Ep 15: A wish that backfired

(Elizabeth's P.O.V)

My friends and I were now back at James' house. We were all a little shaken up by what happen

Skidemon looked at us sadly. I felt bad about what happen. I felt like it was my fault. I got up from my chair. "I am sorry guys this is my fault that this happen to all of us." I whispered.

All of my friends got up from their chairs as well. But I held up my hand and I quickly took of my pink digivice and threw it on the table.

"I quit the team, so no one will get hurt because of me" I cried, I look at James one more time and ran out the door and flew away into the sky.

I sat in a tree looking down at my silky hands, which seem to sparkle now. Tears were across my face.

I wanted to rip the wings right of my body but I didn't really know how I could do that. "It's all my fault, if I never got hit by Erobismon feather I would have never been controlled by Gebmon. Secondly we wouldn't have turned to look like this." I sobbed.

Just then a huge flame appeared next to me and Pelemon emerged out of the fire smiling at me.

I growled and both of my hands started to gather light in the middle of my palms. "Stay away from me" I snarled getting ready to throw a ball of light at the witch digimon.

Pelemon cackled. "Oh dear Elizabeth, do you really think you can beat me with your pathetic rookie level attacks?" she asked but she flop right down next to me in the tree.

I felt startled but I sat down next to Pelemon anyways. "What do you want?" I asked in terror

Pelemon shrug causing her red dress to ripple to give her dress an image of fire. "Nothing from you sweetheart, I acutely want to offer you a wish. You do realize I am not just the minor legend of destruction, I am also the legend of wishes and dreams. Digimon back in the past used to come to me offering one thing about themselves to vanish so they could get a simple wish." She said happily

I felt frighten by this offering, I put a hand to my heart and I sighed. "Why me? I thought you were on the side of Azulongmon?" I asked

Pelemon once again shrug and got up from her spot where she was, she hop off the tree and lazily started to walk away. "I guess you don't want a wish" she whispered but she was looking back at the me out of the corner of her eye.

"Wait Pelemon I want to have a wish" I cried

Pelemon had a twisted grin across her face but she quickly turn around to face me. "Well let's do the wish thing on the ground, it works better that way." She instructed

I flew down on the ground next to the witch digimon.

"Ready Elizabeth do you want to make a wish?" she asked

I thought for a second but I finally had tears in my eyes when I nodded. I wipe them away and sob. "I want my dad back, I wish he never died" I whispered

Pelemon chuckled. "Why didn't you say so, I mean that is a simple wish, your father will be hugging you once again like in the old days, I guess you want him to take all the pain out of your heart. You want him to show you, your true mother, so you can be a family don't you Elizabeth? " she asked with a smirk.

I felt like I had my mind read because I wanted that more then anything. I wanted to meet my true mother so I could leave my evil step mother. Ever since I open my soul up, it was growing less of a wish for me getting my dad back. "Maybe this was a mistake." I whispered and started to fly away into the sky.

A sound that sounded like a snicker came from behind me. "I knew that she would say that"

I turn around to see a Ladydevimon. I only knew this digimon because I accidently evolved Urielmon into Ladydevimon before, the fallen angel digimon smiled at me.

"You were too weak to leave the power of light are you, that's why you are scared to Digivolve Urielmon now isn't it? You don't want her to turn back into me, do you?" she asked. "I heard you were scared to Digivolve Miragemon because you thought she would turn into a giant rat did you?"

I started to shake my head but a small black cat with purple gloves kicked me in the chest which cause me to fall to my knees. "Don't you lie to Pelemon or Ladydevimon" the cat hissed.

Pelemon snapped her fingers and the black cat digimon hop into Pelemon's open arms. "Blackgatomon you better not hurt my client, she wants a wish, form me" she chuckled to the black cat digimon in her arms.

The breeze that seem to go through the wind, made my skin to get Goosebumps, it was like my wings were telling me to fly away from here and find Miragemon and my friends.

"It's ok Elizabeth don't run away, let's talk" Pelemon laughed and clap her hands and Blackgatomon and Ladydevimon sat up a table and two chairs almost instantly.

Pelemon sat down in one chair and waited for me to sit down as well. "Don't be shy my dear, I am not going to hurt you, I am only trying to make your wildest dream come true" she smiled.

I sighed and sat down in front of Pelemon who was already pulling out a piece of a long scroll and a pen out of thin air.

Miragemon rushes into the clearing and sees what happing. "Elizabeth don't! Don't make a wish!" she yelled but for some reason I couldn't hear her

Miragemon was knocked to the ground by a cheap punch to the face. The rat digimon noticed a small black cat digimon in front of her.

"Oh so it's a fight you want, eh?" she asked angrily. The rat digimon pulled out her sword and Blackgatomon and that rat digimon started to fight each other, claws verses sword.

Pelemon seem to write down a few things on the scroll and sigh and look up at me and then go back to her writing.

I felt bad sitting here with the enemy, I wanted more than anything to run away from Pelemon and her followers but I wanted to see my father again.

I knew that I wanting to see my father again might close my soul up again but I didn't care. I wanted to have a family. I looked up at the witch and waiting for her to say something to me.

The witch finally coughed and stood up from her chair. "Ok let's see what we got here" she whispered. "Your name is Elizabeth Dare, correct?" she asked raising her eyebrows.

"Yes" I whispered.

The witch nodded and look back down at her scroll. "Good, and are you sixteen years old and your boyfriend is James Williams?" she asked.

I didn't understand why Pelemon was asking all of these questions. "Why are you asking all of these questions?" I asked confused.

Pelemon sighed. "Just answer my questions, I need to learn a few things about the person, before I give them their wish." She said a little annoyed.

I nodded. "Ok... yes I am sixteen years old and yes my boyfriend is James Williams" I said slowly not knowing truly how this would help Pelemon grant me a wish.

Pelemon nodded. "Ok Elizabeth, let me see your wish is for your father to be brought back to life but I can also see you want another wish, to have a true family, is that correct?" she asked looking at me with a smirk.

I nodded. "Yes those are my wishes." i said looking down at my arm where my digivice would be usually wrap around my arm. I wanted more than anything for that pink watch to be wrap around there.

Pelemon clapped her hands cheerfully. "That is good, I can give you two wishes at the same time but now for payment." She giggled.

"Payment?" I asked confused. "I really don't have any money, I am kind of poor." I whispered. Not wanting to say this to the witch digimon in front of her.

Pelemon smiled again. "Well you see darling that's not what I want, what I want from you for your first payment is your element, light." She growled angrily.

I looked stun. "My element? But light is the most important element, how can I give it to you?' I asked in almost a whisper.

Pelemon got up from her chair with her scroll in her hands, she walked behind me and put the scroll in front of me. And then the witch digimon put her hands on my shoulders.

"Think about it Elizabeth, if you give me your element, you could have a family, and think about it this way, your father was also a digidestined, he could help you and your friends against Azulongmon" she inform me.

I nodded and wrote my name on the dotted line without another word from Pelemon.

Miragemon was still fighting BlackGatomon when all of sudden the element of light burst out of Elizabeth's digivice forming into a sphere and flying away into Pelemon's open hands.

The witch digimon seem to slowly touch it like it was the most precious item she ever held, she tried to break it with her nails but the light seem to burn her. "It won't get destroyed as long as Miragemon is still alive" she muttered to herself.

I was a little scared when Pelemon tried to destroy the sphere of light but it didn't seem to break at all, instead the witch digimon seem to allow the sphere of light go inside of her. Her red dress now seem to be glowing a bright pink.

"Ok, that was your first payment my dear, now for your rebirth of your father, you have to give up one part of yourself, to disappear forever" she instructed.

Miragemon heard this and covered her mouth to stop me. "Stop Elizabeth, it's a trap don't do it!" she yelled and tried to rush over to me but she was knocked to the ground by Ladydevimon who held her to the ground with her long nails.

"You lose, Miragemon" BlackGatomon snickered behind the fallen angel digimon who chuckled along with the black cat digimon.

I sighed and thought about something that I wanted to lose? The ability to sing, to dance, to love? Or how about remembering almost every detail about things? I had no clue but I finally whispered. "I don't care what you take away from me" I said coldly.

Pelemon seem excited about this news. She started to write fiercely on the scroll in front of her. "Don't worry dear what I am taking away from you. You won't even miss it, you won't even notice it missing or care about it." She chuckled to herself as she was still writing away at the scroll.

I felt my heart beating way in my chest but I sat up straight and waited for Pelemon to stop writing. I thought that I was doing the best for the group. I believed with my father back, I could help my friends fight back against Azulongmon.

Pelemon seem to jump up with joy when she was finished writing away at the scroll, she turn to me and gestured for me to come forward. "Come here my dear, here is the pen and just sign your name down here on the dotted line." She instructed with a twisted smile.

I sighed and took the pen out of Pelemon's outstretch hand like it was some sort of weapon. I started to write my name down.

Miragemon tried desperately to get out of Ladydevimon's grasp but to no luck. The fallen angel digimon held her down. "You can't save your tamer, you gross rat. And anyways it's too late anyways." She cackled.

The rat digimon got up to her feet but not a second afterword's she was blown high into the sky, "Elizabeth! "She screamed as she went inside a giant red tornado.

Elizabeth saw her digimon fly into the sky and held up her hand. "Miragemon." She turn around to face Pelemon with rage all over her face.

I could see the tornado was destroying everything in its path.

Pelemon started to laugh. "This is what you wish for my dear, that tornado is starting to set everything to my plan for a brand new life, and do you want to know what I took from you before you just seem to pass out into a brand new world, I created for you and mostly for me?" she asked cheerfully as Ladydevimon and BlackGatomon seem to walk behind her with smirks across their face.

I didn't want to ask but my heart got the best of me. "What did you take away from me?" I asked a little terrified. I was shaking from head to toe.

Pelemon grinned and held up her scroll. "You should really read your documents before you sign them, darling I took away the day you were born." She laughed evilly

I didn't have any time to react to this because my vision seem to go black all of sudden, and consciousness left me instantly.

I felt something that was on my face and when I open my eyes. I saw a piece of paper covering my face. I grabbedit and when I did, the only thing I saw was destruction.

I was in a field of dead grass and flowers, no signs of vegetation was anywhere but then I saw a group of Agumon huddled together trying to keep warm.

I felt bad for them. I wanted to hug them and tell them everything was going to be okay.

But then I realized something I wasn't cold at all. A few seconds went by and I notice I was in what look like a destroyed digital world.

I slowly got up to my feet and notice I was wearing a scratch up beaten up brown dress.

I looked at my hands now to see I was holding Pelemon's scroll still. I started to read the scroll quickly to see if the witch digimon was lying about everything she did and what she took. But it was there as bright as day. The only thing that was still beautiful about the digital world was the bright light that came from the sun from overhead. "She did take away the element of light, my birthday and then she changed everything which I don't get how she was able to do this with me out of the way." I muttered to myself.

An Agumon look up at her. "Hey if you are wondering about something, I suggest you go visit the Mysterious library, the librarian there knows basically everything." He said pointing a claw to a building which was bright red, with a lion statue on either side of the building.

"Thank you" I whispered and started to walk over to the building.

As I got closer I could tell the building was one of the things that brought color in this gray world.

I walked to the large black doors and pushed it open to see shelves all over the place filled with books of all colors.

Digimon of all kinds sat in chairs reading books, talking quietly and in hush voices, scared that something or someone would hurt them if they talked to loud.

I started to walk around and notice I wasn't the only human around. I saw one who was wearing a cow girl red dress and a pink hat, the girl had long brown hair and brown gloves covering her hands. Before I could even talk to the girl she walk down an aisle and seem to disappear.

I started to walk further down the library and I could have sworn I saw Cody walking down a aisle looking at books that were bright green but when I looked back to see if he was there, he was gone.

"Hello, has anyone seen the librarian around here?" I asked no one in particular.

"Who is asking, are you the bill collector because if you are, the librarian is that Gabumon over there" a green worm digimon said pointing a tiny finger at the wolf.

I held up my hands. "No, I am not a bill collector, I just wanted to ask the librarian a question" I whispered to the green worm type digimon.

"Oh then, my name is Wormon and I am the librarian, what is your question?" he asked removing black glasses that sat at the edge of his little nose.

I started to look at the bright green worm, it had no legs what so ever. It had a worm like body, black glasses which he was holding in his small hand. Around the worm's neck was a black camera and in his other hand he was holding a bag that was made out of a spider web.

"Oh, well you see, I kind of made a wish from Pelemon, and I wanted to know if you can see if there is any way out of the deal. Can you check this scroll to see if you can find anything which can break this curse? I think the digital world was changed because of my selfish wish." I muttered looking down at my feet which weren't covered by shoes.

"I am not just a librarian, I am excellent code cracker. Also don't worry about it I will find a way to get you out of the deal like there is no tomorrow." He said

I rolled my eyes and handed the digimon the scroll. "There might not be a tomorrow, and if there is anything else, bad that I need to worry about you should tell me now." I instructed.

"Dang it! I get paid by the hour." He muttered and started to read the scroll

I face palm and wanted to choke the worm to death but I sighed and looked around the library.

Wormon started to fold the scroll in every way possible quickly.

I have watch the Shrek movies and I realized that Wormon could be solving a puzzle which could help me out. "Are you solving a type of puzzle?" I asked.

Wormon put a finger to his lips and hissed at me to be quiet.

He turn his back at me and started to fold away at the scroll quicker and yelled in triumph when he was finished.

"You found out, how to break the deal?" I asked excitedly

"No, I made this awesome pyramid" he laughed and he held it up for me to see.

I bawled my fist. "You...You were supposed to help me break the stupid curse!" I yelled. My face growing a dark red.

Wormon hushed me and said. "Don't worry the answer is inside, I always do this for fun!" he chuckled to himself as he open the top of the pyramid.

I put a hand to my forehead, knowing that Wormon was always going to be a pain. I finally decided to look inside the pyramid.

When I looked inside and saw a picture of a heart with a crown around it, but what looked like light slowly destroying it.

"Wormon I don't think that would help me break the curse" I muttered slowly losing hope that the bug digimon could help me.

"Ok who is in control of the digital world right now?" he asked me.

I rolled my eyes. "The digimon sovereigns of course." I whispered.

"No, it's not. It's Pelemon" he inform me. "Every sense you made that stupid wish, she became the queen of the digital world."

I looked shocked. "But how, about me not being born would allow me to become queen of the digital world?" I asked

"You see, each tamer that was chosen, to fight alongside with a digimon legend was already picked a long time ago. When you weren't born the crest of light couldn't find anyone to give its power to. Pelemon knew that this would happen, she knew the crest of light has very high expectations for giving away its power to a human." He exclaimed.

I had to sit down in a chair behind me. "So what happen, when I wasn't born?" I asked sadly looking down at my human hands, slowly realizing I didn't look half digimon anymore.

Wormon sighed. "Well you see the other tamers weren't called upon because the crest of light is the portal to the digital world, for first time tamers and without it the tamers were not called upon to fight back. So Pelemon went after the digimon legends and one by one took them, and took their elements that were meant for their tamers. She used the power of the elements to destroy the digimon sovereigns, the other minor legends, even her husband and then afterwards she killed off the digimon legends, the only one she can't kill is Miragemon, because the element of light can't be destroyed until your dead" he inform me.

I covered my face with my hands. "It's all my fault, if I didn't make the stupid wish, I could have done something about it." I cried. "It's my fault that the digimon legends are dead." I was crying uncontrollably, my shoulder was bobbing up and down.

"Hey stop beating yourself up, I personally made a deal with Pelemon before and I lost someone I loved." He said sadly and he pulled out a huge red book out of his bag which was two times his size. He flipped open the book to a page and seem out of breath from holding the giant book open.

I took the book from him and looked at the picture of a similar bug digimon but it was pink. "What happen to her?" I asked wiping away tears in my eyes.

Wormon looked at the floor sadly. "I made a deal with Pelemon to bring back my old tamer but for in return, I had to lose something I loved." He said sadly.

"Oh that is terrible, she took away the girl you like?" I asked

"Yes she did." He sighed

I sighed and got up to my feet. "Hey have you seen my father? Is he alive again, in my wish, I asked to see my father again." I exclaimed a felt a pinge of hope

Wormon took off his black glasses and clean them with a little silk from his bag. "You see, Pelemon trick you, I am sorry to say this but your father is still dead, Pelemon offered you to see your father's digimon." He said sadly.

I felt confused. "My father's digimon?" I asked raising my eyebrow.

Wormon nodded. "Yes your father's digimon works for someone who tries to protect the light of the digital world."

I nodded at this information and wonder what my dad's digimon look like.

Then I decided to ask about the pyramid again "What does that image mean?" I asked

"You need to defeat Pelemon and what time did you sign the contract?" he asked looking up at me with full intent.

"Well I signed it just today, I think" I muttered not knowing how much time has passed sense I signed the contract.

"Well on this contract" he started to say while unfolding the pyramid he made. "She said it is a twenty four hour deal, and once the time is over you will cease to exist.' He inform me.

"What!?" I yelled.

"We need to get there fast, and once we do, we can find Miragemon so you guys can defeat Pelemon but first let me take a wormfie" he said excitedly and snap a picture of him and me with his camera.

"But don't we need help, I mean I think Pelemon would have guards and without my friends who can help us?" I asked.

"Hey we can do this! With two rookie digimon and one tamer with no power what so ever we can defeat Pelemon and her forces and her alone." He said happily throwing a tiny fist in the air.

I sighed. "Do you know, how stupid you sounded right there?" I asked the worm digimon.

"We need to try" he said

I shake my head and then held up a finger. "Didn't you talk about my father's digimon and a digimon he works for?" I asked quickly.

Wormon fell off the table he was sitting on with the sudden outburst. "Son of a!!!" he yelled out loud

"Oh Wormon I am so sorry." I whispered and put the bug digimon back on the table he was sitting on.

"I known, I should have bought the better table but my coworkers said no, no it cost too much." He muttered angrily. "Yeah I am looking at you." He said pointing a finger at a red dinosaur digimon who took this moment to hide behind a mountain of books.

I held up my hands. "Hey it was my fault, are you ok?" I asked

"Yeah, yeah. I just need to crack my back" he started say and he tried to crack his back. Suddenly I heard a loud crack and the bug digimon once again fell off the table.

"Oh, my gosh! Are you ok?" I asked picking up the bug digimon once again and helping him to sit down on the table.

"Stop worrying about me, To find your father's digimon we need to go to the forest I know where he live" he inform me.

I smiled at this news. "Well lets' go" I gestured for the bug digimon to follow me and I started to run to the entrance of the library.

"Wait! Wait I can't run" he said out loud he barley seem to have move an inch from the spot where he was. "I have a broken back." He cried.

I sighed and walked back to the bug digimon. "I guess I can give you ride on my shoulder." I suggested.

"Yeah that would be a lot quicker, and let me see.... Hey you!" he yelled to a yellow fox digimon with purple gloves.

The yellow fox digimon turn to him and putting a glove paw to her chest. "Me?" she asked him with a raised eyebrow.

Wormon nodded. "Yeah you, while I am gone, you are in charge" he inform her.

The yellow fox digimon rolled her eyes. "I don't work here." She exclaimed and walked away from him.

"Who works here!" he yelled. "I can't keep track of any of my workers anymore" he spat angrily.

The red dinosaur held up his claws. "I do!" he said excitedly with a childish voice. He started to run over to Wormon and at the same time his tail knock over the mountain of books that he was hiding behind. "oh sorry" he whispered as he was backing up and bump into a small green bunny digimon with a little horn on top of his head.

"Hey!" the bunny digimon said as the red dragon digimon bump into him

"Oh sorry" he whispered to the green bunny digimon and walked over to Wormon with a smile across his face.

"Are you sure you are the only here?" he asked hopefully.

The red dinosaur digimon shake his head. "Don't you remember you gave all the other workers a vacation day because they were doing such a great time, or did they lied to me so they could get a day off?" he asked the worm digimon.

"They lied, oh Guilmon what am I going to do with you?" he asked shaking his head slightly. "Well I guess that you were the only one to acutely come here, I guess you are in charge." He muttered.

Guilmon jump into the air with a look of triumph in his face. "Yes I am in charge!" he said happily as he knock down an old digimon couple.

Wormon did a face palm. "Let's just go" he whispered

"But shouldn't we help-" I started to say but was stopped when Wormon held up a tiny hand.

"No! Let's just go" he said shaking his head.

I started to run to the door and quickly open the door and raced to the forest.

"Ok where do I go Wormon?" I asked as I was getting closer to the forest.

"Go left" he instructed pointing his finger.

"Ok!" I yelled as I went down a trail that lead to the left.

"So how far away is my father's digimon?" I asked Wormon

"Not that far now, just keep on running" he instructed

'Well that is good" I sighed, a little part of me was excited to see my father's digimon.

"Ok, keep on going straight" Wormon instructed

I nodded as I passed a sign that read, turn back now in what look like red paint, or which I hoped was red paint.

"Now duck!" he yelled

"Duck?' I asked aloud

I saw a huge boulder which was coming straight at me. I didn't duck, I decided to jump out of the way to the right, out of the boulder's path.

"No! No! No!" Wormon started to sound a little worried.

"What is it Wormon?" I asked a little more terrified.

"You just activated another trap" he muttered a little annoyed.

Then I saw not only a boulder that was coming behind me but flaming arrows that was coming at me from each side.

"Run!" Wormon yelled

I didn't need to be told twice, I started to sprint down the path, hoping I wouldn't be hit by an arrow or crush to death by the boulder.

"Why is there so many traps?" I cried running quicker down the path.

"I don't know, visitor issues and also no one has ever survived going this path" he exclaimed a little sadly.

"Why didn't we take a different path then?" I asked angrily, hearing the boulder behind me getting a little closer.

"We can't this is the only path!" he inform me

I shake my head. "I thought you meet my father's digimon." I yelled.

"I did, but he put up the traps because of me, we have bad relationship." He muttered.

"Wormon if we ever get out of this alive, I just wanted you to know that I will kill you!" I yelled to top of my lungs.

"Jump into that ditch!" he yelled pointing at a ditch not too far away.

I used the last bit of strength in me and I jump into the ditch.

The boulder passed by. Wormon and I sighed. "That was close" I muttered.

"Now, Wormon do you remember what I said earlier?" I asked as I bawled my fist.

"Wait where are you?" I asked looking around in the ditch but I saw no sign of the worm digimon.

"Hiding" he whispered.

I felt something crawling on my back and when I slowly touched my back. I found him hanging onto my shirt. "Get off me!" I shouted. I threw him against the side of the ditch.

I heard a loud crack from the bug digimon.

"Oh my! Are you ok?" I asked Wormon getting down on one knee.

"Who is there?" a voice that sounded gruff and angry.

I looked up out of the ditch to see who was talking but my attention turn quickly back to Wormon when he cried.

"You jackass!" he yelled out loud at the top of his lungs.

"What!?" the voice sounded even angrier then it was a minute ago. "I take high offense to that" he growled.

I watch as a panther who stood like a human walk into the clearing. It had black armor, claws that where so long it went down to his knees, a shield which had the symbol of light on it, and at this moment the panther digimon seem to be snarling.

"Oh great the digimon had to be a cat" I muttered to myself.

"Oh shit, not him" Wormon started to try climb out of the ditch but he would always fall back down on his butt. "I am almost there, almost there, see you later suckers!" he yelled when he fell on his butt once again.

"Uh Wormon you haven't even moved an inch up that wall." I muttered face palming myself.

'I am done, curse the fat that I carry!" he yelled holding onto his stomach. "I am only kidding baby I love you" he whispered and kissed his stomach.

"Oh it's you" The panther digimon snarled as he looked at the worm digimon. "I thought the Guardian of light and I made ourselves clear that you weren't allowed in this domain." He growled picking off a sword from his belt.

"Wait, before you kill me" he started to say and then pointing his hands at him. "Your father's digimon, (he then points to me) Your tamer's daughter, daughter meet your father's digimon." He said quickly gesturing between me and the panther digimon.

The panther digimon shake his head. "I think you are lying you evil worm" He snarled.

"Well you see your tamer's daughter here made a deal with Pelemon for her dad to come back to life, but then Pelemon trick her by taking her element of light from her." He said all of this very slowly and mostly gesture to me communicating by gestures that it was all my fault. "Did I explain it slowly enough for your tiny brain to understand?" Wormon asked slowly

The panther digimon growled and jumped into the ditch. "Your dead Wormon" he held up his sword.

I now stood between the two of them.

"Girls, girls you're both pretty can we just have a talk here?" I asked angrily

The panther digimon growled and held up his sword to my neck. "What is your name human?" he asked

"My name is Elizabeth Dare, and I am a tamer, or at least I used to until I made the stupid deal with Pelemon." I muttered.

"Dare?" he asked with raised eyebrows, looking shock about my last name, he dropped his sword to the ground. "This can't be possible I thought Nick Dare died without any children." He whispered.

"Well know that you believe us, can we go into your domain?" Wormon asked as he climbed up on my shoulder.

I looked up at the panther digimon with a soft smile. "I hope you're not like my step mother, and already hate me." I whispered. 'You probably think I am ugly." I whispered closing my eyes, letting a few tears fall across my face.

I didn't expect the panther to say or do anything, the only thing I expected was Wormon to tap me on the shoulder to tell me that, the panther digimon was going to show us the way to the Guardian of light.

But then I felt something furry started to wrap around me. When I open my eyes, I notice the panther digimon was hugging me. "You look just like your mother, who would ever say you are ugly are blind, and they don't know how beautiful how you are." He said trying to calm me down. The panther digimon knocked the worm digimon off my shoulder.

"Hey!" Wormon yelled as he landed on his butt on the bottom of the ditch.

"You...You don't think I am ugly?" I asked with a shaking voice as I looked up at the panther.

He nodded. "I can't believe I didn't see it before, you defiantly look like your mother. You look exactly like her. I'm sorry about what happen to your father. I miss him too."

I hugged the panther digimon back. "I always wanted a family that cares about me, Thank you." I cried. "My step mother hates me, she calls me ugly and says that if I ever fell in love with someone that they would only hurt me." I had tears streaming down my face now.

The panther digimon let go of me so he could look into my eyes. "Listen to me, Elizabeth if anyone ever hurt you, I would make sure I would hurt them, even though you are not my daughter I want you to know, you will always have a home here with me. You are the daughter of my tamer." he said.

Wormon clapped his hands together. "Ok I don't want to ruin a touching moment, oh wait I can I do, we only have twenty four hours to break the deal before Elizabeth will cease to exist, and we are wasting valuable time here." He said

The panther digimon turn to the worm digimon as he picked up his sword off from the ground. "Wormon, I would usually disagree with you but I will only agree with you right now because I won't allow Pelemon to win." He growled. "Follow me" he hop out of the ditch and helped me out.

"Wait! What about me" he asked angrily

"I was thinking of leaving you here." He said with no emotion at all. "You are useless in battle" he muttered.

"I heard that!" he yelled.

"I wasn't trying to be quiet." The panther digimon sighed angrily.

I held out my hand for wormon. "Come on let's go" I said.

Wormon instead of grabbing my hand climbed up my arm and sat on my shoulder. "Ok Elizabeth let's follow your stupid father's digimon." He instructed.

The panther digimon seem ready to cut Wormon in half but I gave him a look that said come on let's just go.

He nodded and lead us to a giant white kingdom, a few angel digimon stood outside the building and when the panther got close an angel digimon flew towards him. "Sir are these two prisoners?" a male angel asked.

"No angemon these two are guest, please tell Cicimon.' He instructed.

"Yes sir, do you any other things you want me to do Dukamon?" he asked

Dukamon shake his head. "I think I got it here but thanks for asking." He said and waved off Angemon to do what he was asked.

Dukamon turn to me. "Just stay calm, okay?

Elizabeth took a deep breath and nodded. "Okay, I will be calm."

"Then let's go" he suggested and entered the white kingdom that seem to sign bright with light. I followed in after her Dukamon.

After a while Dukamon led me through hallways with many types of angel digimon walking around.

Dukamon then walked to giant white doors that were decorated with flowers of all kinds. I had a strange feeling that I could sense the Guardian of light.

Dukamon turned back to me and gave me a comforting smile and open the door, to a beautiful room. The walls were bright white, with vines covering the walls, on each vines was pink flowers. In the middle of the room was a silver throne and sitting in the throne was the most beautiful women I have ever seen.

The women was tall, she had this glow that made her to seem to make her look nicer then she appeared. She had long blonde hair with a pink rose in the middle of her hair, her eyes were a gentle green, she wore a bright white dress with pink roses here and there on the dress.

The women looked up from a scroll she was holding when we entered the room.

Cicimon look between Wormon and I and then directed her gaze to Dukamon. "Who is the girl?" She asked staring at me.

Dukamon got down on one knee and bowed to her a little. " Guardian of light. This is my tamer's daughter Elizabeth Dare." He introduced me.

Cicimon smiled softly. " It is very nice to meet you."

I nodded as well. "It's very nice to meet you as well. Cicimon, my friend Wormon believes you can help me to get out of Pelemon's wish." I informed her.

Cicimon held out her hand. "Can you please allow me to see the deal?" She asked as she held out her hand.

I handed her the contract and she read it over.

"I am sorry to hear that you were trick."

I felt depressed when she said that. "I...I just wanted to see my father again."

Dukamon put a paw on my shoulder. "I will help you. You have no need to worry."

"Oh Elizabeth, I will help you too. I will send my best troops to help you fight Pelemon" she inform me.

I looked up at Guardian of light. "Thanks so much Cicimon, once I destroy Pelemon, I hope I can meet you again." I said happily.

Cicimon turned to Dukamon. "Lead her to the warriors and lead the fight. Pelemon must be defeated."

Dukamon nodded. "I will, you know I will." He grinned and gesture for me to follow him.

He led me to an open room where angel digimon of all kinds were standing waiting for orders. "Hello my fellow fighters, we are the rebellion against the queen known as Pelemon. You all already know this of course but now we have chance to rewrite history for the digital world. Elizabeth can help us destroy Pelemon once and for all." He inform them by throwing a fist into the air.

A cheer went through the crowd of angels that mimic Dukamon.

Wormon rolled his eyes. "So dramatic." He muttered.

Dukamon turn his head to the worm digimon. "Shut the hell up" he growled.

Wormon grinned. "Oh yeah, you going to make me kitty?" he teased.

Dukamon snarled and was about to grab his sword when I shake my head.

"Don't listen to Wormon." I said quickly to stop him.

Dukamon nodded. "Let's move out" he yelled out to the troops in front of him.

The troops of angels flew off into the sky cheering as they went off to war.

"So how are we going to make it there, to fight? I mean we don't have wings at all." I pointed out.

Dukamon smiled at me and snapped his fingers as two Pegues digimon flew next to us.

"Sir" both of them yelled out.

"Pegasusmon you will take my Elizabeth and I to the battlefield." He instructed.

Both of the winged horses nodded and Dukamon climbed on the back of one and waited for me to get on the other one.

I gulped. If James can ride on the back of Blazemon. I can ride this Pegasusmon.

'Come on Elizabeth" Wormon yelled at me.

"Ok I am ready"

I climbed on the back of the winged horse digimon.

"Let's go!" Dukamon yelled to the winged horse digimon, both of them flew after the angel digimon that were already ahead of us.

I held tight onto the Pegasus digimon. I hope I didn't fall off.

After a couple minutes the two horses let Dukamon and I and off on the ground and flew after the troops who were already in battle with demon like digimon.

"Elizabeth if we get separated, you have to go to that castle over there." He instructed pointing to a large black castle. What made me sick when I saw on walls of the building. Stuff bodies of Phemon, Glaciamon, Reymon, Panthemon, Ariomon, Huitzomon, a eagle type digimon, and a lion like digimon hanging by their arms on the walls of the kingdom.

"Oh my!" I cried. I covered my eyes as tears stream down my face. Wormon comfort me but then he suddenly stopped.

"Elizabeth watch out!" he cried.

"Darkness claw" a voice cried then I felt a cut against my leg, and pain surge throughout my body. I screamed out in pain as I fell to my knees.

BlackGatomon stood in front of me looking angry. 'Gosh, I just lost a bet to Ladydevimon, I thought you would chicken out from trying to fight against my mistress." She chuckled with a small smirk crossing her face.

Wormon growled. "Well you don't have to worry about that anymore." He pointed a finger behind her.

BlackGatomon had a look of terror across her face when the tip of Dukamon's sword was in middle of her stomach. BlackGatomon didn't have time to utter one word, when she suddenly blew up in black data.

A cry from above was heard above us. Ladydevimon now stood in the spot where BlackGatomon stood. "You...You destroyed my friend, I will make you pay Dukamon." The fallen angel digimon snarled.

Dukamon raised his sword. "Elizabeth, Wormon go to the castle and destroy Pelemon, I will handle this witch." He snarled.

Ladydevimon gasp. "You are going to die!" she yelled rising her claws and flying in the direction of Shademon.

I didn't waste any more time as I started to sprint in the direction of the castle. I avoided all of the battles between the demon and angel digimon. If a demon digimon tried to attack me, an angel digimon would jump out and help me.

"Hurry Elizabeth the sun is going down." Wormon yelled pointing out with a finger to the setting sun.

"What does that mean?" I asked almost out of breath from running all the day.

"It means in a couple of minutes, you go poof." He yelled back at me over the noise, gesturing for emphasis.

I nodded and was surprise that I was able to get into the castle doors without any trouble at all, like Pelemon wanted me to get in without any trouble.

I started to run through empty passes ways, with pictures of Pelemon hanging on the walls, each of them showed a gruesome death of either a death of a sovereign, minor legends or a major legend.

"Where do you think Miragemon is?" I asked Wormon.

Wormon was about to answer me when all of sudden we could hear someone crying as they were singing.

"Somehow I know I will find a way, to a brighter day, in the sun, somewhere I know that he waits for me, someday soon he'll see, I'm the one-" the voice started to cry harder and stopped singing, just so they could sob.

I recognized the voice who was singing and walked over to the sobbing.

When I found a door that I thought would led to the crying digimon. Wormon stopped me. "Are you sure this isn't a trap?" he asked by taking off his glasses so he could look at me closely.

I nodded. "I feel like I know that voice from somewhere." I whispered and open the door just a crack to see Miragemon in a maid's outfit. The rat digimon was cleaning the floors with a sponge. She would dip the sponge in a bucket of water and clean the floor some more. The rat' shoulders were bobbing as she was crying.

"Oh Phemon" she cried. "Why won't she kill me already? I have nothing else to live for anymore. I want to be with you again. I miss you." She sobbed as she cleaned the floors.

"Miragemon, it's me" I whispered as I entered the room, looking for any sign of Pelemon as I walked into the room.

Miragemon looked up from the floor with tears in her eyes. She looked at me like I was some sort of ghost. "Who are you?" she asked confused. "I never met you before in the castle? Do you work for my mistress?" she asked a little bit in terror. Her body was shaking from head to toe in just seeing me.

This wasn't like her... she was a very proud digimon.

"Miragemon, it's me Elizabeth don't you remember me? I am your tamer." I whispered surprised that the rat digimon wound't recognize me.

Miragemon turned and started to yell. "My mistress a tamer is your in castle like you predicted." She yelled and hopped up and down.

"Miragemon?" I said in a whisper. I couldn't believe my digimon would sell me out like this.

Wormon started to yell at the rat. "You know that your mistress can make deals, this is your tamer she made a deal, which Pelemon who trick her so she could make this evil world for herself." He growled.

This caused Miragemon to look shook. She looked at me with a look of hope but that changed when Pelemon herself walked into the room. Her brown skin seem to glow with a pink light, the dress she was wearing was a bright gold with triangles at the bottom. Her brown hair was put in a bun and her red eyes seem to gleam with happiness when she notice me in the room.

"Hello Elizabeth you make it so much easier for me to kill you, and oh it looks like you brought that fat worm with you." Pelemon chuckled to herself.

"I can't believe we just walked into this witch house" Wormon muttered to himself.

He said witch but he was trying to something else.

"I heard that you stupid little worm, you are a pathetic piece of data, you are entirely useless." She screamed at the top of her lungs jumping up and down angrily.

"Does it look like I care...? No!" Wormon teased with a smirk

Pelemon grimaced. "Shut up and besides its Elizabeth's fault for all of this." She laughed and gestured all around. "I have to thank you, my dear, this wound't have happen without you, if you check the deals before you signed them, you would have known this would happen. Oh and it looks like your time is about to end. I am really sorry to say this dear but in a couple of minutes, you will cease to exist." She chuckled to herself like this was the biggest joke in the world.

I bawled my fist. I was done being bullied by people like her. "Shut it! , of course I made a mistake but I came here to fix it." I growled.

Pelemon smiled. "Oh, someone is high and mighty now is she, but don't you want to see what happen to your little friends, in this new universe without you being born?" she asked with a raised eyebrow.

I was surprised when she suggested this and even more surprised when I nodded.

Pelemon held up a mirror and a girl with long black hair appeared. Her green eyes were filled with pain, she wore a black shirt, black paints, and she wore gray eyeliner and black lipstick. For some reason I thought I knew this Goth girl. "Crystal...?" I whispered in shock.

Pelemon nodded. "You see after her little outburst with her friends one day. She decided to be alone and become goth. She has no friends anymore."She laughed.

Pelemon then waved her hand again and a boy appeared on the screen, he was exactly the same but he was shaking like a new born baby.

"What is wrong with Zen?" I asked confused in seeing my friend act this way.

"Zen lost his courage, when he Crystal turned away from her friends. She was like a sister to him, he had really no anyone else to talk to about his feelings, he just allows people to bully him now." She chuckled and waved her hand over the mirror again and another figure showed on the screen.

It was Cody and he was wearing a biker's outfit. He seem to be beating up a few kids. "Why is he doing this?" I asked surprise in seeing Cody bulling someone like that.

Pelemon once more giggled. "Oh you see Cody had enough of his father, he blame his father for his brother's death, and he takes all of his pain on others." She inform me.

Pelemon waved her hand once more but this time instead of showing a figure it showed a tombstone. "I saved the best for last." She chuckled like a witch.

"Who is that?" I asked in terror

Pelemon waved her hand once more and the tombstone seem to zoom in closer and the name on it seem to be a lot more clearer, James Williams was written out in big letters.

I felt tears in my eyes as I looked at the tombstone. "What happen to him!?. "

Pelemon laughed at my terror. "Oh yes my dear, James was so depressed that one day while he was on a jog he didn't check both ways before he crossed the street. He was hit by a car that was speeding." She chuckled

I held my head down, as I held my shoulders to stop myself from crying.

Wormon growled. "Elizabeth remember that this is Pelemon's reality this may have not happen if you weren't born but think about how you changed your friend's lives." He reminded me.

I closed my eyes and saw Crystal and I running through the stores in the digital mart trying on hats and laughing together.

I saw Zen and I watching a Disney movie together.

Cody and I were hanging out at school, and finally I saw James holding my hands looking at me in the eyes with the smile.

I looked up at Pelemon with anger, and then I looked over at Miragemon who stood behind the witch. She was still shaking with fear. "Miragemon you may not remember me but if you don't I won't need your assistance , I will kill this witch all by myself because even after you showed me all of that my friends are still beating true in my heart and so is the light!" I yelled.

A bright light started to surround me, my skin seem to glow a bright pink. The symbol of light appeared in front of me.

"What! The symbol of light has trusted its alliance to you!" Pelemon yelled angrily.

I felt something wrap around my neck and notice a necklace with a white feather emblem at the edge of the necklace. A young girl appeared in front of me.

She gave me a small smile. "Elizabeth you are now the warrior of light." She inform me and suddenly she faded away in pink data.

I looked down at my arm and saw my digivice. I held up my digivice and smiled.

Pelemon looked shocked. "What!? I didn't see this in my prediction at all-"she was interrupted when the element of light burst out of her chest and turn into a sphere and went inside of my digivice.

Suddenly wings grew out of my back and then out of the side of my head. My skin seem to glow a warm pink.

"Elizabeth" Miragemon whispered in shock as she blinked in surprise. "You lied to me Pelemon" Miragemon yelled.

"Are you ready to get back at her?" I asked Miragemon.

"I am going to get back at you for what you did to my sister and all my friends" she snarled. "Do it Elizabeth" she instructed.

I nodded and held up my arm. "Digivice!" I yelled. My watch beep once and the element of light seem to hover over it. I touch the sphere and my hand seem to glow bright pink. "Light charge!" I yelled. The light that surrounded my hand seem to pulse with energy as I slam mu hand over my digivice. Light burst out of my digivice and hit Miragemon who was waiting for the blast of light.

"Miragemon light charge Digivolve to...Urielmon" she giggled when the light disappeared from her.

"Oh you" she snarled and held up her hands. "Flaming ritual" she screamed as a ball of fire shot out of her hands at the angel digimon in front of her.

Urielmon dodge it by flying out of the way. She grimaced as she held up her hands. "Light of God!" she screamed. Urielmon wings started to glow like a rainbow and suddenly the energy burst out of her hands.

Pelemon stood as the blast of energy hit her. Smoke seem to surround her. Urielmon seem to look down into the smoke. "Did I kill her?" she asked me.
Pelemon jumped out of the dust and grab Urielmon's arm and threw her at the ground. "You are going to die legend of light and then your pathetic tamer." She cackled as she started to tear Urielmon's wings of her back.

I heard my digimon scream like there were something ripping at my heart. "Urielmon!" I shouted. "You can do this I believe in you." I bawled my fist as my body started to become pink data.

Wormon hop of my shoulder as i started to scream an ear aching scream.

The pain was unbearable. I never felt this much pain before.

Pelemon looked at me in horror. "The soul charge" she whispered in shock.

I held up my wrist and screamed. "Digivice!" my digivice beep twice and then a stop sign appeared in the screen. "Soul charge, smile!" I yelled and slam my hand over my digivice.

At first nothing seem to happen but then pink energy and music started to blast out of my digivice hitting the fallen Urielmon.

Pelemon was so shocked she jumped off of the angel digimon like she was some sort of virus.

"Urielmon soul charge Digivolve to..."Urielmon seem to fly into the air and suddenly became pink energy. Her wings started to grow longer and then two wings started to grow on her forehead. Her dress seem to grow larger as well. When the pink energy faded away. The angel digimon had four long wings, her blonde hair was put into a pony tail which was hold together by a gold ribbon, her eyes were a bright silver, her lips were a crimson red, and her dress was white with the crest of light in the middle of chest. Her pink dancing shoes were replaced by silver shoes with hearts design in them. The angel held up her hands and a rainbow of colors seem to surround her. "Diannamon" she yelled as the light seem to fade away.

"Hi Diannamon" Wormon waved at the ultimate level digimon with a smile and then he pointed a finger at Pelemon. "Kick her ass" he shouted.

Diannamon crack her knuckles. "With pleasure" she whispered with a gentle sounding voice, even though it was supposed to be threatening it sounded very kind and gentle.

Pelemon snarled at the worm. "It's already too late, the sun has set, goodbye Elizabeth." She laughed evilly. She pointed a gross looking finger out a window at the dark blue sky outside.

True to her word I was started to fade away in pink data.

I gritted my teeth. This couldn't be happening.

"Wormon I know of your true power, please let me borrow some of your power, so I can use my ultimate move, there might be a chance to save her." She instructed Wormon.

"Here take this." He yelled and threw a sphere that acutely looked like time, numbers of years and dates seem to zoom inside the spear. The angel digimon caught it and green energy seem to surround her. The song that accompany her digivoulation suddenly stopped. Diannamon pulsed with pink energy. "Pelemon your days of making deals with humans and digimon are over!" She yelled and seem to start crying. 'Angel's tears" she yelled.

Diannamon started to burst out in tears and the tears turn into darts and when the angel digimon pointed a finger at the witch digimon in front of her. The darts of tears turn into a blur of energy started to hit Pelemon so fast it was impossible to see any tears strike her at all.

Pelemon had her eyes close and when she open them and looked down at herself she looked perfectly fine. "Sorry Elizabeth, looks like you lose and I wi-" she was stopped sort when all of sudden Pelemon started to scream in pain light started to blast out at holes that seem to appear everywhere on her body.

"You stole the element of light now embrace it's fury." Diannamon yelled.

Pelemon burst into red data and flew inside of my digivice.

The scroll that Wormon was holding at this moment burst into flames which caused him to jump up and down in terror. "Oh shit! Oh shit!" he repeated and then the scroll seem to crumble away into dust.

I seem to be put back together instantly. "The deal is broken, thank you so much Diannamon" I said happily hugging the angel digimon in front of me.

Wormon gasp in offense. "Hey can't I get some sugar for helping out?" he asked angrily.

I smiled and picked up the bug digimon. "Thank you too Wormon." I kissed the bug digimon on top of his head.

"Hey guess what my back is better.' The worm exclaim happily. 'And now I will take you two home" he inform Diannamon and I.

"Oh that is good news." I said happily.

"Diannamon can you please give me back my powers." He instructed.

The angel digimon nodded and held out her hand and the sphere of time appeared in her outstretch hand.

Wormon started to click a couple of unseen buttons on the sphere. "Now that you killed Pelemon, everything should go back to normal." He inform us.

"Ok" I said excitedly. I couldn't wait to see my friends again.

"Also for future reference, can I still help you guys out when you guys fight against the sovereigns?" he asked with puppy eyes.

"What about your library?" Diannamon asked

"Yeah you left Guilmon in charge" I reminded him

"Don't worry, I will make sure every book and that the library won't burn down, and if it does I have enough money to rebuild it." He said with a smile.

"Ok, I guess I don't see any problem against it." I chuckled. "I just really want to go home now" I muttered

"Then let's go then" he yelled and threw the sphere into the air, green light surrounded the three of us, and just as fast as that happen the sphere went back into the worm's digimon hand's. And I stood in the same field where I had made the deal with Pelemon.

"Oh I am so happy to be back in the correct universe, can we get back home, so I can hug Phemon to death." Ratmon said in my arm.

I just realized Diannamon reverted back into her in training level form.

"Ok come on Wormon" I instructed and picked up the worm digimon and ran back to James' house.

When I ran into the living room my friends all had a look of sadness across their faces. "James:" I yelled.

I ran to James and hugged him. James was surprised by this but hugged he back. "Are you ok, you look like you saw a ghost, I mean do you want to tell us some-"James was interrupted when I kissed him.

Ratmon hop over to Phemon and Digivolve into Miragemon and hugged the bird digimon. "I love you, bird brain, never leave me" she cried into the bird's shoulder.

I notice all of my friends surrounding me. "Are you ok?" they asked.

I nodded. "All that matters now, is that I am with you guys, I miss you all, and I need to tell you what happen." I inform them.

Wormon: Ok, what happened in this episode was that Pelemon made a terrible deal with Elizabeth. Which changed Elizabeth's whole life. Then Elizabeth meet this most handsome, beautifully gorgeous worm called wormon. Then Elizabeth found out that Pelemon tricked her and found out that her part of the deal was twisted. That instead of her real dad she met her father's digimon . Once afterwards Elizabeth and wormon went out to beat up the ugly Pelemon before sun down. Before the deal is sealed. Once they went to the castle they found Miragemon and then started fight the ugly witch. Once in the fight Urielmon Digivolved to Diannamon. Then they finally beat the ugly witch. Once afterwards they teleported home. See what happens next time on Digimon Correction Ep 16 Deadly Caverns. But first let us take a wormfie!
