The children discovered that the Digimon World was actually a digital world generated from within Earth's computer networks. Meanwhile, Nanomon, who had once been crushed by Etemon and sealed within the pyramid, used the children to get his revenge. Just when they were close to being defeated, Nanomon escaped, taking Sora and Piyomon with him. But Taichi gripped by fear of death, failed to catch him.

Everyone in the group wanted to save Sora and Piyomon. However, they didn't know how to go about it just yet. They were currently back at the other end of the sphinx so that Etemon couldn't find them. The group was however assembled around a campfire, while the two youngest, Chihori and Takeru, was eating together with the Digimon. Koushiro was also not present since he was tapping around on his laptop in order to see if he could find something, anything that could lead them to the rescue of Sora. He hoped he could find Nanomon's trail.

"We don't know where they are" Jyou stated logically "There is no choice but to wait for Nanomon to make a move".

"But what will we do if he hurts Sora while we were waiting?" Taichi sneered rather fiercely. He was still beaten up pretty bad about Sora getting kidnapped. Ryuhei really did feel for him, but like Jyou stated, they couldn't do a thing yet.

"Nanomon's goal is to defeat Etemon" Yamato then stated, "Maybe if we beat Etemon first, he will set her free?". Ryuhei hummed to that.

"But we lost to him earlier" Mimi then pointed out.

Silence uttered all around them now. No one said a peep. Mostly because they ran out of ideas. Takeru and Chihori were looking at the group with worried eyes too, along with all the digimon's. That until Chihori stated that they all had to eat, so they were ready to fight any time. As the fire of the campfire dulled out, Chihori and Takeru were fast asleep along with their partner and the other digimon. Ryuhei couldn't keep smiling as he watched his sister literally squeeze the life out of Gazimon for a sec, before falling asleep using his chest as a pillow. The sweet meows from Gazimon was cute too. They were a strange pair indeed.

"If I'd just gone to save Sora that time" Taichi uttered suddenly getting everyone's attention. Ryuhei even sighed at that.

"Stop putting all the blame on yourself. None of us could help either" Jyou said.

"Yeah there must be something we can do" Yamato added in.

"Yeah so stop feeling sorry for yourself!" Ryuhei sneered "You might have lost her once, but it is not the end of the world. When another opportunity strikes you just have to fix your error and save her this time".

"Oh Yeah! Who knows when that ever would happen!" Taichi yelled back at him. In that moment however Koushiro rushed out of the pathway, they created to get to the pyramid. That had after all been the place, he had been at all this time.

"Guys!" Koushiro then shouted as he waved at them to get their attention "I figured it out! Come quick!". Ryuhei send Taichi a knowingly look.

"You were saying" he replied in a teasing matter.

A bit later, after they all had woken up their partners and youngest siblings up, they were at the pathway, looking at the map of the pyramid, Koushiro's computer had generated. It was the map Nanomon had given them but were shown much more of the hidden stairway and even other rooms too.

"Nanomon only pretended to escape somewhere. The reality is that he hasn't gone very far at all" Koushiro explained and pointed at the map.

"Then..." Ryuhei mused out slowly.

"Is he still inside the pyramid?" Taichi uttered rather stunned.

"Yes. I found a hidden room, that exists underneath the pyramid. In the deepest of depths" Koushiro explained as he expanded the map for everyone to see. "There is no doubt that Sora and Nanomon are there".

"He was hiding right underneath Etemon's nose" Jyou pointed out surprised.

"Sora is in there..." Taichi mused as he walked closer to the map. His hands were clenched into angry fists before he turned towards the others again "Everyone, I know it will be dangerous, but I want to do whatever it takes to save Sora, so...".

"We know that Taichi" Jyou then interrupted with a smile.

"Yeah we feel the same" Yamato added in.

"Sora-san is a close friend amount all of us" Mimi also stated and smiled.

"Yeah, let's save her together" Takeru and Chihori ended up saying together. They looked at each other in bewilderment, before they began laughing out loud.

"You guys..." Taichi said slowly, but then nodded encouraging. They were so going to save Sora now.

In the meantime, in the hidden room of the pyramid.

Sora was slowly waking up. She felt rather groggy at first, but that soon changed however as she saw her partner Piyomon chained into the wall.

"Piyomon!" Sora uttered only to find herself chained to a table by locks at her wrist and lock. She was captured! What was going on here?

"It is best not to struggle" a voice then suddenly said, and Sora noticed Nanomon a bit away from her. He was tapping on a giant computer keyboard. "Piyomon only lost consciousness. I need her to defeat Etemon for me". Sora looked perplexed around as she noticed she was somewhere in a strange computer lap. Then she remembered Nanomon's words and sneered angrily.

"Etemon?! Too bad for you, but Piyomon can't evolve without me" Sora said rather confident. That only made Nanomon look up at her.

"I am not planning of using you" he stated before turned around towards the keyboard. He began tapping like crazy, which made the table, Sora realized this was in fact some kind of machine, run some weird kind of scanner down to her feet. Surprisingly, Sora also noticed a matching set at her left side, but that table was empty. Sora wondered what all this was.

"What is all of this?" she questioned rather confused.

"Watch and you will see" Nanomon replied with. Sora had no idea what he meant by that until a lot of data on the other table began assembling into feet. They almost looked identically to Sora's. That only made the girl even more confused.

"I am copying you" Nanomon then said and chuckled "None of you have drawn out the power of your crests at all. That's why I will use this copy of you to pull out that power". To prove his point, he summoned a crest who he had stored for some reason.

"My crest!" Sora uttered rather shocked "So you really had it. You coward, just because you can't win on your own you take someone else's power". Nanomon didn't really respond to her words, as he pulled out her digivice and tag from somewhere too. The crest of course resonated with the tag, showing this was in fact Sora's crest. He even tapped a little more on the keyboard to make the scanner go a bit further up before he responded to her.

"When I once fought against Etemon. I lost most of my memories in the process" Nanomon then said "Those memories will no longer return. The only thing I can do now is to exact my revenge on Etemon! By any means necessary!". Sora didn't know what to say to that. She just hoped her friends would come save her soon.

Time skip.

Monsters were stationed all around the pyramid when the children poked their heads out from the sphinx in order to assess the situation. By the help of Taichi mini telescope, Tentomon and Koushiro's computer, the chosen children have established the different positions of all of Etemon's digimon minions. They even created a digital map of the place and were now looking at their options.

"As you can see here, this is how the digimon are currently positioned around the vicinity of the pyramid. It will be impossible to sneak in unnoticed" Koushiro pointed out showing the map in midair for everyone to see.

"That's why we will be acting as the decoys" Yamato said slowly.

"That's right" Tentomon replied.

"While we pull the enemies away with our diversionary tactics, Taichi, Agumon, Ryuhei and Renamon will use this chance to raid the pyramid" Jyou explained "Koushiro would guide them to where they need to go, got it?".

"Yeah" mused Taichi and glared at Ryuhei "But why do I have to team up with the know it all? He would just be in the way". Ryuhei chuckled at that.

"More like you would be in the way. You were the one messing up last time" he replied making Taichi hiss annoyed and he would properly have said something hadn't it been for the others stopping him.

"Taichi, Ryuhei did ask for this" Jyou remined him which made Taichi sneer.

"Besides Renamon is a more ninja like digimon. Stealth is a priority here" Yamato also pointed out making Taichi sigh in defeat. He looked over at Koushiro.

"I am counting on you to direct us towards the right path Koushiro" Taichi then said making the computer geek of their group nod in agreement. He did look worried.

"Something wrong?" Ryuhei then asked slowly.

"We need to get through this hidden passageway to get into the room, but the wall here is electrified. Just like the place Nanomon was previously in" Koushiro pointed out making Taichi eyes widen in fear. It was like before with the net of electricity. He could once again die. That idea made him shutter for a second.

"We will deal with that when we get to it. Right now, we just need to proceed with the plan" Ryuhei pointed out, making the others nod in agreement.

"I... I will save Sora this time!" Taichi then uttered surprising everyone around. Then smiles were shown on their faces and Mimi even pointed out 'that of course he would'. It was time to start of the plan to invade the pyramid.

Time skip.

Ryuhei and the others were standing in the mouth of the sphinx as they were all staring down the scene in front of them. Etemon's minions were stationed all around the pyramid. Just as Tentomon's entail had told them. That was the reason for their plan after all. They had decided to split into more or less three teams. Ryuhei, Taichi and Koushiro entered the pyramid with their digimon in order to save Sora. Jyou, Yamato and their digimon were staring a diversion for letting the others manage to get inside the pyramid, while Mimi was taking care of the two youngest Takeru and Chihori. None of them wanted those two to enter this dangerous mission.

"Saving Sora kun is our first priority" Jyou reminded the first team "Don't take any unreasonable battles if you can help it".

"You guys should also avoid doing anything impractical" Koushiro replied back rather firmly "If Etemon shows up, we won't mind if you run...".

"We know" Yamato mused and looked up at his little brother "Did you get that Takeru?". The little boy nodded in agreement. Ryuhei's eyes wandered to Chihori for a sec as he patted her on the head.

"The same goes to you" He stated firmly. Which only made Mimi chuckle.

"Don't worry I will protect her" She said, "Just make sure you all come back safely". A promise they of course all made here and there. They rushed out of the sphinx, all taking their respective positions. Jyou and Yamato being in different places around the desert, while the others where hiding underneath a sandy blanket, that went in one with the round. They couldn't be seen by the naked eye. All they were waiting for was the plan to start.

With Etemon and his minions.

"Harpoon Vulcan!". The loud roar of an attack could be heard, as missiles hit the pyramid and woke up all the Gazimon who was sitting in the control room.

"What...what was that?" One of them uttered as they turned on the monitor. Only to find another missile firing at their cameras.

"Woah watch out!" one of the Gazimon said as Ikkakumon continued to barrage the pyramid with his attack. An action who of course woke up Etemon too. The king of all the digimon sneered angry as he walked inside the control room, wearing his night robe. All which he tossed over to one of his minions.

"What's all this commotion?!" The ape hissed angrily.

"Ikkakumon is attacking!" One of the Gazimon answered quickly.

"What?!" was all Etemon managed before a new attack hit. All which of course made the ape send out his minions to counterattack. Gazimon's, Monochromon's and Tyranomon's all charged at Ikkakumon and Jyou who could be seeing in the horizon a little away. Suddenly however, Garurumon with Yamato on his back attacked from somewhere at the remaining footropes with his "Fox fire" burning away the remaining digimon. It didn't kill them though, only forced them to follow him in pursuit as well.

"The chosen children are running away!" one of the Gazimon exclaimed as both Ikkakumon and Garurumon were running away on the scene.

"Grr what is going on?!" Etemon hissed confused "What are they plotting and have no one of you found Nanomon yet?!".

"I-I'm sorry sir. Nanomon seem to have messed with the network, so the search functions are greatly destabilized" One of the minions tried explaining.

"Never mind. If you ever find him, make sure to contact me" Etemon only replied as he began leaving the room "I'm going to kill the nuisances I see before me first". Then he walked out of the building and jumped up on his trailer van, making the Monochromon pulling it ruin wild.

"I'll settle things with you all today" Etemon then shouted to the thin air,

A bit away, Taichi and his group watched as Etemon drove away after Yamato and Jyou, having a silent prayer that they would be okay. As soon as they were sure the cost was clear, Taichi, Ryuhei, Koushiro and their digimon began their mission towards the pyramid.

"Be careful!" they could hear Mimi shout in the background. They entered the secret passageway minutes later.

"Be careful. Some passageways may be blocked now due to our battles yesterday" Koushiro remined them, only to stumble on a rockslide blocking their paths.

"Oh, this seem to be a dead end" Agumon uttered, making Ryuhei tsk.

"Guess we have left the hidden passageway for a bit" he began and slowly stuck his head out "Renamon and I will go first. Then you follow...". Only to find Taichi outside already with Agumon. He did however get tackled to the ground rather quickly by Renamon and Ryuhei.

"I told you to wait!" Ryuhei hissed.

"What no one is here!" Taichi sneered angrily "I need to save Sora".

"Last time you were here, you mentioned Cameras" Ryuhei hissed "Who says they took them down yet. Renamon Camera's".

"Two in that direction" Renamon mused "If Taichi had walked further...".

"I get it, but we still need to save Sora" Taichi hissed.

"Just remember to be careful" Ryuhei replied as he got off him. They continued on pretty quick. Not knowing something got in fact picked up on the monitors.

Outside the battle was pretty fierce. Ikkakumon and Garurumon were fighting the minions of Etemon pretty well, but Mimi couldn't keep that nagging feeling that something was about to happen.

"I am worried about Jyou sempai and the others" She then said as she crawled out under the blanket. "Let's go Palmon!". Her digimon partner nodded as it evolved into Togemon and began carrying Mimi on its glove.

"Stay here okay" Mimi then said to Takeru and Chihori as she joined the battle. The two small children nodded, but Gazimon were not thrilled about this.

"I hate this waiting!" he yelled up "Etemon will join the battle soon and he will. He will...!". Gazimon was lost for words as his partner looked confused at him.

"Gazimon is something wrong?" she asked. The mammal digimon hissed.

"I got to do something too. If I don't, he might end up killing them. Just like he did Her years before!" Gazimon uttered and ran out of the cover, following Togemon trail. Chihori of course rushed after him seconds later.

"Dark spirits!" Etemon shouted and fired one of his well-known attack. The green ball of energy hit his minions and Jyou could see the cruelty happening up close. He was currently riding Ikkakumon's back and had just been witnessing Etemon kill of all his minions. That digimon apparently had no qualms here.

"You're all in my way!" Etemon sneered as he walked out of the smoke. He was staring down Jyou with intense glare now.

"Etemon!" Jyou uttered in a scared tone.

"I will personally take down the chosen children" The ape stated and smiled gleefully.

In the meantime, inside the pyramid.

Sora felt rather horrified as tremors could be heard from what she suspected were outside of the pyramid. It scared her that she had no clue on what was going on.

"Those children are very perceptive" She could then hear Nanomon muse. "It appears they have found out where I am located".

"Then these impacts..." Sora questioned slowly.

"They are holding a battle outside" Nanomon informed her "Several of the children have invaded the pyramid in the confusion. But I will not let them interfere!".

"Taichi!" Sora mused worriedly.

In the meantime, with Etemon.

"Dark spirits!" Etemon shouted as he tossed his attack once again at the running Ikkakumon. Joey was right by his side as they tried to dodge attack after attack from the crazy ape digimon. Not that he was letting them though.

"You think you can escape from me?" Etemon questioned as he cut of the digimon and its chosen child. He smirked evilly as he was about to attack once again.

"Fox fire!" Garurumon shouted as he fired his special attack.

However, the ape managed to dodge it pretty easy. Togemon also joined the brawl as the cactus digimon fired its "Chiku, Chiku, bang, bang" attack. Its sharp needle at the crazy ape. Etemon however either dodged them or reflected them back towards his opponent. Ikkakumon and Jyou had to take cover or they might have been hit by the attack.

"I see. You're showing up one after the other. Aren't there more of you? Where are they hiding?" Etemon questioned as he started down the three adult digimon.

"We don't need to tell you!" Yamato sneered back at the ape king.

Like it was a cue, Garurumon charged at Etemon. Only for it to be lifted up in the air and being swung around by his tail by Etemon. Soon he was sent flying back to Yamato. Ikkakumon charged next. With his walrus body he tried to overpower Etemon, only to be lifted up in the air, like he was nothing. The strength this ape digimon was having was astounding and just like Garurumon he was send flying back to their partner.

"Ikkakumon!" Jyou uttered in pure distress and he rushed over to his partner.

Togemon once again tried to fire its signature needles at Etemon, only to find that the ape this time had grabbed some of the needles with its bare hands. One he was using to peek his teeth. The others were sent flying at Togemon. The cactus digimon let out a scream when its own attack hit it, and it fell to the ground rather defeated.

"I was just a little off my guard yesterday, but you are not getting away from me this time" Etemon then stated confidentially and were soon holding up his signature microphone. "It is time for my love serenade!".

The other digimon let out a groan of pure distress. If this attack hit, they would lose whatever strength they were having and go back to their child form. They needed to get up and fight back! Sadly, none of them had the strength to do so. All they could do was wait for the inevitable.

"I won't let you!" a voice suddenly shouted, and a groaned surprised shout could be heard from Etemon.

The other digimon looked in disbelief as the ape digimon actually got tackled to the ground. More because he was caught off guard than anything else. A cat like rabbit digimon was standing before him and were surprisingly holding the ape king's microphone in his hands.

"Who dare to hurt the king of all digimon!" Etemon hissed as he got up from the ground and tried to grab the missing microphone, who was of course not there. "Wait?! Where is my microphone?!".

"I got it you big brute!" Gazimon sneered as Etemon turned towards it.

"Well look who we have here...The little rascal" Etemon chuckled "No wonder I didn't see it coming. You blend in nice with my other minions, you traitor!".

"Gazimon!" another voice shouted and Chihori entered the battle, looking scared and stunned up at the ape digimon, who was now chuckling darkly now.

"And what's this? You teamed up with that child over there? Do you not have any honor at all" Etemon snorted out "As a former guard of my royal court, I thought you knew better than to fraternize with the enemy. Especially since I exiled you and branded you as a traitor. Now be a good kitty and give me back my microphone, so I can kill these children off. If you do, I might even give you a chance as my minion".

"Gazimon?!" Chihori questioned rather puzzled as she stared as her partner.

"It will be okay Chihori. Don't worry" Gazimon replied reassuring "I will never join that self-proclaimed king ever again. I finally know why I was named the rebellious Gazimon, and I could not be prouder". He pulled his scarf away to reveal his cross scared mark over his chest.

"I remember everything now. This mark you branded in my skin because I went against you and attacked you, because you killed my friend, another Gazimon, right in front of me. All because she is in the way!" Gazimon hissed angrily and glared at Etemon "All she wanted was an autograph, but you were in a hurry and didn't even care. You never do. You swapped her away like she was a fly. The attack was devastating. She was killed on the spot, and no one cared. Besides me!".

"Hmm a touching story kiddo, but I really don't have time to listen to babble about revenge. Nanomon already filled my head with enough nonsense" Etemon sneered annoyed.

He charged at Gazimon with so quick movements that all Gazimon managed was a quick jump up in the air, only for it to be slammed down in the ground by Etemon's left hand. Gazimon let out a painful groan as he dropped the microphone a little away from there.

"Nice try kiddo, but you are no match for me" Etemon taunted "No revenge. Nothing. Must be disappointing after all the effort you did to become a chosen child's digimon". Gazimon let out a deep growl as he started angrily up at the ape digimon.

"No, you are all wrong. I am no longer driven by revenge" he then managed to say "In the past I know I was, and that was the reason I erased my own memories at the spring to start anew. I met Chihori and the others. That's ten times better than any revenge". Etemon chuckled darkly at that.

"All that matters kid is power" the digimon responded and smirked "But don't take my word for it. Take it to your grave!".

"No! Gazimon stand up! You can do it!" they could suddenly hear Chihori shout.

"Chihori!" Gazimon responded fiercely and grabbed the ape digimon's hand and tried to push it off him "I have to get up. For her sake!".

Light emitted around the rabbit cat digimon and forced Etemon to let go of him because the light was too sharp. Even with him wearing sunglasses.

"Gazimon Shinka Dobermon!".

When the light disappeared Dobermon was in Gazimon's place and he growled loudly at Etemon. Everyone, including Dobermon himself were stating in awe here.

"I... I evolved?!" Dobermon questioned puzzled "But I thought...".

"Yay! Yay Gazimon you evolved" Chihori uttered cheerfully "Piccolomon said you would. As long as I believe". Dobermon looked bewildered at his partner.

"Ah I see, the problem was not that I have given my powers away to save Petermon, but because my heart wavered. I can fight now!" "Dobermon proclaimed firmly.

"Oh, really Kid?" Etemon said and chuckled "I commend you for being able to evolve but it all stops here. Because of my love serenade".

Without warning Etemon began singing his tortures music that made every single digimon around degenerate. Chihori and the others looked in horror as all their digimon returned back to their base form. Even Dobermon were Gazimon again.

"Oh no. He is just too strong. We cannot win" Jyou uttered in pure panic.

"No! There must be something we can do. We can't give up" Yamato uttered.

"Now to finish you off!" Etemon stated. He was holding a ball of pure dark energy now "Dark...".

"Etemon-sama!" it could suddenly be heard from the loudspeakers from the pyramid. One of his minions were talking now "We have trouble! The rest of the chosen children have invaded the pyramid".

"What?! Why would they do that?!" Etemon uttered rather loudly as gears were turning inside his brain. "Wait those two were taken. Does that mean Nanomon is still inside the pyramid? Am I right?". He turned to face the children and digimons only to find the place completely deserted.

"Ehh! Where did they all go? Answer my question!" Etemon shouted in annoyance. Then shrugged "They won't be able to fight for a while in their current stage anyway. I'll savor my time killing you off later".

Then he ran towards his wagon who now headed towards they pyramid. In the background however, covered by this camouflage cloak were the rest of the children hiding, and they looked on as Etemon now left their area. For now, they were safe.

"You and the cloth were a big help. Thank you Takeru!" Yamato thanked his little brother, who had been the one to rescue them when Etemon were distracted.

"Tokomon helped out too" Takeru pointed out which of course made all the other chosen children thank the digimon as well.

"Did you see? I evolved!" Gazimon bragged "I can finally evolve too".

"Yeah sure, but you didn't do much in battle" Gomamon pointed out.

"He... He just caught me off guard. That's all!" Gazimon defended "Next time I will defeat him". At that the other digimon chuckled.

"Sure, you will" Gabumon then said which enraged the mammal digimon.

"But Taichi and the others..." Yamato then uttered.

"I am sure they are about to save Sora-san any minute now. Ryuhei-kun is with them after all" Mimi then defended. The others nodded. She just hoped she was right.

Inside the pyramid hell was loose and warning bells were ringing all over the place. Ryuhei, Taichi and Koushiro were staring at all the minions who were running through the hallways from the secret passageway.

"I guess they know we are here" Tentomon then stated the obvious.

"Just when we almost made it too" Koushiro stated.

"See! This is all your fault Taichi for not being careful enough" Ryuhei scolded.

"Fine, fine. I am sorry. I will make it up to you when I save Sora" Taichi remarked.

"Okay this is what we have to do Taichi" Koushiro began explaining "When we turn right the wall ahead of you is the hidden passageway to Nanomon's room".

"Yeah and by the sound of it, we don't have much time" Renamon said firmly and pushed them all away when a boulder fell down towards them along with a certain self-proclaimed digimon king.

The digimon and their chosen child let out a surprised squirrel and ran out of the secret passageway. That had been the right call because the wall caved in seconds later, when Etemon rammed through it with all his strength.

"I've found you! Now, tell me where Nanomon is!" the ape digimon sneered.

"Taichi-san, Tentomon and I will stay back and try to hold him off" Koushiro said as light emitted from his digivice.

"Tentomon Shinka Kabuterimon".

"What? But that is crazy?!" Taichi uttered in pure distress "You can't defeat him".

"Not on his own he can't" Ryuhei added in and walked forward "But I will stay behind and help him. You on the other hand Taichi will go on to save Sora".

"Renamon Shinka Kyubimon!".

"But I... I can't just leave you all here" Taichi uttered rather shocked.

"You said you were going to make up for your past mistakes by saving Sora, or was that just a lie Taichi?" Ryuhei questioned in a sour tone "If not, you will continue on and complete what you came here for. Have I made myself clear?".

"I... I. Yes, but you dare die on me!" Taichi sneered and turned towards the secret passageway "Come on Agumon".

"Right behind you Taichi" Agumon replied dutifully.

They ran and ran down the stairs and were soon at the electrified fence Taichi could not get passed last time. It was still zapping with a lot of electricity. Both Taichi and Agumon stopped up as he remembered the location of the secret passageway was. It should by Koushiro's calculations, be right in front of him. That said if he was just a millimeter wrong, he would get zapped and then it was game over. On the other hand, if he didn't, who knows what was going to happen to Sora.

"She is on the other side" Taichi mused out loud and took a step forward.

"I will go first" Agumon suggested, but Taichi shook his head and stopped him.

"Wait Agumon".

"Taichi?".

"I'll go" he responded as he walked over to the fence "There is something precious to me on the other side of this wall".

"You mean Sora?" Agumon questioned slowly.

"Yeah. But that is not all" Taichi confirmed "I feel like there's something else very precious over there that I lost yesterday".

He was holding his hand towards the fence now, and in the background, he could hear Agumon shout encouraging to him.

"You can do it Taichi! Bring out your courage!".

Taichi nodded to himself as he got closer and closer to the electrical fence. His hand were centimeters away now, and with a pure scream of courage, he ran his hand through it, hitting the secret passageway in one go, and by that action made his crest glow.

"I... I did it!" Taichi shouted in pure astonishment.

"Alright. I knew you could do it Taichi!" Agumon shouted encouraging. Only to be tumbled over by Kyubimon who felt down from the stairs.

"Aw! Will you stop that?" the dino complained rather loudly.

"I am sorry, but we don't have to time to spare" the fox said as it got off Agumon.

"Agumon, go help the others. I will save Sora" Taichi ordered, as his digivice lit up.

"Agumon Shinka Greymon!". Then Taichi left through the secret passageway.

He entered what looked like a computer room, and the first thing he saw was Sora standing close to Nanomon for some reason.

"Sora!" Taichi uttered, believing she was forced into this. He ran over towards her, only to be stopped by Piyomon's shouting voice.

"That one is a fake! He made a copy of Sora!". Surprised, Taichi turned towards the voice to find Piyomon chained to the wall and Sora to this weird looking table.

"Taichi!" Sora pleaded as she looked at him with begging eyes.

"So-Sora" Taichi responded back, as he was trying to figure out a way to save her. '

"I've just finished creating this copy" Nanomon said gleefully "Now, if I give it the holy digivice and crest, it will become the real one".

To point that out, Nanomon had just activated a machine who was holding Sora's crest and digivice, to give that copy her things, but Taichi was not letting him.

"I will not let this happen" He sneered and grabbed the things before the copy could get it "These things belong to Sora!".

He rushed over to the table platform, only to find the whole space getting swallowed up by a giant hole. Taichi rushed over there and managed to grab Sora's hand, with his free one and prevented her from falling into this giant pit, who was filled with dark cables.

"What is this place?" Taichi questioned as he tried to pull up Sora. He was lying on his stomach in order to prevent himself from falling in.

"It's the main source of the evil power that make up Etemon's network" Nanomon explained as he began walking over to them. "Everything that falls in there will be absorbed by darkness. It won't leave a scarp behind. I have no need for the original one, so it is time to get rid of you".

The digimon outstretched its arms as he grabbed around Taichi's and Sora's wrist and tried to make them separated.

"Sora! Sora!" Piyomon shouted in distress in the background and Taichi groaned in pain too, but he was not letting go of her arm.

"If you don't want me to kill her, give me back the holy device and the crest!" Nanomon advised in a firm tone.

"Quit talking nonsense!" Taichi shouted back just as firmly "I came here to rescue Sora and that is what I intend to do". He then let go of the digivice and crest and let them instead fall into the real Sora's outstretched hand.

"Thank you Taichi!" Sora uttered and the device lit up.

"Piyomon Shinka Birdramon!".

Piyomon, now Birdramon swooped in and grabbed both Taichi and Sora with its claws to Nanomon's horror and escaped the place. There they found Etemon cornered at the fence, but not outmatched at all.

"Ha now come on. Attack me from any angle" He shouted confident, only to be hit by the rumbles Birdramon created, and soon tripped into the fence of electricity.

The ape digimon let out an agonizing scream. The children and their digimon used the opportunity to high tail it out of there, and soon they found their friends in a happy reunion. For now, at least.

"My, my. Playing with dolls in a place like this?" Etemon mocked as he entered Nanomon's lair. As a resolve on un usefulness Nanomon even deleted the doll in the process before turning towards Etemon.

"The children got away from me again, but at least I get to kill you here. Give yourself up Nanomon!" Etemon threatened as he began cracking his knuckles.

"I don't think so" Nanomon stated as his computer eye glowed red. The hole in the floor in the room got even bigger to the point were Etemon had to grab around the control panel or he would have been swallowed up by the dark network underneath.

"You're coming with me!" Nanomon then stated as he grabbed around Etemon's leg and tried to pull the ape digimon with him.

"No! I refuse to die with you!" Etemon sneered and he was clinging to the keyboard with all his might.

That until Nanomon fired a "Plug bomb" attack at the cables down there. He used that to enlarge the darkness down there with a computer virus and by doing so all sorts of evil were dragged into the core and absorbed. That included many of Etemon's minions just now.

"This is the end for you!" Nanomon shouted as he also got absorbed by the core and disappeared into pieces of data.

Etemon growled annoyed as he himself were dragged down when he lost the grip in the keyboard. His legs were stuck down in the ball of cables now, as the core tried to absorb and infuse itself with the ape digimon.

"There is no way that I will be deleted!" Etemon shouted out loud.

In the meantime, the chosen children and their partner digimon were running for cover as this pull of energy tried to drag them with it to who knows where. None of them knew what was going on but seeing as how Etemon's minions got dragged in they figured it was not a good thing.

"What is going on?" Jyou uttered in a scared tone.

"I don't know, but it is convenient that this allows us to escape" Koushiro said.

"Ah! Look, the pyramid is glowing!" Takeru stated and made them all turn towards the location.

The pyramid was indeed glowing in a dark green aura, before it blew up and revealed Etemon! Encaged in a sphere of cables from the waist and down, Etemon was now floating maliciously in the sky, while laughing like the crazy ape he was. It was a horrified sight to say the least.

"I won't be defeated from the likes of this!" Etemon stated as he glared down on the children "Nanomon decided to die on his own, so now it is your turn!".

As he spoke the whole area began getting wrapped. It was like he was absorbing every data that he could come across.

"We have to do something" Ryuhei shouted in a firm tone.

"Meteor wing!" Birdramon shouted and fired its attack.

"Mega blaster!" Kabuterimon uttered as well and attacked Etemon.

"Fox Tail Inferno!" Kyubimon shouted which was his second attack since Dragon wheel were a close combat move, and no one wanted to get close to Etemon in this state. As the smoke cleared however, the ape digimon were still there.

"Ah, that is enough to loosen up my stiff shoulders" Etemon mocked "Let me pay you back for that. Dark spirits!".

His green and black ball of attack was now bigger and more intensified, as he fired it as the digimon's. Birdramon, Kyubimon and Kabuterimon managed to barely dodge it. However, in its place the green ball hit the mountains and the sphinx which instantly disappeared on the map.

"No! Not the sphinx!" Mimi uttered scared "How are we able to get away now?".

"If he keeps this up, the entire world will become a mess" Sora uttered.

"But there is no way we will win against him!" Jyou shouted in a scared tone.

"No!" Taichi suddenly said in a firm tone, as he clenched his tag with his crest "We still have one way left. Let's go Greymon!".

"Okay Taichi" Greymon replied in pure trust and followed Taichi as they both began running towards Etemon. The other children and digimon were staring in awe at them. They couldn't believe they still had courage enough to face him.

"You still wanna fight?" Etemon mocked as he saw the pair coming.

"We won't run away!" Taichi shouted as he lifted up his tag, who was now glowing.

"Look! Taichi-san's crest" Takeru uttered stunned.

"It is glowing! His crest is glowing!" Mimi uttered in astonishment as well.

"I am telling you it is hopeless!" Etemon shouted as he fired another dark spirit at Greymon now. The giant dinosaur fell to the ground instantly.

"Don't ever give up Greymon!" Taichi shouted encouraging as his tag and digivice were suddenly lighting up and his digivice took on the color of orange.

"Taichi your courage..." Greymon uttered and got surprisingly up "I can feel its power surging through my body... Greymon Chou Shinka...".

To everyone's surprise Greymon began transforming itself, Metal began embodying him. His left arm gained a powerful metal claw. The top of his skull got engraved in metal armor too. It was like it was a helmet, with red back hair down to his shoulder. Beside his jaw. It still looked like Greymon's. His chest now had this metal plate embedded in his skin and purple wings sprouted out from his back as well. He looked bad ass.

"Greymon Chou Shinka Metalgreymon!".

Metalgreymon.

Perfect.

Cyborg digimon.

Type: Vaccine.

Special attack: Giga destroyer.

Metalgreymon. A perfect level digimon whose modified body is used as both a weapon and armor for battle. The destructive strength of his special attack Giga destroyer is extremely powerful.

"This is..." Jyou uttered rather flabbergasted.

"The power of the crest" Yamato added in.

"Damn Taichi weren't kidding when he said making up for his mistakes" Ryuhei said and chuckled a little "Go Taichi and go Metalgreymon too!".

"This is... this is Greymon's true evolution" Taichi uttered just as shocked.

"Just because you evolved a little further doesn't mean you can win against me!" Etemon shouted and tossed his special attack at him. All which resolved in Metalgreymon just cutting through it with its metal claw.

"What the...?" Etemon uttered shocked. Now it was Metal Greymon's turn to attack, as he charged at Etemon and gave him a solid headbutt.

"The nerve of you. I will trample you!" Etemon promised, but he never got the chance because Metalgreymon now began glowing in a weird holy light.

"Look Metal Greymon is glowing" Chihori uttered stunned.

"Yeah the energy of the light..." Takeru began and Tokomon continued "It's the power of holiness. He can win now!".

"Giga destroyer!" Metalgreymon shouted and fired missiles from the metal plate at his chest. It hit Etemon, sending up in the air and created a huge explosion.

"Ahr no way it hit! But I am a big star! I can't die here!" was Etemon's last words before the missiles hit and created a huge wrapping air hole pressure before he did in fact disappear.

Taichi however, was being send flying through the air because of it, and even though Metalgreymon had grabbed him and were holding him down in the sand for just a minute, they were soon both caught up in the blast and sent through that wrapping hole to a completely different world. The human realm, while his friends in the digimon world were shouted both Taichi and Agumon's name in vain.

A,n: Well that was that chapter. So sorry I had to let you wait for so long. I will try not making that mistake again. Hope you can forgive me though. Man talk about long event. Can't believe I finally managed to finish the Etemon saga. Yay me! Now the vampire saga begins. Or soon will. To be honest that is the series I am looking most forward too. Even wrote some of it in advance lol. But what do you think of the chapter and the true story of Gazimon? Cute right? Next one is Renamon more or less. Not the next chapter though. The next one is with Taichi being home. I will make it though. So, I can continue on to the next one. please comment on what you think though.
