The enemy of Server continent, Etemon, continued his attack. Having already obtained his crest, Taichi forced Greymon to evolve, but unexpectedly became Skullgreymon. Skullgreymon ran berserk. It was only when he exhausted his energy that he degenerated into Koromon.

The nine children and their digimon wandered through this wasteland. Only few rocks and sand meet their way. Taichi was of course leading the group, as usual, however things were very different than usual. Normally they would be chatting and talking with each other and their partners, but this time everyone was as silence as a grave. Even Mimi, and she usually complained about everything. Only the two youngest, Chihori and Takeru, was talking and behaving just like usual.

"Come on Takeru! You can't catch me!" Tokomon shouted as he ran through the sand. The little pig smiled confidently "No one can. Ha-ha!".

"We will see about that" Takeru said and smiled "Let's show him Chihori".

"Yeah!" Chihori replied and charged after them.

"Chihori wait for me!" Gazimon shouted worriedly as he followed his partner.

Soon the others could see them play together a little away from them. They still followed the others however, when they continued their walking. They were always in sight. They continued their journey for a little while, until Taichi just couldn't take it any longer. This silence was killing him.

"Okay fine. You don't have to rub it in. I know I made a mistake" Taichi growled and made everyone stop up "Shout at me! Do something instead of this quietness". Silence once again. No one of the others were saying anything.

"Quit being silent!" Taichi now shouted "It is killing me for god's sake". The others looked at each other once again.

"Taichi it is not like that..." Sora began as she tried reassuring him. it didn't go so well. Taichi tsked annoyed.

"Then what? What is it that makes you so silent?" He then sneered out "Let me guess you all obviously have a problem with me".

"Yes! Yes I have a problem with you!" Ryuhei then suddenly said and got all Taichi's attention. He waved his sister over to him again. It seemed like they couldn't continue on before Taichi had gotten the true message in this "Your arrogance clearly has no limit, and your care for your surroundings and fellow comrades is lacking. But what annoys me the most is that you think everything resolve around you in this. Do you really think this silence is because of you and Koromon? No, no it is not. It is what the event caused that made us silence you idiot. Do you think any of us wants to evolve our partners into some creature like Skullgreymon? Do you?".

"Ryuhei that was a little over the top, wasn't it?" Yamato mumbled worriedly beside him. Ryuhei rolled his eyes in annoyance.

"What? You think I am wrong?" Ryuhei then questioned. No one of the others replied him, which just showed how correct he was, so he continued "He needs to face the facts here. Taichi, you behave like a spoiled brat".

"What?! Take that back you good for nothing know it all!" Taichi shouted angrily and clenched his fists. He glared at Ryuhei now, but all he did was glare back at him.

"No. I won't take it back" Ryuhei then replied and snort "You are a spoiled brat. Even Mimi is less spoiled than you. I prefer her over you".

"Hu? What? I am spoiled?!" Mimi uttered rather shocked. Then she turned her head a little away since she was also blushing. Ryuhei had said he preferred her after all.

"Grr now you got it!" Taichi shouted and was about to attack him.

Yamato and Jyou was trying to come in between, but Ryuhei made a gesture with his arm and made them stop in their tracks. He didn't want them to meddle. He wanted this to happen. Seconds later a fist collided with his cheek. Ryuhei had seen it coming a mile away though. He had let Taichi hit him.

"Ha take that you know it all!" Taichi shouted angrily at him. Ryuhei only spit out a little bit of salvia and locked eyes with him. He was pretty determined.

"Was that all? Honestly that is all you can muster in a real fight. You are pathetic" he then said and could see how Taichi lost him temper once again.

"I show you who is the pathetic one is!" Taichi shouted again and charged at Ryuhei again.

This time however Ryuhei was not letting him. With swift movements he dodged his punch and kicked him easily on one of the legs, making Taichi lose balance and soon fell down into the sand.

"I said was that all?" Ryuhei taunted "You are really wasting your effort here".

"You son of a..." Taichi sneered and got up on his feet's once again. Then he charged at Ryuhei once again. The others were just staring at the scenario between those two boys. None of them wanted to intervene, but it was clear who would win.

"Those two... why in the world are they fighting at a time like this?" Sora snort out and crossed her arms over her chest.

"I don't know. Boys are weird" Mimi replied slowly. The boys didn't reply on any of that. They were boys, but really didn't have a clue why they were fighting like this.

"Big brother" Chihori sniffed "I don't like when big brother fight".

"Ahr it is okay Chihori. Your brother is winning" Gazimon reassured slowly.

They all saw how Ryuhei managed to grab both of Taichi's hands, and thereafter toss him down into the sand once again. Taichi was of course up pretty quickly, and the cycle continued on and on. All with the same results.

"Don't worry Chihori. My master and your brother will be fine. Besides he wanted to do this in the first place. He is actually helping Taichi" Renamon also reassured.

"Helping him?" Chihori questioned in a puzzled tone.

"Yeah. I see it as such too" Yamato added in with a smile "They are really a lot alike". The others looked puzzled at the fight now.'

"Helping him? How in the world is a fist fight helping anyone?" Jyou questioned perplexed "It doesn't make sense at all".

"It does. If you think about it" Yamato said and smiled. He had been holding on to Koromon all this time too. "Taichi feels terrible for what happened to Agumon in that fight. He blames himself. Ryuhei is actually helping him getting rid of all the tension he has build up inside. A fight is clearly the answer to this".

"Ah I see" Koushiro mumbled "Letting his frustration have an outlet. That is very interesting. Not something I would recommend every day though...".

"Hu? Isn't there something weird going on? I see this weird light..." Mimi suddenly said and pointed at Ryuhei. The others turned their attention to it as well.

"Wait isn't that..." Yamato uttered rather surprised.

"Had enough?" Ryuhei questioned slowly as Taichi once again was lying down in the sand. The brown haired boy sneered angrily and were pretty fast on his feet's.

"Never! You are so going down!" he shouted and attacked again. However, this time he was stopped by Yamato and Jyou.

"I told you not to interfere" Ryuhei sneered annoyed. Taichi surprisingly agreed.

"Well I am sorry you two, but something came up" began Yamato and sighed "You didn't notice Ryuhei? Your Tag is responding to something".

Both Ryuhei and Taichi looked rather surprised. Ryuhei turned his attention towards his Tag while Taichi had pulled out his mini telescope and were scouting around.

"In which direction does it react?" He then questioned. Ryuhei hummed a little.

"In this direction" He then replied slowly and pointed. Taichi turned his attention toward the place he had pointed out.

"I think I see a lake or something in that direction" He then said.

"Yeah it is certainly a lake" Tentomon replied firmly from up in the air. "It seems to be a good place to rest. With fresh water and everything".

"Okay we go there and set up camp for today" Taichi then proclaimed and the others cheered in agreement.

Time skip.

"Wow another lake" Piyomon uttered stunned "It is as big as the other we saw".

"Well hopefully there is no Seadramon down there" Mimi said sacredly.

"There is no way. Things like that doesn't happen twice" Taichi reassured.

"Any reaction master?" Renamon questioned as he was standing besides Ryuhei. They were both present at the edge of the lake, as they were staring at the deeps of the waters. Ryuhei hummed at that.

"Well the closest reaction I am getting is coming from here" He then mused out "It seems to me that it is down there".

"In the lake. Hmm that is gonna be troublesome" Koushiro said thoughtfully.

"What? What is the trouble?" Taichi said and shrugged "All he has to do is going for a swim. No biggie".

"And what if there is dangerous digimon's down there?" Jyou questioned worriedly "Or what if it at the bottom of the lake. We don't know how deep it even is. Do you want Ryuhei to drown down there?".

At that Taichi tsked, but he didn't say anything else. Silence fell over all of them.

"Well in any case it is getting late. Let's set up and decide what to do about this in the morning" Yamato then suggested. The others nodded in agreement and began doing the usual chores, so they could get a good dinner.

Time skip.

Things went pretty smoothly. They had caught some fishes from the lake and got the food from the surrounding trees around them. In some way this could resemble an oasis. After they had made a campfire from things who was just lying around, they all assembled around it and ate the grilled fish and fruit they had been collecting. Everything was peaceful, even though Mimi did complain over the lack of sleeping places. This time there were sadly no tram or any vehicle they could sleep inside. They had to do with what they could, although Palmon did try to make a comfortable bed out of leaves. You couldn't say Palmon didn't try to be a good partner here. In the end, it was decided on the nightly shifts. Ryuhei had the first shift. Thereafter Taichi, Jyou and Koushiro at the end. Both Takeru and Chihori had complained about not being up longer, but after they got nestled to sleep by their digimon, and big brother's partners, sleep easily fell over them. Ryuhei smiled as he could hear Gazimon meow in his sleeps and Chihori say something with that she couldn't eat one more bite to Gazimon. Renamon had his furred paws around her, but only because Ryuhei had asked him to of course. He knew full well Renamon wasn't asleep at all. The fox digimon was listening to everything and was ready if any invading attack happened. Ryuhei had been around Renamon enough to know that already. Suddenly, something happened. Some unknown moments. Ryuhei was sure he could hear something. He was not sure what, but something was just not right. Some kind of unknown omen. Ryuhei's eyes narrowed a little as he scouted the area.

"Who's there?!" he yelled and this time he could hear footsteps.

They were close by. Renamon was up and ready too. Both of them were listening carefully.

"Easy, easy. It is only me" A voice then suddenly said and Taichi appeared in front of them. Ryuhei let out a little relieved sigh, but only a little. He was sure something else had been out there too. He looked up at Taichi.

"You didn't see anything strange just now, did you?" Ryuhei asked and could see Taichi shake his head. He sighed a little and continued "What are you even doing here? You shift is not first until later you know".

Taichi snort annoyed and clearly showed he didn't want Ryuhei to tell him what to do. Instead he sat defiant down beside him at the campfire. Ryuhei noticed Koromon who was sleeping soundly in his lap now. That was not unusual. Taichi had not left Koromon since the events with Skullgreymon. He did actually take care of it very well.

"Don't tell me what to do" he could then hear Taichi mumble slowly "I just can't sleep". Ryuhei eyed him a little.

"Is that so" He then replied and looked up in the sky. Stars were shown and even lit up the night a little. He knew however that Taichi clearly had another reason for being here. It was as clear as the stars up there.

"Ryuhei, why?" Taichi then asked and made Ryuhei look at him.

"Why what?" he asked back.

"You know why!" sneered Taichi annoyed.

"No I don't" Ryuhei replied and shrugged "I cannot read people's mind". Both males were staring irritated at each other. Then Taichi tsked annoyed.

"Why? Why did you help me earlier?" He finally managed to say, "Why couldn't I beat you now we are at it".

Ryuhei rolled his eyes. Of course that was the reason Taichi was truly here. Ryuhei hummed a little and laid down on the ground. He was looking up at the starry sky once again.

"Do you like Soccer?" He then suddenly asked, and he could see Taichi's stunned face expression. He was staring at him in disbelief. It was easy to see because of the fire that lit up from the campfire.

"What kind of question is that?!" Taichi then uttered and snort. He send Ryuhei a cold glare, which he of course returned.

"Just answer the question" Ryuhei then said firmly. Taichi growled a little.

"Yeah of course I do" He replied and snort. "What has that to do with anything?". Ryuhei didn't answer right away. He went pretty silent, but then...

"Because you remind me of myself. Long ago, way back when I once loved soccer. Just like you do" Ryuhei then said and clearly surprised Taichi.

"So it wasn't a lie back then? You really hate soccer?" Taichi questioned slowly. Ryuhei nodded and recalled him mentioning it to the group at the colosseum. Taichi must have heard it there.

"Yeah it is true" Ryuhei slowly said and sighed "Unlike you all here, this place let's me escape. Escape this reality at home where I am Ryuhei Zukizuma. Here I am only Ryuhei. Okay maybe the chosen child part is a drag but...". Ryuhei stopped himself and looked at Taichi.

"You don't even know how it is to be me. You don't know how much pressure that is riding on my shoulders Taichi" He then continued "You don't have a reason to be jealous on me. It should be the other way around".

"The other way around? Are you kidding me?" Taichi uttered surprised and hit Ryuhei's shoulder in a friendly matter. "You? The know it all Ryuhei is jealous on me?! That is a good one". He chuckled a little. Ryuhei didn't find it that funny.

"I didn't say I Was jealous. I stated I should be, which is weird because I am not. You have a family who seem to love you while I... I have Chihori" He said slowly. "If I didn't I might even, when we find a way home, I mean I might...".

"You wanna stay here?!" Taichi uttered and Ryuhei nodded slightly. Taichi glared angrily at him now "You can't be serious Ryuhei. What about your sister?!".

"I said I might" Ryuhei growled back and tossed a piece of firewood at the campfire "You are such an idiot Yagami. You really are".

"What?! Say that again!" Taichi now yelled angrily.

"You are an idiot" Ryuhei repeated and shrugged. He could see Taichi clench his fists angrily now. He rolled his eyes and got up. "Well since you are up and running. I will go to sleep. You are the next night post anyway". Taichi looked angrily at him now.

"You lazy ass! I hope you never get your crest!" He then sneered back as Ryuhei began leaving. He was on his way over to Chihori and their digimon's resting place "How can you even call yourself a chosen child". Ryuhei turned firmly around and send him a cold look.

"You are the one to talk Taichi, considering you forced Greymon to evolve into that thing". He could see Taichi flinch at that so Ryuhei quickly continued "Let me give you a good advice Taichi. Next time take your partner's wellbeing into better consideration. That and when your opponent knows all your moves, like I did, then try creating new ones. Use the element of surprise. Then maybe, in 10 years or so, you might be able to beat me".

"You just begone from my sight you annoying bastard!" was all Taichi responded with and refused to look at Ryuhei at all.

Ryuhei just shrugged and placed himself down at the ground beside his sister. He heard the sound of movements, and could soon feel fury paws around him, He knew Renamon had moved over to warm him as well, and soon sleep were over him. What neither of the chosen children knew, was that someone was watching them from afar.

Time skip. The morning after breakfast.

"You sure this is a good idea?" Yamato questioned as he looked at Ryuhei. He had placed his backpack at the ground and were stretching his body the best he could. He didn't want to get any cramps after all. The others looked worriedly at him.

"Well no, but do you have any other way to get it?" Ryuhei questioned and looked at the others. "It is not like we can make the crest come to us".

"Well that is true" Sora mused out worriedly. Taichi tsked annoyed.

"Well I hope you drown down there" he replied, "No more Ryuhei know it all".

"Taichi!" Sora uttered rather shocked at that statement.

"What? It is not like he has enough guts to jump in anyway" Taichi uttered angrily. Ryuhei rolled his eyes. Taichi had clearly not forgotten their discussion from yesterday. He was still mad. Not that Ryuhei really cared.

"I am not happy with you jumping in there all alone though". Jyou said worriedly and looked at the lake in front of them "There could be dangerous digimon down there. You do remember Seadramon right?".

The others didn't say anything. They all surely remembered. Gomamon chuckled at that. He was already in the lake.

"You so a scary cat Jyou. I have been swimming in this lake for a while. I haven't seen any dangerous digimon down there" He reassured. That didn't help on Jyou's nerves at all. Renamon snort coldly.

"I am with my master, so what should happen" the digimon growled.

"But you are a beast digimon like me" Gabumon then pointed out "And when you evolve, Kyubimon has fire based attacks. Not so useful in the lake".

"Yeah, yeah. That is right. I have the responsibility for you all. I am the oldest" Jyou uttered firmly "What if something happens to you down there?!".

"If you are so worried Jyou why don't you just join him?" Gomamon suggested happily. "I am sure we can protect him. We have a crest already".

"Wait me?!" Jyou uttered sacredly "I... I didn't... and I am not a good swimmer".

"That actually sounds reasonable" Koushiro concluded "Ikkakumon is a ocean digimon, so he could easily defend or help down there".

"But I..." Jyou complained in a worried tone as Yamato pushed him towards the lake along with Taichi "I am wearing glasses and my clothes are uncomfortable when wet...". But no one was listening to his complains.

"You can do it leader san" Sora then suddenly uttered and Piyomon added in 'leader, leader' as well "You said you had the responsibility. If you help him, there is nothing to worry about". Jyou looked surprised at them, bit his lip, but then nodded.

"Yeah you are right. I... I have to do this" Jyou mumbled worried and looked at Gomamon "Gomamon you pull us up the minute there is danger".

"You got it!" the seal replied with a big grin. "Let's get going!".

Then he jumped easily into the lake. Ryuhei, Jyou and Renamon looked at each other, before jumping into the lake as well. Chihori and Mimi encouraging words were the last thing they heard.'

The lake was big. Ryuhei had never seen something so big and at the same time beautiful. Many fishes and other ocean creatures were swimming around, along with Gomamon. There really wasn't any dangerous digimon in this lake at all. However, they didn't have time to watch the scenario. They had to keep going before all air had left them. Gomamon swam playfully over to him, even though Jyou send him a firm scolding glare. Gomamon ignored it.

"So where shall we be going?" he asked and Ryuhei pointed at the direction the tag lit up. Gomamon nodded eagerly.

"Okay leave everything to me. Marching fishes!" he yelled the last part as his fishy friends appeared around him. "You gotta help them get the crest who is somewhere in this lake. Oh and can you create a bubble barrier too? Humans apparently can't breathe under water".

The last of the sentence were directed towards Jyou, who suddenly couldn't breathe. Ryuhei rolled his eyes. Jyou clearly hadn't gotten enough air when he jumped in here. The marching fishes nodded eagerly, and suddenly flew/swam around them, creating a weird bubble of air around their heads. Ryuhei looked surprised at the bubble. He could breathe underwater now.

"Gomamon!" Jyou uttered from inside the bubble "Why didn't you tell me you could do that?!". Gomamon shrugged a little.

"I didn't know I could. I just hoped they could. I mean it would be annoying if you all should up and get air while looking for the crest, right?!" the seal replied and chuckled.

Jyou looked like he could kill his partner right here and now, but Ryuhei didn't let him as he swam in between.

"Let's just get going. We have no idea how long those things holds anyway" he replied and Gomamon joked coldly that they might break every minute now.

All just to scare Jyou which seemed to work. They swam further and further down. What they didn't notice, was the furiously looking digimon, who was glaring at them from somewhere.

Up on land at the lake, the others were waiting patiently. Or well almost everyone was. Mimi seemed pretty annoyed by this whole business.

"What is taking them so long?!" she sneered and tapped annoyed with her fingers at the ground "It can't take them so long to go get a crest. I am bored!".

"Mimi try relaxing. The lake could be massive" Sora replied slowly.

"But they should have been up by now, shouldn't they? People can't hold their breath that long" she complained. Sora glared firmly at Mimi now. Chihori looked at them with big tearful eyes.

"Is big brother okay? He isn't hurt, is he?" she then asked worriedly.

"Don't worry Chihori, your brother is fine" Yamato reassured "I am sure they found a way to hold their breath longer than usual. Jyou is down there".

"Yeah Gomamon would have pulled them up if they had problems" Gabumon reassured as well and smiled. Taichi snort firmly at that.

"Yeah he is too stubborn to die. That is for sure" he replied and glared down at the water "You dare die down there Ryuhei. Not before I settled the score with you!".

"Taichi" Sora said and sighed deeply. She didn't have anything else to say really. Then suddenly a loud BOOM could be heard, and the ground around them were suddenly shaking. The others looked stunned around.

"What is happening?!" Mimi yelled up scared "Is that an earthquake?!".

"No it seem to another sort" Koushiro said thoughtfully "It seems like it came from the lake itself which mean...".

"The others are in danger" Taichi finished and looked worriedly at the lake.

Ryuhei was not sure what happened. Or what had happened actually. They had been swimming closer and closer to the crest. His tag had lit up like crazy, when suddenly BOOM something had hit them. Renamon had surprisingly, even with his moves restricted from the water, pushed him out of the way, as something had flown passed him, and slammed into some kind of stone fragment, and made everything shake. Boulders were flying like crazy, and Gomamon just managed to make his fish friends move, so they were out of reach. You couldn't say the seal wasn't creative. That was for sure. Besides the air bubbles, the marching fishes had also come together and created a creature looking like a dolphin, which they were now sitting on. It had been faster using them as swimming. They were way faster. One of the reasons, the fishes managed to save their lives for their incoming attack.

"What in the world was that?!" Jyou uttered sacredly "It felt like an incoming torpedo or something? Is Etemon or his minions attacking us?".

"No it is much worse" Gomamon uttered sacredly "He is attacking us!".

"Who?!" Jyou questioned and turned his attention to where Gomamon was looking at him.

Some meters away was a blue different colored sea dragon with a weird helmet on. It looked extremely angry, and Gomamon didn't look very happy here either.

"Tylomon!" Gomamon shouted worriedly "I guess this is his territory. He is one of the meanest ocean digimon".

Tylomon.

Special attack: Torpedo attack.

Tylomon. A dangerously sea dragon digimon, who is known with the alias 'Jet plane of the deep'. Due to its extremely ferocious personality, those that enter its territory are attacked even if the opponent is larger than itself. It is able to distinguish scents that are 1 km away from it while underwater. Its Special Move is chasing and charging into the enemy like a homing torpedo.

"What the... why in the world is he attacking us? I can't see a cable or black gear on it" Jyou uttered sacredly. Gomamon chucked sheepishly.

"Um well rumor has it, he is very territorial" Gomamon said.

"Oh and since we are here in the lake, it means we are on his territory" Ryuhei said and sneered "That limits our options".

"Yeah kinda" Gomamon agreed "We gotta get out of there". He had just said that when Tylomon of course attacked with his torpedoes. Ryuhei and Jyou had no chance to react, and so did the marching fishes. They were done for.

"Jyou!" Gomamon shouted loudly.

"Master!" Renamon shouted as well. Light emitted from their digivices and their digimon partner of course began evolving.

"Gomamon Shinka Ikkakumon".

"Renamon Shinka Kyubimon".

Ryuhei didn't manage to see much of the incoming attack because Renamon had shielded him by wrapping all his tails around him. Then it intercepted the attack.

"Harpoon torpedo!" Ikkakumon shouted and fired his attack. Sadly, Tylomon were exceptional quick in the waters, and the attack missed. Ikkakumon hissed angrily.

"We need to get to higher ground" the digimon said and looked over at Kyubimon. Jyou had just climbed on his back "I am not sure how long the bubbles will hold since I am not Gomamon any longer".

He had just said that when the bubbles exploded and Ryuhei, Renamon and Jyou had to hold their breath in.

"He is quicker than us" Ikkakumon mused and looked at Kyubimon "You need to create a diversion of some kind".

Kyubimon nodded. It could after all not talk right now. With quick movements he lifted Ryuhei up on his back with his tails. Then light emitted from his tails. Blue flames shoot forward and attacked Tylomon. The digimon of course just dodged it, but Kyubimon continued on and on firing the blue flames endlessly at the digimon. Tylomon just dodged and dodged. Ryuhei didn't understand what was going on here. Why continue doing that? Then he groaned groggily. He was almost out of breath. Then without warning Kyubimon moved its tails around, and as he did the flames did as well. They surrounded Tylomon and suddenly glowing brightly. So much the digimon had to close its eyes.

"Now! Let's go!" Ikkakumon shouted and swam forward.

He bit around Kyubimon's tails and pulled him upwards along with Ryuhei and Jyou on its back. Kyubimon was not able to swim much on its own.

"They have been down there for quite some time" Koushiro said thoughtfully "That, and there were these noises. Almost like fighting. I think an evil digimon attacked them". The others looked rather horrified at him.

"Big brother!" Chihori shouted worriedly and were about to jump into the lake by herself when Gabumon and Gazimon were holding her back.

"No stop don't do anything foolish" Gazimon uttered worriedly.

"But... but" Chihori said as tears fell down her cheeks "My big brother!".

"You can't help him. You will just be in the way" Gabumon replied firmly "Leave everything to Yamato and the others. We will help him".

"You damn right" Taichi said and clenched his fists "I still have business with that know it all, so he dare to die down there".

"Taichi don't be foolish. We don't know what is down there" Yamato said and grabbed around his shoulder. Taichi just snort annoyed.

"Are you saying we should just let them die down there? Ryuhei and Jyou? How cowardly Yamato!" Taichi sneered back at him.

"No I just say we shouldn't do something reckless" Yamato cut him of "We just need a plan first. That is all". Koushiro hummed a little.

"Well according to the digimon we have at our disposals, only Gomamon and Jyou are able to cross the ocean" He said thoughtfully "We could of course just attack the lake, but since we don't know what is truly going on down there, it could be dangerous for Jyou and Ryuhei, as well as their partners".

"That is why I was gonna jump down there!" Taichi defended and sneered "We are wasting time discussing this... I...".

He never managed to say anything else, because a loud splashing sound could be heard. They all turned towards it, as Ikkakumon surfaced from the lake, and tossed Ryuhei and Kyubimon up ashore. Jyou was sitting at Ikkakumon's back and were gasping for air. Just as Ryuhei and his partner were at the shore. Chihiro's eyes lit up and she rushed over towards her brother.

"Big brother!" she shouted as she tossed arms around his neck and cried like hell.

Ryuhei were still coughing up sea water, but soon he sat up and placed arms around his little sister. The other chosen children assembled around him, and Jyou jumped off his partners back too. Just for safety.

"What in the world happened?!" Taichi were the first asking. "Did you get the crest?".

Ryuhei coughed a little before he shook his head. His eyes wandered to Kyubimon who also seemed to have slowly recovered.

"No we got... attacked" Ryuhei then replied, "We need to...". He didn't manage to say much more because the surface once again exploded with a lot of water.

"That is a Tylomon!" Tentomon uttered shocked "This is not good. We are in a Tylomon's territory. He will follow us to the worlds end to kill us".

"Tylomon?" Koushiro questioned. The digimon fired another Torpedo attack at all of them, but Ikkakumon charged at him, making the torpedo attack lose their intended target which had been Jyou. Jyou sighed relieved at that.

"Nice safe Ikkakumon! Just give back at him!" he then shouted encouraging.

Ikkakumon fired his harpoon Vulcan, and in some way, it was now a submarine fight to see whose torpedoes hit first. In the meantime, Ryuhei filled them in on everything. The others were not pleased by that.

"So we need to defeat him, so you can gain your crest? Not good" Yamato said and bit his lip in worried matter "You all were lucky to survive just now".

"Hmm he is extremely fast. Even Ikkakumon can't keep up with this Tylomon" Koushiro said thoughtfully "Hmm I wonder, maybe an air attack or maybe...".

A loud sound could be heard as Kyubimon fired its small flames at the digimon. It was always either targeting Jyou or Ryuhei. Kyubimon was determined to defend his master. Ryuhei even had to pull Mimi away from shooting line, which was not something she was liking very much. A sound of another torpedo could be heard, and the others ran away as fast as they could from the lake coast. Sadly, Chihori was not fast enough. She tripped and fell to the ground. Just as the torpedo hit the ground and made the earth crumble around Chihori. She fell into the lake without warning.

"Chihori!" Both Ryuhei and Gazimon uttered and rushed back to the lake.

Ryuhei jumped in without hesitation, while Gazimon looked disgusted at the water before him. Seconds later, he jumped in as well, even though he disliked water so much. The others looked horrified after him.

Ryuhei was holding his breath as much as he could, while swimming down in the lake. He could see her sister float downwards in the deep waters. Ryuhei figured the blast had knocked her out even before she fell into the lake, which was in some way a good thing. She couldn't have swallowed a lot of water then. What was even more surprising was that Gazimon was most faster than he was. The little cat/rabbit digimon could apparently swim very well. Maybe that was because he just wanted out of this stupid lake or safe Chihori. Maybe both. Gazimon was quick at his sister's side, when the cat suddenly looked shocked up at him. It took Ryuhei a minute to realize that he was looking at something behind him. Ryuhei turned his gaze slowly towards his appended doom. Tylomon was of course behind him. The digimon let out an animal scream, and were surely about to attack, but Ryuhei was not letting him. He had surpringly managed to jump up on his back, which once again made the digimon attack fail. It couldn't build up attack power when Ryuhei was at it's back. Sometimes Ryuhei wondered where all that strength came from every time his sister was in danger. He send Gazimon a glare telling the digimon to get out of the way, and the cat like digimon nodded. There was just one problem. Gazimon wasn't as quick to get upwards as he was getting down. Maybe it was because he had only focused in saving Chihori and now that he didn't need to do that, he lost that speed he just had, or because he was just better at swimming downwards than upwards. Regardless the case, they needed more time. Time Ryuhei didn't have. He wasn't even sure Gazimon had, since both of them were losing their breaths. However, Tylomon clearly didn't want to wait that long. He was clearly annoyed Ryuhei was so bold to climb up on his back in the first place. Therefore he changed tactic. He swam fast forward like a raging bull and slammed himself inside the cliff walls. A fierce fight in getting Ryuhei off him. Ryuhei just had to hang on at dear life.

"I can't keep this up. I need to... do something" Ryuhei thought to himself "I need to... No I am losing air. I need... air. I...".

Without warning Ryuhei's Tag suddenly lit up. Much more than it had done beforehand. Ryuhei managed to open an eye. Tylomon had slammed its head at the rock wall somewhere deep in the lake, and revealed a flame looking symbol. 

Ryuhei knew without a doubt, it was his crest. His Tag made the crest react as well. It shrunk down and placed itself in Ryuhei's tag. Just as it had done with Jyou and Taichi's. Then without warning, the water current suddenly changed. Ryuhei were of course tossed of Tylomon's back. The digimon looked even more bewildered. A giant hole had appeared in the ocean and began sucking in the water, and everything around them. What was even more surprising was that Ryuhei in that moment could breathe.

"Ryuhei, Chihori! Someone help!" he could suddenly hear Gazimon yell and turned around where he had heard the voice.

Gazimon were holding on with a claw in the cliff side, while holding Chihori in the other. They were both about to get sucked into that mysterious hole. Tylomon was funny enough not affected, but when he saw Ryuhei swim towards both of them, it turned its attention towards all three of them. In some way saying that it was blaming them for ruining its home. It charged after them. Ryuhei groaned annoyed. They needed help! They needed... Fire suddenly hit the digimon and it let out a loud scream. Ryuhei's eyes widened. That was Kyubimon's dragon wheel and it had just send the digimon badly injured down in the depths of the ocean. Kyubimon was of course beside Ryuhei in matter of seconds.

"Master how come I can breathe here?" Kyubimon questioned "No other place gives me the...".

He didn't manage to say more as the force of the hole suddenly got stronger. It pulled them even more, and Ryuhei and the others couldn't resist. They all got dragged inside the hole. What they didn't know was that the hole closed behind them as soon as they did. It leaved no trace behind.

Time skip with the others.

"Gomamon, what do you mean you can't find them?!" Jyou uttered rather shocked. The seal looked as worried as Jyou was it.

"It means we can't find them" he replied "Me and the marching fishes searched the lake the best we could. Only thing we found was an injured Tylomon at the bottom of the lake. We treated him, and he said they were sucked into a hole".

"Into a hole? Are you joking?" Jyou uttered annoyed. Gomamon shook his head.

"Well no, but I can't seem to find that hole" the seal replied and sighed "Maybe he was lying...". Koushiro went thoughtful a little.

"Maybe... or maybe not" he then said "Remember, every time we found a crest, we were wrapped somewhere else. Like in the Koromon village. In Jyou's case we were able to escape Etemon's trap. What if... for them to escape Tylomon's assault, were wrapped somewhere else? That is, if Ryuhei did in fact find his crest".

"Well it could be reasonable. We have discovered some strange things here after all" Yamato replied slowly "But we don't have any proof of that either".

"Are Chihori and her brother gone for good?" Takeru questioned sacredly and Yamato tapped his head reassuring him that they would find him.

"Hey, have you noticed that the digivice is beeping?" Mimi then suddenly said and shook it rather wildly "It drives me crazy". Sora grabbed hers as well.

"Well is it me or are it showing something in that direction?" she then said and pointed in an unknown direction "I can't get a clear signal though".

"Maybe Chihori and Ryuhei are there!" Takeru said in a happy tone.

"Hmm yeah could be" Koushiro said thoughtfully "Maybe they are like radio sensors. Do wonder how that works though". Taichi rolled his eyes a little.

"Well we just have to try and give it a shoot" he then said firmly "They are not here after all. So let's go!". The others nodded, and they began walking in that direction the digivices were showing them.

And so the chosen children went out to find their two missing members. Will they be successful? What had happened to Ryuhei, Chihori and their partners? Why where they swept away? And what is the unknown connection who ties Etemon and Chihori's Gazimon together? All that and more will be answered in the next chapter of digimon adventures.

A,N: Well that was the next chapter of digimon. Cruel ending I know. And so sorry for the wait. I had been sick for a long time. I had a concussion and it took me awhile to recover. I am still not fully up to date, so updates will still go a little slow. Hope you can still wait a little. As for the next chapter. Chihori has her own adventure in some way with Gazimon since well Ryuhei is kinda out of it. There you will get revealed more of Gazimon background story. So hope that sounds interesting.
