Before I continue, I'd like to warn you. Some parts of this story reveals some things about me I never wished to show. Nothing too bad, I swear. But I'm different now, and I'd like it to stay that way.
Moving on. The next morning, was absolute hell. The weather was misleadingly sunny and peaceful. I was minding my own business, and after the surprisingly timid conversation I had with Yeomin and Jay this morning, I had arrived at my desk.
The beginning of the end for me.
A piece of paper lay neatly in my desk:
Min Minseo
Age: 16
Audition Date: 10/16
Room: 4
Address: *AN adDrESs*
"JAY FREAKING KANG, GET YOUR ASS HERE THIS INSTANT!"
OKAY FINE. Maybe I was over the top. But let me continue. I promise, as long as we get through this, you'll understand why.
"Yes, lovely?" Jay's friend practically drags him over, and shaking, he looks towards me.
"What the absolute frick is this?" I asked, holding up the audition paper. He looked at me in complete shock.
"I can't believe you signed up for the auditions at JYP! You told me you didn't want to sing?" Sarcasm was laced in his tone. But before I could lose it, the teacher's perfect timing wasted a perfect opportunity for me to beat the absolute crap out of Jay Kang.
It really hit me. I, me, Min Minseo, was going to audition for a kpop company, not to mention, one of the top three in the country.
I WAS LOSING MY MARBLES.
There was absolutely no way in freaking hell, would I ever even pass the damn audition. I didn't know what Jay was thinking.
Class passed very slowly, and I finally got a chance to see Jay and Yeomin around lunch time.
"You're auditioning for JYP?" Yeomin asked, looking at the audition paper I put on the lunch table.
"Absolutely not. I'm calling them, and telling them it was a mistake."
"Uh, no the frick youre not." Jay complained as he continued to scarf down his lunch. "You're doing that audition."
"You can't tell me what to do dumbass."
The argument went on for quite a while. Honestly I don't really remember the whole thing, but bear with me here, this was a LONG time ago. Going back and forth with Jay, my mind was made up. I would simply tell them that the sign up was a mistake and I wasn't going to attend. Just he was persistent. He wasn't going to give in. And he didn't.
"Listen. You can come with me to the studio again, and we can practice whatever you want. You can choose a song, and I'll have my boss tell you if he thinks your voice is good enough. Which I know it already is." He explained. Crossing his arms, he looks at me intently, waiting for an answer.
Knowing there was absolutely no way of getting out of this, I agreed.
Though it wasn't that easy.
Guess my mind wasn't really made up then right?
. . .
"Did you have a song in mind?"
It was after school, in Jay's studio.
"I didn't really think about it. These auditions are usually only with JYP right?" I asked. He didn't even make a glance towards me.
"Usually, yes." He answered, looking through his papers. "Taking your vocal range in mind, and what seems like something you may enjoy singing. What about this?" He turned the screen of his computer to face me. The title of the song a familiar one.
"Can You See My Heart" by Heize.
"Isn't his from a K Drama?" I asked him. To be honest, it was one of my favorite songs.
"Excuse me, Hotel Del Luna is an absolute masterpiece, and you can't say otherwise." I laughed at him, and thinking it over a for a bit, I decided with this song.
Don't be fooled. I wasn't won over so easily. I still didn't think I would ever get past the audition, the main reason why I agreed in the first place.
I would audition, be rejected, and this whole mess would be over.

A/N: If you know that song, let's be friends forever.
Anyway. This is short, but I wanted to end it like this so.....
whoops.
K bye.
