TW: Highschool AU

Title: ~Sing Along~

"I’ve got one word for you: sing along." 

The entire committee of the school’s Student Counselor program sat in the empty cafeteria after school hours had ended. It was a daily routine to meet up there after school, to discuss up coming events, such as the Winter Dance. The committee’s members are: Xephos, as the leader; Honeydew, as his assistant; and Lomadia, NanoSounds, Nilesy, and Lalna as the rest of the group. 

Currently everyone was looking at Honeydew, who had one foot on the table they were sitting at, the other on his chair. He’s the one who suggested a sing-along. 

"A sing-along?" Xephos wondered. He picked up the notebook he had and a pen. "I guess that could work." He scribbled the idea down. 

"A sing-along? Who would want to do a sing-along?" Nano asked. 

"A lot of people!" Honeydew argued. "Who doesn’t?"

"I don’t!" Nano said. 

Honeydew mocked gasp and faked a fall from the table. A few people stifled a chuckle when the short student almost actually did fall, but managed not to. He stood across from Nano and put his hands on the table. 

"How dare you!" He said in a fake offended voice. 

"I don’t like sing alongs! They’re boring!" Nano replied, quite amused by Honeydew’s actions. 

"How is singing along to your favorite song boring?!" Honeydew asked. 

"It just is!" Nano replied. royale 

"Is this boring?” Honeydew asked, then took a deep breath. “If you want to be roooooyyaaaaaal!”

"No!" A collective shout from everyone in unison. 

"Alright! Alright! We’ll have a sing-along!" Nano said, laughing. 

"I knew I’d get my way," Honeydew said smugly. "And you’re going to be the first one to come up. With me." 

"Oh no," Nano shook her head, like she was regretting her decision. 

"Oh yes!" Honeydew added, once again standing on the chair. "This will be the best dance ever!" 

Despite her reluctance, Nano smiled. Maybe a sing-along won’t be so bad.
