One beautiful morning here at the Green Hill Zones, a young pink hedgehog named Amy Rose, who is at Y/n the hedgehog's house because she is planning something special for him to show him how she loves him as she knocks on the front door at his house, while humming happily for Y/n to open the door.

Y/n then opens the door, rubbing his eyes to see a pink-colored picnic table cloth with a picnic basket, some soda cans, gift boxes, some food and a plate of chili dogs, which left the F/c hedgehog confused to what's going on here.

Y/n: Huh? What the?

Amy: *Singing in the tune of "Happy Birthday to You"* Happy Y/n to You! Happy Y/n to You! I Made You Chili Dogs! You're My Best Dream Come True!

Y/n was a bit creeped out by Amy singing a song about him with a plate piled with a mountain of chili dogs as another attempt in getting him to be in a romantic relationship with her, which he always rejected her because he doesn't share the same feelings as her.

You see, Y/n and Amy have been in a will-they-won't-they type of deal in a really, really long time since they both crossed paths with each other during one of Y/n's missions on foiling another one of Dr. Robotnik's evil schemes, which lead Amy to develop a crush on Y/n for his brave and heroic acts that later turned into an unhealthy obsession that not even the F/c hedgehog can run away from with his SF/c running shoes.

Amy: I made you chili dogs! Do you love it? I realized there are all sorts of days, Christmas Day, Easter Day, Valentine's Day, but no day to celebrate the most wonderfulest, most perfect, most dreamy hedgehog in the whole world, (Inhales) so I decided to make one.

Y/n is already not liking this moment right now as he beginning to sweat bullets now.

Amy: Welcome to the very first Y/n Appreciation Day!

Then a sign popped up with the words, "Y/n Appreciation Day" and Y/n already knew that this is another one of Amy's romantic-scenario attempts to get him to like her back, which always fails every single time as Amy lists off the not-so-fun-and-romantic "Y/n Appreciation Day" activities.

Amy: Forst, we can have breakfast, then we can play games with the forest creatures you saved, we can sing songs, go for a romantic walk and watch the sunset together while I tell you how wonderful you are!

Y/n: Oh wow, that's...a lot, Amy. Thanks, but...I'm kinda busy right now. Sorry.

As much as Y/n liked saving the world from Robotnik and other baddies here in Mobius, he's not really into Amy and her romantic attempts, no matter how much effort she puts into her plans, he still rejects her every single time.

Amy: Oh busy, right...ok...sure...sorry it was a dum...

*Slam!*

Without warning, Y/n immediately slam the door on her to get out of the conversation, leaving Amy all alone, completely heartbroken after another one of Y/n's rejections, thus canceling the first day of Y/n Appreciation Day that Amy planned for him that he clearly did like at all.

Y/n: *Opens front door* Actually, I'll uh...just grab those chili dogs. *Snatches the plate of chili dogs from Amy* Be a shame to waste them.

*Slams Door*

Then Amy just stood there, still heartbroken by Y/n's rejection as she heads back to her home, crying a pool of tears, sitting on a pink chair in front of a shrine of Y/n filled with tons of photos, plushies, figurines, etc.

She looks at a framed picture of Y/n with some of her tears landed on the frame, try to figure out what she did wrong and why Y/n hasn't accepted her love for him after every single time she tried to win his heart.

When suddenly, an explosion was heard from outside that sees to come from Tails House/Lab that looks exactly like him as she ran over to Tails' house and saw Tails on the floor rubbing his head after the explosion happened in his lab/house.

Amy: Tails! Oh my! What happened? Are you hurt?

Tails: I'm okay, I'm okay. Just got a little careless us all. You could say I'm my own worst enemy!

Then Tails looked at Amy to see her crying and breaking into tears.

Tails: Ah jeez Amy, please don't cry I'm okay.

Amy: Oh no it's not that. I feel so silly! I tried to show Y/n how much I care about him, but he just doesn't wanna know! Sometimes, I think that no matter what I do he's...he's never going to love meeee! *Sobbing!*

Tails has never seen Amy like this before in his life, but seeing Amy crying over Y/n has given Tails an idea that might actually help Amy out.

Tails: There, there Amy. Y/n can be a bit of a dummy sometimes, be he'll come round. After all, who couldn't love you?

Amy: *Sniff, Sniff* You, you really think so?

Tails: I know so! You know what your problem is? You're coming on too strong. What does Y/n like to do more than anything?

Amy: Run?

Tails: EXACTLY! And you can't run after something that's always there can you? Let him chase you! Next time you see him, don't even look at him. It will drive him crazy!

Amy then was bursting with excitement and confidence from Tails' advice as she is going to listen to Tails's advice to see if it's good enough for Y/n to love her.

Amy: Oh boy, I can't wait! I'm going to ignore him so good! *Shaking Tails Hand wildly* Tails you are the greatest! Thank-you-thank-you-thank-you!

Tails: Of course! *Blushes* What are friends for!

So then, Amy ran out of Tails' house/lab to go find Y/n and do what Tails told her to do by ignoring her that is enough for Y/n to chase after her, hoping that the advice that Tails has given her work out.

However, something doesn't seem right about Tails after he has given Amy some advice about ignoring Y/n the next time she sees him. What is the two-tailed kitsune fox up to?

What kind of sick-twisted dark plan is cooking up for Amy and Y/n and when will he put his plans into action? 

We'll just have to find out in the next chapter.

After all, what are friends for?
