Chp.1
You still remember the day you guys first met. 6th grade. Lunch. 12:34 exactly. No you're not a stalker and you don't have psychic powers. You just remember that because those kids were the first friends you've ever made in 6th grade. Middle school was hard for you, no doubt about it. You weren't used to the crowds, being homeschooled and all. But you always looked forward to science. That's when you saw tons and tons of kids gathered in groups working on projects. You were two weeks late in register and just now made it in to this classroom. All the chattering of the students stopped as you shuffled your way into the unfamiliar class. The boys and girls stared at you and so did the teacher. The kids blank as can be, blinked only once during that awkward appearance. "Um...Hi." You said in your shy voice. "My uh...my name's (y/n) (l/n). I'm th-the new uh...student from the waiting list you set up. I came in from homeschool." You explained to your teacher. She smiled at your nervousness. "Why hello, (y/n). Nice to meet you!" The teacher got up from her desk and walked over towards you. She took out her hand and you accepted, shaking it firmly. The rest of the students went back to work as the teacher whispered. "It's okay...you'll get used to it." You sat at an empty table with an empty seat next to yours. The teacher explained that someone was absent. You didn't remember the name back then so you just ignored that and started working on a portfolio the teacher handed out. Only 2 people got 100% on the portfolio. You of course, and some new boy named Ian Hecox. The boy glanced over at you with his sparkling blue eyes and smiled. The bell rung and the surge of anxious students ran out the small, hollow door. Ian and you were the last ones to escape from the Lab. Ian walled beside you but didn't say anything. He just trailed on the side like he's known you your whole life.
(Time skip)
You sat down by yourself again at a slightly filled lunchtable, but still no one ever talked to you. That is until Ian walked over with a tall boy and sat down in front of you. "Hi!" He said quickly. "My name's Ian!" I waved shyly as I glanced over at the tall boy. He had black hair that spiked at the top. "This right here is Anthony. He's my best friend." Long story short, you, Ian, and Anthony talked for about thirty minutes and you guys became best friends. 17 years later the two boys you call your best friends pulled you out of your shy zone. You are now outgoing, funny, courages, and (has always been) smart. Thanks to the duo they call themselves
