A/N: Alright everyone so as you noticed from the title this chapter is a two part chapter and is a bit long and because of how long the actual chapter was I had to split it into two parts so the second part to this will be posted in an hour after this is posted. Also don't expect a lot of actual fighting because I tend to suck at those so I tried to skip over that part.

P.O.V. [Name]

I laughed slightly at what Cardin had just said. "No way!" I said looking at him. 

"Yeah, she punched me right in my face," Cardin said with a sigh and he looked at me. I laughed once again hearing this and he sighed with a smile. "I'm not sure what I was expecting and to be honest I probably had it coming," Cardin said with a smile. 

It's amazing how much he's changed over the past three days. It's almost like he's an entirely different person. I then felt the ground shake slightly and we gained a much more serious expression. 

We looked at the ocean that surrounded Vale and waited for something. I then saw a large mound start to rise from the water and the head of the Colossus slowly emerged. My eyes widened seeing the full size of this thing. 

It was massive! Taller than anything I had ever seen before! Far bigger than anything I could possibly imagine. I then hit the button that Ozpin had given us and we began to run towards Beacon feeling the ground shake behind us. 

It's not close to Beacon but for us to be able to see it from here. It's massive, it seems like none of the Grimm that are with it have got here yet and I looked at Cardin. He nodded and we both began to run towards Beacon. 

When we did we saw all of team JNPR and team RWBY as well as a few others already waiting for us. We all then waited to receive our new orders from Ozpin and I heard Nora's, Yang's, and Cardin's scroll all beep and light up. 

"What's it say?" I asked looking at them. 

"Front-line we're going to be their main defensive the wall that have to tear down so to speak," Cardin said as he looked at me. I then heard some more beeps and saw Ren, Weiss, and Blake all reach for their scrolls.

"Support and assist the front-line brawlers. Help wherever you can and wherever you feel you're needed," Weiss said reading the message aloud. Two more beeps were heard and this time it was Ruby and Jaune. 

"Get inside of Beacon and be the last line of defense," Jaune said looking at the message. Then my scroll lit up and I looked at it to see a message that said 'avoid the colossus at all cost move around and make it difficult to track you. You're what it really wants,' 

I then heard a final beep and turned to see Pyrrha looking at her scroll. "Well?" I asked looking at her and she showed me her scroll as she read the message aloud. 

"Protect [Name]," She said looking at me. I nodded hearing this and watched as everyone ran and eventually disappeared. "Where do you think we should go?" Pyrrha asked looking at me. I looked around a little confused hearing this and thought about the options I had. 

If they're coming form one side of the island then going to the other side won't help. It'll just give the Colossus another reason to destroy Beacon. Going to the far end of the islands might help but not much all that will accomplish is us getting cornered and eventually captured. 

I then looked up and smiled as I looked at the roof of Beacon. It's not perfect but they'd have to get there first plus we could kill some flying grimm while we're up there with the others that were sent up to the roof, and we could leave if needed. 

It's not perfect but it's the best I got at the moment. Pyrrha noticed where I was staring and nodded as we began to climb the walls of Beacon to reach the roof. When we did I saw several people with their weapons pointing and shooting down several different types of Grimm. 

I looked at the Colossus for a few moments before it spotted me and let out a scream. It was so loud I had to cover my ears when it did and I think I felt the ground shake beneath me. The grimm then held up it's hand a dark mass appeared in it. 

After a few moments passed several Nevermore began to fly out of the mass I looked at the creature in front of me. It can create grimm at will, I then heard a few more footsteps behind me and turned to see Jaune looking at us. 

"Jaune what are you doing up here?" I asked looking at him. 

"Ozpin told me to come up here and help guide the snipers," Jaune said looking at me. I then turned to see Pyrrha fighting a few grimm to keep them from me. However I then heard the massive beast let out another screech and looked towards us. 

A dark mass began to gather above it's head and slowly started to grow. I could see a few things getting sucked into it and becoming apart of the sphere as well. It then sent the sphere towards us and it barely missed the building. 

However when it did I felt myself being sucked towards it only to stop when I saw Pyrrha's spear pin me to the ground I looked back at the female and saw she was using her semblance to keep herself in place but was forced to watch as the others were sucked into the sphere as it passed over us. 

I then looked around to see how many had survived and saw that less than half of us had survived. I then saw Ozpin and Shemo along with Amelia on the roof. "Looks like you were right," Ozpin said as he looked around noticing how many students had disappeared. 

I then heard another loud scream and saw Amelia cling closer to her father clear terrified by what was going on. Shemo then placed a hand on the back of the female and she looked up at him and he gave her a kind smile. "Everything will be fine I promise," The male said looking at her. 

When I turned I saw the creature was creating another orb above it's head and looked around. So many people are dying and it's all my fault. If it wasn't for me then they wouldn't be dying. If I wasn't here then . . . wait that's it!

I then looked at the creature and smiled slightly. It's a servant of the Shadowlord which means it should want the same things as him. I then looked at Pyhrra and Jaune who were helping some of the others and began to walk over to the edge of the building putting myself between them and the Colossus. 

I took a deep breath and stared at the beast as it continued to gather energy for it's attack and Jaune began to speak. "What are you-" He began only for me to cut him off. It's fairly obvious what he was going to say so I don't need to wait for him to finish. 

"Stay behind me! That thing won't kill me, the shadowlord needs me alive. He wouldn't dare hurt his master oh so precious vessel," I said as the beast continued to charge it's attack. 

"Is that what you think?" I heard the same tormenting voice say inside of my head followed by a slight laugh. "That's were you're wrong, while it's true there's several things I need for a vessel. I can find a suitable replacement you're not the only one who fits that bill! I'll worry about that once the colossus blasts you all into infinite darkness!" The voice said as the colossus sent a giant ball towards us. 

P.O.V. Jaune

I looked at the massive figure in front of me before it let out a horrifying scream. When it did shadow's began to gather above it forming a massive ball above it. You have to be kidding me, it can use something like that mulitple times?

Is this what the grimm are truly capable of? [Name] then moved in front of both me and Pyrrha. "What are you-" I began only for him to cut me off. 

"Stay behind me! That thing won't kill me, the shadowlord needs me alive. He wouldn't dare hurt his master oh so precious vessel," [Name] said looking at the giant creature in front of him. I was unsure about this because the creature didn't stop gathering energy. 

It then sent the ball towards us and I closed my eyes seeing this prepared to die. However I then heard a massive impact and felt a large gust of wind send me back. When I opened my eyes I saw Shemo at the edge of Beacon holding the sphere back. 

I then watched as some of his clothes was destroyed by the attack. "You damn kids, it seems like all of your power is half baked," he said with his usual arrogant tone however I could see that he was struggling to hold the giant sphere back. 

His small frail body was showing, with an appearance like that I'm surprised he could beat [Name] as easily as he did let alone hold that thing back. He then looked back at me "Can you protect my daughter?" He asked looking at me. I was a bit confused as to why he was asking me this and hesitated. "CAN YOU!" He screamed looking at me. 

"Y-yes!" I said looking at him and he smiled. I then saw his red tattoo glow. 

"I'm really counting on you so don't screw this up," He said as his body began to change. His frail body became massive and intimidating, he muscles no longer small and thin but now massive and well defined. His gray hair became a solid red color and his aura suddenly flared to life.

My eyes widened at what I was seeing. It's him! The one I saw that was going to fight [Name]! He then turned to look at me and began to hold the sphere back with hand rather easily. "Then I'll leave that to you," He said as he turned his attention to the rest.

"I want the rest of you to do what you can to keep the grimm from entering the building and pick off the small-fries wherever you can," He said looking at us. 

"And you?" [Name] asked looking at the male in front of him. 

"Do you really need to ask?" Shemo asked as he let the sphere a little closer to him and pushed it away sending it back at the giant creature. "I'll handle the Colossus," He said with a smile as he jumped off the building.
