Saturday morning,

Tenma's POV:

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock and sat up. I then turned it off, I suddenly remembered what Charisk requested me yesterday. I immediately went to the bathroom and took a bath, I then wore a white T-shirt under my Raimon tracksuit and my Raimon jogging pants. I went to the dining room and saw a bowl of ramen noodles with a letter beside it, I pick up the letter and read it.

"Hey Tenma, here some breakfast I cooked for you, I'll be waiting at the riverbank.
- Charisk "

I smiled at the message that she wrote.

"Thank you Charisk," I said in my thoughts.

After I finished breakfast, I put on my shoes and went to the front lawn, there I saw Aki-nee sweeping. She then notices me and said,

" Oh, good morning Tenma,"

" Good morning Aki-nee, I'm just gonna walk Sasuke for a bit," I replied with a smile.

"Charisk already walked Sasuke earlier. So you don't have too," Aki-nee stated.

"Oh OK," I responded, " Well I should thank her when I arrive," I said in my thoughts.

"Aki-nee, did Charisk mention something about going to the riverbank?" I asked to make sure.

"Well, she did tell me that she will be going to the riverbank for a bit," she responded,

"OK, thanks for telling me Aki-nee, I'm gonna go now bye," I said as I ran off,

"Ok, be careful," she shouted.

As I ran I was wondering why she wanted me to meet her there. I arrived at the riverbank and saw her sitting on the bench. She then turned around and waved at me.

"Hey Tenma, I see you came," she said with a smile. I ran towards her and asked,

"Yeah, why do you want me to come here?"

"I'll tell you after I place this down," she replied while pulling out a small device from her pocket.

"This will make sure no one sees us. It will be in camouflage on the outside," she added. I was confused by what she said.

She then walks to the center of the riverbank and places the device on the ground, she then presses a button and a forcefield appeared covering the riverbank. I was amazed and confused at the same time. She then turns to me and said,

"I have something I need to tell you, It is something that might confuse you at first, but you will know what it means. So, do you wanna know?"

I nodded in agreement. She then closed her eyes and sighed, she opens them again and responded,

"Very well, but promise that you will not tell anyone about it,"

"Ok, I promise," I responded

"The truth is I and Alisa, are not from this universe, not from the past nor the future, but like a different world," she said. I was shocked by what she said, she then continues.

"We mostly call it dimensions or lands, in other words, are different universes. We use portals to go to these dimensions," she says as she brings out another device from her pocket and presses a button. Suddenly the inside on the forcefield showed images of dimensions I haven't seen before.

"There are lots of them, this world and from where I came from are examples of different universes," she added as she walked towards one of the images. I went behind her and saw what it looks like, in the picture it shows a city with people that have abilities. It reminded me of the SSC a little bit.

"Everyone in my land has abilities or powers. That is also where the school I study in, I also have a team in that world, we fight to protect and fix timelines of different dimensions," she said as a yellow and white aura covers her.

After it disappears, I noticed that her appearance changed. She was now wearing yellow and white armor. She then presses the button and all the images disappeared.

"I and Alisa are not the only ones in this world that are not from here, someone also went here along with me," she said while looking down at the ground.

"Who?" I asked worriedly.

"An enemy of my team and I from dark land, Cleo, her power is manipulation of darkness and clones. She invaded our base with her minions, me and Alisa fought her by ourselves while the rest fend of the minions. In the battle against Cleo, I opened a portal and pushed her in along with me. But, Alisa also decided to jump into the portal as well," she replied as she smiled at the last sentence.

"By the way, do you know Lab X?" Charisk then asked while turning to me.

"Yeah, is it also another dimension?" I replied.

"Yup, but they built another lab here, far away," she responded " Did they do anything to you while you are in the Lab?" she then asked.

"Well, I remember someone injected me with a weird white liquid, I'm not sure what it is though," I responded.

"Hm, I guess that means you have powers now," she stated, I was surprised.

"What do you mean?" I asked in confusion.

"Lab X is a laboratory consisting of creatures and experiments, like injecting them with a liquid called "Power Serum". For example, if a normal person gets injected by this, they will get abilities or powers, it is sometimes based on what the liquid looks like or sometimes just by color. for example, if it was red, it could be a Fire Power Serum," she added. I was speechless.

"That's why I wanted you to meet me here, cause I will teach you how to use your powers and fight," she said.

"I will give you a choice, you can decline so you don't need to fight or you will agree to train and battle enemies. You will still have a normal life if you pick either of them. I won't force you, no pressure," she added as she lends me her hand.

I was hesitant, but I know everyone I cared about will be in danger. I made up my decision, I will fight to protect. I shook her hand and said

"I accept, I will train and fight to protect others."

"Well, then, I guess no turning back right," she said with a smile. We then let go of each other hand.

"When do we start?" I asked.

"Right now," she replies as she changed her appearance, it was now color blue and red.

Suddenly, in a blink of an eye, she disappeared. I looked behind me and I saw her again, standing in the center of the riverbank.

"First is transformation. It's like what you just saw me did. To do it, you need to focus your energy and think about what you want to look like, but sometimes your battle form will be a little of the same or not at all. Let's just take a chance," she said.

"Hai!" I replied, I then closed my eyes and focused.

"Now, try to imagine you in that form and picture yourself using your powers," she added. I nodded in response.

I did as she said, suddenly, I felt a wind aura surrounding me. After a few seconds, it was gone.

"Did it work?" I asked as I open my eyes and saw her smirking, I was confused at first.

"You may wanna check?" she replied.

I looked at my hand and saw that I had white and gray sleeves and gray gloves. I was surprised, I then looked around myself and noticed I wasn't wearing my Raimon tracksuit, instead, I was wearing my "battle form".

"Cool," I said in my thoughts. I then looked back at Charisk.

"Not bad for your first try. Next is weapons, it's the same as transformation except you don't need to close your eyes," she said as she puts her hand outwards. A mixture of white, yellow, and gray aura appeared between her palm as it formed a sword-like structure. Suddenly a sword appeared as she grabbed the handle.

"It's your turn now," she added.

"Ok," I replied and I tried to do what she just did. After a few seconds, white and gray aura suddenly appeared between my palm as it also formed a sword-like structure. A sword then appeared and I grabbed the handle. I was happy I was able to create a weapon.

" You learn very quickly I must say," she said with a smile as she puts her sword away. "Let's see how good you are at dodging and blocking, it won't hurt that much, it's just like an ant bite," she continued.

"Wait, what!?" I said. But before I could ask, she raised her hand and suddenly blue and red bullets appeared.

I was caught off guard, she then brought down her hand and suddenly the bullets charged towards me. I managed to dodge some but also sometimes got hit. She was right, it didn't hurt that much. She then suddenly shouted,

"Try to use your sword to block, don't always rely on dodging"

"Hai!" I replied and got ready.

As a bullet went towards me, I used my sword and managed to hit the bullet. I knew what I have to do. As more and more bullets came, I dodged and blocked the bullets, still getting hit sometimes. Suddenly the bullets stopped.

"Good job, for this next part. Put away your sword first cause I don't wanna get sliced,"

I heard Charisk's voice, I then realized that a lot of smoke appeared, I couldn't see her. I did as she said and made my sword disappear.

"You can dodge bullets, but let's see if you can do the same for combat, I won't hit too hard," she added.

"Ok," I replied

"Well then, after this let's go back and eat lunch," she said.

I was ready, suddenly I felt someone kick me from behind, It was unexpected that I fell forwards. I now knew what she meant. I stood up and tried to look for her but I couldn't cause of the smoke. I was off guard which caused me to get punched in the chest, it sent me backward.

"Are you OK?" Charisk asked.

"I'm fine, it's alright if you hurt me, don't worry. After all, I did agree to train, so bring it on," I responded.

"OK, now focus and try to figure out where I might come out to attack," she said

I started to focus and tried to figure out where she will attack. I then heard footsteps behind me.

"There you are," I said in my thoughts.

I dodge the punch and saw her smirk at me, I then grabbed her arm and managed to toss her in the air. I was surprised that my physical strength improved. After I toss her, I saw her do a front flip and landed on her feet.

"Are you alright Charisk?" I asked feeling worried that I did it too far.

"I'm alright, I train a lot with my teammates so I'm used to it, what you did was impressive though. That's it for today, I'll teach you more tomorrow," she smiled at me which I smiled back feeling relieved I didn't hurt her.

She walked to the device placed on the ground and pressed a button as she was doing so I transformed back to my original form. I saw the forcefield disappear, I was surprised it wasn't afternoon yet, I guess it's only been minutes. She then picked the device and placed it in her pocket. She then turns to me and said,

"Let's go now, shall we?"

" Yeah, let's go," I replied smiling at her.

We walked for a bit and then she asked.

" Hey Tenma, wanna race?"

I smirked and agreed. With that, we both started to run very fast. I can't wait for training again.
