Shawn's POV

So many questions needed to be answered. I still had 3 hours before I pick Erin up. What if I do fall for her? What would happen?

No. I'm thinking too much. There's no way I would fall for her. I kind of already have feelings for Camila (Cabello). Camila probably doesn't like me back, but she's just amazing. Each time she sings, it makes my heart stop. She has such an amazing voice. Every time we talk, she's always trying to make me laugh and she succeeds. Her jokes and her stupid puns get me every single time.

I've had little images, of me and her looking into each others eyes, pop up into my brain. (Picture above 😏). I should tell Camila about my feelings soon. It might change our relationship with each other in a good way but on the other hand, it might not.

My phone suddenly makes a ping sound. It was Erin.

I quickly message her back,

Sweet, thanks. See you soon. :)

-------- *2 hours later*

I finally finished getting ready. I had to put on a little bit more make up to hide my pimples. It took me a while to find suitable clothes. And it took me a while to get out of the shower. I love showers.

I decided to leave my house early because Erin's house was half an hour away from mine.

"See you later, Aaliyah. Tell mom I'm going out," I said. Aaliyah just waved me off.

When I finally reached Erin's house, I saw her through the window. She looked... stunning. Even if she wasn't wearing a dress she looked so pretty. She was a brunette like Camila but her hair was way more lighter.

I rang the doorbell and waited for her to open the door. But instead of seeing her face, I see a man's face. He gave me a surprised look.

"Aren't you... aren't you Shawn Mendes? Like the Shawn Mendes?" he asked me.

"Yes I am, sir. I'm just here to take your daughter out for a walk in the park if that's alright. I promise to bring her home safely," I answered back. He gave me an approving look. He turned his back towards me and yelled Erin's name out. I heard a girl's voice screaming back, "COMING!".

I suddenly saw a familiar face. Erin. She had a bright smile plastered on her face. "You ready?" she asked, cheerfully.
"I'm ready if you are," I said back.
I noticed her dad watching us intensely.
"And it was nice meeting you, Mr Robinson."

He nodded and waited until Erin was outside so he could shut the door. "Is there a specific park you wanted to go to?" I politely asked.

She just kept smiling. A few seconds later she says, "I have one in mind."
