Sunset's apartment
6:30 p.m.

It has been about an hour into the party held by Pinkie Pie. Takato, while not exactly use to being at a party at all, had a lot of fun and enjoyed every moment. Even the new digimon seemed to enjoy it, ablit unsure of Pinkie's randomness. But it seems Candlemon rolled with his partner's antics, playing off each unexpected moment like it was rehearsed.
While the party was finally coming down from its high, Takato felt now was a good time to try and explain.

"I guess you girls are curious about a lot of what happened?" Asked the teen boy. He was expecting to be swarmed with questions, but was surprised when only two of the seven spoke up.

"I think it's best to start from the beginning probably. That way we can understand from the ground up." Stated Twilight. Sunset agreed with a nod before speaking her part.

"It is interesting how these beings came to us, as well as these Digi.....uh..."

Takato chuckles and nods.
"Okay. Also, those are digivices. Now, how should I start...?"
With that, Takato decided to start on talking about his favorite show growing up: Digimon, followed by the beginning of his adventures as a Digimon Tamer after acquiring his first digivice. Though the girls were confused by his claiming he had more than one, he did say he'd explain further in. Fluttershy did show some fear when Takato mentioned about his encounter with a Devidramon. The girls could tell Takato faced so much as a 10 year old and we're surprised how strong his will was. Upon hearing the start where a little digimon called Calumon was getting targeted by a group called Devas, the girls asked what he looked like. Upon showing a photo, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie all 'dawwww'ed over his cuteness. Rainbow chuckled over Calumon's apparent obsession over creme puffs, only for Pinkie to glare her down and whisper "Don't diss the creme puffs" in a menacing way.

"Dang. You've faced so much, Takato. How's it you seem so strong?" Asked Applejack. This however causes Takato to sigh a little.

"Honestly, I'm not sure how I was during those times..."

All the girls could hear the depressed tone, and Sunset didn't need to see his memories to know something bad happened.

"Want to talk about it?" She asked. While Takato was apprehensive about continuing, he nodded.

"My friends and I went to the digital world to save Calumon when he was taken by Makuramon, a servant to the Digimon Sovereign Zhuqiaomon. We did face many things that could make logic look welcoming in so many ways. When we got to the gate leading to Zhuqiaomon though..." Takato looks down, and Guilmon hugs him knowing it was still a fresh pain, even from 3 years ago, Guilmon continued.

"We met a friend who went bad for a while. Somehow, Impmon turned into a mega known as Beelzemon. He was so strong, none of us could exactly get close without taking a lot of hits. Then... Leomon..." Guilmon's eyes start to water. "He tried talking Beelzemon out of his quest for power, only to get deleted..."
This caused a collect number of gasps, and some tears are seen on the girls and their partners expressions while others show anger. The most concerned though were Sunset and Twilight. They both had a similar way of going bad and getting blinded by power. While they did have different reasons, they felt a similarity with this Impmon. Takato then nods, continuing.

"I was filled with rage suddenly, and that's a bad thing to have when your digimon is fighting. I fueled Guilmon to digivolve with my anger and hatred, which almost led to the destruction of the digital world as well by forming Megidramon. I highly doubt Fluttershy could bare seeing a sweet guy like Guilmon become that..." Fluttershy hides behind Rarity as somehow, the mere mention of the name scared her. "That led to my first digivice getting destroyed, because I let my anger blind me. However, not even Megidramon could beat Beelzemon."

The girls, getting an idea of how strong Megidramon apparently was, were shocked to hear even he was defeated.

"That's a bit much ta believe, Takato." States Applejack. "But ah know yer tellin the truth. Its just, hard ta swallow."

Takato nods, but smiles.

"Yeah, but in a way, I feel it was a blessing in disguise. After getting turned back to Guilmon, I rushed to defend him, not caring if I got hurt. But then," Takato and Guilmon look to each other smiling, "a miracle happened. Our wish to fight alongside each other became one, and somehow we ALSO became one. Thus, Gallantmon was born."

Everyone smiles at hearing this, but then Sunset frowns at one detail.
"You became one? I gathered that Digimon gain strength from their partners to digivolve, but how can a human and digital being MERGE into one person?"
Takato chuckles a little, giving a goofy smile.

"Well, you see..."

Before he could start, Twilight's phone starts to ring. She grabs and yo see what it was going off about, then gasps.
"Oh no! It's 8:35, and I told Shining I'd be home by 8! How can I explain why I spaced out, or even Dorumon for that matter?"
She starts to hyperventilate, leading to Pinkie quickly zipping over with a paper bag. The panicking girl takes it, inhaling and exhaling in it until she calmed down. Takato stared at this, not expecting her to be worried about being late. But he then recalled how he got a good earful from his mom one time, and that was because he thought Guilmon was scaring couples at Shinjuku park. He got up and walked over to Twilight, placing a hand on her shoulder with a smile.

"You know, I could help explain if you  want." Offered the young but experiences tamer.  Twilight smiled, but suddenly a voice catches everyone's attention.

"Hey girls! Why does it look like a warzone outside? I hope Pinkie didn't-"
Takato looked around, trying to find the source. However, Guilmon leans down, which is when the voice cuts out.

"Hi there!" Says Guilmon. Takato looked down, seeing a purple dog with green tuffs of fur. The pup was wide eyed and sweating. But Takato soon realizes something that isn't technically possible.

"M-m-MONSTER!" Cried the dog. Takato is suddenly slack jawed, unable to believe this dog just spoke. But Twilight stands and picks up the pup.

"It's fine, Spike. Guilmon is a friend. As well as the others here."

The dog, now identified as Spike, looked at the other digimon. If he said he wasn't surprised after seeing Guilmon, Applejack would be able to tell that would be a fib.

"Uh... Hi?" Spike waved a paw, which the Digimon return the gesture likewise or with a simple nod. Candlemon though goes over to talk with the newcomer.

"Hiya pup! I'm Candlemon, a party enthusiast and Digimon partner to the greatest party planner ever known, Pinkie Pie!"
As if on cue, mini fireworks go off and spell Pinkie's name. This causes the girl to giggle and snort in laughter.

"Oh he's DEFINITELY a keeper!"
