5- The kiss

Diego~

It's been a week since I last talked with my informant about Mr. Alexander, and was beginning to get nervous that I still hadn't heard a word from him. In the past week, I've had a few encounters with Crystal, and not once did I see her with any other men. The only man I saw her with, was her brother, who was helping her with her wedding. As for stealing from him, I'm finding it extremely hard to believe that she is. From the time I began following her, and watching all her moves, not once did I see her go to an ATM, bank, or to any one of his hotels. As for any money he would have at home, my guess would be that he would have all cash hidden in a safe that's well hidden.

The more I watched her, the fonder I was growing of her. All suspicions I've had of Mr. Alexander from the beginning, were now becoming stronger, and now I'm intending to find out what he is up to. With one week left to get rid of her, I had to get my ass in gear and figure this shit out, before an innocent person loses her life to this prick.

I walked into the gym, and spotted Crystal working out. I walked over, and stood in front of her, wanting to get her attention when she was looking at the magazine resting on the front of the machine. "Hello there," I said with a smile. She turned the machine off, and stopped walking on the treadmill while removing the headphones from her ears. I placed my hands on the machine, and leaned forward, trying to charm her with my smile. "I was wondering... would you like to have dinner with me tonight?"

She turned the treadmill back on, and started walking, and sighed, "I can't, my fiancé would kill me," she says quietly.

"Would he now?" I say sarcastically, knowing he wouldn't being he's the one who hired me to kill her.

"Do you work tonight?" I ask.

"Yes."

I smiled, "I think you should let me take you out to dinner, and afterwards I'll drop you off at work... what do you say?" I say. still trying to charm her with my smile. After all, Mr. Alexander wouldn't suspect me of taking her out, knowing I'm supposed to be the one following her every move.

She looked at me without saying a word, the look of one who was thinking hard. I shrugged my shoulder's, and turned around, then started walking away until I heard her speak softly, "Wait...what should I wear?" she said. I turned around, and saw how she was looking at me with uncertainty on her face.

"Wear something nice," I said, walking back towards her. "Is your fiancé going to be home, or would you like to meet me somewhere?" I don't know why, but for some reason I felt excitement run through me that she accepted my offer to dinner, and knew I better make it worth her while, and take her someplace nice.

She shrugged her shoulders and looked around her, before looking at me with worried eyes. "With him you never know, but to be safe, I'd rather meet you somewhere. Do you have a phone number you can give me, and that way I can let you know exactly where I'll be?"

"Sounds like a plan," I say winking at her, "I'll give you my number before I leave." I walked away, and headed for the bench press. I was happy, and hoped Mr. Alexander wouldn't be around to give her a hard time, and felt tonight would be the perfect opportunity to get information out of her, about him.

While leaving the gym, I looked around for her, and didn't see her, and thought she left earlier than normal, shit, I groaned, then started heading for the door to see if she happened to be waiting outside, when I felt a tap on my shoulder. "I need your number," I hear, and turned around.

I handed her a piece of paper with my name, and number, and winked, "You can call me anytime, and don't be giving my name and number out to anyone," I smirked.

"I won't," she giggled.

I reached my hand up to her face, and traced her jawline with my thumb, "See you later, beautiful."

As I walked to my car, my phone rings. I looked at my phone, saw unknown. I wasn't in the mood to take another job, and debated on answering the call, answering it hesitantly.

"You never told me a time." I hear a beautiful soft voice say.

I chuckled, and smiled, "I guess knowing a time would help... how does six o'clock work for you?" I ask, then heard a beep on the phone, and looked to see who was calling on the other line. "I'm sorry I have another call coming in, and have to take this call. I'll be waiting to hear from you," I say before taking the other call.

I hated having to let her go, but seeing that my informant was calling I had to answer his call, especially since I've been waiting a week for him to finally get back to me. "What do you have for me?" I asked. After listening to what he had to say, the angrier I was becoming, "I fucking told that bastard I would not take this job if what he told me about her was not true... I fucking knew it... son of a fucking bitch," I growled. "Thanks for finally getting back to me with that information," I sighed.

Six o'clock came, and I sat in my car waiting for her phone call. After waiting twenty minutes, I was beginning to think she wasn't calling. I waited another fifteen minutes, and was thinking about heading home until my phone rang. It was her, asking for me to pick her up at her house. "Are you sure?" I asked surprised.

"Jameson had to fly out to Florida for a business meeting, and won't be back until tomorrow night," she tells me, then gives me directions to her home.

I pulled up to her home, and grinned when I saw her standing outside waiting for me. She looked fucking hot in the dress she was wearing, that it had my ticker going. She was wearing a red, v neck dress, that was tight fitting, forming to her curves just right, and was revealing her nice sized plump breasts, that I had to look down at my cock, and tell him to behave. Oh, my woody womb pecker, don't you go making an entrance now. I muttered. I opened my car door, and got out, quickly running to the other side, and opened the door for her, "You look very nice," I said smiling, and my heart racing more.

"Where are you taking me?" she asked, looking at me curiously, but with a smile that had me smiling back. "I hope you're taking me somewhere nowhere around here; I just can't risk being seen."

"I know, I already planned on taking you to a nice place, located outside of town."

"Thank you," she says sounding relieved.

As I drove to the restaurant, I kept looking over at her. I couldn't believe she was sitting in my car, and was taking her out. God, if Jameson, or shall I say Mr. Alexander knew what I was doing right now, he'd put a hit out on both us. I thought to myself, while stealing another peek at her. I'm a breast man, and man... those breasts of hers, has me wanting to pull over to nibble on those nipples I see poking out, and to wrap my mouth around them. I had to shake my head to get rid of the thoughts, and to concentrate on the road. Once in a while, I'd look out the corner of my eye, wanting to look at her, and caught her looking at me, that I began to snicker.

"What's so funny?" she asked.

"Nothing really... I'm just happy that you're allowing me to take you to dinner tonight, that's all."

Once we got to the restaurant and approached the hostess, I asked if she could place us somewhere a little more private. She walked us through the dining area, and over to an area that was a bit romantic. The lighting was dark, we were by ourselves, and the ambiance was perfect for the two of us. I liked that the table was lit with a candle at the center of the table, and how they had soft romantic music playing in the background. "How's this table?" I ask, pulling a chair out for her to sit.

"We didn't have to come to a place like this," she says quietly, sitting down.

"Just relax," I tell her, as he sat down across from her. "Aren't you used to coming to places like this?

"No, Jameson doesn't take me out anywhere. He always says he's going to, then never comes home when we're supposed to go out."

Unbelievable I thought to myself, then again, he does want her dead. I shook my head, and leaned forward. "Remind me again, why you're wanting to marry him?" I ask, looking at her. She looks at me, and ignores me as she lifts her menu, and looks at it. I wanted to ask her if it was because of his money, but then thought, that was a bad idea, and a question not to ask. I don't see her as a money grubber, and if she was having a hard time being in a nice restaurant, she sure as hell is no thief.

We both got quiet as we looked over the menu, I looked up and was going to ask what she was going to order, but I could see in her eyes she was nervous, and afraid that she was going to get caught by Jameson's people, by the way she kept looking around her.

I leaned over to her, and placed my hand on top of hers. "Relax, you're safe with me. I promise you; I will not let anything happen to you... trust me," I said, hoping I got through to her.

The waitress came by, took our order, and after she left, I looked over to Crystal. I wanted to know about her relationship with Jameson. If she only knew what he had planned for her, she probably would listen to her brother, and get the hell away from him.

I folded my hands, and twiddled with my thumbs for a moment, thinking about asking her what I'm curious to know. "So, tell me about you and your fiancé." I decided to ask about first.

She took a deep breath, and ran her fingers through her long dark hair, and pulled it over to the one side of her shoulder, looking at me like it was a question I shouldn't have asked her. "Well, we've been together for about five years, and he owns quite a few hotels around the world, he-"

"Do you love him?" I ask, cutting her off.

"Of course, I love him, why?" she asked, furrowing her eyebrows, and picked up her glass of water. "What kind of question is that? I'm marrying him, aren't I?"

"When I look at you, you have this look in your eyes that says you're unhappy, and that there's something wrong. What I don't understand is, why are you paying for the entire wedding, shouldn't he be helping you? I mean, think about it, if he has all this money, wouldn't you think he would be helping?" I ask, looking at her dumbfounded.

"I see where you're going with this, and I've had this exact same conversation with my brother. Like I said, we've been together for five years, and I feel it's owed to me to marry him."

"Owed to you?" I ask, twitching my head. "How is it owed to you? He asks you to marry him, in which you say yes, yet, he refuses to give you the time of day. It makes no sense to me... let me ask you this, why are you even with him? If you were mine, there's no way I would let you work in a place where you're working now, does he even know?"

"He does know where I work... but doesn't know I started stripping. That, I just started doing the night I ran into you. To be honest with you, I don't even know why I'm with him anymore. Lately, he's been secretive, and accusing me and others of stealing from him. I don't know what to think anymore... that's one of the main reasons why I've been meeting with my brother. I've been trying to get his ideas and thoughts on the situation. He keeps telling me to walk away, and to leave him. That he isn't worth it, and to go find someone that does want to be with me," she says quietly, looking away from me.

Just as I was going to speak, our food arrived. While we ate, she remained quiet. She had her elbow on the table, and rested the side of her face into the palm of her hand, playing with her food. She looked like she was thinking hard, and would take small bites here, and there. The longer I looked at her, the more I wanted to tell her what I knew, and hoped she wouldn't slap me across the face.

"Your brother is right, I think you need to leave him," I say quietly, while taking a bite of my food.

She looked at me for a minute, then placed her napkin over her plate. "It's not that easy," she whispered.

I didn't say another word, and finished my meal. After I finished eating, I removed the napkin from my lap, wiped my mouth, and stood up, reaching my hand out to her. "Come on, give me one dance before we leave."

"Here?" she asked, surprised.

"Yes, one dance, that's all I ask... nobody is around to watch us, if you're worried about that."

She placed her hand in mine, and we stepped away from the table. I then reached around her, and pulled her tight up against me, and held her other hand in mine, and danced with her. I looked down at her, and stared into those blue-green eyes of hers, and melted into them. I wanted to kiss her, right then and there, and was about to, but the song ended, and she released herself from me. She grabbed her purse off the table, and stood staring at the guests on the other dining area.

"I'm sure they didn't see us," I said, as I spoke into her ear.

After paying our bill, I placed my hand on the small of her back, wanting her close to me, and began walking her to my car. When we approached my vehicle, I turned around, and reached my hands up the side of her face, cupping them, and leaned forward, kissing her on the lips. The moment my lips touched hers, I felt electricity, jolting throughout my body, only making me want to kiss her longer. I slid my arms around her, embracing her tightly against me, and kissed her with more passion, which caused my hot member to grow with anticipation.

The kiss surprised her, she pulled back and looked at me for a moment, then wrapped her arms around me, kissing me. I deepened the kiss, and began trailing my hands up and down her body, while her fingers slid through my hair, and moan escaped her lips, as she tugged on my hair.

I pulled back, and looked at her, while resting my hand underneath her chin, and traced her bottom lip with my thumb. As her eyes closed, I leaned down, and gave her another passionate kiss. She abruptly pulled back, and began gasping for air.

"We better go," I say while opening the car door for her. If I stood there any longer with her, kissing her, I would be bringing her home to my place, instead of dropping her off at work, and would give her the best damn sex she's ever had.

The ride, started off quiet, with both of us looking at each other every now and then. "That kiss back there... what was that?" she asked quietly, while tracing her lips with her finger.

"I don't know, what was it?" I asked, smirking.

"I've never been kissed like that before," she says softly, turning her head, and looked out the passenger window.

"I shouldn't have done that, you're an engaged woman," I say to her, even though I enjoyed the kiss myself.

I then heard her take a deep breath, and sighed loudly. As I pulled up to her work, I got out of the car, and walked over, opening the door for her. When she got out, she grabbed a fistful of my shirt, and pulled me to her, kissing me, and shocking me that she kissed me again.

"Thanks for the ride," she says smiling, then walked away. It gave me a smile, and I stood still, watching her walk down the stairs, and go into the building. I got back in my car, and heard my phone making noises. I picked it up, and looked. I had missed calls, and sat there, calling them back. It was my boss, informing me that I needed to do a job, and that it needed to be done ASAP. I sighed, hoping to have a night off this shit, then hoped I was able to complete the job, before having to pick up Crystal.

I went home and changed, then headed back down to my jaguar, and looked inside my trunk, making sure my sniper rifle was still in there. My mission was to take out some drug dealers that had arrived into town. They had sold some laced drugs to some teens, and had overdosed. Four of them died, and one of them was still in ICU.

When I arrived to the location, I parked my car behind a building, hidden in between bushes, and trees nearby. I grabbed my bag from the trunk, and quickly walked over to a building, and found a ladder to get up to the rooftop. I then quickly set up my area before they arrived to the abandoned building that was located across the street.

When the drug dealers arrived, I lowered myself, and laid quietly while keeping my aim on them. As they stepped out, I began shooting, taking them out, one by one. One of the drug dealers ended up taking off, and running behind the other side of the building. The guy started shooting, not knowing where I was. He kept shooting until it got quiet, apparently, he must have run out of ammo, and needed to reload his weapon. I kept my eyes out looking for him, and tried listening to where he went.

"Son of a bitch, where the fuck did, he go." I whispered, looking around. I then heard someone sneak up from behind me, and pulled out my silverballer, and rolled quickly onto my back, aiming and shooting at him, hitting him the chest. My heart was racing, and quickly stood up. I wanted to make sure he was dead, and that he wouldn't shoot at me, that I ran over to him, kicked the gun out of his hand, then kneeled to see if he was alive, and he was. I stood up, aimed, and shot him again, this time in the forehead.

Hearing sirens all over, I took off, ran to my car, and fled the area. "Fuck that was close!" I yelled, hitting the steering wheel with the palms of my hands. "I cannot believe I let him sneak up on me like that!" Feeling the need for a drink, I headed straight to Crystal's work. When I walked in, the first thing I saw was, Crystal, dancing on the stage. It instantly pissed me off, and felt she was degrading her body like that for nothing.

I walked over to the bar, and ordered a drink, slamming it the moment, the bartender handed it to me. I asked for another, and turned around to watch her. This time, sipping the cocktail. The moment she got done dancing, I stood, and followed her back to her room.

When she opened the door, I walked in with her, causing her to jump. "What are you doing back here?" she asked in shock, while holding her hand to her chest.

"We need to talk," I growled.
