Five days later, On Wednesday.

Tenma's POV:

I was running on my way to school by myself because Charisk said she and her sister won't be walking to school with me cause they had something to do first, I understood. It's been five days since the first time I trained to fight, of course, I kept it a secret as I promised Charisk. Every day after we finished things or after school is over and soccer practice, we would go to the riverbank and train. I eventually am getting better at fighting and I now know how to use magic, but I still couldn't beat Charisk. I still haven't seen Alisa's battle form yet or know what her powers are. No one was around which got me wondering, my guess was because they are already in their clubs.

Suddenly, while I was running to the clubroom, two men wearing black hoods blocked my way, I stopped at my tracks.

" Um, excuse me, sir, can you please move out of the way, I'm trying to go somewhere," I asked politely. But instead of moving, they removed their hoods revealing there looks, they wore black and dark grey armor with a familiar symbol. I suddenly remembered what Charisk told me three days ago.

Flashback:

" Tenma, If you see people with black and dark grey armor with this symbol on their armor, run. But if they try to fight or get you, you can fight back or just run," she said as she pulled out a picture of the mark. It showed two dark swords forming crossways and black wings behind.

" Why?" I asked.

" Because these guys are the minions of Cleo, so be careful and be aware," she replied as she made the picture disappear.

" OK, I will," I responded.

End of flashback.

I immediately froze with shock for a bit, I then stepped backward.

" Heh, it seems like you recognize who we are, I bet your friend Charisk told you," the first on said, he then smirked.

" Well then, time to finish our mission," the second said, he then created dark in on of his palms and tried to grab me, but I dodged and ran past the two of them to go to the clubroom.

I then suddenly heard a metal clanking sound from behind me, I turned around for a bit but only to get caught by a metal chain. The first guy was the one holding it, he then tried to pull me towards them but I tried to back away at the same time.

" Your resisting huh, well then, I have a 'shocking' surprise for you," he said as he brings out his other hand and electricity started to form from his palm, he then touched the chain that tied me as I saw electricity going towards me from the chain. I closed my eyes, then all of a sudden.

*Bang*

I fell backward and noticed I was free from the chain, I opened my eyes and saw a girl with pigtails and wearing black and light grey armor. She looked familiar, I then realized who it is.

" Alisa?" I asked in shock.

She turns to me and said, " sorry it took me long, are you alright?"

" I'm alright, thanks," I replied as I got up from my position.

" Tenma, go to the clubroom and tell them to meet me and my sister at the soccer arena. I'll hold these guys off," she said as she turns back to the two people and brings out blades from her gloves.

"Are you gonna be alright," I asked feeling worried. She chuckled slightly and said,

" Don't worry, I fought these guys a lot, now go," Alisa responded.

" OK, be careful," I said, she nods in response and I started running still feeling worried.

Alisa's POV:

After Tenma left I smirked.

" Well then, show me what you got," I said as I went to a battle position.

The two minions charged at me with their weapons, the first one tried to stab me, I dodged and went behind him. I then stab him, after I did so he turned into black smoke. The second one tried to sneak attack, he was about to slice in half me but little did he know, I noticed him. So I roundhouse kicked and sent him flying to the right side. I then created a black orb with my magic, aimed at him and fired a laser. After he got hit with the laser, he turned into black smoke. I know it is not over yet, I looked behind me and saw more minions charging towards me with different weapons like swords, scythes or knives. I smirked and made a second sword.

" No holding back," I said in my thoughts.

I charged at them and jumped up, I then transformed into my battle form 2. I made the blades in my gloves disappear and created two swords. I raised my swords and transferred some magic to my swords as it started glowing black and gray aura around it. I slashed most of the minions while sending a shock wave in the process. One minion with a sword came in front of me and tried to slice me, but I blocked it with the sword on my right and used the left one to stab the minion, it then turned into black smoke. I then made the sword on my left disappear I then raised my hand and created black and gray bullets in the air. I then aimed it at the minions.

*Stop the music*

After the smoke cleared, I couldn't see any more minions. I was about to run to the soccer arena to meet up with the rest, until.

" Hehehe, well done Alisa, but I won't let you go that easily," a familiar voice said. That is when I realized, it was Cleo.

" Cleo, where are you?!" I shouted while looking around, but I couldn't see her. She didn't reply.

I looked behind me only to get kicked in the stomach by her. It sent me backward, so I used my sword to stab the ground to stop myself from going any further. I looked in front of me and saw Cleo standing there.

" I have no time for this," she said and she vanished.

I pulled my sword out of the ground and looked around until I heard her say,

" Goodnight Alisa."

Before I looked behind me, I felt her hit me in the jaw with her hand. My vision then went black.

Minutes ago before Alisa started to fight.

Shindou's POV:

We were waiting for Tenma, Charisk, and Alisa to arrive. We were all getting worried about them since we still remember what happened the last Friday.

" What's taking them so long?" Kariya asked.

" I don't know, but let's be patient, maybe they're just late," Kirino said.

Suddenly we heard footsteps getting close to the door, we all looked. Suddenly Tenma comes in like he was in a hurry he was also huffing hard.

" Tenma, what's are you okay?" Aoi asked.

" *Huff* guys we need to go to the soccer arena *huff* now," he replied in his breath.

" Why, what's wrong?" I asked. But before he replied we heard a massive explosion outside.

" What was that?!" Kurama asked.

" No time to explain, we have to go," Tenma replied. We all agreed and went to go to the soccer arena.

While we were running, a person with black and dark grey armor appeared in front of us.

" You're not going anywhere," he said as he tried to grab Tenma.

" Look out!" Shinsuke shouted.

Suddenly, a gunshot was heard, the guy that tried to grab Tenma turned to black smoke. We were all confused about what just happened, so we looked at the right and saw Charisk holding a yellow gun, her appearance looked different.

" Are you guys alright?" she asked as she walked towards us and made the gun disappear.

" Yeah, we're alright, thanks," Endou replied. She responded with a smile

" Thanks, Charisk," Tenma said.

" You're welcome, now let's go to the arena and meet up with Alisa at the auditorium," she responded. We all followed her.

When we arrived at the auditorium, we saw no one there.

" Where is Alisa, I thought you said she would be here would be here," Akane said.

" Hmm, that's strange she's supposed to be here," Charisk replied as she looked around. Suddenly we heard a girl's voice from the field, she said.

" Well, look who showed up."

We all looked down at the field and saw a girl with black wings, black and dark grey armor, and a sword in hand.

"Cleo, where is Alisa, what did you do to her?!" Charisk yelled. The girl named, Cleo, smirked.

"Here, I'll show you," she said as she snapped. Suddenly, Alisa appeared in here normal form but she was in a cage and unconscious.

"Release her, now Cleo!" I shouted.

"Sorry, no can do," she replied as she shakes her head, "unless your friend Charisk beats me in a fight," she added as she pointed at Charisk.

"Bring it on," Charisk said.

"Be careful Charisk," Tenma said.

Charisk then jumps off the auditorium which surprised us that she was not hurt but for some reason, Tenma wasn't. I hope she is gonna be alright.

Charisk's POV:

I jumped off the auditorium and walked towards Cleo still keeping my distance. I then stop in my tracks.

"Ready to die, Charisk?" Cleo said as she brings up her sword to her face.

"Heh, that won't happen," I said as I summon my sword.

I dashed towards her and tried to slash her, but she blocked it with her sword. I made a yellow ball on my other hand and aimed it at Cleo very quickly and shot a big laser. She dodged it, which I expected. I quickly looked behind me and saw black and dark grey bullets in the air. She then aimed the bullets at me and fired. I quickly transformed into Tech mode and activated my mechanical wings. I dodge the bullets while flying towards her. I created an arm cannon on my right arm and aimed it at Cleo, I then shot blue and gray bullets from it. She dodges them, so while she is doing it, I charged up my arm cannon and shot a large laser. I hit her, and a lot of smoke covered the view. I expected that it isn't over. After I landed on the ground and made my arm cannon disappear, I suddenly felt a weird aura behind me. I swiftly looked behind me and saw Cleo was now in front of me. her hand was in a fist covered with a dark aura surrounding it. I didn't have time to block so I got punched in the chest and got sent far back. I created my sword and stabbed the ground to stop myself. I looked at Cleo and saw her smiling.

"Why is she smiling?" I said in my thoughts, I then realized what's going on.

When I looked behind me, I saw the real Cleo charging towards me with a sword in hand. The one I was facing was just a clone. She was about to slash me. I backed away but I got a slight cut on my cheek, it wasn't deep though. I looked to my left and saw the clone. It kicked me to the side and caused me to fly sideways. I fell on my right side and felt a pain in my arm. I looked and saw some blood. I also felt a liquid on my left cheek, which was also blood. I stood back up and faced the two.

"I injured your good arm, so good luck using your sword," Cleo said and I smirked.

"Heh, little do you know," I replied while passing my sword to my left hand, "I'm ambidextrous."

I transformed into my Bad Time Mode and teleported behind the clone. I quickly slashed it and it turned into black smoke. I then teleported in mid-air and quickly summoned a gaster blaster a few inches below me. I landed on top of it and summoned a lot of gaster blasters on my left and right, I then aimed it at Cleo and fired. She dodged some of it, so I used my soul manipulation power and moved Cleo up in the air. She then got hit by five gaster blasters. I used soul manipulation and banged her to the ground. She was still alive. She teleported to me and tried to slice me, this time I blocked. I saw her form a black ball and aimed it at me. I quickly teleported out and she destroyed my gaster blaster. She appeared before me and did an uppercut. I got sent flying. I then felt her punching me very fast. I was not able to block. When I opened my eyes, I saw her and then she kicked me. I crashed to the ground, which created a small crater.

*Stop the music*

I felt blood trickle down my forehead and a lot of pain in my body. I tried to get but I fell to the ground. I transformed back to my Battle Form 1 and used my sword to keep me from falling. I still had a hard time to get up. I saw her sword start to glow black and dark gray aura around it. She then raised it.

"Goodbye... Charisk," she said as she smiled and slashed the sword which it made a sword beam. I closed my eyes and thinking this might be where I die.

Suddenly I heard someone shout my name, I then heard the blast hit something, I also didn't feel the pain that much than the one I'm experiencing right now. I opened my eyes and saw Tenma was in front of me and wearing his battle form. I looked around and noticed that he created a forcefield, it had smoke around it, it wasn't long before the smoke disappeared as well as the forcefield. I wondered how he got here so fast. He then turns to me with a worried expression.

"Are you alright?" He asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I said, I was still crouching though.

Tenma's POV:

"How did you get here so fast?" Charisk asked.

"Well," I said.

Flashback, in the auditorium,

I saw Charisk beaten up and Cleo's sword was glowing a black and dark gray aura around it. She was about to slash.

"Charisk!!" I screamed as I ran, I was about to jump off the auditorium and transform into my battle form.

"Tenma, wait!!!" Aoi screamed and tried to catch up to me.

I transformed into my battle form and jumped off. I then used my powers to teleport in front of Charisk and created a force field. I closed my eyes and heard the sword beam the force field.

End of flashback.

"Thanks, Tenma, " Charisk said and smiled.

"You saved me, so you could say this is my repay for you, " I replied.

"Well look who we have here, " I heard Cleo say, so I looked back at her.

"So you must be Cleo," I said.

"That's right, " she said, "I was expecting you."

"What do you mean by that?" I said with confusion.

"Well, when I heard that Charisk and Alisa rescued you, I knew that your memories won't be erased, but that Charisk was gonna train you, " Cleo said as she smirked. I was shocked. She then continued.

"Be thankful that I told the scientists of Lab X to give you powers, cause without them your friend will have died, " Cleo added.

She was right, if I didn't have powers, Charisk would be dead. But I knew that she gave me these because she was gonna use me.

"Now, move out of the way and let me kill Charisk, or you will regret it, " Cleo said as she made a second sword.

I stood in place and replied, "No, I won't let you."

Cleo then chuckled and said, "you have a death wish or something?"

"Tenma, go or you will die!" I heard Charisk said.

"This is not only your fight, " I replied as I created a sword on my right hand. "It's our fight!" I added as I created a sphere on my left palm.

Cleo laughed maniacally and said, "then this is where you dig your grave."

I got ready to fight Cleo. I may not be as strong as Charisk and Cleo, but I have to protect my friends and anyone I cared about.
