Ed's POV
Al and I walked around town for a bit. We passed bakery's, food stands, other stores and such. It was all a blur of red, green, brown, and gray. The buildings were all made of cement or stone. We walked past one of the bakery's and Al stopped.

"Hey Brother? Could we get a cake for later on?" He asked. I chuckled. Al's eyes lit up when he saw the cake. It was a yellow color and had a mix of chocolate and vanilla frosting on top. With that, strawberries and parts of bananas were all around the edge of the cake. I nodded.

"Sure Al. I'm almost positive Hughes, Gracia and Elicia would love it." I replied smiling. I was glad that their family relationship was in this world too.

"How old she turning today?" I asked.

"Hm. I think Elicia's turning three today." Al replied. I nodded.

"Should we take Winry with us?" I chuckled. Al couldn't help but laugh himself.

"Sure. Why not." He decided. I nodded. We walked into the bakery. Inside, there were shelves of treats. And there was also some buckets with candies. Then, towards the left side of the room, there was a table laid out. On it, were different types of cakes and cookies. Al and I walked towards the cake we saw in the window.

"Uh excuse me?" I asked. The person at the register smiled.

"Welcome to Sakura Bakery! How may I help you?" She asked. I pointed to the cake.

"My brother and I would like to buy this cake." I replied. She nodded.

"Give me one second please." She pleaded as she ran to the back room. She then returned with a white box and ran towards us. "Here. Hold the box for me please." I nodded.

"Okay." I replied as I held the box. She picked the cake carefully and placed the cake carefully into the box. I handed her the money for the cake.

"Thank you for your purchase!" She exclaimed as Al and I walked out.

"Let's get to the book store now." I declared. He nodded.

"Okay Brother." He replied.

-Time Skip-

We walked to the book store and I couldn't resist smiling. Al and I walked into the store and I handed him the cake.

"Could you hold this while I find a book?" I asked. Al nodded.

"Sure thing." He replied. I walked over to the book shelves and began looking. When I finally found the book, I growled in frustration. It was way to high for me to reach. I sighed.

"Looks like I have to use the good old jump and reach!" I mumbled. I sighed and tried to jump. As I did, I tried to grab the book. I missed it and landed on the ground. 

"One more try!" I said as I jumped again. I missed the book again and also lost my footing on the ground. "Gah!" I yelped.

"Woah! Be careful there!" Someone exclaimed as I fell into their grasp.

"Heh....sorry about that." I apologized. I looked up at him. He was wearing glasses. He had short black hair and was wearing a brown coat. He also had a white turtle neck with a low brown V vest on. I stared at him in shock.

"Colonel?!"
