This tale begins on a scorching summer day

All the children were laughing so eager to play

By the pool they all waited for the counselors to say

You may now enter the water no horseplaying be safe

But one kid didn't move he had found a distraction

She was beautiful and how eyes glew like a chemical reaction

He was stuck for he knew it was something that he was under

And much to his surprise he had just laid eyes on summer

He was smitten but they were children he didn't know how to react

He just felt something pull him and he wanted to be attached

I just summarized the summer when he met his first love

So let's Segway to fall and see how he does

Summer was now over and she was still fresh on his mind

So he quickly devised a plan on how she would become mine

He gathered the courage to ask her, her name and her age

And he wondered if she was interested to go on a date

She simply replied yes with a smile that was so wide

That he felt a big explosion like the fourth deep inside

Would a picnic be nice? So we can watch the leaves fall

But little did he know that on this day he'd be the one falling

They met up at the park as he laid out the spread

They enjoyed each other's company as she got in his head

The boy is now happy all the leaves are now dead

So now it's time for spring let's put the flowers to bed

Springtime is here all the flowers were blooming

And his love for summer was oh so consuming

They'd gotten close with time and they talked every night

He always made her smile and they never had a fight

Things were going well until one fateful day

He went to her with a rose to the house in which she stays

But she was no longer there, her and her family moved away

Unable to comprehend he called her phone to say

But it was disconnected he felt his heart break this day

Now we move to winter he has had his heart snatched away

So let's see how he's fairing as the snow falls outside his window

It's winter now and it's frozen like the depths of his heart

He thought he had something special and now it's all fell apart

He's in pain and it tortures him for summer was his love

But she up and left with no warning there no way that could be love

So now the boys frigid like the cold winter's night

Unable to trust anyone not even the friends in his sight

And it all started with summer but by the winter he was freezing

I can't blame him for his disdain he was betrayed by the seasons.
