TYLER'S POV

Scientist #1 dragged me down a  hallway with bright fluorescent light. My heart is racing as scientist #1 refuses to let me go. We walk into a big room with cages, four of them. Scientist #1 carries me away to one of the cages and locks the door, as he steps in with me.

The scientist pushes a button, making the cage walls turn to metal walls. He grabs a bottle with simulation shit in it.

"Drink this and you won't feel a thing."

I don't know why, but I took the bottle and drank the green liquid. My vision starts to blur as I fall into unconsciousness only to wake up again, trying to escape the simulation. I black out for a few minutes until I wake up, seeing Troye Sivan in front of me. It's Troye!!

I get up and go to hug him but he punches me in the jaw.

This isn't Troye in front of me.

I try to kick him but the simulation makes me slow, sleepy, and weak.

He punches me in the nose and I wonder what this is about. He punches my arm right as a drop of blood escapes my nose, dropping to the floor. I'm confused because I see Troye Sivan in front of me but then I see scientist #1. My vision fades away until I finally pass out.

I open my eyes to see that I'm alone, slunked against a wall. The blood from my nose has dripped onto my shirt but that's the least of my worries. I try to fall asleep on the cold metal but I can't. I'm so tired but there's too much on my mind to sleep. I'm worried about Troye and my friends. I'm worried about myself. I'm worried that this war isn't yet over.

I decide not to fight it, and let my thoughts eat me alive. Speaking of eating, I haven't eaten anything in awhile. I took a deep breathe and lay down, staring off into oblivion, letting my thoughts consume me. I eventually dozed off, sweet sleep taking me away.

I awoke, and saw a plate of food in front of me. I also notice scientist #1 on a wooden chair. He pushed that button, the cage returning.

"You can see everyone else. You can't hear each other, though." Scientist #1 explains. I stare at Troye and he can see me too. I curl my fingers around the wire and stare at Troye, a few feet away. Tears drip down my cheek. I mouth the words "I love you" and he does the same, having an emotional breakdown.

The metal plates return and scientist #1 says, "eat." So I do. I eat some toast and scrambled eggs.

I glare at the demon in front of me.

"My name is Hunter" He says, "I have another simulation for you."

"Great" I say as I accept it. I slip into the simulation and curse myself for not putting up a fight.

I'm driving in a car, Zoe in the backseat. It's midnight. I keep driving, struggling to keep my eyes on the road. I want to sleep. But I can't. Zoe tells me "we're here". Apparently 'here' means on the top of a mountain, during a summer midnight. All the stars are visible as Zoe and I crawl out of the car.

She laces her fingers with mine and I have to stop from smiling.

"Look" Zoe says in a whisper, pointing at a constellation.

She then looks me in the eyes, her eyes mirroring the sparkle of the stars. She stands on her tiptoes and kisses me slowly. She keeps her arms wrapped around me even when our kiss is over.

"I love you" she says ever so beautifully.

"I love you too" I say, without hesitation.

I jolt awake, tears streaming down my face.

I scream once I realize I am alone. I love Troye. Not Zoe!! Scientist #1 walks in, and sits in front of me.

"Help me!!" I beg him as I try to stand up, but unable to.

"Your name is Tyler Oakley. You're in love with Zoe." He said, making eye contact.

"No I love Troye! You don't understand!"

"Your name is Tyler Oakley. You're in love with Zoe."

"No!"

"Your name is Tyler Oakley. You're in love with Zoe." He repeats.

"No I'm not!" I say, beginning to get frustrated.

"Your name is Tyler Oakley. You're in love with Zoe."

I scream.
