He's Not All That Bad

Ed's POV
Al and I looked at one another. Mustang was here! I should've expected actually. Hughes lead Mustang to where Winry, Al, Elicia and I were all seated. "Uncle Roy!" Elicia cheered, running towards him for a hug. Mustang smiled himself and picked her up as she hugged him. After, he placed her back down with Winry.

"Alright you three. This is Roy Mustang. Also he's one of my closet friends." Hughes explained.

"Nice to meet all of you." He said. He then saw me and we made eye contact.

"It's you from the book store." He finally said. I nodded.

"Yeah." I replied. Mustang looked deep in thought about something, I just didn't know what.

"Edward Elrock right?" He asked.

"It's Elric. Edward Elric." I muttered angrily. He nodded.

"I'm Alphonse Elric. Ed's younger brother." Al greeted.

"And I'm Winry Steinglocke. Nice to meet you Mr. Mustang." She greeted. He smiled nervously at her.

"You can just call me Roy. You don't have to be so formal." He explained. They both nodded.

"So, what do you do for a living?" Al asked. Hughes jumped in before Mustang even got a chance.

"He's a journalist! An amazing on at that!" He exclaimed. We all nodded. We continued talking for a while. Occasionally laughing sometimes. We all had stories to share. Except, I didn't trust Mustang enough yet. Crazy right? He's still like the same old Mustang I grew feelings for and yet I don't trust him a whole lot.

"Oh. By the way Edward." Mustang began.

"Hm?" I replied.

"You dropped your book earlier. Here you go." He said, handing me the book I forgot to get.

"Thank you. I owe you now don't I?" I asked him.

"I don't want any money or anything. You can repay me by hanging out with me tomorrow. Sound like a plan?" He asked. I looked at him. I couldn't help but smile.

"Sure. What time and where?" I asked.

"We could just meet up at the bookstore at twelve okay?" He replied. I nodded.

-Time Skip-

Al and I were walking home after dropping Winry off.

"Brother what made you say that earlier? You barely know him." He questioned. I shrugged.

"Well, he's like our Mustang. So, I guess that's half the battle." I said, looking at Al. I then looked up at the shinning white almost silver moon.

"Besides, Roy isn't all that bad."

Bam! Two new chapters to completely different stories! Bai guys! See you next chapter!
