I've had the honor of meeting some incredible poets

Some are rhymers, some storytellers, but all are explosive

All have a passion, all are my inspiration

All can be the face of this promising generation

I admire the words they speak, their fire and dedication

Anytime I read their work I'm dazzled in mesmerization

So to those poets I thank you for making me write better

For I'm inspired by what you do and this is an open letter

To share with you my gratitude for the impact you've made

And I'll keep making my work with respect for you everyday.
