(Miragemon P.O.V.)

Laughter could be heard as Elizabeth swung back and forth on the swing set in front of her old house.
She wasn't alone though. I was sitting with my back against the tree. I was smiling at her.

Elizabeth looked completely filled with joy as she looked back at her old house.

I smiled knowing my tamer's kind heart. I looked up at the sun to see it was slowly setting. I suddenly felt uneasy for some reason.

I looked straight up into the sky to see a bright light. At first I thought it was a star, but then it started to appear more clearly in the sky. It was a... missile and it was heading for our direction.

Elizabeth got up off the swing set to look straight up at it with awe. The seventeen year old held her hand up slowly to grab my paw but she couldn't move it quick enough.

I saw the missile plummet into the forest, there was a bright flash and then a huge smoke cloud formed into a giant mushroom. Suddenly trees, animals, cars and any object was slowly being turned into data and being deleted.

The swarm of deletion was heading straight for Elizabeth's house. I tried to move to prevent anything from happening but it was like my feet were glued to the ground.

I watched in terror as a family who sat in the front yard screamed in agony as they were being turned into data slowly and then became nothing.

I closed my eyes before the data sweep hit her Elizabeth and I. I felt a breeze of extreme hot air and then nothing at all.

Suddenly I awoke, sweat covered my body from head to toe. I was slowly taking in breaths. Tears were streaming down my face. "What was that?" I asked aloud as I looked around.

I found myself in Elizabeth's old room. It was bright pink, with a new bed, that must have been put in by the newer owners.

I decided to sleep in Elizabeth's sleeping bag because I found it easier to sleep in. Elizabeth's slow breathing calm my nerves.

I looked outside the window to see blackness, it was still nighttime, I could tell because of the constant ringing of grasshoppers.

I wipe my sweat off my face with the back of my paw. "Was that a dream, or was that a prediction of the future....?" I asked nyself slowly. Looking back out the window wondering about my dream.

(Cody's Pov)

I was sleeping a green sleeping back in the middle of a living room. My arms spread apart. My snoring was loud and constant which kept a few unhappy families awake.

Panthemon was curled in a ball sleeping next to me, snoring up a storm as well.

The two of us had no clue that was about to end for us.

The living room light flicked on and Riley stormed into the room, Goamon was following after his tamer with a concerned look.

Riley grabbed me by my shoulders and started to shake me. "Cody wake up!" he snarled as he shook me.

I woke up, my eyes were wide as I was being shake vigorously. "Riley what the hell are you doing?" I asked angrily.

Riley bared his teeth and looked ready to strike me. He let go of me and held up a fist. "Where is Marie?" he asked between a growl.

I shrugged and said in a whisper. "I don't know where she is, I talked to her last night but that was the last I talked to her." I answered.

I was beginning to close my eyes but Riley grabbed my shoulders and shook me until I open my eyes again. "Cody what did she say last night?" he asked angrily.

I sighed and sat up in a sitting position. I rubbed my eyes before I said. "I don't know she was talking about, how sad she was that you didn't want to do something. She said that you thought it was too dangerous. But she thought that if we all group together we would be able to defeat it but I forgot who she was talking about."

Panthemon scratch his face with his paw. "I think Lunamon was talking about the digimon sovereigns." he whispered with groggy eyes.

Goamon's eyes grew wide. "You don't think, Lunamon and Marie would..."

Riley face palm. "Dammit Marie, why would you not listen to me?" he snarled. He walked over to a wall and slammed his fist against it.

My eyes grew wide. "What's wrong? What did Marie do?" I asked in concern. I didn't want to hear that she was in some sort of danger.

Riley gritted his teeth and did a quick turn on his heels to look me straight in my eyes. "She was all about going after Baihumon. She doesn't want anyone else to get hurt. She thought that if we all group together we would be able to defeat him."

Goamon sighed. "Jason and Riley didn't think it was a great idea, he knows that Baihumon would have many troops around him, which I agree with. Even though Lunamon, Coronamon, and myself can reach the mega level form, like some of your group can. Doesn't mean we will be able to defeat him. He is just too powerful being a mega level digimon."

Riley slammed his fist against the wall again. "I should have known that she would have run away. She is so damn stubborn, once she gets an idea, she won't stop until she accomplish her goal. She just wants to protect the people she cares about. But for all I know, she could be dead right now!"

I looked at how Riley was acting, I felt the same despair for Marie right now. What would happen if she was dead? What if we went looking for her and we found her body lying in a field in a limb. I wouldn't even be able to forgive myself.

I knew how desperate she was last night, i should have asked her why she was acting like that last night. I should have been there to stop her. To snap her out of the stupid idea of hers. I should have yelled for the others to make her think logically about her decision.

Panthemon coughed and pointed to a few unhappy people lying in their sleeping bags. A few looked groggy as they stared at us with bitter looks for waking them up.

Panthemon whispered. "Let's finish this talk outside." he suggested.

Riley, Goamon, and I nodded agreeing with the tiger digimon. The four of us walked away from the living room and walked out the front door and sat on the grass in front of the house.

Panthemon bit his lip. "So what do you guys suggest we do?" he asked as he crossed his arms across his stomach

I sighed I had no idea what we could do. Marie could be anywhere in town, I only wish that she could have told me that she was leaving...

Riley bared his teeth. "We have to go after her, I know it may be dangerous but I can't let my sister die." he whispered angrily.

I sighed. "That is a good idea but I don't think we should go alone, we should tell the others, and also we could split up in two teams to find her. Maybe the girls go one way and the guys go the other?" I suggested.

Goamon shrugged. "That sounds like a decent idea."

Riley sighed as well. "Fine we have to wake the others, but make sure that none of the parents wake up. They would definitely stop us, if they knew that we could be in range of being attacked by the sovereign." he instructed.

I nodded. Both of us ran inside to wake the others. I had trouble waking Crystal, she looked ready to tear my throat out.

"I can't believe you woke me! At three in the morning!" she screamed when the rest of the group were outside.

Glaciamon rubbed her face with her paw. "Crystal can you be quiet before you wake everyone in the entire house?" she asked politely

I pouted. "I am not going to be quiet until I get some answers. "She mumbled.

Riley walked outside with Amanda, Jeffrey, Fanny and their digimon trailing behind them.

Ariomon looked angry as hell. Her eyes were half way closed and she looked ready to tear someone apart just like Crystal.

I decided to stay away from those two at this time.

James rubbed his forehead. "Guys just calm down, I know it's early in the morning, but these two might have something important to tell us." he suggested.

I smiled I was glad that my friend could see what was going on.

Phemon who was sitting on James' shoulder rubbed his eyes. "They better or, I suggest that we get to beat them up." he chuckled.

Panthemon nodded and walked in front of us. "We do have something to say. Marie has run away thinking that she can handle Baihumon alone." he answered.

Everyone grew quiet, no one spoke until Jiwon spoke.

Jiwon was covering her mouth with her hand. "Why would she do that? Doesn't she know that Baihumon is a tamien level digimon and that he is one of the digimon sovereigns?" she asked in shock.

Egaramon nodded. "I can't believe she would do something that reckless, she is a smart girl so that's shocking to hear that she ran away. I would imagine Cody and Panthemon doing something that stupid but not her." she whispered.

Glaciamon nodded to agree with the eagle digimon. "Why wouldn't see ask for help? Why did she think that she could handle a tamien level digimon by herself?" she asked.

"What level can Lunamon even reach?" Huitzomon asked from Amanda's arms.

Coronamon sighed. "Lunamon can reach the mega level but still I don't think she would be able to handle Baihumon for that long." he whispered

Jason looked at Riley with a concerned look. "Why didn't she listen to us?" he asked.

Crystal turned on her heels towards Rikey. "What is he talking about?" she asked

Riley sighed. "Last night, Marie told us her idea that if we all group together we would be able to defeat Baihumon but Jason and I told her that wasn't the great of an idea. But she told us that she couldn't believe that we would give up. That if we don't do anything now more people will die, more families will be separated. We just told her to wait for us to come up with a plan but she must have thought she could handle it on her own." He told her.

Crystal crossed her arms over her chest. "Why is it so hard for guys to think that girls can't handle themselves? Do you think we can't handle ourselves against a tough opponent?" she asked angrily.

Riley look shocked to hear this from Crystal. "I didn't mean it that way, I was just saying that sometimes girls need to be lead in the right direction sometimes-"he cut himself off because he knew he ran into another wall.

Crystal's eyebrow twitch. "What!? Girls have to be what now? Girls are too dumb to be led by themselves, so boys have to come in and save the day huh?" she asked between clench teeth.

Goamon looked between the two and held up his gloved hands. "Crystal you know that he didn't mean that." He said with a quiet voice to keep her calm.

Crystal bawled her fists. "Do I? Seems to me that he doesn't think I am too bright to know any better!" she shouted.

Reymon was terrified by the sudden shouts that he went behind Zen and hid.

Zen walked over to Crystal and put his hands on her shoulder. "Crystal come on, you know Riley would never say anything like that to you."

Crystal scoffed and turned away from Zen and Riley. From my standpoint it looked like she didn't want to talk to anyone.

Fanny looked shocked by how everything just went. "What should we do, I mean how we should try to find Marie?" she asked.

Spadamon looked up at Fanny from where she held him close to her chest. "Maybe we could try to locate her on your digivices." He suggested.

Jason nodded. "That's a great idea!" he said enthusiastically. He held up his wrist to reveal his new digivice which looked similar to Riley's new model digivice.

Jason digivice was a watch it was dark orange with a yellow v in the middle of the watch face. He clicked an app in the middle of the screen. Which I guessed must have been the map app.

Jason grinned turned to a frown. "That's weird, the map was working perfectly fine but none of the other digivices are picking up on my map. It was working fine yesterday but today I am getting no signal. Even for you guys I can't see them at all." He inform us.

Amanda held up her wrist and started to click ups quickly. "That is strange even on my digivice, I get the same thing. I can't even fix it." She mumbled. She looked at the rest of us expecting for someone else to come up with an answer for the malfunctions.

Jeffrey coughed and rubbed his shoulder. "Maybe someone is sending out an interference to our digivices which is causing the problem to our digivices.

Elizabeth nodded. "That could be it, someone might have found out that Marie ran away and is thinking if we can't find her that we won't be able to save her. If they think that then they are planning to kill her." She said sadly.

I shake my head. "I don't think that someone knew that Marie ran away. I think that they knew about our apps on our digivices. They don't want us to split up and now where the others our if we plan to invade the camp again." I suggested.

Amanda eyes grew wide. "That could be the true reason, they don't want us to do something like that." She whispered.

Reymon slowly floated away from Zen's back and whispered. "How should we try to find Marie if they messed with the app?" he asked. "And what happens if that is not the only app they messed with. What happens if they messed with the digivoulation app?"

Miragemon looked at the others worried looks but shake her head. "I don't think they would be able to mess with that certain app." She said.

Phemon nodded to agree with her. "You have to remember back when we were the legends, we made your digivices by the power of the elements you all posse. I think we made some strong firewalls in that department." He answered. Phemon looked around and still saw our uneasy looks. The phoenix sighed and looked at James. "There is only one way to find out."

James nodded and held out his fists. Fire engulfed his fists. He held up his wrist. "Digivice! Fire charge!" he yelled. He slammed his hand against his digivice center.

Fire went inside his digivice and started to collect in the center of the watch. Fire zoom out of the watch and hit Phemon.

"Phemon fire charge Digivolve too...Blazemon!" he shouted.

The champion level phoenix looked down at us.

This caused all of us to get comfort from the digivoulation.

"Well at least we know that still works." Jiwon whispered happily.

Amanda snapped her fingers. "I got it, I found these digivices inside the house and see if I could fix them. I know their pretty old but I thought I could see if they would work. Amanda open her purse to pull out two ancient looking military edition walkie talkies. She clicked them on and handed one to Riley.

"If we split up in two groups we can be able to find Marie quicker. Also lets test it real quick." She announced. Amanda held the send button and took a deep breath before she said. "Testing, one two."

Her voice came from the other walkie talkie.

Riley grinned. "It works, good thinking Amanda."

Crystal turned on her heels. "Sure she makes good ideas." She muttered angrily.

"So how are we going to split the groups up?" Zen asked so the argument wouldn't continue.

Jason rubbed his chin. "Why don't the guys go near the camp, Marie may think that the base could be around there. Also we could try to see if we could savage any more supplies while were there." He suggested.

Crystal nodded. "Fine then the girls will go to the center of town and see if we can find Marie there." She muttered.

Riley walked over to Crystal and put his hand on her shoulder.

Crystal looked at him angrily. She looked ready to start yelling again.

"Crystal I am worried about you, I do not want you to get hurt. When the others told me about the time you fell off the building to save Glaciamon. My heart nearly stopped. I should have been there. I don't know how my life would be without you." He whispered.

Crystal looked surprised but she quickly changed that when she hugged him. "I am sorry, I shouldn't have gotten mad."

James scratch his chin. "Well know that is fixed what now?" he asked.

Goamon answered. "Someone has to stay behind to protect the others at this house, we can't leave it untended.

James and Phemon looked at each other and nodded. "We can handle the fort here." James said.

Elizabeth walked over to James and hugged him. "Please be careful." She said with a quietly.

James hugged her back. "You too."

Miragemon crossed her arms. "You better not screw anything up Phemon."

Phemon nodded. "I won't"

The groups wished the other good luck, while James and Phemon went back inside the house.

(Unknown location, No P.O.V.)

In a poorly lit room, tables could be seen overturn on their sides. Paper littered the floor, books were thrown across the room. A human man in a Marine Corps uniform was shown with a surprised look, he was lying on the ground in a heap. Blood covered his chest and face, the man looked dead.

Across the area other humans were shown in military uniform who underwent the same faith as the other solider.

They were covered in blood, dead and lifeless. Some of them were losing limbs, arms, feet, hands, and even in some cases heads.

Laughter could be heard. The scene changes to a dark room where computers were lighting the room. In a rolling chair was Shadow dragon himself. The humanoid dragon was typing away in code. He was smirking as messages pop onto the screen as he continue writing away on the screen.

A bloody sword lay on the desk next to him.

The dragon began to laugh once more. "Oh those screams have brought joy to me." The dragon looked down at the blade. "Oh their look of terror just made me want to kill all so much more. Humans have so much guts. I should kidnap a few, just to have some fun in a while.

Humans think that if they don't give up, that they can accomplish anything but they are wrong. Like how easily it was for digimon to take over Earth. I am going to do something even worse."

The dragon plugged in a flash drive to the high tech computer and click on one of the files.

With that one click a countdown appeared on the screen. It read five hours, thirteen minutes and five seconds left.

The dragon smirked showing his razor sharp teeth. Blood drip down his silver teeth slowly. The dragon got up and held up a small mirror in his hands.

"High chandler, another step to Earth's destruction has been completed. Now we just have to wait for the countdown to come to zero. Let's watch the digidestineds stop this. Everyone they love will die."

High chandler's voice came from the other side of the mirror with a slow breath chilling voice. "That is great news Shadow dragon. Report back, for your next assignment."

Shadow dragon sighed and pocketed the mirror in a pocket in his armor. He looked back at a human body on the floor. To his surprise the women was slowly moving towards the computer. Blood covered her body. Her legs was twisted and broken but she still tried to move to the computer to try to stop the countdown.

Her brown hair was soak in her blood, her eyes was covered in tears. Her navy uniform was ripped and she still move slowly across the floor, dragging herself closer to the computer. "You can't do this. "She said in a choking voice.

Shadow dragon grinned. "You should have played dead girly." He chuckled as he went down on one knee.

He reached for her arm and drag her body towards himself. This send pain through the women's body which caused her to scream a blood curly scream.

The dragon held her closer to him, so she could be eye level with him. "I am going to have a fun time with you, and we have five hours of play time. What should we do first?" he asked as he pulled a knife from his pocket and slowly started to cut her cheek.

"Please stop!" she sobbed as she tried to push herself away from him

'Why should I? You humans have caused so much pain to the digital world. You have affected our world with viruses. I even watch you plague the world, which almost wipe out every single digimon." He shouted in her face.

The women started to sob uncontrollably. "Please! Please don't hurt me. I am so sorry, I was force to do so, and I have already watch my husband and my kids die to your kind. Please don't kill me."

The dragon started to make hushing noses. "Don't worry sweat heart, I will make sure I make our time together long and most painful way possible for you. Don't you worry, your family will be glad to see you again." He chuckled as he slowly brought down to her again.

Laughter was heard as screams were heard outside the military base.

(Cody's Pov)

I was walking behind the group. Keeping up with Panthemon pace. I didn't understand why no digimon was sighting us out in the open.

Riley, Jason, Jeffrey, Zen, muself and our digimon were walking through town. Buildings lay in heaps. A few buildings were on fire, there were no sign of life anywhere.

Goamon looked around for any signs of any enemy digimon. "Hmm this doesn't feel right at all. We should keep on guard." He whispered.

Ariomon scoffed. "Keep your gloves on puppy, nothing spooky is going to jump out at us."

I wished that the Pegasus words were true but meeting the actual devil a couple of days ago, creep me out.

I didn't want to be out here at all but I wanted to find Marie, I didn't want her to get hurt. If she did get hurt or even killed, I would blame myself. I should have heard her leaving the house in the middle of the night. If I did I would have probably would have been able to stop her from running away.

Panthemon turned his head toward Ariomon. "Why are you always so negative?" he asked in a teasing voice.

Ariomon shrugged. "It's my job, to bring sadness to those with happiness in their hearts."

Jeffrey rolled his eyes at his digimon comment and sighed. "Do you really have to do that though?" he asked

Ariomon looked at him like he was a moron. "Yes."

Zen was walking next to Jason of course both of them were talking quietly as they looked around town. Occasionally they would laugh at a comment that either of them would say.

Coronamon and Reymon followed behind their tamers, both of them still didn't look that thrilled that there tamers were dating.

Reymon levitated peacefully in the air. He looked like he was trying to make the best of the predicament though. The ghost dog looked at Coronamon and asked. "When do you think we will be able to find Marie and Lunamon?"

The lion cub was about to answer him but Riley did a quick turn on his heels to face Zen. "Hey wait a second cant your dog sniff Marie out?' he asked hopefully.

Riley was quickly pulling something out of a backpack that he brought along for the journey. He pulled out a pink scurf that must have belong to Marie.

Riley was walking over to Reymon with a determine look.

Reymon slowly flouted away from Riley. "Riley... I don't think... I will be able too." He stuttered

"Come on Reymon! You have to help me find my sister!" he shouted angrily trying to catch up to Reymon. He was now running after him trying to put the scurf under the dog's nose.

Zen stepped in front of Riley. "Leave him alone, he said that he can't sniff people out that way. I know that you're scared Riley, you don't want Marie to get hurt. I know how you would feel, I have no clue what is going on with my little brother right now. He was visiting my grandparents, so I don't even know if he is still alive. You just have to keep calm and hope for the best." He said with a stern look.

Riley was about to say something back to Zen but stopped when Reymon suddenly tensed up. The ghost fox slowly turned to a corner street, which a sign read, Orange Street. A hissing sound could be heard in that direction, and it wasn't a small hiss, it caused vibrations around the whole block.

Reymon was barring his fangs and he was holding up his paws. The ghost looked ready to fight anything that was about to come around the corner.

Reymon wasn't the only digimon that was tensed up by the incoming digimon. I could see all the other digimon looked ready to fight as well.

Ariomon was leaning down in a jaguar attack position. Her body laying close to the ground, her eyes were wide waiting for any sign of the enemy.

Coronamon fangs were bared similar to Reymon. The flames that was coming from his metal head cover and wrist bands was shooting out a huge blast of fire.

Goamon looked like he was shock, the dog digimon looked like he couldn't move due to him concentrating too much on the target.

And Panthemon was also in a tense fashion. The tiger digimon was on all fours, his fangs bared and his green eyes flaring.

"Panthemon what's wrong?" I asked my partner quietly. I was really getting worried. I just realized something. If we ran into a digimon sovereign we were screwed.

Elizabeth, Crystal and James are the only ones that could correction evolve so far and it seems like they are the only ones that could take on the sovereigns.

I knew that Riley and Jason do a merge digivoulation with their digimon as well but it is called a biomerge digivoulation. And he believes that it might be weaker to the correction digivoulation for some reason.

Panthemon started to growl in a low tone. "You all better get ready, this guy has the same scent as RagingmMinotaurmon and Weedramon."

My eyes grew wide, if that was true then we were about to fight another of the digimon sovereign's tamien generals.

Hissing laughter filled the streets now. A low hissing male voice was heard throughout the group. "Oh what did I find here?" it asked himself. "Are thesse sssome of the digidestineds, Baihumon sssaid look for yawl?"

Slowly a giant snake appeared from the other side of the building. The snake had to be fifteen feet tall and fourteen feet width. That snake was huge. Silver amour covered its body. A golden helmet covered some of its face. His red eyes peered though peek holes in the helmet. At the end of the snake's tail was a giant stinger glowing a dark red.

"Jeffrey now!" Ariomon shouted towards him.

We all nodded and held up our wrists.

"Digivice!" Jeffrey, Zen, and I yelled

The three of us turned into digital data as we all started to scream in pain from the power that raced through our veins all at once.

I raised my green digital hand and slammed it over his digivice. "Soul charge! Hall of fame!" I shouted.

"Panthemon soul charge Digivolve too...BanchoTigremon" the tiger digimon roared.

"Ariomon soul charge Digivolve too...Gaeamon" the ultimate giggled as she danced around in the yellow light.

"Reymon soul charge Digivolve too... Grimmon!" he whispered gravely as he held up his scythe.

Riley held his wrist above his face and yelled. "Biomerge activate!"

Riley and Goamon were engulfed by a sphere of blue data.

"Gaomon biomerge Digivolve too... Miragegaogamon!" he roared as he broke from the sphere of light.

Jason grinned as he looked down at Coronamon. "Our turn!" he shouted. Jason held up his wrist, he moved it over his chest and shouted. "Biomerge digivoulation activate."

An orange sphere of digital data engulfed Jason and Coronamon.

"Coronamon biomerge Digivolve too..." Coronamon slowly levitated slowly floated down towards Jason. Suddenly fire covered the two of them. Suddenly a giant figure appeared from the center of the flames. He was about seven feet tall. He wore dark orange amour, also orange legs. Above his chest amour was a red chest plate. On his knee pads were yellow spikes. From the tips of his orange boots was yellow metal claws. Dark orange gloves were lit from fire burning from the center of his metal gear. The figure face was covered by a helmet of a lion. Long blonde hair fell past his shoulders and fell all the way towards his legs. On his shoulders pads was two pieces of metal which connected to form a wing shape above his head. Floated in the middle of the wing shapes is a small piece of metal in the shape the sun. The figure let out a huge roar and his body suddenly burst into flames. He spin quickly on his feet and shouted. "Apollomon!" The metal piece in the middle of the wing pieces created a sphere of fire.

The tamien digimon hissed in delight. "Oh you all think that you have a chance against me." The snake slowly started to slighter over to the group. His tail was raised high in the air ready to strike any of us.

Riley's and Gaomon's voices were heard from Miragegaogamon in unison. "Attack!"

In the blur Miragegaogamon, Apollomon, Grimmon, BanchoTigremon and Gaeamon disappeared in a mist and reappeared in front of the snake.

Miragegaogamon raised his metal claws above his head and quickly started to cut through the air. "Double crescent mirage!" With blinding speed yellow pieces of light was seen appearing in the air when he sliced through the air.

Apollomon gathered fire in his gloved paws and raised it above his head towards the glowing ball of energy that levitated behind his head. The two energies combine and the beams of energy seem to glow as bright as the sun. "Sun ball blast!" The orb of sunlight flew from behind his back and slammed into the digital snake along with the slices of the crescent moons.

The snake turned quickly and faced the attackers. "Time to face your own medicine." He hissed. His tail instead of glowing a dark red changed into an ugly violet. "Poisons disappear." He hissed. He sliced his tip of his tail into the air and aimed for Apollomon and Miragegaogamon.

The two mega level digimon were able to miss the snake attempt from stabbing the two of them. But the snake had other ideas instead of bringing his tail back down and trying to try again. He turned his tail around in midair and sliced the two of them in the back.

Apollomon and Miragegaogamon shouted out in pain. Both of them seemed to have been poisoned. The two mega level digimon fell to the ground and turned back into their original forms. Riley and Goamon seemed to still be paralyzed and awake. The two of them were still trying to fight the snake. Jason and Coronamon on the other hand were passed out on the ground sprawled out.

Zen raced over to the four of them. "Hold on!"

The snake laughed and tried to slice Zen with his tail.

Grimmon appeared in front of Zen just in time with his scythe out in front of him blocking the blow of the tail.

Zen noticed what was happening and looked between his digimon and the four injured. I would have had the same problem. I wouldn't have known who to go after.

Grimmon barred his fangs but he was still able to talk to Zen through them. "Go help them." He grunted.

The tamien level digimon was able to knock Grimmon off his feet and he prepared to strike the ultimate level digimon.

Gaeamon and BanchoTigremon had appeared in front of their comrade.

BanchoTigremon had his paws together tightly as a circulation wind gathered in his paws. "Hurricane driver!" he roared.

Gaeamon at the same time had her hands together as a giant rose covered her palms of her hand. "Flower charge!" she screamed.

The blast of wind and the blast of yellow light combine and slammed into the snake forehead.

The Tamien level digimon snake digimon hissed in annoyance. "I will not be tricked by pests as ultimate level digimon."

I bawled my fists and shouted angrily. "Go for the eyes! Go for the eyes BanchoTigremon!" I instructed.

BanchoTigremon roared as jumped from the destroyed streets onto the snake digimon. He ran along the snake's body and was racing for the snake's head.

The snake felt BanchoTigremon on his back and tried to buck him off. The snake would jump up and down quickly to try to knock the tiger ultimate digimon off of him.

Gaeamon laughed at the snake's attempts to knock the tiger digimon off of him. "Well let's see if we can calm your nerves, shall we?" she asked aloud. She held out her hands and vines erupted from the ground. The vines would wrap around the snake's body to hold him tightly to the ground.

The snake snarled when he felt the vines wrapped around his body, he would slither and move around the ground to not only to continue to try knock BanchoTigremon and to get the vines off of his body.

Gaeamon was still holding her hands up tightly trying her best to keep the vines wrapped around the snake. Sweat covered her body as she continue her attempts in trying to keep him in place. "Come on get him already!" she shouted in anger.

Grimmon seem to be already get enough rest from the last attack he got hit with. The grim reaper got up and held his scythe tightly in his paws. Darkness was beginning to cover his eyes and his paws. "Shadow grip!" he snarled darkness erupted from his paws making a huge paw of darkness to appear in the air. The paw gripped the snake forehead tightly, which caused the snake to stay in place.

BanchoTigremon was able to get enough speed time from the other two ultimate digimon holding him off. BanchoTigremon smiled as he was on top of the snake digimon head. He jumped in front of the snake and held his paws up showing his claws. He slashed them across the snake eyes.

The snake digimon screamed in agony, blood trailed down from his face. 'You ssshall all pay! I will kill you all!" he hissed angrily.

I threw my fist in the air. My plan was working now that the snake was blinded there was no way it could see us now. "Okay guys you can take him out now!" I shouted happily.

Gaeamon giggled. "That is good news." She lowered her hands away from the air and the vines that was wrapped around the snake's body removed themselves. "You all may want to cover your ears." She warned with a playful smile.

I watched as his friends Jeffrey, Zen, Riley and Gaomon who were having the most trouble with moving his body but he was still able to move his hands to be able to cover his ears. Jason on the sad hand wasn't able to along with Cororanmon.

But Grimmon quickly changed that by using his shadow grip to cover both of those two ears.

The snake started to laugh, he couldn't see any of them but he was laughing outrageously. "You ssshouldn't have releasssed me but fine if you all want to die go ahead." He hissed.

Jeffrey rolled his eyes at the snake's comment. "Let it rip Gaeamon!" he shouted over his lungs.

Gaeamon grinned and started to scream at the top of her lungs. "Call of agony!"

The whole area to seem to shake from Gaeamon's scream. Rubble and buildings shook from the powerful vibrations. Only a few seconds later a building had enough of the rubble of vibration, and it toppled over, the building crashed into the snake causing it to be sent under huge debris.

We all shouted in joy. "You guys did it!" I cheered. I started to run over to BanchoTigremon to congratulate him but stopped when the tiger held up his paw to stop me from coming any closer.

Gaeamon and Grimmon also seemed to be on edge too, the three ultimate level digimon got closer together and started to walk over to the debris. The three of them looked at one another and nodded.

"It's time to finish him off." Grimmon exclaimed.

The other two nodded to agree with him.

Grimmon held up his scythe, darkness started to cover his scythe. The darkness seemed to vibrate powerfully. "Deadly scythe!" he roared. The ultimate digimon slashed in the air. A huge cut of darkness appeared in the air.

Gaeamon held the palms of her hands together as a rose started to grow around them. "Flower charge!" she shouted. She let out a blast of yellow light.

BanchoTigremon put his palm of his hands together and barred his fangs together as wind started to collect in the center of his paws. "Hurricane mayhem!" he snarled.

A huge hurricane appeared in front of the three ultimate's, the blast of yellow light seem to cause the hurricane to flow with yellow light, with the cut of darkness, the hurricane grew dark cutters around the wind. The blast of wind slammed into the debris, destroying the rubble in an instant.

The three ultimate seem to be proud with their work. All three of them turned on their heels and started to walk over to check on us but none of them had the chance to.

The snake's digimon had appeared from a huge chunk out of the ground. The snake must have dug under the ground to get out of the debris and to escape the attack.

The snake digimon slammed the back of its tail into the three digimon individually.

The three digimon appeared in front of us in their rookie form.

I went on my knees quickly to check on Panthemon. "Are you okay?" I asked worriedly.

The snake was laughing lowly as he slithered towards us. "You sssee you may have taken my sssight but you do realize that I can still find where you are by sssmelling you."

Jeffrey looked up at the snake angrily as he held Ariomon's head in his arms to make sure she was okay. "There is nothing we can do." He whispered as he bawled his fists.

I was wishing that u could correction evolve but looking down at my emblem at the end of his necklace, I knew for one hundred percent sure that it wasn't glowing.

Zen had ran over to pick up Reymon. "Guys we can't give up!" he shouted.

Riley and Gaomon both seem to agree with him but both of them being paralyzed didn't really help them any from fighting anymore.

"Pulse Cannon!" a voice shouted from behind the group. A blast of purple light shot from over the head of us.

The beam of purple light slammed into the snake's face causing the snake to fly back suddenly into a small standing building causing some debris to make it get caught in his trap.

A voice was heard from behind the us. "If you guys want to live, I would recommend following me." A male voice said.

I turned on my heels with a passed out Panthemon in his arms. When i turned i saw a figure in a purple cloak covering his face.

Zen was able to get help from Jeffrey with picking up Rikey and Gaomon to their feet. When the two were standing the two seemed to be able to move on their own but they still seem to have some paralysis left over.

When that was done, Zen put Reymon on his shoulder and picked up Jason in his arms in a bridal carry.

While Jeffrey put Coronamon on his shoulder and picked up Ariomon in his arms.

The cloak figure nodded and quickly started to run through an alley. I looked between my friends uneasy faces but was the first one to run after him.

When I did that I known that the group would run after me, it wouldn't be that smart for us to get split up even more with a tamien digimon slithering around the area. My plan did work because I did hear the pitter patter of heavy footsteps behind me.

I noticed the figure stop for a second and turn around on his heels to stare at me for a second and I put a finger to my lips.

I put my arms up to stop my friends behind me.

My friends took the hint and stopped running.

I moved a little closer to the figure and looked to the side of the alley to see a group of digimon hulling a few humans into the back of a moving truck. From the sight of them they were crying and begging to be let go from the digimon.

After a few minutes and some panic of thinking of that snake digimon finding us standing in one location for so long. The digimon closed the back of the moving truck lid and got into the front of the truck and drove off.

The figure looked left and then right and then motion for him and the others to follow him. "This way." He instructed in a whisper.

My friends and I followed after the figure when I took off. After running throw discarded empty streets and alleys. We came up to a small warehouse. I figure I open the door for my friends.

I rushed into the warehouse, along with my friends. Once inside I made out the small space. A small sleeping bag was right next to a window. Boxes littered the whole place. Food from what look like they were stolen from a supermarket.

I put Panthemon on one of the free boxes that wasn't crowded with boxes. Jeffrey and Zen mimic me with their own digimon, including Coronamon.

The figure told Zen that he could put Jason in the sleeping bag for him to be able to rest.

Zen moved over to the sleeping bag and with help from Jeffrey both of them were able to slide Jason into the bag.

"Thank you so much." I whispered.

Jeffrey nodded. "We don't even want to think what would happen if you didn't show up when you did, thanks so much whoever you are."

The figure snickered, and was about to talk when Riley was finally able to break out some of his paralysis. And say through gritted teeth. "How can we even trust you, who the hell are you?" he asked.

The figure moved his hood back to show that he was no other than Dylan. One of the digidestinied who used to work for Azulongmon along with Amanda and Jeffrey.

'But you guys do know me." He laughed. "I haven't seen you guys in a while." He teased as he sat on top of a box. "How have you guys been?"

(Safe house, James P.O.V)

I was resting on one of the arm chairs in the middle of the living room. I was worrying about Elizabeth and the others. I knew that all communications on the digivices were down, I wished I could call Elizabeth at this moment and checked on her.

I didn't know what I would do with myself if I heard that she was dead. I almost lost her once, and I didn't want to lose her ever again.

Phemon who was sitting on my shoulder was checking on the other people who was sating in the safe house. I was pretty much people watching. I was smiling as I watched family and friends talking.

Even in times of war people still knew how to control themselves and be able to stand together.

I sat up when I noticed my mother and my friend's parents heading over to me.

Crystal's mom coughed to get my attention, she must have thought that I didn't see her walking up to me.

"James do you know where Crystal and the others are?" she asked worriedly. "She wasn't where she usually hangs out, do you know where she could be?"

Zen's farther and mother nodded. "Zen wasn't where he hangs out with Jason in the day as well."

Cody's father and Ms. Isabella nodded in unison. "Cody wasn't in the kitchen cooking in the morning."

"And Amanda wasn't in the den working on her laptop." The two said in unison.

I knew that my mom was checking my face for any hint of a lie. If I made one false move she could tell a lie a mile away. I had to take care with what I said to her.

I notice Fanny's dad walking over as well. I could either tell a lie and get all the parents to lose trust in me or I could tell the truth. There wasn't really anything they could do now to stop my friends from what they're doing.

I took a deep sigh and sat straight up before I talked. "Before I tell you where they went, I want to tell you that there is a reason, so leave your mad comments and questions for the end." I instructed.

I then continue when I notice that none of the parents made no answer or asked any questions.

"They all split up, the guys went one way and the girls the other. They are looking for Marie because she ran away last night. She thought she could take down Baihumon alone after Rikey and Jason said that it was a bad idea for all the tamers to take him own a this moment in time. They split up because they thought they could cover more ground and be able to find Marie quicker. At the moment I have no idea where they are." I notice a few concern looks across the adult's faces but decided to continue before they try to talk over me.

"You have to realize that even though we are still kids we can still take care of ourselves. We handled tougher digimon before and we were able to come out on top. I decided to stay behind at the safe house because I don't want any digimon to come around and try attacking it." I explained in the best way possible.

Ms. Isabella sat on an open chair with a hand over her forehead. "Oh gosh Amanda is out there, she could get hurt or even killed." She whispered.

The other parents started to act in a similar fashion. They all look depressed and worried for their children.

The only person who didn't look worried was his mother. "You all need to calm yourselves." She said over the other parents. "You all know your kids, and I have meet all of them. And knowing them, they don't give up. They work together and solve a plan to win and protect each other. So you should all calm down now and just wait to see them come through that front door with Marie right behind them. "She said inspirationally.

The other parents began to smile.

"There is the same confidence I remember from you Jennifer." Zen farther laughed.

Cody's dad nodded to. "It was so weird to see you change to be so quiet and so helpful all the time, when we went to the digital world you were the loudest of us all. You were always hopeful and would never back then in a fight."

As the parents took a walk through memory lane, I saw my mother giving me the look for me to walk away so they wouldn't ask me any other questions.

I quickly walked away with Phemon on my shoulder.

Phemon rubbed the back of his neck with his wing. "Gosh that was hectic."

Floramon and Palmon. The digimon partners of Abigale, my old neighbor, and Floramon was partnered with that three year old girl Katie that Crystal was taking care of at the moment.

The two plant digimon looked worried.

"Hey Palmon, Floramon what's wrong?" I asked.

Phemon nodded. "You both act like you've seen a ghost, or is Abigale and Katie hurt?" he asked worriedly.

Palmon shake her head. "We don't know Abigale, Crystal's sister Ruby, and Katie were playing a game around the kitchen area. Nothing bad happen but Amanda's laptop started to beep like crazy. We never heard anything like it." She whispered as she put both of her hands together as she talked.

Floramon nodded. "So Lopmon, Palmon and I decided to check what the problem was. We thought maybe Amanda's power was low on the laptop so we decided to look at it. When we saw it..." the plant digimon gulped and whipped tears away from her face.

Palmon was beginning to cry as well. "It's too hard to explain James, you have to see it for yourself." She sobbed.

Phemon and I exchanged looks. "What do you think it is?' he asked the phoenix digimon.

Phemon shrugged. "I have no clue, let's just check it out." He suggested.

I nodded and started to walk after the two plant digimon.

"I really hope this isn't a gruesome looking picture of our friends because I don't know what I would do if I saw that." He said in a hushed voice so no one could hear his worriedness.

I patted the bird on the head. "Don't worry, are friends would not die on us. Defiantly Miragemon, she would slap you on the side on the head, if she heard that you were worrying about her like that." I teased.

Phemon smiled some from this. "Your right."

Palmon lead us into the kitchen area where Abigale, Ruby and Katie were still playing a game of tag, Lopmon was checking out Amanda's laptop.

"It won't stop.' Lopmon whispered sadly as she shake her head. Tears could also be seen in the bunny's eyes as well.

I walked over to the computer to check out what the problem was. All I could see was a countdown ticking down. It read four hours, thirty two minutes and fifty two seconds. I scratch my head and notice a message at the bottom.

Try as you might, your world is doom. Earth will be no more sooner then you may think. Destruction from your own weapons will happen in only a few more hours. I shadow dragon have taken control of all nuclear weapons in the world and I am going to destroy everything.

My eyes suddenly grew wide. I couldn't believe what I was reading. The whole Earth was going to die, everyone was going to die.

Millions of thoughts rushed between my head but I couldn't come up with a solution. I wasn't a hacker, I didn't know how to stop the countdown.

Only if Amanda was here maybe she could have stopped this from happening. I didn't even know who Shadow dragon was, who the hell is this guy, is he a human, a digimon? A human working for Azulongmon. Whoever he is, he is going to kill millions upon millions of people.

Phemon coughed to get my attention. "James the only thing I can think of is, that we do an evacuation to the digital world. If we can do that no one will need to die." He suggested.

I nodded. "That sounds like a great idea." He walked in the middle of the house. "Listen everyone I know there is nothing I am about to say that will keep you calm but as of this moment the entire Earth is going to get destroyed by nuclear missiles. The only way of evacuation that I can think of is escaping to the digital world. This is the only way I think we wall can survive."

(Cody's P.O.V)

I sat on top of a box next to where Panthemon lay passed out. The tiger's digimon belly slowly raised up and down. Which gave me comfort knowing that my friend was still alive.

After Dylan revealed who he was Rikey went on a complete rant, of shouting curse words, and insults. He did not trust Dylan at all. He knows about what Dylan did to us and what he did to other digimon. And because Dylan never help us in the fight against Azulongmon and his troops he deemed him untrustworthy.

Gaomon agreed with his tamer one hundred percent. The dog digimon didn't like how Dylan always seem to be around evil digimon, and it was such a coincidence that he just showed up.

Zen was sitting next to Jason on the floor. Zen was wishing that Jason would wake up at any time now, with what it look like to me.

Jeffrey on the other hand was keeping an eye on the other digimon and how we were doing.

And with how much Riley and Gaomon were moving it looked like the paralysis wore off.

Dylan sighed after a few minutes. "You know it's kind of annoying that you keep on walking back and forth." He mumbled.

Riley instantly turned in Dylan's direction angrily. "Shut the hell up!' he snarled bawling his fists.

I held up my hands. "Riley calm down as far as I can tell, he is not our enemy right now. We should be worrying about how Jason is doing. "He instructed.

Riley sighed and nodded to agree with him.

Jeffrey looked down at the backpack that lay in the middle of the floor which held the old military walkie talkie.

Jeffrey look like he too wanted to check on his girlfriend. He must be worrying about Amanda. "Jeffrey you don't have to worry about Amanda the others are there with her as well." I comfort him.

Zen smiled. "Cody's right, and besides Riley I know you hate Dylan's guts, and believe me I hate them too. But there is no point in leaving this place. We have to wait for Jason to wake up, along with the other digimon. If we try to move them it might even make it worse for them. If in a few hours they are still like this, we will call the girls for backup." He suggested.

Rikey groaned and sat on one of the boxes as well. "I guess your right but..." Riley turned his attention on Dylan now. A stern look was across his face. "I swear if you are lying to us and you're still working for Azulongmon. I swear if you hurt any of my friends here I will kill you personally. I don't care if you are human like us. You will not hurt people who I care about." He growled threatening him.

Dylan rolled his eyes. "Fine, you have my word."

Suddenly there was a tiny knock at the window warehouse. Dylan crossed the room to open the window for a mechanical spider digimon to climb through. His digimon partner Speedemon.

Speedemon look like he smiled up at Dylan. "I was able to take care of Slizormon, he will be trapped in my webbing for a few hours, so we don't have to worry about the snake for a few hours." He informed his tamer.

Dylan grinned. "That is good to know, good job Speedemon." He said patting the spider digimon on top of his head.

Riley sighed and looked away from Dylan and the spider digimon. He looked down at his digivices and started to check his apps.

I decided to check my own. "I wonder how long we are going to stay here Panthemon." I whispered as I looked down at my partner.

Elizabeth looked up into the sky. 'Miragemon do you ever think Earth will ever be the same?" she asked.

looked down at the ground. "I don't know." She whispered sadly

Elizabeth sighed. "When I see digimon and humans living together peacefully I know that their might be a chance where we can live in harmony." She whispered.

Egaramon flew overhead of the group. "I think I saw Marie and Lunamon they are heading into the park!" she shouted from the sky pointing in the direction of the park.

Marie sighed. "I know I shouldn't have run away, but I don't want anyone else to get hurt anymore because of the sovereigns! We have to stop them now." She said angrily.

Laughter could be heard in the air. "So you all thought you could take on one of the great sovereigns. Of course you have killed one of my brothers but let's see how much fun you will have with a big bad tiger."

Jiwon saw the incoming blast coming for her, Amanda and Fanny. She didn't have any more ideas which came to her mind so she quickly through both her arms out to her sides. To push Amanda and Fanny away from the danger. The blast hit the bottom where she stood and suddenly the ground underneath her cave in and she was falling headfirst to the ground three stories bellow where she saw the spike polls from earlier. She was going to die...
