I've put countless amount of hours, my tears, and dedication

Studied my inner workings like I was getting an education

Found power in desperation and zen in meditation

Just to give you my visions like a dose of medication

I propelled myself to this moment where I have nothing to fear

As I walk out on this platform to give the picture clear

And show to you my passion plus the embers that burn bright

So reflective of my emotions as I'm standing here in this light

I was just given a mic so I welcome you to this performance

It's a combination of drive and raw potential enormous

Metaphors, maybe quotes, maybe letters, or written notes

A story, an anecdote, or whatever you want the most

Audience participation is very welcome indeed

To you I devote this show because in me you have believed

So now I repay that trust by exploding out of my shell

I know as long as I'm true then these words of mine I cannot fail.
