What are scars?
Scars are often affiliated with pain
But I wear mine like a badge of honor
For if you don't have scars you've never lived

Scars teach you lessons
Some painful yet some gainful
You earn wisdom with every scar accumulated
Whether it's a cut unintentional

Or a cut intentionally made
You learn what to and what not to do
How to love how not to love
Scars are beautiful in way
Depending on how you look at them

When your heart is scarred
You know how not to be loved
You barricade yourself
And come out reinvented

Whether bitter or stronger
You learned from that scar
So when you think of the scars you have
Take a look at them and imagine the meaning.
