I smiled a little, "So, you were gonna ask me to sit by you at lunch?"

He nodded, "You'd be the only person I know."

"You're such a sweetheart, you know?"

He turned away quickly, hiding the blush on his cheeks, "No, i'm not."

I smiled, "Yes. You. Are. Drop it."

He shook his head, "You're too nice to me."

I looked up at him, "You're the one that took me out and bought me food. Why shouldn't I be nice to you?"

He frowned, "You don't know me as well as you think."

I sighed and shook my head, "Shoto, you're amazing, just the way you are. You don't care what other people think. I enjoy being around you...a lot. We relate to each other, we have a lot in common, and we get along very well. Another thing is, your eyes are really pretty and your scar brings them out even more. I like your hair too, it's really pretty, and it looks really soft. I really like you, Shoto. I like you more than just a friend...SHIT!! I just said all of that out loud..."

I stared at the ground, Shoto said nothing. Tears formed in my eyes, threatening to fall from them. I hugged my knees to my chest. I started crying just a little, "I'm sorry, you probably don't even like me in that way, I'll just leave, i'm a disgrace..."

I stood and turned around, taking a step before I felt a hand grab my arm. I turned, he was looking me straight in the eye. He opened his mouth and spoke these words, "Haruka Yuri. My one and only friend. I do have feelings for you. I just didn't know how to say it. I've never dealt with these feelings before and I just didn't know what to do. But, everything about you, is absolutely perfect. I wouldn't trade you for anyone. Please, don't go..."

I stood there, nothing coming from my mouth, no words. He sat me down gently and waited for me to say something. I asked him, "You don't really do you? Are you just lying to help me feel better."

He shook his head, "Just accept it! I love you, Yuri."

Tears fell, yet again, I embraced him, crying into his turtleneck. He rubbed my back, "It's ok, deep breaths."

Shoto pulled my face off of his chest and looked into my eyes. I looked back, but averted my eyes, he didn't know how he made me feel. He smiled, wiping the tears from my eyes using his finger. He caressed my cheek, and I looked back up at him. His eyes were so pretty. I found myself not being able to look away. He asked me hesitantly, "Yuri? Could I...um...maybe...kiss you?"

I barely had any time to nod my head before he pressed his lips to mine. He pulled away and looked away from me, "Does this mean we're..."

I said softly, "Yeah..."

He frowned, "My father will kill me if he finds out..."

I shook my head, "Don't worry about him right now. He's the least of our worries."

He ruffled my hair a bit and asked, "Can I walk you home?"

I smiled and replied, "Yes."

He helped me up and we headed to my house. When we walked up to the door, it started to rain, and thunder shook the ground beneath us. I shivered, I was deathly afraid of storms, mostly thunder for that matter. I said, "Stay with me for a while, would you?"

He smiled softly, "Of course."

I walked in, taking off my shoes. Shoto did the same. I looked at the clock on the wall, it was currently 7:31 pm. I sighed and said, "I'll be right back."

He nodded and sat down on the couch as I walked back to my room. As I walked in the door, the power went out, and I was left in the dark. Thunder sounded soon after. I haven't done this since I was younger but, I screamed. I jumped onto my bed, hugging my knees to my chest, wanting to start crying again. But, I couldn't do that. I heard footsteps thumping, getting louder, until they stopped at my door. I looked up, seeing Shoto, standing there. He walked into the room and picked me up gently, not wanting to hurt me probably. Thunder shook the ground, I covered my ears and shook. When Shoto sat down, I opened my eyes. I looked up to see a concerned Shoto looking down at me. I embraced him, while nuzzling into his neck. He rubbed circles into my back and whispered into my ear, "It's ok. I'm here. Don't be scared." 

I smiled gently, lifting my head off his shoulder and leaned in to kiss his nose. He smiled a little at me. Suddenly, lightning lit up the room, thunder sounding not long after, I opened my mouth to scream, but Shoto covered it with his hand. I leaned into his hand, it was warm. He chuckled a little and said, "Cute."

He wrapped him free arm around me and pulled me closer. I squeaked from this movement. He looked into my eyes and moved his hand to caress my cheek. He smiled gently, and said, "You're tired, aren't you?"

I nodded slightly and he picked me back up, taking me back to my room. I had noticed the storm had calmed down to just rain. I whispered, "You can go home after you put me down. I can handle myself."

Shoto nodded, kissing my forehead. He set my down on my bed and left the room saying, "I'll see you tomorrow, Yuri."

I said, "Ok."

Then I laid down, kicking my shoes and socks off. I fell asleep not too long after.
