TROYE'S POV

I was roaming about the city which was growing quite quickly. Then I saw him. Laying on a bench. I ran to him, feeling amazing.

I shook him awake. "TYLER!!! TYLER IT'S YOU!!"

His eyes opened and he immediately smiled.

"Troye??"

"How did you get here tyler??"

"I ran. I ran from city to city to find you.." He smiled to himself. Adorable.

"Oh my gosh! Come on." I said, grabbing his hand, leading him toward my house. I loved the way it felt to hold his hand, even if it didn't mean anything right now.

We walked in and The Cellos smiled at Tyler's appearance.

"Hi Tyler!" Diana said, "we are Troye's old neighbors, but he's very much a part of our family.

"Diana! He ran here. To.." I suddenly couldn't finish.

"I ran here to find Troye." Tyler looked at me and smiled at my awkward word loss.
God Troye, he probably thinks he made a huge mistake by coming here for me!! Get your shit together!!!

I walked upstairs to my room, and Tyler followed. We sat in silence, not sure what to do at first.

"I couldn't stop thinking about you... So I needed to find you." He said,  running a hand through his hair. I don't know what the point of him saying this was, to break the silence, or maybe it actually had meaning.

I blushed at his comment. He laughed at me, but not in an insulting way. We kind of just sat around until later on, we got our phones again. I didn't know what to think of this progression.. Things can't be the same again. Tyler said he was gonna go find something to do, maybe volunteer work, so I let him go off by himself.  I sat on my bed. I grabbed my phone and went to YouTube. I looked up 'Fun Troye Sivan'. As the music played, I sang along. I felt okay again. Like the world didn't just practically explode.

"Well don't you wanna see the world, boy?

All the countries and their stars, boy

Just don't look them in the eyes boy.." I sang.

I continued to listen to my music, and sing along. Tyler walked in, catching me off guard.

"I love it when you sing" he said. I wasn't sure what to say.

When night fall came, we realized that we'd have to either sleep in the same bed or one on the floor, one on the bed.

"I'll sleep on the floor, Tyler."

"No. You're putting up with me in your house, let me take the floor." I didn't argue so Tyler crawled on the carpet.

I lay in my bed, and smiled to myself. I was so happy that Tyler was here. He reminded me that it's okay to be gay. I took a deep breath. I drifted off to sleep. When I woke up, I was startled slightly to find an arm over me. Tyler's arm over me. I looked over at him. He was deeply asleep. He's so cute when he sleeps.

I crawled out of bed and got on my phone. I noticed Tyler had been secretly on his phone last night, on Twitter. He retweeted a Troyler picture collage, which brought a smile to my face. I missed making videos, doing what I love. I didn't want things to be this way anymore.

My phone screen went black for a minute then President Kay showed up.

"Gays are not okay. I want everyone who's gay to not be open with it... If you disobey, you shall be punished, even as far as execution. I'm leading the people to  what's right. I'm creating very special things with my fellow scientists... Gays will not exist soon enough. Your welcome."

All of Kay's showings never told us quite everything. What is he creating?

When Tyler woke up, I showed him what Kay said. He looked confused.

"He never  tells us everything."

"I know.."

Tyler looked directly at me. His eyes felt like they could just melt my entire soul. He looked like he was going to say something else, but stopped himself and just said, "we should make a video." Instead.

"Okay"

I set up the camera. I turned it on and we started.

"Hi people!!" Tyler shouted in his usual enthusiasm.

I waved to the camera.

"I know you might be scared or worried about President Kay's decisions but just know that we will see the light at the end of the tunnel."
What the hell are you doing, Tyler?

"Yes. Um.." I said. Why am I so fucking awkward?!?

"We're going to play two truths, one lie. So one of us says two things that are true, and one of them is a lie."

"And the other person has to guess the lie."

"They can be in any order" Tyler adds, "Troye, you first."

"I was hit by a car when I was younger, I had a crush on Meghan Fox as a child, and I love nutella."

"THIS IS EASY!!" Tyler said, laughing, "the lie is the Meghan Fox one."

"Yeah.." I said.

We continued to play for about ten minutes.

After saying goodbye to the camera, and uploading our video, we got some food to eat and then took a walk.

TYLER'S POV

As we walked, I was more than tempted to grab Troye's hand, but I didn't. We stopped at a newly installed pond, and watched the ducks.

I took my phone out and quickly texted Zoe what happened, just now remembering I escaped in the middle of the night.

"Who's so important?" Troye asked, seeing the speed of my thumbs, typing the letters.

"Zoe"

"Okay." He says, and looks out at the ducks again.

Zoe replied and said it's okay that I needed to be with Troye. I put my phone in my pocket and without Troye realizing it, I stared at him, admiring him.
Damn it, Troye, why do you have to be so perfect??

He looked over at me, just as I looked back to the ducks. We got back home, and later that night, officials came to the door, they asked for me and Troye. Diana looked hesitant.

"They won't be back very soon.. It's for President Kay."

"Won't be back soon?!?!" Diana looked worried.

"Just come on, boys."

We walked out and the official ordered us to his car. He drove us away from the city. It started raining and it was dark outside. I couldn't see very much,but I found Troye's hand, and laced our fingers together. The drive took forever. We got to a big steel building, and walked inside. President Kay was waiting for us with Alfie and Zoe. They both looked scared. Zoe was on the edge of tears at the sight of us. Troye grabbed my hand again.

"I've got a surprise for you, Troyler .. " President Kay said with an evil smile.
