Have you ever had someone that you would give the world for

I mean go above and beyond your threshold to be in their corner

Only to find later that they've been plotting your demise

And it feels like you've been stabbed and they left the knife inside

I mean you would've laid down your life

You had that type of commitment to this individual

Only to be betrayed that's downright despicable

You were there when they were miserable and crying over a broken heart

Took them in when they lost family all for the sake of being loyal

Just to be smacked in the face for doing your absolute best

Never ran out even though the signs indicated you should

But you disregarded it all and fought for who you called friend

And it only turned out they were a backstabber in the end.
