(James P.O.V.)

I sat on the cool ground. I felt tired. My eyes watched a flame cracking in front of me. The blaze seem to light up my features. I had been thinking about that one faithful day when he woke up to go to the museum with my friends Crystal and Zen but then we were sent to the digital world.

A lot happen sense then and I felt so drain. "Gosh that was so long ago, I hope my mom is okay." I whispered remembing my mother being pulled from the front door by a random protester. I would have hurt that person but Elizabeth held me back and went through the portal.

I sighed as I looked around the small campsite my friends and I made. We all had our own sleeping bags.

Zen slept next to Crystal, the two seem to be snoring the loudest. Which cause me to jump every so often thinking that it was a bear.

Glaciamon was curled up in a ball next to Crystal with her tail covering her face.

Reymon was sleeping upside down from a tree by curling his tail on a limp like he was a possum. The ghost fox would rub his green like nose every so often.

Jiwon slept next to a tree, Egaramon slept above her tamer in a small makeshift nest that she fasten as we started to make up camp.

Amanda was hugging Huitzomon closly to her chest as she slept in her pink sleeping bag.

Jeffrey, my brother was resting his head on Ariomon's side. The winged horse offered her tamer to rest his head on her. So he could have a pillow. Which kind of shocked all of us by the winged horse new kindness.

Cody was sharing his green sleeping bag with Panthemon. The two seem to be sleep talking about playing videogames. " Left, left, right, combo up and down." Cody mumbled as he acted out the movements with a fake controller.

Fanny was sleeping with Spadamon on a log the two fell asleep not moments sitting down on the log.

Elizabeth was resting her head on my chest. The girl had her eyes set and a small small was across her face as she slept.

Miragemon was resting next to Elizabeth sleeping in her sleeping bag.

I decided to take watch. I was told I could tell Cody to take a turn in a while but I decided to just do the whole night.

Phemon was still awake on my shoulder. The bird had his headphones to his ears listening to Hero by Skillet. The bird's eyes were closed as he mummor some lyrics from the song. " I need a hero"

I smiled at the bird. Phemon became a true friend to me. He had changed me so much. The bird became a third brother to me. I had an older brother. Who was actually a child of my mother, and someone she meet in college. Chris was still in college and was trying to get his master degree in engineering.

I hoped my older brother was okay. I knew of the war between Humans and Digimon that was going on at Earth. I didn't know everything about it but I hoped that my brother had found my mother and both of them were doing well.

I rubbed my hand threw Elizabeth's hair. I almost lost her. I felt terrible for her almost dying. I felt like it was my fault for her death but her being able to correction evolve with Miragemon to Gnoweemon saved her life.

I vowed to protect her, I had almost lost someone again for my stupidity.

A memory flashed in my head.

(James seven years old, No P.O.V.)

James raced into his house with a huge grin. He wore a gray t-shirt and brown shorts. The boy had on a blue backpack.

James raced into the living room where he found his four year old brother Jeffrey with a cloth covering his face. He had a spaced out expression and looked a little sick.

His brother stayed home due to him having a flu. " Hey Jeffrey, where is mom?" James asked as he patted his little brother on the shoulder.

Jeffrey turned his gaze slowly away from the TV that was showing Dragon tales to look at his bother. " Mom told me that she went to the store to buy me some medicine." He said slowly.

James groaned sadly. " Mom told me to not to go alone to the park without someone and my friends wanted to hang out with me." He cried as he tossed his backpack on the couch angrily.

Jeffrey slowly got up from the couch and gave him a reassuring smile. " I can go with you, you can go play and i...I can watch." He said slowly after a cough.

James smiled happily and turned off the tv. He helped his brother in his shoes and raced out the door with his brother's hand in his. He remembered to lock the door behind him and they both raced through the path towards the park.

After playing a few rounds of kickball with his friends from school. James heard some shouts of surprise and some screams.

He watched as a girl named Samara pointed out from the group to a crowd of adults. They seem to be surronding a object on the ground.

James raced over to the crowd to see his brother unconscious and no matter how someone shock him he wouldn't wake up.

James only remembered flashes of someone calling a emergency number an two adults taking away his brother on a stretcher. A female doctor ushering him in the ambulance and them arriving in the hospital.

His mother was angry with him. She had tears streaming down her face. " You knew he was sick and he could have died." She screamed before she slapped him across his face.

James remembered crying after that.

His brother was in the hospital for two weeks until he was finally released. I remembered not being happy without seeing him.

But when he was brought in the house he had a sad expression on his face. He held their mother's hand before he looked at his brother. " I am sorry James. I was hoping the whole time in the hospi...tal that you weren't mad at me. I hope you still want to play with me." He whispered.

(Back to the present, James P.O.V)

That day haunted me. I couldn't believe that my brother blamed himself for my poor decision making.

I watched as Phemon turned down his headphones to look over to me. " Dude what's up?" He asked silently so he wouldn't wake anyone.

I looked at the bird and I shrugged my shoulders. " Nothing I was..." I coughed but notice the bird giving me a concern look.

"James you had a far away glaze. Are you feeling okay? Is this about what happen with Elizabeth today?" He asked.

I didn't know what to say. Phemon was right about some of my problems. Some of it was Elizabeth but it was everything. I didn't want anymore of my friends getting hurt because of me.

Phemon poked me on the side of my cheek with his finger. " James if you don't start talking I will open my secrets powers, of thousands arts of annoyance so you better start talking." He warned as he crossed his winged arms together.

I knew that the phoenix digimon was serious so I told him about how I felt about almost losing Elizabeth. How much that affected me and then I told him about how I almost lost my little brother because of my selfish act. "These problems always make me wonder why was I chosen out if everyone else in the world to be the warrior of love. I always make mistakes." I whispered sadly.

Phemon gave me a soft smile. "James you proven time and time again that you are the warrior of love. James you do stuff that people wouldn't even imagine. You have conquer some of your fears and your leading a group of friends into battle which if you weren't here they would probably not do so well." He exclaimed.

I smiled before I wrapped the Phoenix digimon in a hug. The Phoenix hugged me back. " Thanks Phemon your the best." I said happily.

"I hope were not interrupting anything." A voice boom above us. The ground shake at every word spoken.

Phemon and I looked into the sky to see a man levitating in midair. He wore light blue amour, his hair a pure white and so was his beard. His black eyes seem to be filled with pure hatred and anger. The man had dragon like wings that formed on his back. In the man holster that was strapped to his hip was his sword Exculiber. The man grimaced at the tamers and Digimon that started to awake from the sudden outburst.

Ebonwumon was also there he was standing a few paces away from where Azulongmon levitated. The man had his arms crossed and he had a sinister smile as he looked at us.

Phemon snarled "Azulongmon." He bawled his fists. " What on the hell do you want?"

Azulongmon sneered as he crossed his arms over his chest. " You know what I am here for. Children if you give me your elements, crests, and digivices. I will not only spare your lives but I will spare everyone on Earth as well. You will all be able to regain your old life's again. You don't even have to worry about being half digimon because once I destroy the legends I can rewrite your DNA to be one hundred percent human. So what do you say?" He asked.

Ebonwumon cackled. " Yes children what do you say?" He asked

I bawled my fist and greated my teeth. " You can offer us millions of things but it will always be the same answer, no! You started this war between digimon and human alike and we're going to end this!" I shouted angrily.

Elizabeth nodded as she put a hand over her heart. "Your pathitic if you think we're going to change our minds about saving our friends. You allowed a tamer to kill my father and I will never forgive you!" She screamed

Crystal nodded to agree with the rest of us. " Their right I am not going to turn my back on Glaciamon or anyone else, my family, my friends and everyone else who believes we can all defeat you, they are counting on us to kill you. We're not going to take your offer. " She exclaimed angrily.

Glaciamon smiled at her tamer as she wagged her tail.

Ebonwumon shake his head and turned to the other tamers. " Your friends have sealed their faith, what will they rest of you say-"

Ebonwumon was interrupted when Zen shouted. " Shut the hell up dammit, we wouldn't betray are friends. You have affected our life's every sense we were born. Your not going to get away with it." Zen called out.

Cody and Panthemon nodded. " My brother has taught me to never give up, even if the offer for giving up is tempting I should always go after the main goal. I am not ever going to give up. My brother always sits in my heart and I will never let him down." Cody screamed.

Azulongmon shake his head and turned to the rest of the group. He had to move quickly as a blast of static and a blast of moonlight nearly hit him. He looked over to see Jiwon and Fanny holding up their hands with an angry look across their faces.

Jiwon fixed her glasses. " I was born in the digital world, I thought my Guardian was a kind person until I found out he trained me to be a killer and try to make me kill innocent people. But when I meet these people they showed me that the digimon I thought was my guardian was a lair, you instructed him to kill my mother and my father and then he took me away from my true guardian. We will never let you take over the digital world!" She shouted

Fanny grimaced as she stared up at the dragon and turtle sovereigns. " I used to think that no one cared about me. My father thought I was a mistake, and I barly had any true friends but I do now. I will not let them down now."

Azulongmon roared angrily and then turned to Jeffrey and Amanda. " You two, you both used to work by my side. If you rejoin me think about this you could both become a king and Queen in the new world. Don't be fools like your other friends. " He yelled above the harsh words being yelled at him.

Amanda spat at the ground. " You know I used to care about my looks and my cloths over friendship. I used to be a huge bitch but after I meet Elizabeth and saw how she lived an opposite life that I had and was kind and cheerful that made me change. And If I was still that same jerk today I would have lost Huitzomon and I would never found out that Jeffrey cares about me." She said angrily

Jeffrey smiled at her comment and grab her hand. " I think you heard everyone, so either leave us alone or were all going to take you out." He said with a smirk as held up his wrist.

We all mimic him.

Azulongmon sneered. " You have all made my choice fine. I will have to take what I want from you forcefully. Get ready brother." He whispered to Ebonwumon.

My friends and I started to scream out in pain as we turned to our respectful color of data. We held up our digivices up as music started to play.

Crystal and Elizabeth necklaces started to glow a dark blue and pink. Suddenly spears of light covered them and their digimon.

" Soul charge!" We called out.

" Correction digivoulation start." Glaciamon and Miragemon shouted.

" Phemon warp soul charge digivolve too ... Stymphamon." He called out as he held up his pistols.

"Glaciamon correction evolve too ... Khionemon " She whispered as she slowly started to hold her hands in the air.

" Reymon warp soul charge digivolve too ... Grimon " He said gravely as held up his scythe.

" Panthemon warp soul charge digivolve too ... Banchotigremon." He roared as he beat his fist on his chest.

" Miragemon correction evolve too ... Gnoweemon." She called out as she danced in midair.

" Ariomon warp soul charge digivolve too ... Gaeamon." She laughed as she walked forward to face the two sovereigns.

" Hutizomon warp soul charge digivolve too ... Tritonmon." He yelled as he casted a huge wave of water to appear from his triton.

" Egaramon warp soul charge digivolve too ... Shinemon." She exclaimed as she flew into the air and twirled around.

" Spadamon warp soul charge digivolve too ... Saberleomon." He roared as he stretch his wings.

Stymphamon, Gnoweemon, Banchotigremon, Saberleomon and Shinemon stood in front of Azulongmon.

While Khionemon, Grimon, Gaeamon, and Tritonmon stood in front of Ebonwumon.

Azulongmon snickered. " You believe that your digimon can defeat us? Of course Khionemon was successful in killing Zhuqiaomon but he was such a lost cause anyways. Even with the combined power of the legendary sisters won't help you defeat us." He exclaimed as he took out his sword Exculiber.

Ebonwumon cackled as he faced the four digimon in front of him. " Who wants to take me on first?" He asked with a smirk. He pulled out two twin axes of a bag that hung on his shoulder.

Stymphamon flew into the air as he was covered in fire. " We will defeat you like, we did with Zhuqiaomon you shall fall." He yelled. " Burning Mirage." He shouted. He held out his hands and fired a blast of energy at Azulongmon.

Banchotigremon held his hands up as wind started to fly around his muscular arms. " Hurricane Mayhem!" He called out as he sent a hurricane of wind out.

Shinemon held up her staff as static electricity started to crackle at the end of the tip. " Thunder drop." She cried. Suddenly a blast of thunder burst from the the tip of her staff.

Saberleomon roared before his hairs became hard as steel. " Twin fangs." He yelled. Thousands of hairs flew from his mane.

Gnoweemon flew into the air as both of her hands were surronded with dark energy. " Death Wish." She whispered as she blasted out the darkness that was surronded in Stymphamon blast of fire, Shinemon static and Banchotigremon attacks spiral around the combined move. Saberleomon attack was a few seconds behind this attack which struck it's mark true.

Smoke covered the area.

I bawled my fist. " Did that really work?" I asked in disbelief.

Cody shake his head. " I thought he would be a lot tougher." He teased as he rubbed his hand threw his hand.

Suddenly Azulongmon erupted from the smoke and held his sword into the sky. "Rage of the seven dragons." Static crackle at the end of his blade. He strike Gnoweemon in the chest which cause the legend to fall to the ground in pain.

Azulongmon smirked as Shinemon and Saberleomon raced towards him. Both were in flight as static electricity covered their bodies. Azulongmon flew straight back to them. He held Exculiber in his hand lightly as he grew closer to them. The ultimate level digimon were confused when they saw him flying towards them.

Azulongmon disappeared in a flash of light and reappeared in front of Shinemon. This caught the humanoid women to be off guard as Azulongmon cut her across her stomach. Azulongmon then disapeared once more as Saberleomon tried to strike him from behind with his razor sharp claws.

Azulongmon then reappeared behind the winged lion with static electricity covering his body. "Call of thunder." He roared as he stab his blade into Saberleomon back.

This caused the winged lion digimon to fall from the sudden impact and slam into the ground.

Jiwon put a hand around her necklace as she looked at Shinemon with concern. " Shinemon don't give up!" She called out.

Fanny raced towards Saberleomon who was laying slump down against a tent that was set up not moments before. The girl placed her hand on to lion's head. "Please dont." She pleaded.

Saberleomon slowly got up and shake his head. " I have to protect you." He whispered as he started to spread his wings.

Banchotigremon snarled as he faced Azulongmon. He bared his fangs as he pounce into the air. He wrap his arms around Azulongmon. " pildriver." He raored. He slowly started to lean back as he lifted Azulongmon over himself.

Azulongmon was ready for this though. He disappeared into bright static and reappeared behind Banchotigremon. Azulongmon strike the tiger humanoid in the back.

Banchotigremon fell towards the ground but caught himself in a gust of wind. " I am not going out that easy." He snarled.

Stymphamon held up his pistols and pointed them towards the sovereign digimon. " Flame shot." He roared as he fired rounds of bullets which were on fire.

The bullets made their mark in Azulongmon chest. Azulongmon smirked as he faced Stymphamon. " Ah the king of all legends. You still haven't return to your formal self yet it seems." He cackled as he rubbed his forehead.

Stymphamon bared his beak. " Azulongmon you shall not get control over my anger like you did, many years ago. You shall not defeat me. I will win this." He said as he was covered in fire. "Burning Mirage." He called out.

Azulongmon laughed as Stymphamon flew towards him like a comet of fire. Azulongmon suddenly was engulfed in blue electricity. " Raging dragon." He raored.

The two fought back and forth. Striking one another back and forth. Azulongmon would slash out with his sword. While Stymphamon would fire bullets at the dragon. The two powerful digimon were a blur of blue and red light.

I held onto my crown emblem at the end of my necklace. " Come on Stymphamon you got this." I whispered but I knew that one of these attacks that Stymphamon will make will be a extreme mess up and I would be in trouble.

Gnoweemon slowly got up from where she had fallen and flew back into the air. She didn't seem in any pain at all. She raised her sword Miracle. " It's time to pay the price for your evil Azulongmon." She exclaimed. Pink light engulfed her as her sword started to glow a bright white. " Sword of Faith." She whispered as she slash Azulongmon in the chest, arms and legs.

Azulongmon was thrown back from Gnoweemon, Stymphamon who was holding his left shoulder were blood and red data started to slowly pour out, Banchotigremon was flouting in a small green cyclone, Shinemon flew slowly next to Gnoweemon. And Saberleomon flew right behind them.

(Ebonwumon fight)

"Forest frenzy." Ebonwumon shouted as he held out his gloved hand in the air to prevent Khionemon and Grimon from getting any closer to him.

Trees and vines burst from the ground. The trees stopped Khionemon from moving anymore. While Grimon was tied down from his wrist and ankles with vines.

Ebonwumon laughed as he watched as Grimon started to yell in pain from the vines pulling on his arms and legs. It looked like the vines were trying to rip him apart.

Ebonwumon was laughing so much he didn't notice Tritonmon and Gaeamon running towards him from the behind.

Gaeamon held up her wrist as she put them both together a rose grew around them. " Flower charge!" She shouted as a blast of yellow energy blasted from the center of the rose.

Tritonmon held up his trident in the air as a blast of water appeared in front of his outstretched hand. The rush of water plowed into Ebonwumon along with the blast of yellow energy.

Ebonwumon barred his teeth in anger as he turned around to face the two ultimate level digimon. " Oh so you both want pay back from me attacking you? Huh? " He asked as he held up his gloved hands. A crack in the earth open up and a huge spike of Earth flew from the ground and was hurtled towards Gaeamon.

Tritonmon notice it was about to strike her but pushed her out of the way and took the full attack.

Amanda watch as Tritonmon fell back in pain from the spike of Earth that hit him square in the chest. The girl put a hand over her mouth in surprise. " Keep on fighting Tritonmon I believe in you!" She cried out.

Tritonmon pulled out the piece of Earth that was peirce into his chest. He threw against the ground and moved slowly on the ground as he slither with his merman tail.

Gaeamon had a look of terror before when she saw Tritonmon take the attack for her but she got up from the ground where she was pushed and walked towards Tritonmon side. " Let's fight as one." She announced to him.

Ebonwumon bawled his fist as he slowly walked towards them.

"Raining ice." Khionemon howled.

" Deadly scythe." Grimon shouted grimly.

Ebonwumon was hit behind from a blast of raining ice spikes and a blast of dark energy.

He looked around slowly as the three ultimates and one legendary digimon slowly started to close on him.

(Back to the fight with Azulongmon)

Cody rolled his eyes as Azulongmon bragged the fifth time about being stronger than us all and powerful than the legends. " Can't that guy shut up?" He asked me.

I wasn't really listening to Cody. I was really more worried about Elizabeth who was Gnoweemon right now. I wished I could correction evolve with Phemon so I could be right beside her and fight along with her.

Fanny and Jiwon were trying to come up with a plan. " I don't know what should we do. Even when we all group up together to fight this guy we still have not enough power to fight this guy. What do we do Jiwon?" She asked as looked towards the other group.

Jiwon looked flustered for a second. "We have to go back to Earth." She exclaimed. Which cause even me to look back at her with shock.

Earth was run over by Baihumon and his army. We all didn't know how bad the earth condition was but we all knew it wasn't pretty. Even if all the military in the world got together they wouldn't be able to hold off for long against the power of digimon.

I looked back at the battle in the sky. Banchotigremon was surrounded in green energy as he roared loudly. " Tiger suplex." He yelled. Images of Tigremon and Panthemon appeared in front of him and slashed out at Azulongmon.

The dragon humanoid didn't even looked hurt at all. " Dragon's rage." He called out as he blasted out a blast of fire in a shape of a blue dragon at Banchotigremon, Shinemon and Saberleomon.

The attack struck the three ultimate level digimon. In a flash of three colored lights. Panthemon, Egaramon and Spadamon fell from the sky. All of them looked very injured.

Cody, Jiwon and Fanny caught their digimon. And looked quite worried as they noticed data flying from their digimon.

I turned my head at my three friends. " You get the others and try to tell Khionemon to distract Ebonwumon. So you guys can open a portal to Earth. I am staying here to watch this battle and make sure these two don't mess things up." I teased.

Jiwon nodded as she raced off with a passed out Egaramon in her arms.

Cody gave me a thumbs up. " Be careful man." He exclaimed as held Panthemon close to him as he raced after Jiwon.

Fanny looked at me with concern. "Don't give up James. Your a great leader." She whispered as she slowly rubbed her hand threw Spadamon fur and raced after the two others.

I smiled as I watch my three friends run towards the others. I looked back up to see Stymphamon and Gnoweemon still fighting Azulongmon.

(Back to the fight with Ebonwumon.)

Grimon snarled as he put up his scythe. With his other hand darkness started to cover his free paw. " Shadow grip." He growled. Darkness started to blast from the tip of his paws. The darkness started to become a paw made of darkness. The darkness strike Ebonwumon.

Ebonwumon got up from the darkness that struck him. He had already accomplished turning Gaeamon into Ariomon and Tritonmon back into Hutizomon.

Jeffrey held Ariomon close to him. " Are you okay?" He asked the winged horse digimon as he rubbed the horse forehead.

Amanda held Hutizomon in her arms as he stared up at Ebonwumon angrily.

Zen smiled as he watched Grimon dodge Ebonwumon vines that started to strike and slash to try to hit Grimon but the ultimate digimon would fade and reappear in darkness.

Grimon reappeared for the seventh times but was caught in the grasp of vines.

Ebonwumon allowed the vines to pull tighter around the grim reaper dog like digimon. He acted like he didn't notice Khionemon sneaking behind him.

Khionemon held out her hands as she started to shout an attack. A cloud of ice started to appear at the tip of her fingers. " Hazard Winds." She whispered.

The blast of ice cold winds started to fly towards the sovereign but he jumped away at the last moment which caused the legends attack to strike Grimon instead.

Grimon changed back into Reymon. The rookie digimon fell from his restraints into Zen's open arms. The fox digimon was unconscious like the other two rookie digimon.

Jiwon had run onto the scene with Egaramon in her arms. " Guys I came up with a plan to get out of this." She announced.

This caught the attention of Amanda, Jeffrey and Zen. The three turned to her to see what she had to say.

Jiwon coughed. " all we have to do is allow Khionemon to hold off Ebonwumon, While Stymphamon and Gnoweemon handle Azulongmon. So we can open a portal close by to Earth so we can escape the wrath of the sovereigns." She informed the others.

Jeffrey looked down at Ariomon and then nodded. " Your right, we can't stay here. If we stay here their is no possible future were we come out perfectly fine from this battle. We have to leave to fight another day." He said.

Khionemon even though a distance away from the group nodded to them, to allow them to let them know that she knew the plan.

The group of tamers raced towards the entrance of the forest. Jiwon open a app on her digivice. A blast of static flew from her digivice and made a portal of electricity in front of them.

" Okay you all go on ahead. I have to stay behind and make sure they come threw. If I go as well. The portal could close and this might be our only chance in escape." She informed them.

The others didn't look so happy with running away from their friends when they were in danger but all of them nodded and jumped into the portal with their digimon in their arms.

Jiwon looked back towards the battle with worry.

Azulongmon had just struck Stymphamon in the chest which caused the humanoid bird to be surronded in red light turning him back into Phemon.

I caught the falling phoenix and held him close.

Gnoweemon create a bright light which blinded the humanoid dragon in front of her. The angel grabbed me as I held Phemon in my arms.

Khionemon made a shield of ice in front of her and Ebonwumon and called out. " Frozen barrier." She chime. The barrier of ice served as her escape as she flew after her sister.

The two legendary digimon flew threw the portal of electricity. Jiwon hop into the portal after them. Which caused the portal to close behind her.

Azulongmon whipped his eyes as he flew down to break the ice that prevented his brother from moving.

Ebonwumon looked very confused as he stared at his elder brother. " Azulongmon I know you, why did you hold back. I know you could have killed them all with a single strike. Why did you toy with them?" He asked.

Azulongmon smirked. " Well for one. Are little brother Baihumon wanted to show the toys his new play area. Also don't forget our plan for that wonderful earth. The plan that will take effect when the high chandler gives us the signal. " He reminded his brother with an evil grin.

(Earth)

I awoke on the ground. When I looked into the sky. I Expected to see a bright blue sky looking back at him me white fluffy clouds. What I got was a sad red looking sky with smoke filling the air.

The air around me smelled of toxins, it was barly breathable. The stench of burning flesh filled the air.

Screams, cries, and shouts of children, adults and animals filled the air.

Slowly I got to my feet with Phemon still in my arms. The bird suddenly awoke in my arms to look around as well.

I noticed that all my friends were all passed out in front of me. On the cold hard ground. Elizabeth and Crystal were not mega level digimon anymore but their human selfs. Ratmon was in Elizabeth's arms unconscious.

The same could be said about Avamon who was held tightly by Crystal who seemed to be having a nightmare.

I looked around the location I was in. Trees burned around me. And the playground lay in ruins. A memory of the playground flashed into my head, I remembered playing with mu friends Crystal, Zen, Cody, and Jeffrey when we were all younger. We would always play a game of tag. Or cops and robbers.

Amanda was even in the memory she was trying to get my attention but ended up stomping away angrily with bawled fists.

I couldn't hold back the cry that formed in the back of my troat. Tears streamed down my face as I looked at the destruction before me.

Phemon looked at me with cocern as he rested his winged hand on my shoulder. " James don't cry. We will make the sovereigns pay for what they have done." He exclaimed with a determined expression.

One by one my friends awoke from their slumper from traveling from the digital world to the human world. Which took a lot of someone.

Reymon rubbed his green nose. "It's smells a lot worse now..." He whined.

Zen rubbed the digimon slowly on his forehead. " You got that right buddy." He whispered sadly as he looked over at a bench that was crumbled into two pieces.

It was the same bench were Zen, Crystal and I sat on the day we were all sent to the digital world for the first time.

Crystal look heartbroken, and scared . She held a fist over her heart. "Why..." she trailed off. " I want to look for my family. " She cried worried

Avamon who was still in Crystal's arms gave her tamer a sad look. " Crystal don't worry. I am sure that your family is okay." She whispered.

Crystal look scared still. She asked in a whisper. "How do you know?"

Avamon was about to answer her when A burning limp from a tree fell down which caused Panthemon to jump into Cody's open arms. " Crap that scared the cat out of me." The tiger mummbled as he held onto Cody with his paws.

Cody looked down at his feet.

Elizabeth put a hand to her necklace. " Guys I know that we all have concern right now but standing in the middle of a fire is not the best idea in the world. We should go somewhere else and think of a different idea. So we can find your guys family and maybe some of our other friends." She suggested.

Ratmon nodded to agree with her tamer. " Elizabeth is right. We can't just stand around her with our thumbs stuck in our mouths like babies crying over this. We have to keep it in and use our anger against the sovereigns." She exclaimed.

I led my friends. We followed the path out of the park. As we walked no one spoke.

Trash littered the ground. Garbage cans were lit with fire from trash that was started to crumble and become dust.

A rabbit hop in front of us and scatter away from us.

We all finally made it to the street. From where I stood I could see buildings crumbling into piles of rubble. Some of the buildings only stood like a brick tower. Glass littered the ground. Their were cars crashed into one another.

A group of humans were all gather around one another weeping in terror from the sight of the digimon that was following my friends and I.

Ariomon sneered. " They think we're scary they should look in a mirror." She remarked as she looked up at the rag wearing humans with a look of disbelief that a human couldn't bathe for weeks and be fine with it.

Jeffrey shake his head at the winged horse digimon and walked over to them with his hands held out as he walked over to them. " Don't be alarm. We're not going to hurt you. But I recommend that you do find some shelter just in case if a digimon attacks." He suggested.

A women gave him a soft smile and nodded to the others that were in her group and went running off.

Suddenly the sound of tires filled the air. We were all confused until a white limo pulled up in front of us. A door to the back of the limo open and a hand grabbed Amanda and pulled her inside and slammed the door shut when they successfully got her in the car and stopped us from opening the limo doors.

When the limo took off a window open up, a scream filled the air which was possibly Amanda's when Huitzomon was thrown out the window at an extreme speed.

Jeffrey caught the reptile creature. " Did you see who kidnap her?" He asked the digimon with a concern look.

Hutizomon open his eyes from horror that he just experienced and lived from. "It was her parents. They seem really angry with her. Like she did something wrong and then they threw me out the window." He announced sadly.

Egaramon started to flap her wings. " I could fly after the limo and see where their going so I can come back later with information to where they went." She suggested as she fixed her pink skurf.

Fanny shake her head. " Guys her parents might be scared with what is happening on right now. We should try to see if we can find our own parents before we go and explain to Amanda parents that our Digimon aren't bad digimon." She exclaimed.

Jiwon agreed with Fanny. " That is a good choice. It's better to make sure that we help you all reunite with your family before we explain things to the Pitt family." She caculated in her head.

Spadamon shrugged. " I just don't feel right seeing this." He whispered as he rubbed his paw against a baby stroller that the fabric was torn and the wheels were taken long ago. " Their were no justice in what the sovereigns did to Earth." He whispered sadly as looked around at the destruction around him with a sick look.

Elizabeth nodded to agree with him. " It is sad Huitzomon. That some people believe that destruction is the only way." She said to agree with him.

Crystal started to walk again. She walking through the crowded streets when a familiar face appeared in front of her. It spook her so much that she punch him the face. " Riley!" She shouted angrily at her boyfriend who was rubbing his nose from being punch in the nose.

Riley grinned weakily. "You know when you great someone you don't punch someone in the nose to give them a nosebleed." He teased.

Gaomon walked out from the spot behind a garbage crate where Riley was hiding moments before. The dog smiled when he notice Avamon.

Panthemon snickered. " That is true Crystal. Giving someone a nosebleed is not the greatest way to say hello." He cackled at his joke.

Crystal gave the tiger Digimon a look that made the tiger gulp. She turned back to Riley. " I am sorry for punching you in the nose. You just spook me." She whispered

Zen and Cody looked around for any sign of Jason or Marie but the sister of Riley and his friend were no where to be seen.

"Where is Marie, please don't tell me she is hurt." Cody pleaded as he looked at Riley with a look of worry.

Zen had tears stream down his face as he asked the question that also clouded his mind. " Is Jason okay?" He asked with worry.

Riley held up his hands to stop all anymore in coming questions. " You know I would love to play twenty four questions with everyone but I would rather take you back to base. Their you guys will find your family. So their is no need to worry." He said aloud for all of us to hear.

Fanny sighed as she stared at the town.

Riley gestured for us to follow him. He lead us to a tour bus which was painted a dark red. Their were some people already inside the vehicle. A women who looked about in her early twenties holding her baby girl in her arms tightly. She wore damp rags as the same thing with her baby girl.

She was holding out her hand as if she was ready to catch something. " I missed Jeff grip and now he is dead because of me..." She whispered over and over under her breath as tears fell from her face.

The baby girl slept uncomfortably in her mother's arms.

A man who looked like mine and Crystal's chemistry teacher Mr. Washinger sat in a chair. He was wearing torn clothing. His black hair seem to have grown past his shoulders. He told dead baby jokes in class sometimes which made everyone think he was plain weird but he was still a pretty cool teacher.

A little girl who looked about three sat in the back of the bus. Her face in her lap. She was crying uncontrollably as she held a doll in her shaking hands.

Riley motion for us to get on. We all found our seats while Crystal and Avamon sat up in front behind Riley who was putting in the key and starting the bus.

Crystal nudge him by poking him in his shoulder blade. " Riley where did you find all these people, why did you leave base and where is the base?" She asked in a whisper not to alarm the rest of us.

Riley couldn't really answer her but he started the bus and started to drive down the crowded streets that were littered with broken cars and many other garbage. He had to drive around this trash so he wouldn't get it caught up in the tires.

I could have sworn that I saw some dead bodies in the pile of trash but decided to keep my mouth shut.

Gaomon who sat across from Crystal and Glaciamon who just digivolved back into her rookie self.

"You see that women with that baby we found her and her baby trying to escape with her baby of course and her husband. But when we were trying to escape a powerful digimon we had to jump across a huge ledge. I couldn't really help out because Riley made digivolve then to fight back against the digimon who was chasing after us. So when it came to the husband turn to jump he nearly made it... his wife almost caught his hand but.... he fell five stories to his death.

She blames herself for his death, that teacher back there we found him trapped in the high school. He was one of the survivors that wanted to come with us. The others didn't trust us because.... well mostly me being a digimon. " he informed her. He then turned his head to the little three year old girl in the back. " And we found her recently. We found her in a small makeshift hut that was made to look like a small garbage can from a distance. She told us that her parents made her stay in there. They told her to stay In there no matter how much she heard her parents scream or was torture by the orge creature's that were after them. Also her name is Katie"

Crystal look sorry for the little girl. She walked towards the back of the bus and sat next to the girl. " Hey you don't have to worry anymore. I promise that I won't allow anyone or anything to hurt you." She promised.

The little girl slowly looked up. She had rosy red hair cut short, her hazel eyes were filled with tears. Her dimples were showing all across her face. She wore a worn out purple t-shirt and a purple skirt. She held out her small pinky as she sobbed out. "Promise?" She cried out.

Crystal had tears forming in her own eyes as she wrap her pinky around the three year old girls finger. " I promise." She whispered.

Crystal wrap the girl in her arms as the girl started to cry again. Crystal cried along with her.

Jiwon look at Egaramon. " Egaramon what would you do if someone hurt Spadamon?" She asked with a shrug.

The eagle Digimon put a winged finger to her chin as she thought about it. " Let me think, I would tear out their troat and then shred them alive and then dance on their grave." She whispered nonchalantly.

Jiwon slowly moved away from the eagle Digimon.

Elizabeth who was siting next to me held my hand. The both of us held hands as we both looked out at the town. Our hometown. I was never so angry with the soverigns before. They went to far this time. They allowed families to lose love ones to be separated by death and terror. I was going to make Azulongmon pay. I thought.

Phemon became more angered by the second as he held Miragemon paw. The rat digimon had just recently digivolve back into her rookie self. " I knew we shouldn't have trusted the sovereigns." He spat as he looked out at the town from the window.

Miragemon frowned. " Yes they did of course lie to us. They told us that they represented siding with the acheients and yes they did destroy us all with dark manna but we have to remember that we can't lose sight of what matters the most." She exclaimed.

Phemon crossed his winged arms in annoyance. " And that would be?" He asked.

Miragemon got up from her seat with her own look of annoyance. " To protect the ones that can't protect themselves. We can't get blinded by anger or we will cause them pain like our enemies do to them." She remarked as she walked towards an open seat away from the phoenix.

(An hour drive in the woods)

After what felt like an enternity Riley pulled up to a two story house. It was painted a snowy white. With blue roofing, blue window covers and a bright blue door.

In the middle of the yard was a tree surronded in tulips. Hanging in the tree was a rope that was tied to a swing set.

Elizabeth gasp at the house.

Elizabeth walked towards to the front door to be greated by teenagers holding up rifles.

Riley walked foward. " No need to be alarmed. Their all with me." He announced.

The teens in front of us nodded and walked out of our way.

Kids, teens and adults worked away on computers or talked or even ate.

A few humans sat with digimon while others stay far away from the creatures as far as they could.

I even saw my neighbor Lisa siting next to her parents with one of the Palmon sisters.

The other Palmon sister was siting next to a girl who was very lonely and by herself.

My friends and i started to spread out to look for our family and maybe some friends to make sure their all alright.

(James, Jeffrey and Elizabeth)

I was scared to hear what happen to my mother. What happen if they hung her with a rope or something worse. It would be all my fault for not running back and helping her.

I walked through the crowd of people with a quiet Phemon on my shoulder. Jeffrey trailed behind with Ariomon walking by his side closly making sure no one got to close to him. And Elizabeth walked close to me.

Jeffrey walked faster so he could walk by my other side as well. " Do you think mom will okay?" He asked hopefully.

Ariomon and I were about to answer when our mother stepped out from a room with other people dress in military uniforms. Instead of our mother usual cheerful appearance. She had long blonde hair now. Her hazel eyes seem old and ancient under her glasses. And she wore a black uniform. She raced over to Jeffrey and I.

The three of us embrace in a hug while Ariomon, Phemon, Elizabeth and her partner stayed a few paces back feeling somewhat uncomfortable for being left alone.

The three of us broke our embrace to look at one another. "I am proud of the both of you. I have been hearing great things from our spies in the digital world about your group. So keep up the good work." Our mother exclaimed as she patted us both on the shoulder.

Jeffrey looked down at the wooden floor. " Well we wore forced back to Earth by two of the soverigns we allowed to defeat us easily..." He was cut off when our mother shake her head.

" Jeffrey I am just glad your both okay." She exclaimed with a bright smile.

I rubbed my shoulder as I looked up at my mother. "Mom what happen to you when we left?" I asked but she held up her hand.

"That can also wait because your whole group needs to have a talk about your adventures, and then I will tell you my own story. But first their our two people and their digimon waiting to talk to you all.

(Crystal's P.O.V.)

I allowed myself to rest my head on Riley's shoulder as he lead me through the house. We both had walked upstairs to see Houmon who tackled his mother Glaciamon on the spot when he saw her.

Riley and I decided to leave Glaciamon and Gaomon alone so they could talk alone.

Riley smiled as he looked down at me. " I am glad your okay. I was worried about you the whole time you were gone." He whispered to me.

I smiled softly to him. " Is my family okay?" I asked. I was glad to hear that he had similar feelings when I was away from him.

Riley lead me to a certain room where laughter and giggling could be heard.

I walked into the room to see my family. My mother, my father were siting next to my little brother and my little sister Ruby raced around the room with a brown bunny like digimon on her head.

" Lopmon and Ruby to the rescue!" She shouted happily as she spread her arms out acting like a plane as she raced across the room.

I was glad to see my family but I quickly turned around to face Riley with rage plastered on my face when I notice the watch digivice on Ruby's wrist. I put a finger on Riley's chest and raised an eyebrow. " So what happen while I was gone huh?" I asked somewhat angrily.

Riley held up his hands hesitantly. "Ah Crystal you see their was a camp and.... and she went along with me without my knowing..." He was cut off when my mother saved him from the wrath of me.

My mother embrace me. "Oh Crystal. I was so worried about you. Please tell me your okay." She sobbed as she held me closly.

I hugged my mother as well. " I miss you as well mom, yes I am okay. Glaciamon has protected me the whole time." I whispered.

(Zen's P.O.V.)

Reymon and I walked cautiously through the crowd of people not really wanting to draw attention to us. But I did get a few angry stares here and there but I also saw some humans of all ages talking to digimon. Some of those humans held digivices, not the same model as mine but I could tell it was a digivice all the same.

Reymon sniffed the air slowly and then looked slightly annoyed when he caught a familiar scent. " Oh boy." He mumbled as he rolled his eyes.

I was about to ask the ghost digimon what was wrong but I was engulfed in a embrace from someone that just randomly hop in front of me.

I finnaly notice it was my boyfriend Jason and I hugged him back. "It's so great to see you." I whispered as I hugged him

Coronamon walked over to Reymon and sighed. " Jason is so annoying when it comes to dating...." the lion cub mummbled.

Reymon nodded to agree with him. " So is Zen parents here?" He asked as he rubbed his paws together shyly.

The lion cub nodded. "Of course all the tamers parents are here. They were all informed about Baihumon taking over and decided to come here." He informed the ghost fox.

(Cody's P.O.V)

I was already talking with my farther. I was really glad to see he was still alive and well. It even looked like he lost a couple of pounds but he didn't look healthy at all.

Panthemon lay out in front of me curled up as he slept at my feet. My father and I sat on a free couch where no one was siting before. Hutizomon was sitting on my shoulder. The reptile creature looked very depressed ever sense being separated from Amanda.

"So Cody, what is the highest level Panthemon can reach now?" My father asked as he looked down at the sleeping tiger watching the cat open and close his mouth slowly as he slept.

I gave a small smile. " Well he can digivolve to ultimate so far but we still haven't been able to correction evolve like Crystal and Elizabeth. I think it's going to be so strange to become a digimon." I whispered.

My farther nodded. " it would indeed definitely with the mind of Panthemon." He teased which caused him, Huitzomon, and I to laugh.

(Fanny's P.O.V.)

Jiwon was on the floor sitting next to me. The two of us believed that no matter how long we looked in this house we wouldn't find a single person we knew.

Jiwon knew that she was born in the digital world that only a few people knew her. Her mother and father were dead.

Spadamon was siting next to Egaramon. The mother and son were talking about the scrolls that they have read once more.

Jiwon tried many times to start a conversation with me. But I tamer didn't really feel like talking.

Suddenly the sound of running was heard in the house. A man with short brown hair and hazel eyes raced into the room. He wore a ragidy torn tux and a look of relief was on his face when he raced over to us.

" Fanny!" He shouted as he raced towards me. I look down at the ground when I saw him.

The man tried to hug mr but I pushed him away.

" Fanny what's wrong aren't you glad to see me? It's me I am your farther." The man whispered as he tried to put a hand on my cheek.

I slap his hand away and got up to my feet as I stared down at him with an angry demeanor. Tears of rage stream across my face. " You never cared about me before!? What's different now?! Your going to change your entire life style because you lost your fame and foutane?! Do you really think I am ever going to forgive you?! You never cared about me and I am threw caring about if you ever loved me at all." I spat as I walked away angrily.

Spadamon looked at Egaramon with a look of concern at my sudden outburst. " Ah I think I should go after her." He whispered as he raced after me. I was stroming off angrily.

Jiwon looked surprised to see the grown man hold his shoulders as he sobbed for my forgiveness. Jiwon couldn't just walk away from him. She put a hand on his shoulder. " You see, if she didn't care about you she wouldn't have said that. But you have to regain her trust. You have to make her believe that you want to apologize for never being there for her." She instucted.

The man nodded slowly agreeing with her.

Egaramon gather the scrolls and tugged on Jiwon ' s sleeve. " We should go I heard from Lunamon that James' mother wanted to hold a meeting with our group." She whispered.

Jiwon nodded and with a pat on the man shoulder she walked away from him with her eagle Digimon to the meeting area.

(Meeting room, James P.O.V. )

We all had already had sat down. My mother sat at the end of the table. All my friends and I sat in a chair with our digimon next to us or sitting on our shoulder or lap. Amanda was the only one not present.

My mother got up from where she was siting. " This war so far has been a tough one so far. We have already have lost a few tamers and digimon to the army of Baihumon. But two tamers from Japan believe that they can help you win this war.

Four people entered the room. There were two man and two dragon like digimon following after them.

The two man looked like they were both in their early twenties.

The first guy had short spiky brown hair and hazel eyes. In his hair was green goggles. He wore a red and white t-shirt. In the middle of his t-shirt was a symbol of a crown. He wore tan shorts and red shoes.

Next to him was a red dragon like digimon. He looked like the dragon we meet from our adventure at the tree of friendship. Shoutmon.

The man waved at us. " Hello my name is Takai Kudou and this is my partner Shoutmon." He announced as he pointed to himself and then the dragon holding the giant microphone.

The other man had spiky brown hair as well but their was a stripe of red in the middle of it. He had blue goggles with yellow frames on his head. He wore a blue t-shirt with a yellow star in the middle of it. He also wore tan slacks and green shoes.

Next to him was a small purple dragon. It was about the height of his knees. It wore a red shirt like object. He had spiky hairstyle and at the end of his tail was a hammer.

The other man waved at the group as well. " Hi my name is Tagiru Akashi and this is my partner Gumdramon." He announced.

(Amanda's P.O.V.)

I was thrown into my room that I once knew with the doors slammed behind me.

Tears stream down my face. " I thought I knew you both but this whole time you have been working for the sovereigns....
