CHAPTER FORT-EIGHT: VIA LA APOCALYPE

Lara, Five, Mitch, Andy and the others all walked out of the elevator to see how beautiful the ballroom was made.

"Not sure this place is gonna be big enough" Klaus said "This better be an open bar" Allison said "Hey, come on. It's for Luther. Let's perk up" Lila said.

The sound of a bell ding was heard and the elevator door opened before Luther and Viktor stepped out.

"I don't know. Normally, my tush looks good" Luther said to Viktor "Ah, I see you've gone for the oversized button-down. Original" Allison said to Viktor as she had her elbow leaned against the bar next to the elevator "You do realize there no paparazzi here, right?" Viktor said "What? Dang it" Allison said sarcastic while Luther stepped between them.

"Listen to me, you two. This is my day, all right? So if you two can juts get along for a couple of hours, you can consider that my wedding gift" Luther said to them "Well, he started it, so--" Allison said "You literally just started it" Viktor said "Literally?" Allison asked.

"Bah, bah, bah. My day. Two hours. Do you think you can manage that?" Luther asked them "Yeah, fine" Viktor said "Thank you" Luther said.

Then a bell ding and Lila gasp as they saw Sloane walking out of the elevator.

She was wearing a white dress and was holding a bouquet of flowers.

Luther and Sloane was captivated by one another, desiring to spend the rest of their life together.

"Let's get this over with before I die of cringe" Ben said, ruining the moment.

Everyone took their place outside on the veranda on the balcony where the ceremony would be held.

Lila was Sloane's bridesmaid so she were standing behind Sloane.

"Dearly beloved, we're gathered here today for a good time, not a long time, so let's have a good time, huh?" Klaus said as he was the one who officiates the ceremony.

Lara and Five was sitting next to each other together with their sons at the back at the alter.

Klaus asked "I do" Luther said as he took Sloane's hand "Sloane, do you promise to love and cherish this big hairy bastard for the next 24 to 48 hours?" Klaus asked "I do" Sloane said "Give or take a day" Five said and Klaus shushed him which Mitch and Andy chuckled.

"I'm gonna try" Sloane said "Well, then..." Klaus said before he wiped his eyes "I'm sorry" he said.

"I pronounce you married as shit! Viva la apocalypse!" he shouted and Sloane kissed Luther.

The rest watched as the bridal couple were having their first dance as husband and wife.

Five turned his head to look at Lara who was looking at Luther and Sloane with a smile.

Luther and Sloane looked over at Klaus who pointed at them with a smile and the two smiled before they looked back at each other.

"This is officially worse than the apocalypse" Five said before he turned around to see a table with bottles of champagne "Ah, there we are" he said before he made his way to the table while Allison and Ben went over to one of the tables.

Diego and Lila grabbed each other's hands before walking out on the dance floor while Mitch and Andy walked out on the dance floor with their mom before they started dancing with her.

Five caught her hand when she dropped them to his chest and he stepped to her side as he spun her around so they were facing the dance floor.

Five lifted his left hand while you lifted your right hand causing your fingers to locked together while they had their forehead rested against each other, closing their eyes.

After the dance, Lara, Five, Andy and Mitch walked over to the buffet before taking some food on their plates and they walked back to a table.

Lara was about to grabbed a bottle with champagne but then Five beat her to it and he grabbed it "Hey" she said as he poured some champagne down in his glass "Jerk" she said "Champagne is not good for you when you are pregnant" he said before he handed her some fresh juice "Have some juice instead" he said "I hate you" she said "No you don't" he said before he took a huge sip.

"This taste so good" Mitch said with his mouth full "Have you forgotten how to eat nice?" Andy asked as he took a sip of his glass

But then Klaus approach their table "Cinco! Mi hermano, mi hermana, mi sobrinos" he said to them.

"Oh God" Five mumbled as Klaus sat down beside him "What do you want?" Five asked "Listen to me, Dad is upstairs right now with a plan to save everything. So what do you say that you and I pop up to the suite for a little chitchat?" Klaus asked.

"Are you like Frick and Frack with the old man now?" Five asked Klaus "This dad's different. He's a turtle. Hard on the outside, but all cute an wrinkly and occasionally delicious on the inside" Klaus said as Five took a sip of his champagne glass before he dropped his head with a sigh as he put down his glass on the table.

"Klaus?" he asked "Yeah?" Klaus asked "Old dogs like him never change. He has never had our best interests at heart" Five said and dropped his shot glass down his champagne glass. "So, my only plan for tonight is to spend it with my girlfriend and sons and to get fucked up beyond all recognition" he said and patted him on the shoulder which Mitch and Andy giggled.

"Sure" Klaus said and lifted up his glass before he clinked it against Five's "Have at it" he said "I shall" Five said and Klaus looked at Lara "Don't look at me I barely know the guy and also I don't trust him or like him" she said and Klaus nodded before he looked at the twins "NOO" Five and Lara snapped at Klaus "They are not getting near him" Lara said "Don't worry, we won't" Andy said while Mitch nodded because he had his mouth full.

Klaus nodded before he got up.

"Do you think that this Reginald guy has a plan?" Lara asked "I don't know, but it doesn't matter what I think. Beside even if he does have a plan, it won't work the way we want. It would work the way he want and it will only be good for him and not us" Five said and Lara nodded.

"Why? do you ask?" Five asked as he looked at Lara "Do you want to talk to him?" Five asked "God no" Lara said.

Then Chet approached them "Would you like a picture?" he asked and the four nodded.

The four sat closer to each other, Andy on Five's side and Mitch on Lara's side and the four smiled as Cheek took a picture.

In the second picture they made funny faces.

After taking some pictures, Chet them to Lara and Five who looked at them with a smile.

"I love those" Mitch said as the four was looking at the picture "I think we should keep one each" Lara said "I like that" the twins said "Me too" Five said and the four took a picture each.

Klaus looked at Diego and he was about to walk over to him, but then Lila push him back down on a chair "Klaus, don't even think about going over there and filling his empty head with bad ideas" Lila said as she sat down in front of him.

"Moi? How dare--" Klaus said but stopped when Lila put a fork on his chest "You may be unkillable, but I'll find a way to make sure that your time on this earthly plane is chock-full of pain and suffering. Got it?" she asked "Yeah. Sure" Klaus said "Great. Big smile" Lila said before she press his check against hers so Chet could take a picture.

Lila then kissed Klaus on the cheek "Bye" she said as she patted him on the cheek before walking away and Klaus then walked over to try and persuade Luther.

Viktor walked past the table where Ben and Allison was sitting before he walked over to sit on the same table Lara, Mitch, Andy and Five was sitting.

"How long before we can leave?" Ben asked "After the speeches" Allison answered "I don't think I can last that long. Oh, also, have you seen Dad?" Ben asked "Have a drink, Ben. Relax. For once in your pathetic life" Allison said and Ben chuckled.

"Mazel tov to the Mr. and Mrs." Klaus said to Luther and Sloane "Hey, brother" Luther said before the three lifted their glass and clinked them with each other "Cheers" Luther said as they cheered.

"Now, about Dad" Klaus said as he looked at Luther "No, no, no, no" Luther said "No" Klaus said "The answer's no, Klaus" Luther said "Baby, he's a changed man" Klaus said "No, the man is incapable of change" Luther said "Lulu, he's different. He helped me conquer my childhood fears" Klaus said "Mm-hmm" Luther said "We played catch together" Klaus said and Luther looked at him "Wait. You played catch with Dad?" he asked "Yeah, we call it bus-ball, but that's kind of our thing. I mean, you could find your own thing with him" Klaus said "Would you stop? Listen, you're being duped" Luther said to him "No, I'm not being duped" Klaus said "No, you are, you are. In fact, worse" Luther said "Come on!" Klaus said "You're being enabled by your own father" Luther said "Yeah, but I really thing if you just give him a little chance--" "Klaus!" Luther shouted and Klaus covered his ears with his hands as he looked like a little puppy that had being abandoned.

"Babe, it's fine. It's our wedding" Sloane said to Luther as Klaus started whimpered.

"You're right. I'm sorry. I'm sorry" Luther said "Yeah" Klaus said "I'm sorry" Luther said before he pulled Klaus into his chest "Okay, that's good" Klaus said "Listen, I'm just trying to enjoy my wedding, okay? And you should too" Luther said "Okay" Klaus said "Go have some salmon and a Jell-O cup" Luther said "That sounds nice" Klaus said "All right" Klaus said as he pulled away "All right. Well, screw it, I tried" Klaus said before getting up.

Then Mitch walked up on the stage before he hit his fork on a glass making it a clinking sound causing everyone to look at him.

"Hello everyone" he said into the mic "I would like to say something" he said before he started holding a speech.

"Even so I have only know you for a short time Luther, and we didn't had a good start, you are a good uncle and I'm happy that you found the one" Mitch said into the mic.

Andy, Lara and Five smiled proud as they watch Mitch standing up on the sate, holding a wedding toast.

"We are all a little weird, and life is a little weird. And when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall into mutually satisfying weirdness and call it love. Even so I'm only almost eight years old and don't really have or will get the chance about a love like that. I understand it. Is ashamed that we only have a day left, but we had all have a hell of a ride. And even it had being a sort time, it has being a good time. Some of us found each other" Mitch said as he glanced at his parents who looked at each other with a smile before Five and Andy looked at each other with a smile.

"Some of us found love alone the way" Mitch spoke into the mic which cause Luther and Sloane to look at each other while Lila and Diego looked at each other.

"We have lost friends and family. Except for this kugelblitz, our family had beating everything that the universe has thrown at us" Mitch said into the mic and the others smiled.

"Luther may all you and Sloane's ups and downs be only in the bedroom" Mitch said and the others giggled.

"The happiness of marriage is the highest happiness on earth. And this is what we've witnessed today" Mitch said before he turned to Luther and Sloane "Luther and Sloane may the last 48 hours we all have left be full of joy, happiness and love. But we are a family, and a family is forever. They are always there when you need them" Mitch said into the mic as he glanced at each other them before looking at his brother who gave him a thumb up.

"And then there is only one more thing to say" Mitch said before he turned to Luther and he lifted up his left hand "Aloha" he said with a smile as he gave Luther the finger causing everyone except Allison and Ben to laugh hysterically.

Everyone except Allison and Ben stood up and began clapping while whistling, cheering for Mitch's speech.

"Amazing speech Mitch"

"Yeaah Mitch"

"That's my little bro"

Then Mitch walked down from the stage before he walked over to this parents and brother who hugged him "That was amazing, buddy" Five said "We're so proud of you" Lara said "Good Job, little brother" Andy said "You are five minutes older than me" Mitch said "Actually one day, you were born five minutes later, on midnight which mean a new day" Andy said and Mitch stuck out his tongue.
