Moments later, Harry and Ginny both returned, both looked very beaten up. Ginny was very frightened. Ron quickly pulled Ginny into a hug. Harry had the sword of Gryffindor, the sorting hat, Tom Riddle's diary, and Fawkes, Dumbledore's phoenix. Fawkes was able to carry everyone, Cortney felt lighter, they flew up through the cave.

" Amazing! Just like magic! " Lockhart shouted amused.

Harry, Ron, and Cortney all stood in Dumbledore's office.

" You all realized of course in the past few hours you have perhaps broken a dozen school rules," said Dumbledore.

" Yes sir," they all muttered.

" I have sufficient evidence to have you three expelled," warned Dumbledore. The three looked at each other and nodded.  " Therefore, it is only fitting that you all receive....special services to the school ". The three looked at each other smiling.

" Thanks, sir," They breathed smiling at him.

" And Mr. Weasly and Ms. Lestrange, of you, would have an owl deliver these release papers to Azkaban. I believe we would like our gamekeeper back ". He handed the two papers, they both happily walked out of the office. 

" Thank god we didn't get expelled," Ron breathed as they head towards the Owlery. " Mum would've killed me ".

" Both my moms would have killed me," said Cortney. On their way, they passed Lucious Malfoy and a small tiny creature. It had big floppy ears, the ends pointed, and long, pointed nose, great big eyes, Resembling tennis balls. Very short. Was only wearing a dirty rag.

" Ron? " Cortney asked." What is that? "

"An elf," Ron replied. Ron explained elves till they entered the Owlery. They were going to use Errol to send the letters. " So I heard that you and Theodore Nott are dating," He was snickering as he tied the note to Errol's foot.

" Oh, fudge nuggets! I was supposed to have a date with him last night," Cortney groaned making Ron laugh.

They were in the Great Hall, all those that have been petrified have been un-petrified.  Cortney was sitting at the Gryffindor table.

" Harry it's Hermione! " Neville exclaimed. Harry, Ron, and Cortney all looked down to see a happy, not petrified Hermione. The three all stood up. Hermione ran towards them and tackled Harry and Cortney into a hug. she and Ron went to go hug, they stopped awkwardly. 

" Welcome back Hermione," Ron said sticking out his wand.

" It's good to be back," Hermione smiled shaking his hand. " Congratulations! I can't believe you solved it! "

" We had loads of help from you," Harry said smiling. They all sat back down. Professor McGonagall tapped her glass. Everyone went silent and placed their attention on Dumbledore as he stood up to speak.

" Before we begin the feast, let us have a round of applause for Professor Sprout and Madame Pomfrey, whose Mandrake juice has been so successfully administered to those who have been petrified," announced Dumbledore. Everyone clapped and cheered as the two staff members blushed. " Also in the lighted events, as a school treat, all exams have been canceled! " Everyone cheered.

" Oh no! " Hermione exclaimed making them laugh. The Great Halls opened revealing Hagrid.

" Sorry I'm late,"  Hagrid began walking down the hallway. "  The owl that delivered my release papers got all lost and confused. Some ruddy bird named Errol". Cortney and Ron looked at each other before looking sheepishly up at Dumbledore.

" It's okay," Hermione said, the two looked back at Hagrid. Hagrid walked up to them smiling.

"I'd just like to say that if it hadn't been for you Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Cortney I would uh I'd still be you know where so I'd just like to say. Thanks ". Harry stood up.

" It's no Hogwarts without you Hagrid," Harry said hugging him.

' Cheesy' Cortney thought to herself. Everyone began clapping. Harry pulled back and joined the clapping and people began to cheer. Hagrid wiped away happy tears.

Cortney was in the hallway with Dean, Neville, and Seamus.

" Thank god, exams were canceled, I was not ready for Herbology or Astronomy," Cortney said happily.

" You would be if you showed up," began Dean.

" Paid attention," continued Neville.

" And stayed awake," finished Seamus.

" Touche," Cortney said pretending to be offended, she placed her hands over her heart.

" You know we love you," Seamus said ruffling her hair.

" Aye !! Hands off the lion mane! " Cortney exclaimed swatting his hands away.

Later that week Cortney was walking in the hallway.

" Ms. Lestrange ! " called Professor Sprout, which made her jump and drop everything in her hands.

" Hello Professor Sprout," Cortney greeted, she got on her knees and picked up her stuff.

" My student that excels really well that, he agreed to help you till you are done with Herbology," Profesor Sprout informed. 

" Thank you so much," Cortney said getting up and looking at her Professor and the student that would help you. 

' Oh my god! Anything but him ! ' Cortney thought to herself. It was the one and only Neville Longbottom.

" Mr. Longbottom will help you starting next year," Professor Sprout said. Neville and Cortney reluctantly shook hands.

Tomorrow was the last day, Cortney was currently packing.

" Daphne is Teddy mad at me? " Cortney questioned.

" Just a little, I mean you didn't show up to the date last night," Daphne admitted.

" I need to go talk to him," Cortney said walking out of the dorm. She found him at a table talking to other Slytherin boys. She walked over to the table.

" Teddy, can I talk to you? " Cortney asked.

" I think your girl, wants a few words with you Teddy bear," one of the boys snicker.

" Shut up Adrian," Theodore said standing up. Cortney took his hand and walked to a spot no one would really hear them in the common room.

" Look, I am really sorry about last night. please let me make it up to you," Cortney pleaded.

" I don't know Cort, I mean you made me look really stupid," Theodore said avoiding her eyes.

" Please! Tonight! Around 2 am! In the common room! Please show up," Cortney said before walking away.

Cortney now sat on her bed. All the other girls made a spot on her.

" You didn't even give him a choice? " Kierra asked.

" Was it the wrong thing to do ?" Cortney asked.

" I think it was brilliant," Pansy told her smiling.

" Why don't you make a fort? " Millicent suggested.

" Brilliant idea! " Tracey exclaimed. Daphne took Cortney's hair out of the ponytail. She made it look like it flowed down nicely.

" There, now he adores your hair, making him really want to go," Daphne said.

Later that night Cortney had the fort all set up, she was laying under the fort, by the glass. She laid there patiently, and nervously. All of a sudden a body landed next to hers.

" Nice fort," Theodore said.'" I'm glad," Cortney said smiling and looking at him. " I didn't know that you would come ".

" I thought about it, and I was like I'm going down there, I wanted to see you on a date one last time before we leave," Theodore said kissing the side of her head. Cortney smiled. She then took out a candle and lit and placed it over the glass. The two watched as some creatures swam by. They also were quietly talking to each other The squid came out of nowhere making Cortney jump into Theodore.

" I won't let anything hurt," Theodore laughed. He wrapped his arms around her. Soon the two fell asleep, right there, under the fort.

Everyone was on the train home, Cortney sat in a compartment with Neville, Seamus, and Dean.

" Cortney," De'lexi said opening the compartment door.

" De'lexi," Cortney said jumping up and walking over to her.

" Boys, I need her for a minute or two," De'lexi said pulling Cortney out of the compartment. In the hallway were also Milan and Joey. 

" We have a name," Joey said quietly. They paused and looked at the still open compartment door. Seamus. Dean and Neville all were listening. 

" Two minutes," Cortney said closing the door. " What's the name? "

" We come from different houses in Hogwarts," began Milan.

" It's a bit long," continued Joey.

" How about Grythcluf, " De'lexi said. " Gry for Gryffindor, th for Slytherin, cl for Ravenclaw, and uf for Hufflepuff".

" Brilliant," Cortney breathed. " I have my code name, do all of you? " They all nodded. " Mine is Zip".

" Rocket," said Milan.

"Powerball," said Joey.

" And Zinger," De'lexi said. The four smiled, the three walked off. Cortney turned to her compartment. She saw Dean, Neville, and Seamus squished against the glass trying to listen. Cortney rolled her eyes and went into the compartment.

" What was that about? " Dean asked.

" Dean, I found your nose," Cortney began. " It was in my business ". Cortney ended falling asleep on the way home. She woke up to a loud boom. She saw that everyone was covered in soot including her.

" Seamus," Cortney groaned wiping her face. He gave a please don't kill smile.

" Are you trying to catch the compartment on fire? " Cortney asked angrily.

" No, just you," He answered. She glared at him.

Cortney just got home, she was in Michigan standing in front of her house. Two little boys came running put tackled her in a hug.

" Cort- Cort ! " the two boys exclaimed.

' Mikey! T-dog Tristen! " Cortney cried hugging them. It was good to be home.
