In stark contrast to the Moon the sun shines brighter

Only to magnify the radiance in which enlightens the shadows

Sending the darkness back where it came from as it tries to capture me

But I'm running from the apparitions that seem to follow my footsteps

Planted within this Earth's soil leaving traces of my identity

For those coming after to find hoping they'll tell my story

The lone survivor of my past as my present seems to be blurred

But I'm running towards the future not knowing what to expect

Only knowing that if the past that's haunting me is what to come

I'm not going to survive much longer and all is lost.
