Chapter 2: Caring
P.O.V. [Name]
I tried to stop the tears that were coming from my eyes but as much as I wanted them to they just wouldn't stop. "Why are you crying?" I heard a familiar voice say.
I then looked up at my door and saw that Pyhrra was standing there. When I saw this I wiped away my tears and looked at her. "Why do you care?" I asked looking at her.
"I want to help you. I'm also a little curious about why you were crying over eight people that you've never mentioned before." She said looking at me.
"I don't like to talk about it and to be completely honest you're not gonna be able to help me. It's to late for that now." I said looking at the ground with a sigh at the end.
"We won't know unless I try to help you now will we." She said looking at me. She then sat down beside me and placed a hand on my shoulder.
"I know for a fact it's to late what's been done is permanent and can't be helped now. Nothing will ever change that." I said looking at her and taking her hand off of me.
"Alright so maybe I won't be able to help you with that subject but maybe I can help you from this point on." She said looking at me with a smile.
"I honest don't see the point in trying but if you want to try and help me then that's your call." I said looking at her which caused her to smile.
"Alright well first things first we need to get you some new friends. Just being friends with me isn't going to be enough." She said looking at me. She then got up grabbed my hand and started to drag me behind her.
I sighed at this I mean really who cares this much about someone that they know nothing about. In my opinion it's just unnatural. We then stopped in front of door.
"Wait here I'm going to go inside and get my team." She said looking at me. I nodded and waited for her to go inside however when she did I felt her aura become much happier and a little nervous for some reason.
I guess it doesn't really concern me. I waited for her to come back out however when she did come back out she came out with a girl that had orange hair.
She then looked at me and I felt her aura become even more nervous. "Sorry but Nora's the only one here at the moment so you'll just have to meet the other two later." She said looking at me.
"What about the male?" I asked looking at her and her friend.
"W-what are you talking about?" Pyhrra asked looking at me.
"The male that's inside the room. He looks to be about five feet tall and has a really weak aura signature." I said looking at her.
"I think he knows about Jaune." Nora said looking at the redhead that was in front of me.
"So his name's Jaune? Oh well to be honest I don't think I want to meet him. His aura shows signs of only recently being unlocked and even by those standards it still has a weak signature to it." I said aloud.
"Man sounds like he has Jaune down." Nora said looking at Pyhrra.
"H-hey I'm not that weak." I heard a muffled voice say on the other side of the wall. I sighed when he heard this these walls were not meant to be thin which meant he was listening to our conversation.
"I'm starting to think this was a bad idea. I'll be back in my room if you need me." I said as I turned around and started to head towards my dorm.
As I did I hear someone walking behind me. I then turned around and saw that Pyhrra was walking behind me. "Why are you so persistent on this topic?" I asked looking at her.
"It's because no one deserves to be alone." She said looking at me.
"Sometimes it's better to be alone no one can hurt you that way." I said looking at her.
"Well me and my friends are different. We won't hurt you I can promise you that much." She said looking at me.
"Promises are just more ways to lose." I said looking at her. I was going to turn around and continue to walk away but then turned to face her again.
"I know you didn't ask but I feel like I should at least attempt to repay you for trying. So I think the least I can do is tell you that Jaune doesn't feel the same way." I said looking at her.
"W-what?" She asked looking at me in disbelief.
"I can read aura. It's obvious how much you like him and I mean how you like him more than a friend. He doesn't return your feelings he has those feelings for someone else. I think your time would be better spent trying to get over him." I said looking at her.
I heard a slight sniffle as I walked down the hallway. I then turned around and saw that she was crying. I felt bad for her I didn't mean for this to happen. I just thought that she should know.
"Look trust me when I say that moving on really is the best choice for you at the moment." I said looking at her.
"But his aura it was so kind and gentle I've never met another man with aura like his." She said looking at me.
"Have you looked on the streets? I mean guys like him aren't as uncommon as you might think. I'm sure if you put enough effort in you could someone with aura similar to his. He's not one in a million he's a dime a dozen." I said looking at her.
"How can you be so sure? What if I never find anyone like him again?" She asked wiping her tears away.
"Then find someone who won't make you cry. Find someone who will make you feel special and treat you like a queen even when you think you don't deserve it. Find someone who will love you like you love them." I said looking at her.
"Thanks I'll try to keep that in mind." She said looking at me. I then smiled and began to walk away although I felt her aura sudden change around me just a bit.
