Joe puts his bike on the bike rack and runs off.

(Contest)

Announcer: Now, after a hard-fought battle, we announce the creppy-cute costume that seized the top prize!

All of my frends and I met up together at the back of the crowd.

Sora: Is it true that Biyomon's here too?

T.K.: Apparently so.

Luna: I don't think Bearmon would do something stupid like this...

Cassie shrugs.

Cassie: You have to remember. Our digimon are like children in their rookie forms. Their minds tend to wounder when food is involved.

Me: (mummbling) You can say that again...

Kari pointed towards the stage.

Kari: Oh no!

All of our digimon were on stage.

Announcer: And the winner is...Meicoo!

People cheered.

Matt: (angrily) What about Gabumon.

Luna bawled her fists.

Luna: Bearmon was tottaly the obvious winner!

A girl puts a medal around Meicoomon's neck.

Announcer: Meicoo, congratulations.

Meicoomon: (turn towards crowd) I'm so happy.

Crowd: How cute!

(Back stage)

Mimi: (yelling at Palmon) Unbelievable! I told you to keep sleeping!

Palmon: But it seemed like fun.

Labramon looked at me sadly.

Labramon: Sorry that we all left Izzy's office. We should have stayed there.

I frowned and shook my head.

Me: I'm glad you're here. Don't worry.

Labramon smiled and started to wag his tail happily.

Out of the corner of my eye, I look down at the wound...that Labramon caused. It was still covered by the bandage.

Meiko held Meicoomon close to her.

Meiko: Congrats Meico!

Meicoomon: You said it!

Agumon: Meico! I want to eat Yakisaba.

Gabumon: Right! It's free if we're with Meicoomon, isn't it?

Labramon: I want steak.

Matt: Hey, you guys. People think you're kids in animal costumes, so act a bit more unnatural.

Cupimon: I feel confused.

Bearmon: Your not the only one.

Biyomon: Instead of natural?

Gabumon: Don't confuse us.

Joe: Gomamon!

Joe found us all back stage.

Joe and I exchange looks. But it only lasted a few seconds because we looked away from each other.

Gomamon: Joe...

(School's roof)

Gomamon and Joe sat on a bench.

Joe: Why did you leave all of a sudden?

Gomamon was eating a small peice of a cookie.

Joe: Did something made you unhappy?

Gomamon: It's not that 

Joe: (angrily) Then what? You can't have left for no reason.

Gomamon: Just leave me alone.

Joe's eyes grew wide. He was taken back.

Gomamon: That's what you were saying to me, wasn't it? Why don't you say it already? You don't want me or Skylar around. You want to be left alone.

Joe: That made you angry.

Gomamon: I'm not angry.

Joe: Then what? If you have something to say, spit it out!

Gomamon: You're the one hiding something!

Joe: What?

Gomamon: You can't say you don't want to fight together anymore, can you?

Joe was once more taken back.

Gomamon: I'm a hindrance to you.

Joe: It is a hindrance, yes.

Gomamon: I knew it...

Joe: But not you! Why do we have to fight again? Why is it always us?

Gomamon: Because you're the digidestined, right?

Joe: (stands up) But wht are we? Why me!? If there's fighting to be done, people who want to fight should do it!

Gomamon: It's not like I want to fight.

Joe: Nor do I. There are so many things I have to do.

Gomamon: that's why it's better for me to keep away from you. If I'm with you, then you have to fight. That's what you think, isn't it? I won't run away.

Joe: So you think I'm running away?

Gomamon didn't answer him.

Joe gritted his teeth 

Joe: (yelling) Do whatever you want.

Joe runs off.

Gomamon: (shouting after him) Don't worry. I'll leave you alone. I'll leave you...(he starts to cry)

(Daters)

Palmon, Labramon, and Meicoomon hid under a table.

Meicoomon: (sighs) Mei.

Meiko looked over.

Meiko: Hey! Meico, you can't talk.

Meicoomon: (crying) I want to eat flan!

Palmon: We should have gone with Agumon and the others.

Labramon: (crying) Their probably full of food by now...

Meiko: Sorry. Hang on a second.

Meiko runs off.

The three digimon cheer softly.

Digimon: Flan!

Mimi and I: Meiko! Showtime!

The two of us held pom poms again.

Meiko: (holding a tray of flans) I can't dance anymore! I'm sorry!

She starts running away.

Meicoomon: Flan?

Palmon: Waah!

Labramon: And their goes our food...

Mimi: Ah well...

Me: Let's do this.

Mimi and I start dancing.

Meicoomon: (sadly) Give me a flan! Mei, you're being mean!

Meicoomon walks off while Labramon and Palmon watch their human partners dance.

The cat digimon walk down the halls of the school.

Meicoomon: Mei's so mean.

Hands grab Meicoomon from behins.

Maki picked up Meicoomon and smiled at her.

(Soccer feild)

Tai kicked a ball into the net.

Tai: I did it!

His teammates cheered.

Agumon: (cheering) Nice goal Tai!

(Back of school)

Joe ran away from the building.

Kari look over to see him.

Kari: Joe?

Joe cotinued to run but he stopped.

Kari: (running towards him) Joe! Where's Gomamon?

Joe: I'm going home. I have to study. Why me? Why? Someone give me a reason that makes sense!

Joe walks away.

(Garden)

Maki placed Meicoomon in front of the garden.

Pink flowers grew all around.

Maki: Wait here. I'll get you a crepe or something.

Maki walks off.

Meicoomon starts to play in the flowers.

(Daters)

Mimi: Meicoomon is gone?

Palmon and Labramon looked scared.

Me: Don't worry you two. We will find her 

Meiko looks off im the distance.

Meiko: Meico.

(Garden)

Meicoomon was rolling around in the flowers. A huge grin was on her face.

A distortion started to appear next to her.

Meicoomon looked over at it, with a worried look.

From the distortion, the digimon emperor appeared. Ken smirks as he looks towards Meicoomon.

(Festival)

A student holds out two ice creams to Maki.

Maki: Thank you very much 

Daigo ran over to her.

Maki: What's wrong?

Daigo: (whispering)  a distortion appeared. Behind the school.

Maki drops the ice cream.

Maki: Oh no! (the two start to run) It's all my fault. I let my guard down. I made a mistake leaving Meicoomon's side.

Daigo: (shocked) Meicoomon.

(Garden area)

Mimi, Meiko, and I saw Ken holding Meicoomon.

Ken smirked at us.

The three of us gasped when we noticed him standing in front of us.

Meicoomon: (screaming) Mei!

Mimi: Ken?

Me: (yelling) Where is Davis and the others!?

Leomon jumped off the building from above. He threw his disguise off. The lion digimon landed in front of us.

Leomon: Let Meicoomon go!

Ken took Meicoomon into the distortion.

Meicoomon: (crying) Leomon!

Leomon eyes shot open wide. His body started to be covered with purple and red data. Leomon fell to his knees and grabbed the side of his head.

Me:(disbelief) No...it can't be...

But I knew it all to well...Leomon was infected. And their was no way that I could lie to myself about this.

Mimi, Meiko, and I ran to his aide.

Meiko: What's wrong Leomon?

Meicoomon: Mei!

Meiko ran towards the distortion.

Meiko: Meico!

Me: Wait! Meiko I don't think that's a good-

But it was already too late. When Meiko touched it she was sent sprawling backwards. The distortion had shocked her.

Mimi: Meimei!

Me: Meiko!

Meiko: (crying) Meico! Meico!

Meicoomon: Mei!

Mimi: What should we do?

Palmon ran towards the distortion.

Palmon: Meicoomon!

The plant digimon went through.

Mimi: Palmon.

Palmon: I made it in. Mimi, I'll go.

Mimi: Palmon, wait!

Palmon: I want to save Meicoomon. You feel the same, right?

Mimi gasped.

Palmom: It'll be fine this time.

Palmon runs further into the distortion.

Mimi: Palmon!

Labramon tried to jump out of my arms.

Labramon: She can't go alone!

I held him close to my chest.

Me: No your not going!

Labramon: (growling) But I need to help fight. I need to help get Meicoomon back!

I narrowed my eyes.

Me: I forbid you to go into that distortion!

Labramon barred his fangs.

Labramon: (coldy) You don't own me...When did you become such a coward.

I gasped.

Gomamon runs past us.

Gomamon: I'm going too.

The seal digimon jumped through the distortion.

All of us: Gomamon!

Leomon grabbed Mimi's shoulder and slowly got to his feet.

Mimi: Leomon!

Me: Please don't go.

Leomon: Don't worry. Leave it to me.

Leomon ran through the distortion.

The others ran towards us.

Tai: Mimi!

Sora: Meiko!

Cassie: Sky!

Cassie and Luna ran to their sister.

Luna: (worried) Where is Meicoomon!?

Meiko couldn't her sister. She was shaking with fear.

Bearmon: I don't like this one bit.

Mimi: Guys! Meicoomon's been taken by Ken!

Palmon, Gomamon, and Leomon looked towards Ken in the distortion.

We all looked through the distortion.

All the others could see he was dressed up like the emperor again.

T.K.: Him again...? Why?

Cassie put a hand over her heart.

Cassie: Who is he?

Me: (mummbling) Ken is a friend of ours. Back in the past he was controlled by a dark spore, which caused him to take over the digital world. I'm shock that it's controlling him again. I thought he learn how to control it...

(Distortion)

A red figure started to take shape in front of them. Rings of white light started to reveal the creature's true colors. The creature was DarkImperialdramon.

Maki: It's...

Daigo: Imperialdramon!

Me: This can't be! How is this possible?

Cupimon: Cassie he scares me.

Cupimon flew into Cassie's arms and started to shake.

Cassie: Cupimon...?

Izzy: Something is wrong.

Agumon: Let's go too.

Labramon did this time struggled once more, and finally I let go off.

The dog ran with the other digimon to the distortion but it shocked all of them.

Agumon: But Gomamon and Palmon went through.

Biyomon: Why can't we?

Tentomon flew towards Izzy. He was currently typing on his laptop.

Tentomon: The distortion's shut tight.

Izzy: Some extraordinary force might be shutting out penetration from the outside. (He gasps) The distortion!

It closes in front of us.

(Distortion)

Palmon: The distortion vanished, we have to go alone.

Gomamon: Okay!

We all surronded Izzy with his laptop.

Tai: What the heck is happening Izzy?

Luna: Is there anything we can do to get our digimon in there? Only one of those digimon can digivovle, and I don't like those odds.

Izzy: Please wait! I'm trying to monitor what's happening inside. Here we go.

(Distortion)

Imperialdramon flew towards the three digimon. He fired his cannon towards them, sending a blast of purple light at them.

Leomon, Palmon, and Gomamon were thrown about. But looked unharmed.

Leomon punched Imperialdramon on top of his head.

Imperialdramon flung him off of him, and Leomon landed away to safety.

Meicoomon: Leomon!

Leomon: Hang on Meicoomon! I promise I'll save you...

Leomon let out a pain cry and grab the side of his head. Red and purple data surronded him once more.

Palmon and Gomamon: Leomon!

Mimi: It happen again!

Matt: Again?

Me: The same thing happen ealier.

Izzy: Could Leomon be infected.

Cassie's eyes shook with fear.

Cassie: Than my theory about our digimon can't be infected is wrong. (Panicking) Theirs nothing we can do... One by one (crying) All of them will become infected.

Luna looked at her sister with worry.

Luna: Cassie....

Leomon open his eyes to show white pupils.

The lion let out a loud roar.

Imperialdramon fired another blast at Gomamon and Palmon.

The two rkokies were sent skidding backwards.

Mimi: Palmon!

Mimi's digivice let off a white glow.

Palmon: Palmon digivovle too...

Togemon: Togemon!

Togemon started to punch Imperialdramon repeatedly on top of his head.

Togemon: Neddle spray!

The needles did no damage what so ever. They just bounced off harmisly.

Imperialdramon roared and knocked her away.

Sora: Togemon can't do it alone!

Gabumon: Darn it! Can't we plunge in there somehow.

Labramon: I could have possibly went as well...(he turns to face me. Coldy) But someone stopped me...

Everyone look at me with confused looks.

I put a hand over my heart and looked away. Tears appearing in my eyes. Why was i going to get blammed if...if I want to protect Labramon? If he had went in there...he would die...no ifs or buts about it...

Biyomon: Is there no way to go through this computer?

Tentomon: How about it, Izzy?

Izzy: I'm afraid not.

Gomamon let out a battle cry and pounced towards Imperialdramon. Imperialdramon slapped hik away. Gomamon once more tried to pounce at him. But the dragon just slapped him away again.

(Bike rack)

Joe grabbed his bike. He notices his bike chain was broken.

(Distortion)

Leomon let out another blood curly roar as the dark data continue to surrond his body.

Gomamon fell to the ground.

Togemon: Gomamon.

All the Digimon:  C'mon Gomamon, you can do it!

Matt: It's too much for Gomamon.

T.K.: Gomamon has to digivovle.

Kari nods and runs off.

Gomamon slowly looked up at the mega level digimon.

Gomamon: How embarrassing.

Imperialdramon was getting ready to fire another blast but Togemon punched him in the face. Imperialdramon grabbed Togemon with his maw.

Mimi: Togemon!

Imperialdramon then threw her far awag into the distortion.

(Bike rack)

Joe was trying to fix his bike chain.

Joe: Drat! Why does this have to happen?

Kari walked over to him.

Kari: Joe. It's Gomamon. He is fighting.

Joe's eye widen.

Kari: Joe, you said you wanted a reason right? A reason for what, for fighting? Or a reason why we are the digidestined?  you forgot something important. You and Gomamon were chosen together as partners. Do you need a reason for that? Who cares about being an adult or a child? You two are partners.

(Distortion)

Imperialdramon fired a blast of energy at Gomamon. The seal jumped, but he was sent sprawling to the ground due to the force of the blast.

Gomamon: Joe...

Joe: Gomamon...

Joe starts to run in the direction that Kari came from. Kari followed after him.

Imperialdramon loomed over the seal digimon. The dragon was getting ready to fight another blast.

Gomamon: (stastic surronded him) I think I'm done for.

He closhed his eyes.

Matt: Run Gomamon!

Tai: Gomamon!

Me: (crying) Gomamon!

Joe ran next to me. I looked up at him and he placed a hand on my shoulder.

Joe: I'm sorry Sky.

My face started to burn dark red, and my heart skipped a beat.

Joe turn away from me and turned to Izzy's laptop.

Joe: Gomamon!

The seal slowly opens his eyes.

Joe: Gomamon!

Gomamon: Joe!

Joe: I'm here now.

Gomamon's eyes grew wide. A smile appears across his face.

Gomamon: I was waiting.

Joe: Go, Gomamon!

Gomamon: Here I go.

Joe threw his hand out.

Joe: Go, Gomamon!

Joe's digivice begins to glow brightly. His digivice screen reads evolution and another bright glow emerges from the blue digivice. White pieces spiral down towards Gomamon.

Gomamon: Gomamon digivovle too...

The white pieces form an egg around Gomamon, engulfing him inside of the digivoultion egg. The digivoultion egg flouts upwards and begins to grow brighter and turn bigger. A body figure of a quadrupedal walrus appears. It has a heavy fur coat, and a large horn on top of his head. The numbers 0 1 2 are on the walrus digimon's body in different patterns. A golden ring flies down towards the walrus digimon and the designs of the digimon appear. The walrus has white color fur, the horn on top of his head is dark gray. 

Ikkakumon: Ikkakumon!

Ikkakumon was surronded in a cold mist.

Joe smiled when he saw the champion digimon.

Ikkakumon: Harpoon torpedo!

Imperialdramon tried to fly away but the attack still hit him in his back.

Joe's digivice begins to glow brightly. His digivice screen reads evolution and another bright glow emerges from the blue digivice. The digivice turns dark gray and the buttons turn to a light gray.

The crest of reliability fell from above. Ikkakumon phased through the glowing credt 

Ikkakumon: Ikkakumon super digivovle too...

A figure took the walrus's digimon place. It was a musucular walrus standing on it's hind legs. It had a giant turtle shell on its back. 0 1 2's were written across his entire body. Yellow rings surronded his body started to reavel his designs. When that process was over the walrus held out his right hand and a hammer appeared. The walrus held up the hanmer and placed it against his back.

Zudomon: Zudomon!

Zudomon: Hammer spark!

Zudomon threw his large hammer at Imperialdramon. This caused the digimon to skid backwards. Zudomon's hammer came flying back to his hand.

Zudomon was brought into a white digital space.

Zudomon: Zudomon mega digivioultion!

Yellow rings appeared underneath his feet. The rings then flew past his body and over his head. As this happen his appearance changed to a viking like walrus digimon. He had sheilds for shoulder pads, a jacket that went on his shoulders. He wore rings on his large fingers, and a small viking helmet on top of his head with large horns.  The viking open his closed eyes and a yellow ring started to remove the data that covered his body. Hammer spikes appeared on the digimon's back in white light.

The viking digimon beat his fists together.

Vikemon: Vikemon!

Rustic chains appeared behind the mega level digimon.

Vikemon: Artic blizzard!

Vikemon's spike hammers were launched from a cannon and hit Imperialdramon.

(Outside of distorion)

My eyes shook with disbelief.

Me: Vikemon?

The others were just as shocked as i was.

Izzy: What's that one? I never saw that form before.

Mimi looked over at Joe and I.

Mimi: Joe...

Joe: I didn't need a reason. Yet I made Gomamon wait forever and kept putting him off.

I slightly started to smile at Joe. He caught my smile and returned it.

Mimi: (smiling) Jikochu, I guess?

Joe: I think you're fine that way too Mimi?

Me: (determinded) Who do we need right now Mimi? Fake Mimi, or the Mimi who never gives up. Show them the power of sincerity!

Mimi gasped and smiled at the two of us. She looks back at the fight.

Mimi: Togemon!

Togemom: (hurt) Mimi...

Mimi: Give it all you got!

Mimi's digivice begins to glow brightly. Her digivice screen reads evolution and another bright glow emerges from the blue digivice. The digivice turns light green and the buttons turn to a orange.

The crest of sincerity fell from above.

Togemon: Togemon supee digivovle too...

The crest of sincerity phase throw the cactus digimon and a large pink flower took her place 

The flower started to open up and Lilymon came out of the flower with her hands held together. She opens her eyes and flew into the air. The flower she was in turned into pink data and flew away. The flower girl digimon spun around and started to giggle.

Lilymon: Lilymon!

Pink petails flew past her.

Lilymon held out the palm of her hand. A yellow flower grew around it.

Lilymon: Flower cannon!

Imperialdramon let out a pain cry when the attack hit him.

Mimi and Lilymon: Not done yet!

Lilymon was brought into a white digital space.

Lilymon: Lilymon mega digivoultion!

Yellow rings appeared underneath her feet. As the rings past her a taller finger appeared in her place. The figure had a flower covering most of her face. She wore a dress, with large boots, and a cape around her neck. In her gloved hands were throrn whips. Her body was covered in 0 1 2s. A yellow ring came from above and started to remove the data. Her design appeared.

Rosemon: Rosemon!

A red rose appeared behind her and burst into petails.

Rosemon: Forbidden temptation!

Rosemon fired a blast of red light at Imperialdramon. Imperialdramon changed into his fighter mode as dust surronded him.

T.K. and Kari gasped.

Vikemon pounced towards him, while Rosemon got ready to hit him in his stomach, and Rosemon lashed out with her vine in his face.

Vikemon then punched  Imperialdramon FM in the face.

Imperialdramon fired his cannon at Vikemon but the viking blocked it with his sheild on his right shoulder.

Vikemon slammed into him and him with spiked hammers.

Leomon was still on the fround, trying to fight the infection. The lion open his eyes slowly.

Imperialdramon open the cannon in his chest. Rosemon fired a blast of red light. The two attacks collided and caused a huge explosion of power.

Vikemon and Rosemon landed on the ground away from Imperialdramon.

The drafon knight digimon was aiming another attack at the two of them. Currently the two were shaking and they couldn't move.

Leomon pounced from the air and punched Imperialdramon in the face. He then struck him with his sword.

The blast of energy was fired away from Vikemon and Rosemon.

Imperialdramon fell to the ground.

Leomon looked over at the two.

Leomon: Now!

Rosemon: Forbidden temptation!

Vikemon: Artic blizzard!

The two attacks caused Imperialdramon to burst into green data.

Vikemon, Rosemon and Leomon stood together.

All of us: They did it!

The green data flew off.

The digimon looked towards Ken.

Leomon: Here I come, Meicoomon!

Ken smirks, he flies down in front of them and sets Meicoomon down in front of them. He then smirks and faded away in blue data.

Leomon walked over to Meicoomon. Bukamon and Tanemon were by his side.

Leomon walked out from the distortion. With the three other digimon held to his chest.

Meiko, Joe, and Mimi ran over.

Meiko: Meico!

Meiko held out her hands but the cat digimon held onto Leomon.

Tanemon: Mimi!

Tanemon hop out of Leomon's arms.

Bukamon: Joe!

The little seal flew over to him.

The two digimob hop into their arns.

I looked over at Labramon.

Me: I'm sorry Labramon...

Labramon: (a hurt looks appears on his face) I'm sorry i called you a cowrd. But...I want to protect you...and I want to help my friends.

Me: I know...

The two of us hug.

T.K.: Ken. Why did he appear?

Kari: And Imperialdramon, too?

Joe: Bakumon, you were amazing.

Bakumon: Thanks.

Izzy: You both went into mega digivoultion. What would cause that to happen.

His eyes shot open and he open his laptop.

Izzy: Could it be. Know the darkness, and go beyond. Could it be a prophecy for mega digivoultion?

Cassie stood next to him.

Cassie: It would make sense. The darkness that Joe faced with cowardness, and Mimi was not being true to herself.

Izzy nods.

The two looked over at Mimi and Joe.

Mimi: Huh?

Joe: Is there something on my face?

Izzy: It's nothing.

Leomon: What's wrong, Meicoomon? Everything's okay now.

Leomon held out the cat digimon, in front of him and smiled.

Leomon: Chin up.

Tai and Matt looked at each other, the two frowned at one another.

Leomon: C'mon there's nothing to be afried of.

Meicoomon recalls Leomon being controlled by the infection. Leomon closed his eyes, and once he opens them they were dark purple 

Meicoomon gasps.

Meiko's digivice turned black with red buttons.

Tai and Matt smiled at each other.

The sound of claws ripping into skin was heard. The noise was sickening.

All of my friends and I looked over at where Leomon and Meicoomon were. All of us had shocked expressions.

Leomon had purple and red data started to surrond him. He fell backwards onto the ground.

Meicoomon was flouting over him in midair. Her claws were dark eed and longer.

Tai and I: Leomon!

Sora: What's happening.

Luna: I...never knew Meicoomon...could turn into that...

Meicoomon's eyes glew bright white.

Leomon: What can be wrong? It's... fine...now...

Meicoomon let out a loud roar.

All of my friends and I watched in terror. Unknown to us Maki smiled at the back of the group.

Meicoomon let out a blast of red data at him.

Leomon's apperance quickly changed. As this happen Leomon let out a painful cry. His fur became a dark purple, his paints became ripped, a rip caged bones appeared on his chest. Bone spikes apprared on either side of his shoulders. His mane changed from a golden blonde to a midnight black, and his blue eyes became a dark chilling red.

MadLeomon: MadLeomon!

Kari: Nooo!

Me: The infection...is complete...

Meicoomon and MadLeomon turn to face us.

Meiko: Meico!

The two digimon jumped into the distortion. It closed behind them.

Agumon: Wait, don't go!

Tai: What, just happen?

Meiko: Meico!

Cassie and Luna ran to their sisters side.

But before they could reach her Meiko got to her feet and ran away.

Meiko: (crying) I'm sorry!

Cassie and Luna: Meiko!

Daigo and Maki walked away.

Daigo: You're fine with just leaving things as they are now?

Maki: The distorion has closed and we can do no more. We must consider our next course of action.

Daigo: Why in the world did this happen?

Maki: The distortions began and the infected digimon appeared for the same reason. It is all due to...Meicoomon.

Okay next chapter is a fan made one! So I hope your all excited. This chapter will be a Skylar and Jeremy based. Yes Jeremy will appear. So get ready to see what will happen?
