit Evolution in battle, or using the D-Tectors! They're just kids!"

Tommy points out, "Hey, we were just like them when we came into the Digital World. How much trouble they can possibly do?" 

The next morning, Rika and the others look at us. 

"Dad, you're leaving us, aren't you?" Rika said, knew that I was going to say it. 

TJ said, "Rika, this is your journey, and we'll wait for your return, and once you returned to us, we want to hear everything." 

Zoe nods, "Yeah, and besides, it seems kind of a relief that knowing there is a new Digidestined out there, following our footsteps." 

Min said, sheepishly, "I am still trying to get over the fact that you guys were the original Digidestined. " 

Koichi said, "I'm sure that you'll do fine. You have Bokomon to help you guys out." 

I knew that Rika still is upset that I didn't exactly told her right off the bat that I was in fact the leader of the original Digidestined, just like she is . 

As we left the new Digidestined, I sigh in total relief. 

"Do you think that we did the right thing of leaving Rika and her friends there?" Koji asks with total worry.

Zoe said, touching his shoulder, "Koji, you have to loosen up a bit. I'm sure that they'll handle this , besides they have Bokomon with them. " 

Kochi said, "Yeah, but still, it's hard to believe that our children are the new Digidestined! Talk about Deja vu all over again." 

"I'm sure they'll contact us soon, and they will do everything in their power to get back home safely." I reassured my old teammates.

"Takuya, I hope you're right about all of this." J.P. said.

I hope so too, for all of our sakes.

Harry

Even though I have become a Digidestined, I am still worried about my younger sister, Sakura. Maybe Sakura is somewhere in the Digital World somewhere, and I intend to find out where she is, and she can help us fight the evil Digimon.

"Hey, Bokomon, I was wondering about something that I couldn't figure out." I said to the Digimon.

"Oh, and what could that be, Harry?" He asks with a curious tone. 

"Well, the original Digidestined, my dad , Koji, when he was in the Digital World, did he find out that Koichi was his older brother from the start?"

"Hm, well, no. Koji  didn't know that Koichi actually existed until they battled one other. Why you ask?"

"Promise not to tell Rika and the others? The truth is... there is one more member of our team is missing. The eighth Digidestined is Sakura, my younger sister." 

The Digimon was shocked that history was repeating itself. "If Sakura holds the power of Darkness, she needs help. 

Lucemon must've tricked her of being the enemy, just like Koichi was. 

You must find her before she can do anymore damage to herself. 

Harry, you must go on ahead. This is a journey that you must go on your own. " 

"But what about the other Digidestined? Would they need me if they find out I'm gone?" I ask, wondering about their safety.

"Rika would lead the others as they possibly can. The Digimon that Lucemon will send will distract them long enough to notice you were gone. 

You must act quickly." Bokomon suggested.

I nodded with the Digimon's advice as I went to find Sakura . If Dad was able to reach Koichi and freeing him from evil, maybe that's what I needed to do. 

"Execute! Spirit Evolution! " I yelled as I transformed into my Spirit Digimon,  KendoGarurmon and I thought to myself, "Sakura, don't worry. I'm going to get you out of this mess. " 

As I didn't notice, that I must be lurking into a trap to knowing that my little sister may be closer than I thought she might be.
