4- First encounter

Crystal~

Once I heard the front door open, and close, I tried hurrying out of Jameson's office before I was caught, and here I am, caught. I wasn't expecting for him to come home, so when I turned around and saw him staring at me with anger in his eyes, I was scared as shit. "What were you doing in there?" he asked sternly, with his hands on his hips.

The way he was looking at me, I felt my hands starting to shake, and knew I had to come up with some sort of an excuse, and fast. "I was looking for you. I wanted to let you know that I was on my way over to the gym." I said nervously, hoping he'll believe me, and started walking away from him. He put his hand on my shoulder, stopping me from walking, and spun me around.

"What were you looking for?" he asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

"I wasn't looking for anything!" I said in a high-pitched voice. "I was just looking for you, I didn't know that you had even left, until I heard the front door," I said, pushing his hand off me. "Now that you know I'm leaving; I'll see you later." I said, walking away from him with my heart still pounding. When I left, I couldn't help but think that was a close one, and how it was a good thing I wasn't caught snooping around in his office, he would kill me for sure.

Mr. Alexander~

After the bitch left, I walked around my office looking at everything, and made sure she wasn't into what she wasn't supposed to be, then checked my desk drawers making sure they were still locked. I looked on top of my desk, and it looked the same as what it did when I left. Maybe she was telling me the truth, and was just looking for me... doesn't matter, I still don't trust the fucking bitch.

Seeing everything was in the same place, and not touched, I sat down and unlocked the drawers, then pulled out the paperwork I needed, and picked up my phone, calling my attorney. "I should be there in about twenty minutes, and will have all the paperwork that you need." I relocked the drawers, stood up, and grabbed the paperwork to bring to my attorney, and double checked the top of my desk, making sure I didn't leave anything behind before I left.

Crystal~

I got off the city bus, and started walking towards the gym. As I walked, I started getting an eerie feeling that I was being followed, and stopped to turn around. I looked around, and all I saw were groups of people walking, and jogging. Nothing looked suspicious, and didn't see anyone go and hide, and turned back around, and headed to the gym. Once I got inside the gym, I headed for the locker room, changed into my workout clothes, and placed the rest of my belongings into the locker, and grabbed my headphones, and iPod.

I was still upset about Jameson, and felt extremely angry inside with how he treated me, how he forcefully fucked me, and how I saw Miranda in his office with her expression still painted in my mind, when I asked Jameson if they were fucking. The noises I heard coming from his office sounded like they were in fact fucking, and then for him to deny fucking her, I had to burn off a little steam. I decided change up my daily routine, and headed upstairs to take a jog around the building, before I hit the exercise machines.

Diego~

I walked around the gym looking for Crystal, and was beginning to get a little worried she didn't show up today. I wasn't sure what to do, and debated with myself about leaving. Maybe she got caught up with something, and is running late. I thought to myself. Thinking she was running later, I figured to stick around a little while longer, and walked over to the weights, and began lifting them. While I was lifting weights, I looked across the way, and saw her walking down the stairs, and over to the exercise bikes. Whew, she's here... I said under my breath, as I bent down to picked up the bar full of weights.

I continued lifting weights, while my eyes remained glued to her. Being she was in a spot where I could clearly see her, I decided to keep lifting weights, but also hoped she would move to another area, so I could take a break from lifting these heavy fuckers. As I watched her, I noticed she had a look on her face that I tried figuring out, it almost looked like she was lost, or sad. I wasn't exactly sure what the look was, but it wasn't a look of a conniving thief. I'm now beginning to think he just wants her gone... but why?

I noticed her heading for the locker room, and looked at my watch to see how much time I had before she left. I walked into the locker room, and so I didn't miss her leaving, I took a quick shower, and changed. We must have both walked out of the locker rooms at the same time, as I was stepping out, she had her head down looking at her phone, and ran into me.

"Oh, sorry!" she said, as she looked up at me.

I tipped my hat down, not wanting her to see my eyes, or what I looked like for that matter, and smiled, while nodding my head. She then walked past me, and began leaving the gym in a hurry. I reached into my bag, and grabbed a different hat, replacing it with the one I was wearing, to throw her off in case she was to look behind her, and to keep her from thinking I was following her. I then started following her, and followed her into a Chinese restaurant.

I found a table to sit where I could visibly see her, and the man she was the day prior. I was liking the fact that the place was dead, and that it was nice and quiet, in which it will make it much easier to listen to the two talk. As I watched and listened to the two, I noticed they didn't engage in anything that showed they were romantically involved, and began wondering who this man was.

Frustrations started to grow within me, in the two days I started following her, I haven't seen or heard anything that was leading me to believe she was stealing or cheating, and decided to leave. I waved for the waitress, wanting to get her attention so I could pay my bill, and as she approached, I held out a twenty-dollar bill. "I'd like to pay for my food... please, and thank you." While waiting for my change, I discreetly kept trying to look at her. I know I've only been following her for a couple days, but the more I watch her, I see her as an innocent person, who got mixed with the wrong guy. Who the fuck knows, I don't know her from Adam, and maybe she is doing what Mr. Alexander is saying? Maybe she herself knows something is going on, and is playing safe right now.

"Thank you," I say, when she handed me my change.

It looked like they were done themselves, and hurried out of there. I sat on a bench outside the restaurant, waiting for them to come out, and grew more curious as who this guy was, she was seeing for lunch every day. When they walked out, they both went their separate ways. Instead of following Crystal, I decided to follow the man, thinking of ways to approach him, without giving him any information about me.

I jogged over to him, and tapped him on the shoulder. "Excuse me, sir?" I said, hoping to get him to stop, and turn around. He turned around, and gave me a strange look. "That woman back there," I say pointing to Crystal. "I noticed you with her, who is she?"

"Why do you ask?" he asks, giving me a curious look.

"She reminds me of someone I once knew."

He mockingly laughed, and scratched the back of his head, while looking like he was trying to figure out who I was. "Well, if you once knew her, then you would know who I am... being that she's my sister," he says sarcastically.

I gave him a confused look, looked back at her, then back to him. "Sister?" I ask, shaking my head in disbelief. "I must be thinking of someone else. She looks so much like her, and have been searching for her for years. Unfortunately, the one I knew was an only child. I'm sorry to bother you." I say, looking back at her again, and see her getting on the bus.

"I best be going," he says, as he started to turn back around.

"Sorry, I didn't catch your name."

"Brandon Phillips... I'd stay and chat, but I need to get back to work."

After Brandon walked away, I grabbed my phone, and made a call. "Yeah, it's me Diego. I need you to do something for me... see if you can find any information on a Brandon Phillips, and do what you can to try and get that to me tonight." I demanded before hanging up. Sister...I laugh, shaking my head while feeling like a bonehead, and headed home for the day. I've seen and heard enough for the day, and needed a little break from this situation.

Later that evening, I was sitting on my couch relaxing, when I received a phone call from Mr. Alexander, asking how things were going, and wanting to know how much longer until she's officially gone. I rubbed my face hard, not knowing what to all tell him. I didn't want to give him too much information just yet, especially after finding out that she had been seeing her brother every day, and not another man in a romantical way.

"I've been watching, and following her, but I need more time," I tell him, running my hand through my hair.

I changed my mind about giving you a month to get rid of her. I want her gone within the next couple weeks. He demanded. Sooner the better... and if she's gone within two weeks, I'll give you a huge bonus. He says hanging up on me, not giving me a chance to speak.

I needed to find out more about her, and fast. If I was going to go through with this job, I wanted to be damn sure she was this awful person he was claiming her to be. I looked at her daily schedule and saw she worked tonight. I showered, changed, and headed out to find her.

I started walking the streets of downtown New York, and saw Crystal walking on the other side of the street. I took a step out onto the road, and got honked at. "Yeah, yeah, I saw you... asshole." I yelled, giving him the finger. After the cars drove by, I ran across the street, and sprinted to catch up to her. I then followed her down the steps, and into an underground club.

As I walked around, I realized not only was it a nightclub, it was a strip club as well. Oh boy. I mumbled to himself. I found a place to sit, and looked around for her. With the darkness in the building, and all the flashing lights, I was having a bit of a hard time finding her. While looking all around inside, I couldn't believe how big the place actually was. When you look at it from the outside, you wouldn't think of it being as big as it was, as well as in the location it was. I've lived here all my life, and never even knew this place existed.

While I was looking around, I heard a soft voice leaning into my ear, asking if I would like anything to drink. I turned around, and swallowed hard when I saw it was Crystal. She was dressed in a short, tight, black mini skirt, and the top she was wearing was just enough to cover her nipples, as her breasts bulged out of the top, also revealing her firm beautiful stomach, and a belly button ring. Damn, she's fucking sexy... I thought, having to shake thoughts out of my head as I continued staring at her body.

"I'll have a bourbon on the rocks," I stuttered, trying not to look at her breasts, and looked away from her.

"You look very familiar, do I know you?" she asks, causing me to look at her.

"So, what you're saying, is that there's another irresistible man out there that looks identical to me?" I asked smiling, wanting to throw her off.

She smiled, and walked away, walking to the next table to get their drink order. As I watched her, and waited for my drink, my phone rings, and seeing who it was, I answered it. I was having a hard time hearing what my informant was trying to tell me, and I cut him off from speaking, "I'll have to call you back in a little bit, once I find a quieter area."

Crystal walked back with my drink, and placed it in front of me. "Keep the change." I say, handing her a twenty, and picking up my drink to take a sip. I noticed her staring at me, and looked away from her breasts, and looked up into her eyes.

"You're the guy from the gym, aren't you?" she asks, standing with her arms crossed.

I figured now was the time to start getting to know her. As of this very second, I hadn't seen anything to show what Mr. Alexander was telling me, and now for him to give me two weeks to get rid of her? I wanted to try and get to know her, and her story, fast. I smiled. "Guilty as charged."

"I've never seen you in here before," she says, innocently.

I shook my head no, and knew I had to come up with an excuse on why I was here. I didn't need to get kicked out of the place, if she thought I was being some sort of stalker, and was following her. "That's because it's my first time in this joint. I happened to be in the neighborhood, walking by, and thought I would check the place out, and to see what kind of place this was. I've lived here forever, and have never heard, or seen this place before. I must say, it's a pretty interesting place," I snickered.

"It is," she smiled, and looked behind her, most likely seeing if others needed a drink. "Well... I guess it was nice seeing you again, maybe I'll see you around," she says walking away.

I picked up my drink, and walked over to a much quieter area, and called my informant back. "What did you find out?" I asked while taking a drink, and listening to what he has to say. "So, he is Crystal's brother... what else were you able to find out about him?" After getting all the information I was looking for, I hung up, and walked back into the nightclub, bumping into Crystal along the way.

"Hello, again," she giggled. "That's twice now, that I've run into you today."

I smiled, and took a drink. Then looked at her curiously, while wiping my mouth with the back of my hand. "There's something I need to ask, and I'm very curious... what on earth is a gorgeous gal like you doing, working in a place like this?" I ask while waving my hand around the place. "I mean, I guess there's nothing wrong with working in a place like this, but you... you could get a job anywhere with your beautifulness, and here you are, working in a strip club.

She took a deep breath, and looked around before looking at me, answering my question. From the way she was acting, I got the vibe she didn't like working here, but waited to hear what she has to say. "It's not that I want to work here, I have to work here... I'm getting married in a few months, and my fiancé is refusing to help pay for our wedding, so I had to get a job somewhere to pay for it."

"Woah, woah, woah," I say, shaking my head, and holding my hands out in front of me. "Did I just hear you right? Did you just say, you're getting married in a few months, and he's refusing to pay for it?"

"Yes, that's exactly what I said."

"Huh?" I scrunched my eyebrows, and twitched my head. This is the strangest thing I've heard all day. I thought to myself. "Wow... that's too bad, I've never heard of anyone getting married, where the husband-to-be refuses to help pay for a wedding. Doesn't that make you think any differently of him? If he's that way now, how do you think he'll be once you're married? Now a more serious question, why would you want to marry him if he's making you do all the work? Do you think he even loves you? Because to me, that's not love. And If he loved you, he'd be helping with the wedding."

"I know... he hasn't helped with anything. My own brother has been helping me out, and he's been insisting me to call off the wedding, the problem is, I love him."

"What? How can you love someone, if he doesn't love you?" I said, shaking my head, and thinking is this girl for real? I know firsthand he doesn't love her, especially since he hired me to kill her. "Maybe your brother is right." I say, handing her my empty glass. "I'm going to get going, I'll see ya around."

I was getting ready to leave, and as I was walking up the stairs, I heard an announcer call out a name that had me stopping. I need you all to welcome Ms. C.P. to the stage. I recognized the initials, and decided to walk back down to see what that was all about. I walked back inside, and over to the stage when I saw her up there, dancing. I stood still watching her, ignoring everyone around me, and couldn't believe she was on stage, naked, and dancing the way she was. I sat down, and continued watching her, wondering if Mr. Alexander knew she was stripping.

I saw enough, and left to go home. After what the informant had told me, and after having that little talk with Crystal, I was now more than ever having a hard time believing that she was doing anything Mr. Alexander is claiming she is.

Throughout the night, I couldn't get over how incredibly beautiful she was, how her voice sounded so innocent, and how she was up on-stage dancing, that it got me worked up. And started to wonder what it would be like with her beneath me. I wanted to get know her, and wanted to find out what exactly was going on.

I called my informant back, wanting him to get more information for me. "Get all the information you can on Jameson Alexander, and please, get back to me as soon as possible," I tell him. I held Crystal's picture in my hand and stared at it for quite a while, trying to figure this whole story out. "What the fuck is really going on here?" I ask myself.
