Max POV:

Everything that happened next was a blur, well, to me at least.

Ladybug lunged for the woman, but the woman dodged her attack and punched her, sending Ladybug flying, if not for her yoyo grasping onto a nearby pillar, Ladybug would have crashed into the wall and knocked herself out until who knows when.

Then, all the rest of the hooded figures ran towards the woman and a few did some really startling moves, one person blasted lots of dark thingies towards the woman, the other two were desperately truing to attack the woman.

Soon, three other hooded figures joined, one kept disappearing and appearing from one spot to another, launching sneak attacks at the woman, another was blasting huge amounts of water at the woman, another, was trying to sneak up onto the woman, before the woman punching him in the face leaving him stunned.

I just stood there.

What are you doing? Get up and fight! My brain screamed.

I sighed and muttered a few unpleasant words before running towards the woman and flinging hismyThe woman dodged it easily, while still holding onto Gabriel.

Fortunately, one hooded figure(Sophie) blasted a few tiny cubes at the woman, and the cubes exploded, making everyone cough.

The hooded figure smirked,"Courtesy of Dex."

Things couldn't get any worse.

But just then, a dude appeared and started blasting fire at everyone.

The universe just loved proving me wrong. How nice.

Ladybug snarled and went after him, and the rest circled the woman, launching attacks at her.

Finally, the woman said,"I'll go. Okay? Just give me my son!"

"Never!"A hooded figure shouted, he tackled his mother down and while he did that, I quickly pushed Gabriel away and Adrien/Chat Noir stood up and fought with us.

He lunged for his dad, threw himself and Gabriel and fought him, each dodging the others attacks.

When I looked up, he saw Ladybug and the dude fighting, though Ladybug definitely did not look like she was winning, the dude just kept on blasting fire at her, and Ladybug was barely keeping up.

I flung my boomerang, and unfortunately, it hit Ladybug, knocking her out.

The dude smiled and grabbed Ladybug, ready to kill her, but before he could, someone yelled,"STOP!"

I turned to face.....an old man.

The old man raised his hands and both the dude and the woman suddenly froze and started flying, literally.

The woman growled,"I knew this would happen, but not to worry! I've got a plan!"she took out a crystal and raised it towards the light, and in a flash they were gone.

But I swore I heard her say before she left,"I won't come back, but I WILL get my son back."

After she left, everyone cornered Gabriel (and luckily, we had caught his assistant too,)and Chat Noir asked with a shaky breath, "Why'd you do it?"

Gabriel sighed,"Your mother died, I loved her. I needed to bring her back. Then...I heard what the miraculous could do, and....you know what happened.."

"But I could have died! There is always a price to pay! Don't you know?"

"I know...but...I needed  to bring her back, I loved her!"Gabriel sobbed.

I kinda felt sorry for Gabriel, I mean his wife died.

"No matter, you two are still going into jail!"Adrien hissed.

"But before that, we have important matters to do first."The old man said, he looked at me.

But before I could ask him what we had to do, I blacked out.
