Cortney walked into the Great Hall to be greeted by Professor McGonagall, Milan, De'Lexi, and Joey. All looked beaten up and exhausted.

" I'll catch up with you," Cortney told Seamus, he nodded and walked away.

" After you four get cleaned up, would like to go register that you are animaguses," Professor McGonagall suggested.

" Of course," Milan said smiling.

" And if we don't? " Cortney asked.

" Cortney! " De'lexi snapped.

" Don't get caught," McGonagall smiled at them. They laughed and separated.  Cortney walked up to Harry as Ron and Hermione came in holding hands. The two blushed, the four walked over to the damaged courtyard and to the damaged bridge. Harry held out the elder wand.

" Why didn't it work for him the elder wand? " Hermione asked.

" It answered to somebody else. When he killed Snape, he thought the wand would become his. But the thing is it never belonged to Snape. You were right Cortney. It was Draco who disarmed Dumbledore the night in the Astronomy Tower. From that moment on, the wand answered him. Until hours ago, I disarmed Draco in the Room of Requirments," Harry explained. 

" So that means...." Ron began staring at him.

" It's mine," Harry nodded.

" What do we do with it now? " Ron asked excitedly. 

" We !? " Hermione demanded. 

" I'm just saying it's the most powerful wand in the world. With that he'll be invincible," Ron stated. Harry stood on the edge without thinking twice, he held out the wand and snapped it in half. Harry threw the pieces in opposite directions. Harry hopped down and the others understood why he did it. Cortney walked back towards the Great Hall. She stopped and looked at her mother's dead body.

" What are you going to do? " Mrs. Weasley asked, she walked over to her.

" I want to bury her," Cortney huffed. " I'll take care of the burial".

" Honey, we all can pitch in," Mrs, Weasley assured. " You have a lot on your plate at the moment". Cortney looked at Mrs. Weasley with a small smile. 

" So Cortney," Hermione began as she walked up to them. " Since the war is now over".

" Yeah," Cortney said.

" When can we meet Dana? " Hermione asked.  Cortney looked at Hermione, her eyes slowly went wide.

" Dana! " Cortney panicked. She then began to leave in a hurry. 

"  Relax Cort," Ginny said walking up to her. " Dana isn't going anywhere".

" I need to see her," Cortney said walking around her.

" Not like that," Ginny pointed out. Hours later, Cortney was at her house. She cleaned up as much as she could, now stepping into the fireplace to get to her aunts. She threw the floo powder and said the name of her aunt's place.

" Hello ? " a weak voice asked. Cortney stepped out of the fireplace to find her Aunt Andromeda at the table crying.

" Bella! " Aunt Andromeda panicked as she stood up and near the stairs.

" No," Cortney said. " She's dead, I'm her daughter".

" T-tonks," Aunt Andromeda started to cry. " I just got news about her and Remus". They sat at a table and talked about their loved ones. Their talk was broken by a baby's cry, one Cortney knew too well. She hurried up the steps. At that moment there was a knock at the door. Aunt Andromeda cautiously opened the door. She saw the Weasleys, Harry, Hermione, Neville, Luna, Dean, and Seamus.

" Cortney here? " Seamus asked in hope.

" She just went upstairs," Andromeda said. She let them, they all sat in the kitchen or living room. Cortney came down the steps with a small baby girl in her arms. At that moment Seamus's world stopped spinning.

" Cortney," Ginny said, Cortney looked up shocked, she was even more shocked to see all these people at the house. Dana started crying.

" Shh, shhh," Cortney tried to comfort a crabby Dana. She looked down at her baby. " It's alright, I'm here". She ran her fingers over Dana's arms. " I know I know, I was gone. I've missed you". Cortney kissed Dana's head. She started to get a little squirmy. " You hungry ? I don't understand, you never get this crabby".

" Cortney," Seamus said standing up. Cortney looked up at him, not realizing he was here. " Let me try". Cortney walked over and handed him, Dana, he sat down back on the couch. Mrs. Weasley quickly snapped a picture. This is Seamus's first time meeting and holding his daughter. Dana immediately stopped crying. 

" Daddy's girl, I see how it is," Cortney commented as she sat next to Seamus. Everyone laughed.

" She calmed down a lot whenever I had a fire going," Aunt Andromeda pointed out. 

" That's odd, I mean I wrapped her blankets, and your shirt Seamus," Cortney said. 

" There was no t-shirt in your baby bag," her aunt said. Cortney looked up to see her friends with a smile.

" What? " Cortney asked.

" Dana recognized the smell of Seamus," Mrs. Weasley cooed.  Seamus and Cortney looked up at each other with a smile.
