Cortney spent a lot of her summer catching up with her friends and family at home. It really was great to be home for her, to be surrounded by people who took her in was just amazing. Like a certain amount of people, she too believed Harry saying that You-Know-Who is back.

Cortney got many letters from Theodore Nott, but she would not answer any of them. She made it a point not to. He put many hateful words in them, each time she read them. She didn't tell anyone because she wanted to handle this problem herself.
