CHAPTER FIFTEEN: A DRUNK MISTAKE

Diego was laying on the couch almost unconscious while Lila was sitting by him, cauterizing a stab wound on his side.

Diego was gasping and screaming as Lila was burning the wound.

"Shh! Don't move. This thing is very finicky" Lila said "What happened?" Diego asked "I saved your stupid life" Lila answered "Were you following me?" Diego asked "Uh, hey, how about a little gratitude knife boy. If it wasn't for me, you'd be dead. That's twice now, by the way" Lila said.

Diego's eyes widened as he lifted his head before he looked down at himself to noticed that his clothes was missing and he only had a bed sheet to cover himself.

"Where are my clothes? The hell happened to my clothes?" he asked "I said, don't move" Lila said but Diego began to move and Lila dug the tool into his wound making a sizzling sound causing Diego to scream and groaning in pain before he laid back down, moaning from the pain. "There. That's better" Lila said.

 Five let out a sigh as him, Lara and the twins enter the room "Oh. He isn't dead" he said as he was looking at Diego while he had his hands in his pockets.

"Disappointed?" Lila asked as Five walked towards the coffee table in front of the couch "Oh, to see you? Always" he said with a fake smile as he grabbed a white rag before walking back to stand by the doorway, pressing the rag against the wound on the side of his neck.

"So much hostility in such a tiny package. Did you cut yourself shaving? I could teach you to shave like a big boy" Lila said "No, I just ran into an old family friend" he said as he took the rag off his neck before looking at it.

Then there was a soft snoring sound causing Five to turn around to see Elliott still tied to the chair, sleeping.

"You didn't untie him?" he asked as he looked back at Lila "Was I supposed to?" Lila asked and Five rolled his eyes "I will untie him" Mitch said before he turned around and walked over to Elliott.

Flashback start..

Will opened his eyes to see Lizzy laying next to him with her eyes closed which cause him to smile.

She was so beautiful, he could look at her forever. There was no reason to deny it or hide it, he has falling in love with Lizzy. He love her.

She opened her eyes and they smiled to each other "What a round, both times" she said "Yeah" he said as he had his head reasted on his left hand "That is the first time you let me be the domination one for a whole round" she said "What can I said, I just wanted to proof myself to you. Proof that I really care about you and that I have falling in love with you" he said and she smiled.

He then leaned closer before kissing her and she smiled between the kissed. In the begning the kiss was slow and gentle but then it started becoming faster and less gently.

He grabbed her before he rolled up so he was on top of her and she let out a moan as he enter her again.

He started kissing her neck while her legs were wrapping around his waist as they were both moving.

He then pulled away to look at her and they were both sweating as they were staring into each other's eyes while their bodies were still connected.

Will slid his finger down her cheek, this was the perfect time to tell her everything, who he really was and what his real names was. It was also the prefect moment to tell her that he love her 'cause he did.

"Lizzy" he said and she nodded "I..." but stop himself like he couldn't say the three words that was right on his tongue "I like you a lot. I'm in love with you" he said "I'm in love with you too" she said and he smiled before he leaned down and pressed his lips against hers before pressing his body more against hers, entering her completely.

But suddenly the sound of a buzzing was head and Will pulled out of Lara before he rolled over and grabbed his phone that was laying on the nightstand.

He answered the phone before he put it to his ear "Hello" he said before he waited for answer "Yeah, this is me" he said.

There was a few seconds of silence before Will spoke up again "Do it have to be me. I mean I'm---" he let out a sigh "Fine. I will be right there" he said before he ended the call.

"It was work" he said before he got up "Listen I have to go and will be back in two weeks" he said as he took off the condom before getting dressed "Two weeks?" she asked and he nodded "It's something really big and I'm apparently the only person fit to the job. But I am the best" he said "Can't you stay for a little while" she said "I'm sorry, but no. I wish I could, but I have a contract for that places and it will first expire in two years, so I have to" he said and she let out a sigh as she took her panties, bra and pants back on before she got up.

"So are you gonna meet other women?" she asked "Hey" he said as he put her face in his hands "Nope. It's only two weeks, and to make it up to you, when the two weeks have past, meet me in front of your bar where you work and then the two of us are going out for dinner and I will tell you everything about me. My real name, who I really am, what kind of job I am doing and there is something else I want to say to you, okay" he said and she nodded "I will tell you everything about my life too, even my real name and then there is something that I want to tell you too" she said and he smiled.

"I wanna know who you are, all of it. If we are gonna be together, we better get to know everything about each other" she said "And we will, when I return" he said and she smiled.

"See you in two weeks" he said before the two shared a kiss

"Be careful" she said as they pulled away "You too" he said before he turned around and left.

Lara let out a smile, this guy was the person she have waited for. She actually didn't know if they were a couple or not, but the way they have acted towards each other for the past weeks, make them look like a couple.

Will also let out a smile when he left the apartment, this woman was the person he have waited for, he just hope that she will still be with him when he tell her the truth. He could actually see a life with her. He could see her meets his siblings. He could see her be part of his family.

He just hope that she will still be with him when he have told her everything.

He couldn't wait till the two weeks have pass.

But both of them didn't know that they have created something in that moment, something that would changed both their life forever, something that might be able to bring them back to each other again later.

Flashback ends...

Five was sitting on the couch in Lara's apartment when Lara walked over to him with the first aid kit before sitting next next to him.

"Let me see" she said "Is not that bad" he said "Can you please don't be so stubborn and let me see. A chimpanzee can actually hurt you, even a baby. So let's me just clean it so it doesn't get infected" she said and he nodded before he moved his head so she could look at the cut.

She dip the rag in the water and started cleaning his cut on the neck, she had her head tilted so she could see his neck better.

Readjusting the rag in her hand, she started dabbing the blood around the cuts lightly before putting the rag on the small night table next to the bed.

She then grabbed a bottle of peroxide, before she flipped the cap open while Five just kept staring at her "If you keep staring at me like that, I will pour this peroxide down your damn eyes" she said before she began dipping the rag around the cuts causing him to flinch a bit "Sorry" she said "It's okay" he said as he kept staring at her.

"Please stop staring at me" she said "Why are you so nice to me?" he asked "'Cause you have being nice to my boys. They told me a lot about you. And they like you which is rare. And that is a start if you want to win over my good side" Lara said and he smiled.

"What a day" he said as she put away the first aid kit away before getting up.

"Do you have any alcohol?" he asked and she looked at him "I have some" she said "I need a drink" he said "Wait here" she said before she turned around and went into the kitchen.

She grabbed a glass and a bottle of alcohol before returning back to the living room, putting the glass and the bottle on the table "Careful, you are in your younger body so you will get drunk faster" she said before she turned around.

"Wait" he said and she turned around to see him blink away, appearing in the kitchen before he grabbed a glass and then blink back to the living room, putting the glass on the table.

"How about a drink?" he asked and she raise an brow "Come on. One glass wouldn't hurt" he said "Fine. One glass" she said before she walked over and sat down next to him.

But one glass turned into several and it didn't take long before the full bottle was empty and both Lara and Five was sitting next to each other, drunk.

They both paused from their giggling for a second before breaking out into it once again.

"How the hell are we already drunk?" Lara slurred "'Cause we are in our younger bodies" Five said "How did you convince me?" she asked "I don't know" he said before there was a pause "Wait. What did we just talked about?" she asked "I have no idea" he started as he shook his head before the two looked at each other.

"You know that you have beautiful eyes" Five said as he stared into brown eyes "You actually have beautiful eyes too. They remind me of someone" she said as she stared into Five's green eyes "Yours remind me also of someone I once knew" he said.

The two stared at each other for another short moment before Lara looked down.

"You know, after the twins' dad left. I have tried for years to find a guy that suit me and so the twins could have a dad, but until now, I have failed" she said "That guy that left you is an asshole. Who leave such as an amazing woman as you?" he asked drunk and she let out a drunk sigh.

"I hate all of this" she said "Do you hate me?" he asked and she looked at him "I did in the beginning but after getting to know you better and seeing another side of you. I like you Five Hargreeves. I like you a lot and I don't like most people" she said "I can work with that, beside I don't like most people either but you I like" he said and they smiled to each other.

He actually like Lara, she remind him a lot of Lizzy.

Lara actually like Five, he remind her a lot of Will.

Lara let out a smile as they looked at each other.

"Don't Lara...Stop looking at me like that or else---?" "Or else?" she asked "I'm barely restraining myself" he said "Restraining yourself from what?" she asked "Ripping my shirt off and attack you senseless" he rasped, looking straight into her eyes.

"Do it" she whispered without thinking twice.

He looked at her and she raise an eyebrow.

"Screw this" he said before he threw himself at her, as a starving beast at his prey, crashing his lips into hers, kissing her hungrily. He grabbed her hand before he blinked, pressing her against the wall.

He moved one of his hands from hers and put it in back of her back as he rubbed his fingers around her neck.

"Five" she breathed as he kept kissing her while she moaned against his lips.

At this point, he lost all control I'd been restraining, unleashing the savage beast inside him.

He held her hand tight above her head as he kept kissing her and moved more lower down her neck. Her whole body was trembling from his touch, from the wicked pleasure he'd giving her. He watched her fighting the growing as he gave her multipel hickeys on her neck.

"You're different Lara" he said into her ear "I bet you probably say that to every woman, Five" she replied out of breath from him kissing her neck.

"No. Only one" he pulled back to look at her as a deep growl escaped her throat.

He pulled her closer to him, begging for more. He grabbed her by her waist and lifted her, before kissing her, hard and demanding, their tongues touching. She slid her hands to the back to his head, running her long fingers nails through his hair, pulling him closer, deepening the kiss. He carried her to the her bedroom before tossing her onto the bed. She lay there with her lips swollen, ragged breath, seductively unbuttoning his shirt.

He took off his blazer he wore and threw it somewhere on the floor before walking over to her. She placed her trembling hand on his cheek and wrapped her arms around him.

He ran his tongue over her slightly parted lips, and she let out a quiet sight of pleasure. He tried wet, warm kisses down her neck and prominent collarbone, pulling her lip.

"I want you" she breathed "I want all of you, Five"

He was satisfied hearing that. He wanted her too, in the bad or good. He jumped on top of her, resting his body weight on his arms so that she was trapped underneath him.

"How do you want me, Lara?" he wanted to hear her saying that.

She stared into his eyes, her body trembling before she whispered "I want to feel you"

He leaned down to kiss her, adjusting himself to her level "I'm all yours" he growled.

Flashback start...

Those two weeks went slowly, and over that time, Lizzy have being feelings nausea and she have notice that she was sensitive towards smell and she have being waking up with nausea the last week.

So she was now in her bathroom walking back and forth in front of the sink where a pregnancy test was laying.

"It's time" she said before she took a deep breath as she grabbed the test before she flip it over and her eyes widened "Holy shit" she said. 

She took a quick glance at the two other pregnancy test that was laying by the sink and they all showed the same.

Positive.

Lizzy was in shock, but she was also happy, a part of her always wanted kids, but have giving up 'cause she didn't find the one, but now she have, she just hope that everything will turn out okay.

"I better get ready" she said before she started getting ready for her meeting with Will in 30 minutes.

Flashback ends...

Both Lara and Five woke up with a grunt and a headache, they sat up, rubbing their eyes before they heard each other's grunt which cause them to looked at each other and their eyes widened at the sight.

Both their hair was messy and they were laying in bed with the sheet over them.

"What the fuck" they both said as he pulled their sheet closer to their body.

"Did we....?" Five asked before they both looked at their own body under the sheet.

"Yeah"

"Shit"

The two turned around so their backs were facing each other and they grabbed their clothes before they starting taking them on.

"Just so you know, this doesn't change anything" Lara said as she put her shirt back on "This never happen, okay" she said "I think it was fun, let's do that again someday" Five said and she raised a brow at him "I'm kidding. This was just a drunk mistake" Five said as he put his tie under his blazer "A big mistake. So we can both agree that this never happen, okay" she said.

"It's funny that I actually remember it, every second" he said "So do I. But it was mistake, we were both drunk" she said "But since we both remember it, we were not that drunk. Beside I enjoy it and so did you. I could see it on your face and the way you moved" he said as he looked at her.

"Let's just go back to that guy's apartment before anyone start to believe in thing" Lara said as she walked out of the bedroom "Whatever you want Darling" he said as he follow after her with a smile.

Flashback start...

Lizzy was walking down the street towards the bar she work. She was suppose to meet with Will 10 mintues ago. She hope that he have not left and he was waiting.

She have planning him in telling him about her being pregnant with his child today, but she just didn't know how she will bring it up. And she was also wondering how he would react? They are not even a couple, so will he leave her or not. She was scared that he would see this as a sort of force to be with her. But she is gonna tell him, about keeping it, she don't know, that depends on his reacting, she was planning in keeping it and she was not gonna force him into anything. But he had the right to know since they were gonna start becoming a couple and he was the father. 

She took a deep breath as she was wondering how all of this is gonna plan out.

Then suddenly a huge explosion went off not far from Lizzy, right by the bar she work.

The huge blast and explosion send Lizzy flying backwards making her let out a scream before everything went black.

---

Will was 10 minutes late, so he was walking fast down the street, fixing his hair and collar with his free hand as he was holding a bouquet of flowers, he have brought on the way which was why he was late.

While walking down the street, he kept repeating the things he wanted to tell Lizzy. How he was gonna say it to her. He decided that he wanted to tell her the truth about him first, his past, his childhood, his real name, who he was and what kind of job he was working for. And what his plan was and that he was actually gonna ask her to come with him, hoping that him taking her with him wouldn't effect the timeline.

But as he came closer to the place, he could hear sirens and he saw that the building where Lizzy work was in ruins, police, ambulance and fire trucks was holding by the building.

"No" Will said as he rushed over to the place but was stopped by a police man that was standing by some yellow line "Stop right here sir" the cop said "What happen?" Will asked as his eyes was scanning the screen, looking for Lizzy.

"An explosion went off at a bar" the cop said "Is there anyone that got hurt?" Will asked "Many victimes have killed" the cop said "Who?" Will asked "It was a huge one, everyone inside or near that place got killed" the cop said and Will's eyes widened before he drop the bouquet.

"Who got killed. I'm was suppose to meet someone here and I want to know if she is one of the victimes" he said "You will find it out in the news" the cop said.

Will took a few steps back before he pulled up his phone and tried to call Lizzy but the call kept getting disconnected.  

"Come" he said as he tried again but the call kept getting disconnected.

Will then went back to Lizzy's apartment but nothing. He was getting more nervous and scared as he kept trying to find Lizzy while calling and texting her, but without luck.

After some days, the victimes of the explosion was revealed and Will was watching it on his phone.

His whole world broke down when he saw the picture of Lizzy as one of the victimes. The report say that she was one of the people that didn't had any ID on them and there was not much left of them.

His heart broke, and he felt like he couldn't breathing, his whole body was shaking. 

"NOOO" he cried out before he threw his phone away, causing it to hit the wall and breaking into pieces.

While crying, Will felled down on his knees.

He have lost the only woman he have ever loved, just when he thought he have found someone, she was taking away from him.

Even so he didn't knew her that well, he loved her. Their simple hook-ups have turned into feelings and loving and just when he was ready to something serious. Just when he thought he could be happy, it was taking away from him.

Maybe he don't deserve to find love or happiness. Maybe he is destined to be alone forever.

Flashback ends...

When Lara and Five return to Elliott's apartment they saw Mitch and Andy in the living room "Where have you two been?" Andy asked as the twins looked at the two "None of your bushiness little man" Five said "Five needed a drink so he invited me on a bar" Lara said and the brothers glanced at each other "And no. Nothing happen, it was just a drink. So stop picture things" Lara said.

Then suddenly an alarm started buzzing "Hey, we got one!" Elliott shouted as he dropped his spoon in his bowl with oatmeal.

"Hey, one of those machines you asked for is going crazy" Elliott said as Five rushed over to Elliott.

"Which one?" Five asked as the three stopped behind Elliott "It's the, uh, atmospheric radar" Elliott answered as he was looking at the green radar screen in front of them.

"Good" Five said "I don't get it. What are you tracking?" Elliott asked and turned to look at the two of you "A hurricane? A storm front?" he asked "Sound waves" Five answered "Sound waves" Elliott said "I need to go" Five said "We are going with you" Andy and Mitch said when they got up and Five looked at Lara "I'm going to work, but I will quit today" Lara said.

"Come let's go" Five said "Wow. What--" Elliott said but the three have already blink away.

"Where are you going?" Elliott called out but they were already gone.

---

Mitch, Andy and Five appeared by a cornfield before they began walking forward while looking around as they walked past a part of the field that was a circle and the corn was knock down.

"Watch where you step" he said as they walked farther into the cornfield, they moved the cornstalks out of the way so they could get through.

"What were you and our mom doing?" Mitch asked "None of your kids' business, we were just talking" Five said "Well, we notice your guys' faces when we saw you. It must have being a hell of a talk" Andy said "We just went for a drink" Five said. 

"Did you two had intercourse?" Andy asked which cause Five to almost tripped when they came into a small open area and the twins let out a laugh which cause Five to glanced at them before he let out a softly scoffs "Yeah, yeah, laugh it up" he muttered "Don't be a dumbass then and watch where you are stepping" Mitch said "Just like you said to us, don't forget to do it yourself" Andy said with a chuckled "Very funny" Five said sarcastically.

"So did you?" Andy asked "No, we didn't. And you two are too young for that talk" Five said "We are old enough. Learn it in school when we were 13" Mitch said "Please tell us you two didn't?" Andy asked "'Cause that is gross" Mitch said "We didn't. Now focus on this" Five said as the three continue walking forward. 

"Isn't that Vanya?" Mitch asked as he pointed ahead  and the three spotted Vanya sitting on the ground, hiding in between all the cornstalks, so they walked closer to her before they moved some of the cornstalks out of the way.

"Hi, Vanya" Five said with a smile "Who are you three?" Vanya asked as she slowly got up "She don't know who we are. That is weird" Andy said.

"I'm your brother" Five answered "I have a brother?" Vanya asked before she looked at the twins "Who are you two? Are you my brothers too?" she asked "Nope" the twins said as they shook their head "They are with me" Five said "With you? Like they are your sons?" Vanya asked "NO" the three said "Why does everything think we are related to him" Andy said as he pointed his thumb on Five "Well, you two look a bit like him" Vanya said as she pointed on Five and the twins glance at Five who was glancing at them.

"I don't see any resembles, other than Mitch's hair color, but many have the same hair color" Five said "We don't see any resembles either" the twins said.

"Look, you can either stay here and wait for the IKEA mafia to come back to kill you, or you can come with us" Five said before he turned around "I will choose the second one" Andy said before him and Mitch also turned around.

"Wh...Why are they trying to kill me?" Vanya asked as she followed the three through the cornfield.

"'Cause you're not supposed to be here, Vanya" Five said as he pushed past some of the cornstalks "In Dallas?" Vanya asked, confused "No. Here, in 1963" Five said.

The four walked out to a large opening area in the middle of the cornfield with corn flattened.

Mitch, Andy and Five glanced at each other before stopping and turned around when they got few feet into the large circle.

"Holy shit" Vanya said with her eyes widened "Yeah, pretty wild, right?" Five said, looking back on the area before he turned to Vanya "It's good to see your powers are still intact. Come on" Five said.

The four arrived at the nearby diner and they sat down by the counter.

The waitress gave coffee to Five while Vanya, Andy and Mitch just got water. 

Five looked up from the mug as the waitress stopped pouring the coffee from the pot "Leave the pot, dear" Five said to her and she put the pot in front of Five next to his mug "Thank you" he said as he grabbed the pot before he poured more coffee into his mug.

The waitress turned around "Lippy little shit" she said as she walked away while Five put the pot down on the counter in front of him.

"You three gonna tell me what the hell's going on?" Vanya asked as she was looking at the three "It's best that Five tells you, he have more experience" Mitch said and Vanya looked at Five.

"When you were a baby, you were bought by an eccentric billionaire. He raised you in an elite academy with six other siblings with extraordinary powers. But in the year 2019, in order to avoid the apocalypse, we jumped into a vortex and ended up being scattered throughout the timeline in Dallas, Texas" Five explain "Were you two one of them?" Vanya asked the twins and they shook their head "No. My brother and I first met Five later. Beside we were born 2006 and not 1989" Andy said as Five turned his head to look at Vanya.

"Any questions?" he asked "What do you mean 'the apocalypse'?" Vanya asked shakily "I mean the end of the world as we know it" Five answered "Yeah, but how?" Vanya asked "It means that everyone will die" Andy said "Everything is destroyed and there's not a single life left on the planet" Mitch said "But how and why does it happen?" Vanya asked "You really don't remember anything?" Five asked "No, nothing before a month ago" Vanya said "Then what do you remember?" Five asked.

"I landed in, like a...back alley. Got hit by a car. My head was ringing like crazy. I had no idea how I got there, where I came from" Vanya said and the twins looked at her with a sympathetic look.

"What causes the apocalypse?" Vanya asked as she looked at Five.

Five looked at Vanya before letting out a sigh. "Asteroid impact" Andy suddenly started "The big kaboom ends everything. Just like the one that got the dinosaurs except way worse" Five said as he picked up his mug "Bad news is, it followed us here" he said and Vanya looked at him "What do you mean 'followed us'?" she asked and Five looked at her "When we left, we took the bomb with us. So now there's another apocalypse" Andy said "Eight days from now, the world ends in a nuclear doomsday. It's a different disease, but...same result" Five said.

"That can't be right" Vanya said, tilting her head "I saw it. With my own eyes" Five said before he let out a sigh "You were there. Mitch and Andy was there. We all were" he said "Shit" Vanya said, shaking her head "I need to make a phone call" she said before getting up her seat, walking over to a phone that was on the wall.

"Did we just lie to Vanya?" Mitch asked and Five and Andy nodded "Yeah" they said "Why, isn't that what pissed her off the first time?" Mitch asked "Sometimes you have to lie, to protect the people you care about" Andy said "Beside it's for the best" Five said before he walked over to Vanya and ended the call.

"What the hell?" Vanya asked looking at the three "We don't have time for this" Five said "That's my friend and you just hung up on" Vanya said.

"Listen to me" Five said, grabbing Vanya's shoulders "Those people from the field are coming after us. They are never going to stop. They will come and you will bring everyone near you in danger. Do you understand me?" Five asked softly "We need to stick together, find the others and figure out how to stop doomsday. Whoever this person is, they can't be more important than the end of the world" he said before he removed his hands from her shoulders "We need to go" he said and Vanya place the phone back with a sigh.

Mitch, Andy, Five and Vanya arrived at a fight club and they spotted Luther inside a boxing ring fighting against another huge guy.

The crowd was cheering and shouting as the three walked through the crowd before they moved closer to the ring so they could see better.

"Isn't he suppose to be strong?" Andy asked as they saw Luther getting beating up by the other huge guy.

"Look, he's pummeling him" Vanya said "Hit me again" Luther said to the guy and the guy punched him across the face.

"I thought Luther had super strength, why is he getting his ass beathing by this guy?" Mitch asked.

"Again! Hit me!" Luther said "Luther, are you crazy? Just hit him!" Five shouted "Come on, Luther!" Jack shouted "Hit me. I wanna feel pain. I wanna feel all the pain. Give me everything you've got!" Luther said and the guy threw a punch at him so hard that he flew off the ground causing the crowd to be quiet and Vanya's and Five's eyes widened in shock.

"That's must have hurt" Andy said as Luther landed on his back and the crowd started shouting again before angry shouts was heard.

"Shit. Luther" Five said "Why didn't he fight back?" Vanya asked.

Lila and Diego was laying in bed after they have slept together.

Lila slowly sat up from the bed before taking her clothes on and left slowly, so she didn't woke up Diego.

She walked out of the apartment and into a pet shop. She walked over to some puppies "Hi, little guy" she said to a puppy.

She then walked over to a small fish tank before she dipped her hand down, grabbing a small treasure chest before taking it out.

She opened it to found a golden room key with the number 217 on.

She took the key before walking out of the pet shop.

Lila arrived at the motel before she used the key, opening a door before she enter "I'm late, I know" she said as she enter, looking around.

"All kind of crazy going on outside" she said and she grabbed an envelope before she flopped down on the bed "Hey, can I order room service? I'm starving" she said.

The Handler exited the bathroom as she was brushing her hair "Of course. You deserve it" she said and Lila sat up before she smiled "Thanks, Mum" she said before she got up, walking over to The Handler and kissed her on the cheek.
