Greatness I wonder what one would define it as 

Is it my actions that give me such a brazen sense of entitlement 

For I excelled at something that any capable mind could grip

Or is it because my accolades speak louder than my voice can get

What is greatness? Is it me exceeding the limits that you set

The trials that you threw at me that mean nothing to my real life 

Because after all when this life is over will this greatness proceed me 

Is it something that others can look at and overshadow me outside of that

Or is it just something that you may call me for what I've done but not for the foundation I set

For my loved ones growing up chasing such a ghost of a word

Only for a momentary victory.
