After their long journey across the ocean the children arrive at Server continent. That was when their new enemy, Etemon, appeared before them. The children were helpless before his sudden display of power. To fight against Etemon on equal ground, their digimon must evolve to the next level. Taichi received his Crest, which is the key to that new evolution, but...

The sand whirled around in the wind, as the chosen children wandered through this desolated place. There was nothing but sand as far as the eye could see. Sand and some rocking cliffs. No plants or any living creatures besides themselves and their partners. The sun was burning down from the sky, and it didn't help the children one bit. Many of them were exhausted and tired. That and their spirits lacked motivation now. None of them could do a thing against this new enemy, Etemon.

"How much further do we have to walk?" Mimi then complained.

"Until we find a place where Etemon can't reach us" Jyou responded in a tired voice.

"Does such place even exist?!" Mimi sneered annoyed. Her feet were burning.

"Yeah! Of course, it does!" Gazimon replied in a firm tone. He had been walking in front of her with Chihori and Ryuhei and his digimon Renamon.

"Oh, then where is it?" Palmon questioned happily.

"Um eh I don't know!" Gazimon replied sheepishly and scratched the back of his head "But I know this place exists. Somewhere". Mimi and Palmon looked down in the sand right now. They didn't think that statement was true.

"Well I really hope so" Yamato then replied and sighed "We have nowhere to run if this Etemon attacked us now".

Everyone got depressed by that statement. If Etemon really attacked them now, then they couldn't defend themselves. None of them knew how to use the crests after all. Sora looked worriedly around on the group. This is bad. Everyone is getting thoroughly depressed.

"What is this? Get a hold of yourselves guys!" Taichi then shouted and stopped up.

He was of course the one leading this march through this desolated place. He had his mini telescope after all, so it just kinda made sense. Right now, Taichi looked in disbelief at the group.

"We have a crest with us now" Taichi then continued and were holding up his crest.

"That is true. But can the digimon really evolve with just the crest?" Ryuhei then replied and snort "I really don't trust you to take care of things here".

"Of course, they can, and what do you mean you don't trust me?!" Taichi now sneered back. The others were about to stop the soon to be fight, when Taichi snort and continued "Actually it doesn't matter that you don't trust me. Right now, I am the only one with a crest, so you must listen to me. Agumon and I can handle this. Isn't that right Agumon?". Taichi was looking determined at the little dinosaur digimon.

"Um eh." Agumon only replied. He was clearly not sure at this at all.

"Be more assertive, man!" Taichi told Agumon in a firm tone. "You're the only one right now who's able to evolve to the next level. You've got to stand upright for all of us on the battlefield".

Agumon didn't look very happy. A lot of pressure was riding on his shoulders, and it clearly made the digimon uncomfortable.

"We're counting on you" Tentomon then also added, as he flew around in the air.

"By the way, how do we move onto the next evolution?" Taichi then questioned.

"Well from what we already know of the evolution process is that they need a large amount of energy to evolve" Koushiro now concluded "In other words, they weren't able to evolve when they were hungry. Furthermore, it also happens when their partner is in danger". Taichi nodded in agreement.

"I see. But about that energy thing. To evolve to a higher level, I guess You'll need more energy than, ever right?" Taichi then concluded and were glaring down Agumon. It made the yellow digimon flinch a little. He didn't like the look his partner was having in his eyes.

Time skip.

"I can't eat anymore!" Agumon complained as the Dino's mouth got stuffed with food.

Ryuhei and the others just sighed deeply at the sight before them. This had been Taichi's big plan? To stuff poor Agumon up with food?! Not the best plan if you asked Ryuhei, but none did.

"When I say you eat, you eat!" Taichi sneered and stuffed an apple in the poor dino's overfilled mouth "No complaining! Listen, everyone gave you their share of food because they're looking forward to your evolution. Right you guys?".

Taichi just turned back to look at the other chosen children who was sitting up at that hill near this oasis they had found. All of them were staring at Taichi as he filled up Agumon.

"Yeah..." Yamato mumbled out in an annoyed tone.

"Gave it to him? It was more like he took it from us" Mimi whispered annoyed.

"But we can't evolve to a higher level" Gabumon commented with a sigh.

"So, it is whoever doesn't work doesn't get to eat, is it?" Jyou said and sighed.

"No way!" Tentomon uttered as he was pretty hungry here.

"What was that? I can't hear you!" Taichi then shouted, "Isn't that right?!".

"Yes!" the others quickly shouted back, as Taichi began driving Agumon into a corner. Ryuhei tsked a little. He was not liking this.

"See. This is why you and I have to work hard together!" Taichi said as he turned toward Agumon. "We have to protect everyone!".

Then he forced Agumon to eat some more and he refused to listen to its complain. Ryuhei clenched his fists. This resembled a traumatic event in his childhood. His father had been that assertive too. He could still remember the memories. The rainy days when he was dragged out training soccer, even though he hated the game, and he was not getting anything to eat before he could shoot properly. His father had trained him wearily. Almost to completely exhaustion and no one had stopped him.

"So that makes us the ones who are pulling them down" Palmon then complained.

"Even so, I feel sorry for Agumon" Piyomon then said.

"Yeah he is driven into a corner" Sora added in with a sigh. Ryuhei tensed at that.

"Well I can't take this anymore" Ryuhei sneered and marched over Taichi and Agumon to everyone's surprise.

He bowed down and took a lot of food who was lying to the ground. Then he walked over to the others and began sharing with them, without saying anything else. Agumon however looked really relieved now. Taichi However, looked pissed.

"Ryuhei, you damn know it all, what are you doing?!" He then sneered angrily

"Saving Agumon from your teachings. You are a horrible couch!" Ryuhei just replied and began eating the food.

Renamon of course joined in since his master was eating, and Gazimon snuck out an apple or two for him and Chihori. The other digimon looked at the pile of food. Their stomachs were growling, and in the end they all began eating at the piles as well. Taichi was not thrilled however.

"What?! I am an excellent soccer player!" he then shouted back.

"But that doesn't mean you are an excellent couch. Try taking in your surroundings and the consideration of your members instead of just being pushy" Ryuhei just replied and shrugged.

Man, how he wished he could say those words to his father right now. Taichi glared angrily at Ryuhei and marched over to him and were about to grab him, hadn't Yamato come in between. As the three boys fought, the others sighed deeply. This was not going to well this here.

"I am worried about Taichi" Sora then admitted and sighed "Ever since he had gotten the crest, he has been acting like a different person. I really hope that doesn't happen to all of us, as we get our crests".

The others nodded concerned. Then suddenly something lit up underneath Jyou shirt. He looked puzzled at the blue light and pulled out his Tag underneath his shirt.

"Hey, Look Guys, my Tag!" Jyou then uttered rather stunned.

"It is reacting to something..." Koushiro mused curiously. "You crest must be nearby".

Those words brought an end to the fighting, and Taichi even brought out his mini telescope to see if there was something near here who could give them a clue on where the next crest was.

"There is something there. It looks like buildings of some sort. And they are big!" Taichi then replied. Jyou lit up by that and rushed forward to the sand.

"That's where my crest must be!" He concluded and ran down this sandy hill.

Sadly, he tripped over a black cable who had been hiding in the sand. Gomamon quickly ran over to his partner to see if he was okay. Since Jyou was okay, he began examining the black cable he had been tripping over.

"What's a cable doing here?" he questioned in a puzzled tone.

"Ah! It is very dangerous!" Gazimon then uttered and rushed over to them. He was looking sacredly at the black cable. Gomamon and Jyou looked puzzled at him.

"A black cable is dangerous?" Gomamon then asked and dropped it.

He jumped up and down on it, but nothing happened. They all looked questionable at Gazimon.

"Oh, let me guess, you can't remember why" Tentomon then replied and sighed.

"Hey, it is not my fault!" Gazimon growled "I know it is dangerous. I just don't know why". The other children just shrugged.

"Never mind that. Let's just get over to those buildings" Taichi then said.

In the meantime, somewhere else, was the trailer drawn by a Monochromon driving through the deserted land. In it was of course Etemon. The king of all Digimon's and he was currently in pursuit of the chosen children.

"Just you wait, chosen children! When I find you, I'll knock you flat and stuff you like turkeys" the ape digimon shouted loudly inside the trailer. His minions, the Gazimon looked puzzled at him.

"How are you gonna do that sir?" one of them then questioned.

"You will soon see" Etemon replied and smirked evilly. "I have something special prepared. Just for them. But we first need to find them".

"But what about that traitor of ours?" One of the Gazimon then questioned.

"Well if someone had checked to see if that IS the traitor we are chasing, we would have one problem less to solve!" Etemon sneered annoyed "However, if he is the one, I will deal with him, just as I dealt with Nanomon. He won't escape me this time and... wait stop!".

The ape digimon shouted that last part out so loud, that the Gazimon quickly hid behind something, and the Monochromon stopped the trailer surprisingly. Everyone was waiting for what the Ape digimon were about to do.

"Something got caught in my network!" the ape digimon then shouted as he was staring at the monitor. "Hmm L-7 let's see. Where was that? 7 boxes down to L and... there it is!". The Gazimon looked puzzled at him.

"Where is it?" one of them then asked.

"It's near the coliseum!" Etemon shouted excitedly "Remember? The place where I hold a yearly concert. They ran off to such a place".

"Eh, but it is pretty far" One of the Gazimon complained.

"Yup, but I have an interesting show set up there" Etemon then replied and chuckled.

He soon contacted the Gazimon who was in charge of L-7 area, and made it prepare a 'welcoming party' for the chosen children. The Gazimon minion soon rushed toward the coliseum to do just that.

The children had walked down through the different buildings around here and soon found themselves in this coliseum. This was the place where Jyou tag had led them, and they were now staring in awe at the whole scenery here.

"Wow it looks like the Roman Coliseum" Koushiro then uttered stunned.

"What's that?" Tentomon asked. None of the digimon had heard of that.

"It's a stadium from ancient times" Taichi replied slowly as they looked around.

"There's a widescreen" Mimi uttered with a smile.

"And a Goal post" Sora added "This is a soccer field". At those news, Ryuhei frowned slightly. Everything with soccer made him a little uncomfortable.

"Well, let's split up and look for the Crest" Taichi then suggested. Agumon groaned and sat down on the ground. He looked pretty exhausted.

"What's wrong?" Taichi asked the dino digimon.

"I can't move. Let me sleep a little" Agumon groaned and laid down on the ground.

"What's wrong with you?! Get up!" Taichi demanded in an angry tone.

"Let him rest. The only clue we have anyway is this tag" Jyou replied and lifted up his tag so they all could see "Gomamon and I will go look, so take a break you guys".

"I'll go with you" Taichi replied as both him and Jyou went on a search for the crest.

The others looked after them and did as they asked. That until Sora found a soccer ball at the field. She smiled happily.

"Look a soccer ball. Hey, is there anyone who wants to play?" she then suggested.

"That sounds like fun" Takeru uttered happily. Tokomon nodded in agreement. The little white pig was carried around in his arms right now.

"I wanna try too!" Chihori then replied in a happy tone. Ryuhei frowned a little.

"Well then let's make it the human team vs the digimon team" Yamato then suggested. Ryuhei snort in annoyance.

"I'll pass. I hate soccer" he then replied and walked over to the tribune. Renamon was also out, since his master didn't want to participate.

"Hate soccer?" Sora questioned in a puzzled tone "You can't hate soccer...". Tentomon and the other digimon looked puzzled at them.

"What's soccer?" Tentomon then asked.

"It's when you use your legs to kick this ball into the goal" Sora explained "You can use your head or chest too".

She demonstrated by kicking the ball up in the air and hit it with the head. Gabumon quickly rushed forward and kicked the ball pretty hard. It got send flying and hit Piyomon in the head. The bird digimon fell to the ground. Palmon however caught the ball with it's hands.

"You can't use your hands" Sora then lectured. Palmon groaned a little.

"Don't you think that's really unfair for me" the plant digimon then replied.

"The goal keeper can use their hands, right?" Takeru then said.

"Yeah" Yamato replied with a smile "You're perfect as the goal keeper Palmon".

Palmon nodded eagerly and tossed up the ball with its hands. The chosen children were about to get it, when Taichi intervened. He kicked the ball pretty hard, and send it flying off somewhere. None of them did know the ball had hit the Gazimon servant who had just arrived here.

"How the hell can you guys be playing soccer at a time like this!" Taichi scolded at them "Think about what we are dealing with right now. We're leaving after Jyou finds his crest!".

The others looked guilty down in the ground. Ryuhei entered the field with a sigh. For once he was actually agreeing with Taichi here.

"Are you getting any reaction?" Gomamon asked Jyou. Both of them were near one of the goal posts at the moment. Jyou hummed a little.

"It should be around here" he said but was interrupted by some weird sports music. All the children turned surprised around towards the noise. A video was shown on the widescreen, and an annoying voice they all knew too well followed.

"I am the greatest!" Etemon proclaimed, but the children had already begun running off.

None of them wanted to deal with Etemon. They rushed over to Jyou and the goal post. They wanted to help him find his crest faster, so they could leave. All that caused them, was the goal post moving and it fell to the ground, creating a cage for the chosen children. They were trapped inside. Agumon, who had not been fast enough, were the only one on the other side.

"Goal!" Etemon shouted in a happy tone on the widescreen "Now I've got you".

"It was a trap" Taichi growled annoyed.

"Do you really think you can keep us in here with just this?" Tentomon questioned and attacked the net in the goal post. He shouldn't have done that since the net was filled with electricity. Tentomon got shocked big time.

"Oh, you'll injure yourself if you do that" Etemon mocked "After all, that net has electricity running through its wires. I'd love to be there face to face, but unfortunately, I'm too far way for that. Stars have busy schedules, you know. But don't worry. There's a special guest who'll be taking my place. Who do you think it is?". Taichi growled annoyed.

"Who cares?!" he shouted back. Etemon smirked evilly.

"I'm sure he'll surprise you" the ape replied and began cheering as a digimon appeared inside the stadium. It was wearing a black cable and looked like it was under Etemon's control. Or that was at least what Gazimon told them it was.

"A G-Greymon?!" Taichi uttered stunned. The other Greymon let out an angry roar as he trashed in here. Etemon chuckled darkly.

"See, you are surprised. I'm such a fabulous show producer" the digimon replied as it gave credit to itself for being this awesome. Gazimon growled at that.

"You are a terrible producer!" He then yelled "Come on, show your face, so I can kick your butt, your stupid ape...!". The rest was killed as Chihori hugged her partner worriedly. She didn't want her Gazimon to fight him.

"Hmm excited, are we?" Etemon commented and looked down a Gazimon "Don't you worry my little mammal friend, you will soon get your wish. I will let this Greymon spare you, so we can have a showdown, and I can confirm my suspicions off you. If you are THAT Gazimon, I will kill you. Now that I think about it, I will kill you either way, but at least I know you are THAT Gazimon or not. Without further ado, let's get this game started. It is showtime!".

As it was on cue, Greymon charged in here and trashed the other goal post. Luckily not the one the children were in. This was clearly a display of power to them.

"THAT Gazimon? What does he mean by that?" Jyou questioned.

"Who cares" Taichi growled and looked at Agumon "Agumon Shinka!". The yellow dino digimon nodded as energy light appeared around him. Taichi digivice lit up too.

"Agumon Shinka Greymon!".

Greymon soon emerged from the light and charged at the other Greymon there. The two fierce dinosaurs where now fighting a heated battle. They had both grabbed each other, but in the end Their Greymon had given the other a headbutt, which resolved in the other attack with its tail. It slammed it at Greymon's side now. They could hear how Greymon groaned in pain at that, but none of the children were giving up hope just yet. They believed in Greymon.

"You can do it, Greymon!" Gabumon shouted in encouragement.

"Don't lose to the fake one!" Takeru also shouted.

However, then the other Greymon charged in with its antler and tossed their Greymon towards their cage. Greymon soon got electrocuted by the net. In the end Greymon collapsed on the ground. Taichi looked determined at his partner now.

"Evolve, Greymon. You got to evolve!" He shouted. Greymon growled and got up.

"He can't keep it up" Koushiro pointed out in a worried tone. '

"He'll be killed if he doesn't evolve" Tentomon added.

However, the two Greymon's were staring at each other, before Taichi's Greymon charged at the other. The other Greymon grabbed at Greymon's horn, and soon tossed it aside to the ground. Soon it began stamping on the dinosaur, and the others could hear Greymon groan in pain.

"Evolve!" Taichi shouted once again "Greymon you got to evolve!".

"It is no use Taichi-san" Koushiro replied slowly. "Your crest isn't showing a reaction at all". Ryuhei nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, the evolution is impossible" He then added.

"I won't believe that" Taichi sneered and glared at Greymon in determination "Greymon, I know you can do it! Believe in your ability to evolve!".

It was like Greymon heard what Taichi was saying, because he shook of the other Greymon with its tail. Taichi lit up by that and encouraged Greymon to do a 'Mega Flame'. Sadly, all that came out of Greymon's mouth was a big burp. That confused the children.

"How can you be burping at a time like this?" Mimi complained annoyed.

"Don't his movements look a lot slower than usual?" Yamato then questioned.

"I get it. His body is heavy because from eating too much" Koushiro then concluded.

"You're right" Tentomon uttered and ended up flying up in the net and got electrocuted once again. He soon fell to the ground.

"G-Greymon!" Taichi uttered in a scared tone. Greymon was now tossed around in the air by the other, and soon send flying, hitting the stone wall at the tribute. Worse, he didn't get up afterwards. He was beaten pretty badly here.

"Looks like this will end sooner than I thought" Etemon said and smirked.

They could all see him glare at them from the widescreen. It was like they were only entertaining for this digimon king. He ordered one of his subordinates to start plan 'Fireworks' whatever that was, and the chosen children soon found one of the Gazimon standing on a statue a little away from them. He was holding some weird firework candles. Clearly a signal to the other Greymon of some kind.

"Watch out!" Gomamon shouted and made his attack.

Marching fishes appeared from the statue. A little glimpse of water was running down the statues mouth as they did. They quickly swam through the air and grabbed the candles from the Gazimon and tossed him down from the statue. They thereafter flew over to the other Greymon. They got its attention, and soon lured it away from Greymon.

"How were fishes able to come out from there?" Jyou questioned and looked at the statue. Gomamon shrugged innocently.

"Don't look at me... I don't get the complicated stuff..." The seal mused.

"It's properly because there is a rift in another dimension over there" Koushiro then concluded.

Jyou looked pretty thoughtful at that. That might be the case. In the meantime, the marching fishes had tossed the candles of fireworks at the other Greymon feet's. It made a lot of noise, which made the other Greymon mad, and he tried to step on the burning firework candles to make them stop doing that.

"Thank you fishes" Sora thanked at as the fishes disappeared from where they had come from. She turned towards the others "Let's escape while now that we have a chance!". Gazimon nodded eagerly.

"Chihori and I have come up with the perfect plan" the digimon replied and were holding his head in a proud matter. "If I remember correctly, then we should be able to dig our way out of here...".

"Yeah, you and your great wisdom" Gomamon replied with a grin.

"Well who cares. Let's begin. We need to help Greymon" Taichi proclaimed.

The others nodded and soon removed the stones in the ground. However, a cable and some kind of weird rock with a symbol on was in between.

"Wait a minute, its reacting!" Jyou uttered and held up his tag. "Could this rock be my crest? If that is the case, then...".

He placed the tag at the symbol, and both the crest and rock lit up by that. Soon the rock shrunk in and were soon fitted inside Jyou tag. The ground under the children crumbled and they soon found themselves in a bottom of a hole. Everyone was piled over one another. Jyou was happy though.

"All right I got my chest!" he uttered happily.

"Hey, there is a tunnel up here!" Tentomon then said and flew a little upwards "I think we can get outside".

The children nodded. They didn't have time for chitchat, so soon they had climbed through the tunnel and found themselves at the tribune. They were safer that they had been in the cage.

Sadly, that didn't change this outcome of this battle. Greymon was still getting his butt kicked over and over again. The children could only look in horror as the other Greymon tossed around with their friend and partner.

"If he could just evolve" the others could hear Taichi mumble as he was clenching his crest at his chest. Then he looked determined at Greymon "Greymon!". He was about to jump out to the field, when Sora were trying to pull him back.

"Wait Taichi!" She uttered worriedly. Taichi got out of her grip.

"Don't stop me! This is my chance to get Greymon to evolve!" He shouted annoyed "Please just get out of my way". Sora looked at him with distressful eyes.

"But your crest isn't reacting at all" She then replied, "It is impossible to make him evolve". However, Taichi didn't want to listen at all.

"He will evolve. No, I will make him evolve" he then said and ran out in the area. No one could stop him. He had to do this.

"What is he trying to do?" Yamato questioned annoyed.

"The other condition needed for evolution is for the partner to be in danger" Koushiro now uttered in distress "Taichi-san, he can't be...".

"That little fool!" Ryuhei sneered annoyed. Taichi had in the meantime rushed over to Greymon just before Etemon ordered his minion to finish him off with his Mega flame. Taichi was not gonna let him though.

"Stop!" He yelled, and his scream distracted the Greymon.

The mega flame flew over Taichi's partner's head luckily. Sadly, that also made the other Greymon aware of Taichi, as it now turned around towards him.

"I'm not scared of you!" Taichi sneered and tossed a stone at him. "So, try and come after me!". The only effect that had was that the other Greymon got mad at him.

"Trying to act tough, are we?" He could hear Etemon say from the widescreen "Very well. We'll finish you off first. Just as you wish!". The other Greymon began walking over towards Taichi now with clear intentions of killing him.

"I can't handle this torturous act now" Ryuhei sneered and looked at his partner "Renamon go help Taichi!".

Sora and Yamato asked their partners to do the same, and soon three small lights appeared around the three digimon's as they evolved.

"Renamon Shinka Kyubimon!".

"Piyomon Shinka Birdramon!".

"Gabumon Shinka Garurumon!".

Birdramon was the first to charge in, as the big bird flew and covered the other Greymon's face. Garurumon and Kyubimon was ready to charge with their attacks, as soon as Birdramon was out of view. At the same time, they were trying to protect a very reckless Taichi. Taichi was still trying to make Greymon evolve, as he left the protecting of the two other partner digimon.

"Greymon! I believe in you!" Taichi shouted as his partner once again were up on his feet's "Evolve Greymon!".

In just that moment, Taichi's digivice lit up. It was ready to evolve Greymon. Taichi's Tag however, didn't lit up, which instead created something unbelievable. Dark light hit Greymon and the digimon began changing its shape. Taichi lit up by that. He believed Greymon really did evolve, but he couldn't be more wrong. Soon, in Greymon's place, was a giant skeleton being instead. it was massive and only made of pure bones. On it's back it had a missile. In some way this was Greymon, just bigger and without any flesh at all. It was extremely creepy.

"That's..." Sora uttered in disbelief.

"What's going on here?" Yamato also questioned.

"No way, that is Skullgreymon!" Tentomon uttered in a scared tone.

Skullgreymon.

Perfect.

Skeleton digimon.

Type: Virus.

Special attack: Ground Zero.

Skullgreymon. His menacing appearance reduces many digimon to a quaking heap. Naturally he has immensely destructive power. He is a perfect level digimon who attacks persistently in battle.

"Th-This is bad" Koushiro uttered in disbelief as he stared in awe at Skullgreymon. "It looks like things went wrong and he evolved into something unbelievable".

Mimi and the others looked scared at the digimon from the tribune. They were agreeing with Koushiro here. Chihori and Gazimon were even hugging each other fearfully. None of them liked this at all. Taichi was also staring at this new form his partner had taken. He couldn't believe this was Greymon's next form. Skullgreymon let out a terrified roar and attacked the Greymon, tossing it up towards the widescreen, and thereby destroying the connection Etemon was having with his network. Then it fired its missile from its back destroying the Greymon and the widescreen in the process. It let out a terrifying roar as it turned towards Taichi.

"Skullgreymon, did you really evolve from Greymon?" Taichi now questioned his partner. All that earned him was Skullgreymon trying to stamp him to pieces.

"Taichi watch out!" Ryuhei replied as he and Kyubimon grabbed him and pulled him out of danger.

Ryuhei was currently riding on his partner's back. Garurumon charged at him, but all that earned him, was a hard smack to the ground. Birdramon attacked and placed its claws into the boney arm on Skullgreymon. That did nothing and the bird digimon soon got send flying with its tail. Taichi and Ryuhei had arrived at the tribune and both jumped off, before Kyubimon charged at Skullgreymon with its dragon wheel. It got send flying too.

"I'll help hold him down" Tentomon proclaimed as he flew in there.

"We're counting on you Tentomon!" Koushiro replied as light emitted around it.

"Tentomon Shinka Kabuterimon!".

Soon the 4 adult digimon had surrounded Skullgreymon. The skeleton only responded with more violence, as it grabbed the destroyed goal post and tossed it after the chosen digimon and children. Since none of their usual attacks had worked, the digimon all decided to fire away their strongest attack at the same time. Birdramon's meteor wing. Kabuterimon's mega blaster. Garurumon's fox fire and Kyubimon's dragon wheel. All these attack hit Skullgreymon and sadly did nothing. Nothing at all. Skullgreymon growled angrily though and slammed them down. One by one until they couldn't move and had to transform back to their child stage again. Skullgreymon roared once again and charged at everything in the coliseum. It charged at the wall without a care and soon ran outside in the desert. The children and their digimon followed. It didn't seem like Skullgreymon even had a plan where he was going. He just wanted to destroy. The buildings around here also got hit. That until a yellow light emitted from it.

"What happened?" Koushiro questioned curiously.

"Maybe he ran out of energy?" Tentomon suggested.

As they reached where the light had been a minute ago, they found a very ashamed Koromon in the sand.

"He turned back into Koromon?" Takeru questioned in a confused tone. Taichi ran over quickly and grabbed his now drained Koromon.

"Are you okay?" He questioned worriedly.

"Yeah..." Koromon mused out slowly "But... it looks like I did something terrible to you guys. I couldn't stop myself".

"Don't worry about it" Piyomon replied with a smile.

"Yeah that's right" Gabumon added in, and Renamon nodded in agreement.

"We understand completely" Tentomon also added in a sympatric voice.

"I'm sorry I couldn't rise to your expectations..." Koromon mused to Taichi now and looked down in the ground. He was very guilty.

"No! This is not your fault!" Ryuhei suddenly shouted and made Koromon look surprised up at him "It's...".'

"I know" Taichi replied and sighed "It's my fault...".

"That's not what I meant..." Ryuhei quickly replied, but Taichi shook his head.

"But you were gonna say something similar, and I deserve it" he then replied and looked at Sora "It's true, right Sora?".

"Yeah, um wait I mean..." Sora then said in a distressed tone.

"I was rushing ahead without even realizing it" Taichi mused out slowly "Because I had the crest, I felt like I had to fight the battles on my own. I am so sorry you guys. and I am so sorry Koromon. Can you forgive me?".

The others nodded slowly as Koromon smiled back at him. Taichi bit his lip and hugged his partner very deeply.

Although the next evolution was reached, it apparently was a mistake. Will they ever be able to evolve the right way?

A,N: Well that was that chapter. Taichi didn't go so well with evolving Greymon now did he? But you can never learn without doing some mistakes I guess. In the next chapter, who happens to be an extra chapter, we are having events with Ryuhei's crest, who is at an unusual place for sure. We get events with a depressed Taichi and actually a fist to fist fight between Ryuhei and Taichi. That and of course some sort of enemy is appearing.
