(Skylar's P.O.V.)

T.K. walks into Izzy's office.

T.K.: Joe?

Joe turns to look at T.K.

Joe: (waves) Hey T.K.

T.K.: Where's Izzy?

Joe points to the right side of the room. I stood over Izzy who had wrapped himself in a blanket, and he was crying loudly.

Izzy: I had a fight with Cassie!

T.K.: How long has he been like this.

Me: Were going on the fourth hour...

Joe: Should we help him?

I sighed as I put my hand over my face.

Me: I don't think anyone can help him...he's Izzy...

T.K.: He must feel responsible about yelling at Cassie...

Joe: Well I get how he feels. (Joe looks at me, as I patted Izzy on his shoulder. I look up and saw he was staring at me)

Me: (confused) What?

Joe: Nothing. (He sighs and changes the subject) I'm still surprised on what happen to Meicoomon. It's been the worst thing ever.

Me: (saldy) Me too... (I look over at the digital space, I stared at Labramon and Leomon) I just hope no other Digimon will get infected...(I bawled my fists) We can't let our friends get controlled by that...

T.K.: Well Leomon was cured. And Labramon doesn't seem to show any more signs of the infection. And hopefully we won't have to worry about the others.

Joe: I hope so, but...

T.K.: It really will turn out that way if we're too pestimistic.

Joe and I: Right.

I turn to see Izzy had fallen asleep.

Me: (sighs in relief) Great he has fallen asleep.

Patamon's voice: T.K!

The digimon were waving at us.

Patamon flew out of the digital space.

Patamon: T.K.!

T.K. catches the bat digimon.

T.K.: Patamon!

Patamon: Ah, I finally got out!

Gomamon started to yell in the digital space.

Gomamon: How unfair! I'm coming too!

Labramon: I want to hang out with Skylar!

The digimon started to hop out of the digital space.

Gatomon: Me too!

Tentomon flies over to Izzy, who was still sleeping.

Tentomon: Have you been in there the whole time?

Patamon: Yep.

Bearmon sits down in a chair.

Bearmon: That wouldn't have crossed my mind...(he sighs sadly) You know honestly I miss Meicoomon and Cupimon...

Me: Because they were both your friends?

Bearmon: The first friends I ever had. We watched out for each other.

I smiled at the bear and messed with his hat.

Me: Don't worry. This whole fight situation will blow over. And Cassie will being Cupimon back. An before you know it, we will have Meicoomon cured of the infection as well.

Bearmon smiles up at me.

Tentomon looks at Joe, T.K. and I.

Tentomon: Izzy is getting neurotic. We were trying not to interfere with his work.

Joe is holding Gomamon, while I held Labramon.

Agumon: It's okay now, right?

Labramon: I hope so...I didn't know Izzy could be so mean...

Leomon: He is just worried about trying to find a cure for the infection. He has a lot of pressure on his shoulders.

I nodded to agree with the lion digimon.

Gomamon: I want snacks.

Labramon: You just read my mind.

The digimon all ran to the chairs, while Joe went to a cabnit to grab some snacks.

Leomon and I stood next to each other. I had a question on my mind.

Me: Leomon?

The lion looked at me.

Me: I thought your mega digivoultion was SaberLeomon, but when you mega digivovled you turn into BanchoLeomon. Do you know why?

Leomon shrugged his shoulders.

Leomon: I was confused about that as well. But it reminded me of what happen four years ago. When Jeremy and I were locked together in that cage, and I touched his D3, that caused me to become his digimon partner. But also Azulongmon told me that it alter my data to be able to amour digivovle. Maybe it alter my data for my mega digivoultion as well.

Leomon tilted his head, as I look down at my digivice.

Leomon: Your still worried about something.

I laughed as I rubbed the back of my neck.

Me: I'm not worried. Quite the opposite, I was still surprised that Labramon reached the mega level. Anubismon was really amazing. And I can't wait to see him in action again.

T.K. hugs Patamon closer.

T.K.: It really is lonely without you!

Patamon: (wags his tail) T.K.!

Data particles appeared on Patamon's tail.

T.K. gasps and looks at Patamon tail.

Patamon: (laughing) That tickles!

T.K. looks Patamon in the eyes.

Patamon closes his eyes, and when he opens them, it was completely white, and their were no pupils. Patamon barred his fangs and started to struggle in T.K.'s arms.

T.K. tried his best to hold him,but it was tough.

Patamon bit down on T.K.'s arm.

Joe and I look over as T.K. cried out a little.

Joe: T.k?

Me: (worried) Is everything alright?

Joe layed down some snacks in front of the digimon.

T.K. falls to his knees and continues to hold the struggling Patamon. The bat digimon had started to growl like a wild animal.

Joe and I slowly walk over.

Joe: What's wrong?

T.K.: Nothing

Me: Is Patamon okay?

Patamon trembles and closes his eyes. He opens them to show his regular blue eyes.

T.K. sighs in relief.

Patamon: T.K., your squishing me.

T.K.: Ah, sorry.

Joe: What are you doing?

T.K.: It's been a while, so I'm happy.

I smiled at him, but my eyes slowly moved to his arm. Where a bit wound was plain as day. The wound was covered with fresh blood.

My hand went up to my mouth and my eyes grew wide.

Patamon...no...he couldn't be... maybe...it was an accident...or one of Izzy's lab equipment tools fell over and pierced into T.K.'s arm. Or he got that wound from a dog on the way over...

Joe: (worried) Sky are you okay?

I quickly nodded.

Me: Sorry...( I smiled brightly) I just remembered I have some homework to do.

Joe nods. He turns back to T.K.

Joe: Don't go too crazy. Izzy will be mad if you break his stuff.

T.K. stands up and nods.

T.K.: Okay.

Patamon looks at T.K.'s arms to see his wound.

Patamon: T.K...

T.K.: It's nothing

T.K. grabs a cloth in his pocket and wipes away the blood.

Patamon slowly looks up at T.K.

T.K. smiles at him.

T.k. started to rub his face against Patamon's.

Patamon: T.K., I'm ticklish!

*later*

T.K. is picking up snack bags.

I was busy brewing a batch of coffee. The smell of the chocolate caffeine drifted through the air. I smiled brightly.

I look down at my neck to stare at the necklace that Cassie made me. I miss wearing that tag...

But know I could wear this necklace, that had the symbol of justice attached to it.

I grab the symbol of justice and sighed. I hope my friend was okay. Maybe I should check on Cassie tomorrow after school.

Izzy was still deep asleep. His snores filled the room.

T.K.: Hey, Joe....Sky, if...if...

Agumon is stuffing his face with snacks.

T.K.: Patamon and them are infected, what'll we do?

Joe: (confused) What will we do?

Me: T.K., is everything alright.

T.K.: I mean if they were.

Joe: It's likely we'd have to fight them, like how Jeremy fought Leomon.

T.K. looks taken back.

Joe: Were asking Izzy to research so we don't have to, right?

T.K. starts to walk to the door.

T.K: Right. (Pauses) Joe, Sky. I'm going home.

I nodded and grab a coffee mug.

Joe: Ah, okay.

Me: See you later T.K.

I started to fill the coffee mug.

Me: Hey Joe? Do you like suger with your-

Joe suddenly jumps to his feet.

Joe: Oh what? Your taking Patamon!?

T.K. looks back at him and smiles.

T.K.: Oh I shouldn't?

Joe: Of course not!

I started to pour some suger in the coffee. And grab the mug. I slowly started to walk over to the two.

T.K.: But isn't it risky to gather the digimon all in one place? In case something happen?

Joe puts a hand to his chin.

T.K.: Like I said, worst case scenario...there could be a mass infection.

My heart stopped. And the mug fell from my hands.

Joe: Stop!

The mug slammed into the ground, and shards of the mug fell to the ground.

The two look over to me.

Joe's angry demeanor changed to a look of worry.

Joe: Sky, are you okay?

I nodded.

Me: I just, dropped a mug. (Laughing) I guess...butter fingers? Right?

Labramon walks over to me, and he had me hold out my right arm. One of the shards had slash into it somewhat.

Labramon: I can clean it.

I nodded and allowed the dog digimon to sit me down in a chair.

The other digimon had their gazes at Joe and T.K.. Joe looks back at T.K., his angry demeanor returns.

T.K.: ...Sorry.

Joe: (sighs) No, I mean...

T.K.: I just wanna be with Patamon, to be blunt.

Joe: Everyone feels that way.

Labramon nods.

Labramon: I do. I miss my family.

Labramon wipes the cut on my arm with a wet cloth. I barred my teeth as pain flared through my arm. 

Labramon called my family. His family. He was really close to my brother, my parents, and I. He truly became part of the family. And I couldn't imagine life without him.

Patamon: I wanna be with T.K.!

Joe: What!?

Patamon: I wanna be with T.K.! I wanna go home with you! I'm going home!

Patamon was holding onto T.K. tightly.

Joe: No, you can't!

Joe grabs Patamon but the bat digimon holds tight to T.K.'s shirt.

Patamon: No, no, no! I'm going home with T.K.! I'm definitely going home with you!

Joe looks taken back.

Leomon: Just let him go.

Joe sighs and nods.

Joe: Izzy isn't going to like this...

Me: You can say that again...

(Outside)

T.K. is holding Patamon in one arm, while he holds an umbrella with another hand.

Patamon: This is great, T.K.!

Patamon smiles at him brightly.

T.K.: Yeah.

Patamon: I did good, right? You looked really troubled, so i definitely wanted to go home with you!

T.K. catched his breath, and slowly breathe it out.

T.K.: Let's go home.

Patamon: Okay!

(Meiko's apartment)

Luna and Meiko were at the front door of their apartment. Their mother stood behind them. The two sisters wore their school uniforms on, and they were putting on their shoes.

Mom: Meiko, are you okay?

Meiko: (nods) Yes.

Luna wrapped an arm around Meiko's neck and held her close.

Luna: Don't worry, I will watch over my sis.

Their mother nodded.

Mom: I just hope your sister Cassie comes out of her room now. She has a fever...and she won't stop crying...

Luna: She...just might be stressed out about exams.

Mom: I guess...

Their mom sighs and smiles brightly.

Mom: See you both later.

Meiko: See ya.

Luna: Love you.

Meiko and Luna walked down the sidewalk together.

Meiko stops for a breif second. But the girl shakes her head and slaps her face. A look of determination crosses her face.

Luna: (smiles) Don't worry. Everything will be okay.

(Cassie's room)

Cassie rolled around in her bed. Her blankets covering her face, as tears streamed down her face.

Cassie: (sobbing) Stupid...stupid...stupid.

Cupimon stared sadly at the figure shifting in her bed.

Cupimon flew over to her bed and tap Cassie on her shoulder.

Cupimon: Cassie...

Cassie looked up from her blanket sheild. And wipe some tears from her eyes.

Cassie: Cupimon...

Cupimon: (softly) Why didn't you go to school with Luna and Meiko?

Cassie: (sadly) Because...um...

Cupimon: (smiles softly) See you don't even know. (Cupimon walks closer to Cassie) I don't even remember a time when you ever missed school. You love it too much.

Cassie: (hiccup) Well...

Cupimon: I know you Cassie. Even though you deny it. You may say you won't forgive Izzy. But your forgive everyone eventually. You care too much about people. That's what I like most about you. You never give up on anyone.

Cassie smiles somewhat. But stops when a memory flashed before her eyes.

(Eight years ago)

A young Cassie ran through the woods.

Young Cassie: (sobbing) It isn't fair!

Young girl's voice: Cassie!

The young Cassie continue to run. Tears stream down her face as she ran at a full sprint.

She suddenly gasp as she trip over a tree limb and fell face first to the ground.

Cassie cried out in pain, and started to sob loudly.

A sound of rustling was heard. And a young Luna ran out of some bushes.

Young Luna: Cassie!

Young Luna ran by her sister's side.

Young Luna: Are you hurt?

Young Cassie: Why does Meiko get to have a cat!? It's unfair...doesn't dad love us too!?

Young Luna frowns.

Young Luna: Of course he does.

Young Cassie crosses her arm over her chest.

Young Cassie: No he doesn't...I hate him! I will never forgive dad...

The two girls stop as they heard crying in the distance.

They both got to their feet. And they ran in the direction of the crying. When they reached a small clearing. They notice two small creatures in the clearing.

One was a small blue puff ball like creature. It was kickball shaped. It had light blue and dark blue colored fur. It had dark green eyes and a tiger like tail.

It was hopping around worried as he stared at a thron bush.

Male voice: Don't worry. Everything will be okay.

The sisters looked to see a small creature was caught in the throns.

The creature had a white like body, it was really small, and it had large ears. A red diamond symbol was in the center of her foward.

Female voice: Wanyamon! Please help.

Wanyamon bit his lip. The small blue puff ball didn't look like he knew what to do. 

Young Luna grabbed her sisters arm.

Young Luna: Maybe...we should leave.

Young Cassie: No! They need our help.

Young Cassie ran over to the thorn bush.

Young Luna: (yelling) Cassie! Mom said I needed to protect you!

Young Cassie slowly grabbed some of the branches of the thorn bush and rip them away. She bit her lip as the throns dug into her skin. But she was finally able to pull the small creature out of the bush.

The creature frown.

Female voice: Thank you so much...my name is Calumon...sorry for the trouble I caused you...

Young Cassie shook her head.

Young Cassie: You're no trouble at all. (Smiles) I forgive you.

The small creature blinks and smiles back.

Cassie smile turn to confusion as she felt something in her hand. She slowly held Calumon with her right hand, and look down at her left hand. A small white device look back up at her. And a necklace like object sat next to it, inside the necklace was a stone like object with a strange symbol in the center.

Young Cassie: (confused) What are these?

Calumon: That's a digivice. And that necklace is a tag, with a crest in it. I was looking for you! (Cheering) I was looking for you Cassie!

Young Luna looked down at the blue puff ball jumping over to her.

Wanyamon: (shyly) I have something for you as well.

He pushes a white device, and a tag with a crest in it with his nose to young Luna.

Young Luna slowly picked up the items. And stares back down at Wanyamon.

Young Luna: Thank you.

Wanyamon: No problem. It's a pleasure to finally meet you Luna.

*present*

Cupimon: Please Cassie, don't allow hatred to flood your heart...

Cassie smiles and hugs the small angel digimon.

(School, Skylar's P.O.V )

Meiko and Luna walked together in the school hallway.

Luna looks at her sister.

Luna: Have a good day. I have to meet with the other hall monitors before school starts.

Meiko nods and walks over to her classroom door.

Meiko stood outside her classroom door. She was uncertain if she should walk in or not.

Sora ran up to her.

Sora: Meiko, good morning!

Meiko: Good...morning...um...my breakfast...I ate enough!

Sora smiles.

Sora: Great!

The two walked into the classroom. Meiko sits down at her desk.

A squel was heard and Mimi ran over to her. She quickly hugs Meiko.

Mimi: Morning! MeiMei!

Meiko: G-Good morning.

Tai, Sora, Jeremy, and I walked over to them.

Meiko looks at Tai.

Meiko: Um...sorry for making you...

Tai holds up a hand.

Tai: Ah forget about it.

Matt: No. Don't make us worry so much.

Jeremy: (teasing) Wow...I can't believe it...Matt's heart grew three sizes today.

Matt barred his teeth and punched him in the shoulder.

Matt: Idiot!

Tai, Sora, and I were all laughing.

Me: Wow Jeremy! That was a good one.

Jeremy rubbed his arm where Matt punched him.

Jeremy: (chuckling) It was worth it.

Meiko: (shyly) My apologies.

Sora: It's okay! What Matt really wants to say is that he was worried.

Tai: He is quite conflicted.

Mimi: You're such a tundra! Tundra!

Matt: (yelling) No! You don't know Japanese!

Tai: Hey.

Meiko: (looks at Tai) Yeah...

Tai: About Izzy. He's investigating this with all his heart...he says it's all he can do. So...

Mimi: Okay already!

Mimi hugs Meiko.

Mimi: MeiMei totally gets it. You're just bothering her.

Tai: Ah...sorry...

Meiko: (shaking her head) No, it's on me. I have to apologize to Izzy.

Mimi: I don't think you need to.

Matt: You're making things more complicated.

Mimi: No way, seriously?

Sora waved it off.

Sora: That's not true at all! I'm sure he'll find something! And a way to save Meico, too!

Meiko: Right.

(Bridge)

All of us were standing under the bridge.

Jeremy and I stood next to each other. The two of us were talking about our science class, and our end of the year project.

Luna was standing slightly away from us. She had her arms across her chest.

I knew Cassie had stayed home today, and Meiko and Sora were still at school.

Tai turns to face T.K.

Tai: You took Patamon home?

T.K. nods.

Joe: Izzy was mad!

Me: (mumbling) You can say that again...he wouldn't stop yelling at Joe and I.

T.K. turns to look at Joe and I.

T.K.: Well Patamon said he hates being without me.

Jeremy: How do you think the rest of our digimon feel? Do you really think they like being locked in a digital space for hours on end?

Matt nods and looks at his brother.

Matt: Stop being selfish!

T.K.: It's really fine! If anything happens, I'll take him back ASAP.

Sora was running over to us with a huge grin on her face, she was pulling Meiko along with her by the hand.

Mimi: Meiko!

Meiko smiles at all of us.

Meiko: I'm glad to see you all again.

Mimi: (mumbling) Isn't it unfair that only T.K. can take Patamon home? Everyone wants to be with their digimon!

T.K.: Sure

Joe: Well, they all started complaining that they wanted to get out, not just Patamon. So, Izzy asked for Sky and I hear everyone's opinion.

I nodded.

Me: (sighing) Labramon wouldn't let go of my leg, when Joe and I were trying to leave...but I have to admit, I miss having him around.

Jeremy puts his hands in his pocket as he leans his back against the wall.

Jeremy: I even miss the training Leomon and I used to do. Even though it sometimes ends in someone getting hurt...I still have a scar on my right arm, when he cut me by mistake...

Sora: Well, I also want to be with Biyomon, but...

Matt: We'd have to defeat them.

T.K. turned quickly to his brother. Anger was completely written across his face.

T.K.: Don't talk like that!

Everyone look at T.K. with shock across their faces.

T.K.: Defeat...aren't they our friends?

Matt: Sorry...

Meiko: It's okay...

Tai: T.K. that's why we shouldn't just go and take them out.

T.K. looks down sadly.

T.K. remembers being in his room. He was holding Patamon, and that bat's eyes glitches with data. T.K. frowns when he sees that.

Patamon: What's wrong T.K.?

T.K.: Nothing. It's okay.

Meiko: T.K.?

T.K.: Patamon and them will definitely be fine. I want to be with them as much as I can.

Matt: Jeez.

I understood where T.K. was coming from. I wanted to be with Labramon as well...but I think Jeremy and I would share the same fear. Leomon and Labramon were both infected once...what's happens if they were both infected again...

Mimi puts her hands on her hips.

Mimi: It's unfair if only Patamon gets out, right?

Jeremy: I think Leomon could careless.

Mimi: I know that! But what about the others?!

Joe: So, how about we let everyone out just this once? They'll stay at Izzy's office during school, and we can go pick them up after.

I quickly hugged Joe.

Me: You always make the best ideas.

Joe blushes and returns the hug.

Tai laughed.

Tai: That's funny, because I faintly remember that you told him in the past that he comes up with the worst ideas ever. Not only that, you also called him Mr. Party pooper.

I sighed angrily and looked up at Joe.

Me: One moment please.

I let go off Joe and quickly walked towards Tai.

Tai: (scared) Sky?

I walked up to him and slapped him in the back of the head.

Me: My job is done.

I walked back to Joe and resume hugging him.

The others sweat dropped.

Luna: Well after that, let's try to get back on topic.

Sora: I agree with Joe. We won't take our eyes off our digimon when were together, and we'll get in touch immediately if something's wrong.

Mimi: It's like a kid going to preschool!

Joe: We're basically their parents now.

Me: (shouting) But I'm not ready to be a mother!

Tai:(teasing) Don't worry, Sora's becoming more motherly.

Kari: it's not a joke, we should take care at least that much.

Jeremy: We have to make sure nothing goes wrong with our friends. They would do the same thing for us, if it was the other way around.

Tai: Right! Let's go pick them up!

Mimi: Pick them up!? You won't have them forwarded.

Meiko starts backing away from us. she was clearly uneasy about all of this.

Luna: Think about this Mimi, they could get infected if they crossed the net. It would be safer if we pick them up ourselves.

Mimi: Oh...That makes knock on wood, right?

Sora: You're really mixing things up.

Mimi: Matt, what'll you do? Nothing, since it's a high risk?

Matt: Gabumon'll have a grudge if he's the only one left!

Me: (teasing) He's acting like he has no choice in the matter.

Sora: But your actually happy, right?

Mimi: Your a tundra!

Matt: I said that's not Japanese!

Joe: Then let's strike while the iron is hot!

Kari: Everyone...

We all looked slowly towards Meiko.

Mimi: (worried) I'm sorry MeiMei.

Sora: We got too carried away.

Luna: Meiko...

Meiko waved it off.

Meiko: Ah....don't worry about me. Please go to pick them up. The digimon would be happy.

Sora: Thanks.

Joe: Okay, for now let's pick them up today and see how it goes.

My friends and I waved at Meiko and T.K, as we walked away.

Meiko and T.K. stood next to one another.

T.K.: Sorry. This is because I took Patamon out.

Meiko turns to him and smiles.

Meiko: It's okay. Well, I'm going home. Goodbye.

She starts to walk away.

T.K.: Meiko!

She stops and looks back at him.

(beach)

Meiko: (shocked) Patamon is...?!

T.K: I'm the worst. I lied when I said Patamon and them are fine. But I really couldn't say the honest truth...

Meiko: (whispering) The honest...truth...

T.K.: What should I do? I might not be able to save Patamon...At this rate...what if Patamon...

T.K. starts to cry.

Meiko: I'm sorry

Meiko starts to cry as she holds onto her bag tightly. Her eyes were closed shut.  

Meiko: I'm sorry...I'm so sorry...Everything is my fault...

T.K. looks over to her.

T.K.: No...I'm sorry. I didn't mean to...It's not your fault. I'm sorry. And everyone was doing their best to cheer you up. I...I...

Meiko shakes her head.

Meiko: No! I'm sorry...

(T.K.s apartment)

The sun started to set when T.K. arrived home.

He stood outside his room for a brief second. Until he finally open the door.

Patamon was flying in the air waiting for him.

T.K: I'm back.

Patamon flew to him.

Patamon: Welcome back, T.K.!

T.K. caught Patamon in his arms and laughed as the bat digimon hugged him back.

T.K.: I didn't bring any gifts.

Patamon: No, I don't need any. I'm just happy to be near you!

T.K. frowns

Patamon's tail started to glitch.

T.K. gasps

Patamon laughs and wags his tail.

Patamon: That's been randomly happening today. Weird, today?

Patamon looks into T.K.'s eyes with a huge smile.

Patamon: Hey T.K., I'm infected, aren't I?

T.K. gasps again.

Patamon: Just like I thought!

T.K.: Patamon...you...

Patamon: That's why you took me from the others, right? Just like Meicoomon, Labramon, and Leomon, I'll... 

T.K.: (shouting) It's okay! It'll definitely be okay!

Patamon: (softly) Hey, T.K....

Patamon eyes started to water.

Patamon: If I get violent...finish me off.

T.K. drops his bag.

T.K. : Don't say that!

Patamon: I don't want to make everyone sad.

T.K. started to shake.

T.K.: No way I can do that...

Patamon: I'm at peace with it. Because I have the memory of being able to meet you! I'm not afraid.

T.K. started to cry.

Patamon: Sorry...I know it'll make you sad.

Tears streamed down T.K.'s face.

T.K.: ...Patamon...

Patamon tried to wipe his tears away.

Patamon: Don't cry

Both of them started to cry as they hugged each other.

T.K.: Patamon...

Patamon: T.K.

T.K. and Patamon were still hugging as the sun sets, and the moon is high in the sky.

The doorbell chimes.

Patamon: Someone's here.

T.K. opens the front door to see Matt and Gabumon.

T.K.: Matt

Patamon flies off T.K.'s shoulder.

Patamon: Gabumon!

Gabumon: We're home!

Matt: What happened?

T.K.: Huh? What do you mean?

Matt: The lights aren't on...

The hall lights, or any other lights in the house were all off.

T.K. Ah, you're right! I didn't notice.

T.K. turns on the hall lights.

Matt and Gabumon sat at the dinning table, while T.K. was in the kitchen.

T.K.: What made you come over?

Patamon sat on the counter top drinking from a glass of orange juice happily.

Matt: Oh...well...

T.K.: You fought with Tai again?

T.K. fills two glasses with orange juice.

Matt; (annoyed) I didn't fight with him.

Patamon flew over to Gabumon with a candy sticks. Gabumon took one and bit into it.

T.K.: With Sora, then?

Matt: Why would I fight with her?

T.K.: With Skylar?, Jeremy?, Joe?, or Mimi?

Matt; Why do you think I must have fought with someone?

T.K.: Isn't that your way.

Gabumon: I kind of agree.

Matt: You shut up. It's not about me.

T.K.: Huh?

Matt: You're the troubled one.

T.K.: Yeah...

T.K. sets down the drinks and sits down.

T.K.: I'm worried...

Patamon remains really quiet.

T.K.: That you might break up your band again...

Matt: What?

T.K. snickers

Matt: (yelling) You little!

Matt gets up from his chair and started to give T.K. a noogie.

Matt: Don't say "again"! We're fine this time!

T.K. Oh, this "time"

Matt: Hey, you! Jeez...

T.K.'s phone rings.

T.K. checks his phone to see it was Sora calling.

Matt: Not picking up?

T.K. answers.

T.K.: Hello

Matt drinks from his orange juice.

(Sora's Apartment)

Sora: Yeah...Yeah! I'm fine if you're fine. I was just a bit worried. Sorry bye, then!

Sora hangs up.

Biyomon: Who's next?

Sora: Izzy

Sora puts her phone to her ear and hears the line pick up.

Sora: Ah, Izzy? Thanks for before. Yeah. Not going home today, either? Are you eating? Yeah...Yeah...call me, if anything happens. Okay, bye!

she hangs up.

Biyomon: Sora, you always put your friends before yourself.

Sora: (laughing) Do I?

Biyomon: Yeah!

Sora: Well, with so much is happening, I get worried.

She rubbed the back of her neck as she smiled brightly.

Biyomon: Well, I like that you're so obliging.

Sora: Thanks! I'm the mom of the group!

Biyomon: What about you?

Sora: Huh?

Biyomon: Please take care of yourself more.

Biyomon: (chuckles) Not possible, huh. But, that's one of your good points.

She stands up and walks to her.

(Jeremy's apartment)

Jeremy sat on his couch. He was on his cell phone typing away.

Leomon who was still in his disguise look over at his friend.

Leomon: Jeremy...I still haven't...

Jeremy looked over at the lion and shook his head.

Jeremy: Leomon you don't have to apologize for that. You were being controlled by the infection, you had no control over your body. I personally know that you wouldn't hurt me intentionally.

Leomon rolled his eyes at my joke.

Leomon: Who are you texting?

Jeremy: Mimi

Leomon: You two are talking again?

I nodded.

Jeremy: We were able to start talking to one another again, at the school dance. (pause) Hm...Mimi sent me a link...and she also sent another text that says...oh my gosh! I can't believe it...

Jeremy clicked the link and a video pop op on his phone. Leomon walked over to stand behind Jeremy so he could watch the video as well.

When the video started to play a pink haired women appeared. Her hair was cut really short and her eyes were a bright green. She wore a short sleeve light pink t-shirt and blue shorts.

Pink hair: Hello guys, this is your announcer Emily. And this time on Talent we are looking at recent internet star Skylar Ruby. She sang a very popular song called angel with a shotgun. With so much positive reviews, it's still a wonder why this popular singer isn't posting more music. Her fans want more! Where are you Miss Ruby?!

Jeremy and Leomon stared dumbfounded at the video.

A sign with the words "doors opening" started to glitch

Power all over Japan suddenly turned off.

(Runway tower)

Five men were all shocked to see the power to go off around them.

Man 1: The power went out!

Man 2: Switch to the back up power!

Man 3: I can't. It won't switch on!

Man 4: But the power is still coming...

A computer turned on and a eerie voice starts coming through the intercom.

Distorted voice: The time for destruction has come. Digimon shall be released again. (Meiko, Cassie who held Cupimon in her arms, Luna who had Bearmon held close to her were all sitting on the couch watching the events happening before them on the T.V., all of them were shocked.) Your world completely relies on digital infrastrures...which are so fragile. It is merely a house of cards. It's time to play the prelude to the catastrophe.

(Tai's apartment)

The news was broadcasting

News lady: Power outages over Odaiba occurred at 7:52 pm yesterday. The power has been recovered, but the cause is still unknown. It is thought the mysterious messages shown in some areas may be related. People everywhere are buying emergency supplies due to the outages.

Kari: (worried) Digimon shall be...released again...

Kari's and Tai's mother was doing laundry on the terrace.

Mom: You two still here? You'll be late for school!

Kari: Okay

Mom: Oh, and can you get eggs on you way back? Oh, and milk too!

Kari: Got it!

Tai: This is becoming a big issue in society but mom's the same as always.

Agumon puts a paw on his stomach.

Agumon: I'm hungry

Gatomon: Didn't you just eat?

Tai: You haven't changed either?

Agumon blinks and for a brief second his left eye glitches.

(Izzy's office)

Izzy was typing quickly

All the digimon stared at him closely.

Agumon: What's wrong, Izzy?

Izzy ignores him and continues to type on his computer.

Palmon: He's a bit scary.

Labramon: I wish...he would talk to us...

Tentomon: Okay, have a seat. I'll serve tea.

Agumon: And snacks.

Tentomon flies over to a refrigerator.

Izzy growls at an error message.

Gabumon: He got startled.

Gomamon: Like a shrimp.

Tentomon: Izzy hasn't been sleeping. And it seems the news this morning strained his nerves even more.

Gabumon stepped forward and gestured for the other digimon to follow him.

Leomon: Wait, shouldn't we stay here?

Labramon: Isn't it boring in here?

Leomon sighs in annoyance while he watches some of the digimon running out of the office.

Leomon: Well someone will have to watch after them...

Leomon puts on his hat and coat and ran out of the office.

Two men in a limo watched the digimon leave.

A man put a phone to his ear.

Man: Director. The digimon exited Izzy Izumi's office. Shall we take them into custody?

Maki: (on phone) Follow them.

(Middle school)

Kari walked down the hallway. She frowns at other people's concerns about the power outages.

(rooftop)

T.K. sat on the rooftop by himself.

Patamon's voice is heard in his head.

Patamon: If I get violent...finish me off

T.K. sighs and looks up at the blue sky.

(Hallway)

Kari continued to walk until her phone went off.

Kari: (confused) I turned this off... 

She looks at the screen with confusion. The phone still rings.

Kari clicks answer and puts her phone to her ear.

Kari: Yes?

Kari's eyes go wide. Her arm falls down and her body started to glow.

Kari: (voice echoing) The time...is coming...
