Chapter 11

Baekhyun's POV

I actually had a good night sleep. What did i expect sleeping on a bed that felt like it was i was sleeping on fluffy clouds.

Seeing my parents making out in the kichen while mom burnt some eggs made me feel like i was back at home but seeing Tao, Kris, Mark and Jackson just reminded me that all that happened wasnt a dream.

Fred was feeling extra excited to day and I also couldnt help but feel something good was about to happen.

"Good morning people...and werewolves" I said as i joined them for breakfast when everything was finally ready.

"I'm actually a warlock" Mark said leaving me in shock.

"Wow like for real. I thought this was like werewolf kingdom" I said.

"Its a supernatural kingdom filled with all types of supernatural creatures. The werewolves are just the ones in charge" Jackson explained.

"Oh okay. This all might be crazy but its kind of cool. I never really fit in the human world and now i know why. I hope things will be different here" I said thinking about my loner life and bullies and all that drama.

"Don't worry luna. You will fit right in" Mark said with a smile.

"Wait what did you just call me?" I asked.

"I said don't worry now...hahahaha" he said acting all suspicious but i just let it go but i clearly heard what he said.

He called me Luna. Isnt that the Alpha's mate.

'Yes it is. OH MY GOSH. Is our mate an Alpha? That would be so cool' Fred said in excitement.

'Does this mean we will meet our mate soon' I responded also in excitement.

Eversince learning about mates I have always been looking forward to meeting mine.

"So how did you two know you were mates?" I asked Tao and Kris.

"Why do you want to know about that?" Mom asked me. I know she didnt like the idea of someone taking me away from her but it is bound to happen sooner or later.

"Just" i said giving them a smile.

"When you meet your mate 3 things will happen. First you will catch their scent. It will be the single most beautiful smell you will ever inhale and it will pull you in no matter how much you fight it. Secondly there is sight. You will see your mate and they will be the most beautiful man or woman you have ever seen. The minute you see your mate you will never find any other person attractive in your life. The finally there is touch. When you two touch you will feel electric sparks flowing all over your body. He or She will be the only one who can make you feel that way and you can never resist each other" Mark decided to explain it to me.

"Wow" i said in amazement.

"Yes it is amazing. I felt that all when i met Jackson. Even if im not a werewolf we also go through the same process if we have a werewolf mates. Its not as intense as it happens for actual werewolves but you feel something" Mark said before giving Jackson a loving smile.

After spending the day lazing around Mark and Jackson suggested we should take a walk. It was all fun and games before idiots decided to abandon me there.

I was busy admiring the scenary as we arrived at a beautiful opening where there was a flowing river and flowers of all shapes when they decided to ditch me.

I could even get a whiff of their scents and was totally lost.

I called all their names including my parents names and the other werewolves but no one answered to my call. I must have been too deep in the woods.

The sun set and i was so scrared even though it was a full moon which brightly lit the forest. I was about to give up and start crying when it happened.

I caught a scent. Not just any scent but the most alluring and intoxicating scent i have even smelled. I couldnt help but be drawn to it.

Soon I was running towards the source of the scent which led me back to the beautiful opening i had been abandoned at this afternoon. This time though they was a man who stood close to the river but i only saw his back view. He seemed to be deep in thought as he gazed at the moon.

I stepped on a stick breaking it with a loud crack. He immediately turned to face me with an angry look which quickl softened as our eyes met.

"This is impossible" we both said at the same time as we stood watching each other while frozen in place.

He was not only the most handsome man i had ever seen but also the man i had been dreaming of almost every night.

He was the first to step towards me but i didnt move. The closer he moved to me the move i was engulfed in his intoxicating scent. It was literally making me feel drunk and dizzy.

He stood right in front of me and i was forced to look up into his eyes. He was very tall but i didnt mind. He looked at me like I was the most precious thing in the world.

He stroked my cheek and thats when i felt the sparks.

'MATE' Fred screamed in my head as realisation hit me.

He pulled me into his arms before burying his face in my neck and inhalling deeply.

"Mate" he said and I felt his deep voice vibrate through my body suddenly making me weak in the knees but he held me tight.

"MINE" he said possessively as he grazed his fangs against my neck and i could do nothing but moan in response and he kissed and sucked on my neck.

All i could do was hold onto him like my life depended on it. Without warning i felt his fangs sink into my neck. I screamed in pain but soon it turned into moaning as my whole body shook in pleasure.

He licked the spot before looking into my eyes again.

"I love you" he whispered and kissed me on the lips before everything went blank.
