P.O.V. Jaune

I was currently following Ozpin to a part of the school that I had never been to. Actually I had no idea that this part of the school even existed. "So why are you taking me down here again?" I asked looking at Ozpin.

"I believe there is a chance that what you see may prove valuable to us," Ozpin said looking at me. I was a little confused by what he meant but considering everything that's happening if I can help somehow then I'm more than willing to do so.

We continued down the hall until we reached the end. When we did Ozpin held up a vile of distant looked at me. "This is a slightly modified version of the dust we gave [Name]. We're going to use it on you," he said looking at me.

"What? Why me?" I asked looking at him.

"Just feeling that I have," he said looking at me. He then pushed the vile towards me and smiled. "I believe you will see something quiet useful to us," he said looking at me. I looked at the container for a second and then nodded.

I took the small container from him and opened it. "Now what?" I asked looking at him.

"Drink it," he said looking at me. When he said this I looked at the green liquid for a moment before drinking it. When I did I felt a slight burning behind my eyes and held them.

"What do you see?" Ozpin asked looking at me. I was holding my eyes from the pain so at the moment I couldn't see anything. However I did hear screams and sounds that were discouraging. "Jaune I know it hurts but I need you to open your eyes," I heard Ozpin say. When he said this I nodded and slowly opened my eyes.

When I did I saw someone that looked like [Name] in front of me. He was smiling and staring in my direction. I fell to my knees slightly seeing this and looked at him. "I see [Name] but he doesn't seem like himself," I said looking at what I saw.

"How so?" He asked looking at me.

"Its hard to explain, he looks almost like some distorted him and then tried to bring him back together," I said looking at him. I heard a sigh when I said this and I once again stood back up.

"The Shadowlord," I heard Ozpin say. I was afraid that's what this was. Which is why I fell to my knees just moments before. Nothings changed, [Name] still gets taken and possessed. Which means all our work and effort, to keep him from being kidnapped it was all pointless.

"It's strange most people would be trembling at the sight of me. Yet here you stand ready to oppose me," [Name] said looking towards me. A few seconds passed and then he smiled and chuckled. "Tell you what since you've been entertaining I'll give you one last chance to bend your knee to me. If you do then maybe you're family won't have to live in fear," he once again said looking towards me.

"In fear? Heheh what's there to be afraid of?" I heard a new voice say. When I heard this I turned around and saw a male with blood red hair and bright crimson eyes. He looked to be in his late thirties or maybe early forties.

He had well developed muscles and had aura radiating off him. "Ever since I got this body I've done nothing but gain power! Power I could use to bring you to your knees! So I'd watch your tongue if I were you!" [Name] or I guess the Shadowlord said starting to become very upset.

"Heh, it's quality not quantity. Not to mention my power wasn't obtained through petty theft," The male said looking at him.

"I'LL DESTROY YOU!" The Shadowlord said very angry in both his voice and eyes. The male smiled slightly hearing this and raised one of his hands taunting him.

"Heh want to try your luck?" He asked almost as if he was mocking the Shadowlord.

"ABSOLUTELY!" The Shadowlord said as he rushed forward. Everything then faded and I felt my body start to move.

"JAUNE ANSWER ME!" I heard Ozpin say a little panicked. That's when I realized I was so distracted with what I was seeing that I hadn't noticed that Ozpin was still talking to me.

"S-sorry I'm fine I just . . . I saw someone getting ready to fight the Shadowlord," I said looking at him.

"Really? Who was it?" I heard Ozpin's voice ask. I then saw some figures start to appear and moved so that I could see them.

"I don't know but it's, not over," I said ad the figures appeared. I saw name on the ground gasping for air. He seemed exhausted and badly beaten but back to normal. Then behind him I saw the male from before holding something made from darkness and shadow by what appeared to be his throat.

The Shadowlord appeared to be saying something but I couldn't understand what he was saying at all. The red haired male then sighed and looked at the male. "I don't know what we did to deserve such hatred from you. However just know that I am sorry for whatever sparked your hatred for us," he said looking at him.

A strange and distorted voice once again rang through the air. It was hard to understand but I believe that I knew what it said. "I DON'T NEED YOUR PITY!" Was what I believed it said.

"I am sorry for what happened to you, but not sorry enough to excuse your actions. This is not me offering you pity, this is me telling you my thoughts before I destroy your corruption," he said as he crushed the figured in front of him.

When he did the figures faded away and I could see Ozpin once again. "What did you see?" Ozpin asked looking at me.

"I . . . I think I just saw . . . the person who will defeat the Shadowlord," I said with a smile that slowly grew.
